Popeyes on Galaxy Dr. I just had a horrible experience at this Popeyes on Galaxy Dr in Lacey!
I stopped in for a quick to go bag, the girl at the counter took my order, then I realized she did not have on a mask, and there are no plexiglass dividers between employees and customers. When I asked her why she did not have on a mask, I was told "I'm not technically on the clock". I told her she needed to have on a mask and she just turned and walked away, I then asked to speak to the manager. When the girl at the counter told the manager this and why, the manager looked straight at me and rolled her eyes, and walked towards the back. I stood there until she came within speaking distance, and asked why the employee did not have on a mask, I was told "because she came in very sick today, and I told her she did not have to wear one"!
I said that she should not only not be working, but should not be interacting with customers without a mask, and how did she know that she does not have COVID.
I then asked for a refund and she rolled her eyes and laughed, while handing me my money. She sarcastically said, "thanks for being so understanding"... I told her I was not, because it is putting people's lives in danger, she then said if I did not like it I should leave and not come back! There was another employee working with his mask below his nose.
This restaurant was filthy, and it was empty and not even 4 PM.
