My first complaint pertains to the CVS store #6146 in Norfolk, VA 23518.
1) The store is frequently out of the Tangerine/Lime sparkling water (Gold Emblem). And others…
2) Per the store, a truck delivers every Friday.
3) On 6/19, I went to the store to purchase the drinks and per the employee the product was here but it couldn't be located. Asked if she could check the "bill of lading" to help locate the item. "We don't have one of those."
4) I was also told the store is not able to request products! "We only get what the company sends."?
5) If products are shipped based on auto-replenishment, your
inventory processes are not working and/or your numbers are
incorrect. I was previously an inventory manager for surgical services in a tertiary care facility.
6) Are raw materials not available? Is it COVID-19 related?
I understand the current problem about hiring qualified personnel or just finding people to work. This woman was obviously very "stressed" trying to simultaneously manage my request along with helping the cashier. Thank you
Desired outcome: Have product on hand and ensure staff is properly trained regarding inventory practices.
