I went to pick up a prescription this evening from CVS and are shocked at their behavior. After getting home I noticed the bottle felt a little light for the quantity prescribed and listed on the bottle, which prompted me to count what I actually received. Long and behold, I was 20 short. I called them and they told me they would "write a note" and to pick it up whenever. That didn't sound promising, so I drove back to CVS. The lady wasn't there. Not to my surprise, nothing was in the system like it legally should've been. After having to jog their memory about a call that was made 10 mins ago I got the remaining qty. No ID check or anything I was handed a bottle with NO label in a bag without a label containing a schedule II medication. While walking out I inspected the sketchy bag I was given and noticed it was the wrong medicine! I went back and was asked "What medicine was it supposed to be?". After another 10 minutes I finally got the correct remainder and went on my way.
This all happened at approximately 8pm on 8/18/23
Desired outcome: Don't steal patient's medication,or know how to count. Don't hand out schedule II or ANY medication without a label. Oh and maybe make sure you are handing out the correct medicine. Someone could die.
CVS - customer service
On Sept. 18, 2019 I went to this 24 hour CVS at approx. 7am there was no one to be found to check me out in the front. I looked around for about 5 minutes and the pharmacist was in the back by the drive thru window helping someone. After she had finished with her customer I did not asked her to cash me out, I only asked if she can page someone to the front of the store to help me. Her response was very rude, she told me very rudely "I will when I am finish what I'm doing". I understand if she was still completing a transaction at the window but she wasn't she had finished, how long does it take to page someone. The nasty way she spoke to me was very unprofessional and I just walked away. When I returned to the front of the store the cashier was finally in the front. I have no idea where he had been. Finally It was my turn to check out and now he tells me he can only take cash and it would be awhile till he could ring out credit or debit transactions because the system was down. My time was wasted at this CVS. I told him no I can't wait and I would just go down the street to Walgreens.
