I am writing this complaint with my experience in the midst of switching pharmacys after being with the same pharmacy for over 10 years.
The pharmacists I am writing in reference to his name is Owen. He has been extremely short when calling to check in even to the status of my medications being filled. My personal Doctor called all of these medications in yesterday at 10:30 am in the morning.
Apparently there are "drug interactions" in which they need to check in about When asking "why do you need to get clarification on any of these prescriptions" he didn't state any reason specifically.
Then after my Doctor whom has been prescribing for well over 6 to 8 years has been giving me these medications didn't state there was any "allergic reactions" with these medications.
Which being a M.D. needs to do in order to successfully fulfill his own job and role.
My personal doctors office reached out today to let me know all the medications were called in.
I then called CVS up on Water Tower hill to clarify they were in fact ready to be filled and ready for pick up.
When answering the phone the pharmacists named Owen stated he hadn't received the phone call from my personal Doctor.
He also was extremely rude and disrespectful.
I told him he was extremely rude.
When coming up to the pharmacy I was on the phone with my doctors office who stated they were called in yesterday and Owen claimed there was several phone calls into my doctors office.
The office assistant from my doctors office stated that if there were any phone calls from any pharmacy especially a new one it would have showed in the system.
Although there was no track of these phone calls from Owen the pharmacists.
He also walked away when I was in mid sentence and didn't say excuse me or any other thing stating he would be right back.
This is the last thing some one needs to deal with during picking up prescriptions.
