Could not imagine a scenario where I would make a purchase 2 weeks ago and bring the item with the tags on it, in perfect condition, and with the online receipt and be told their system is 28 years old and they have no way of knowing even w the receipt how much I paid w dicks rewards and how much I paid in cash for the item. Furthermore, I was given no idea of how much rewards would be reissued to my card or when it would be issued! I bought a pair of nike shorts for about $17 and was given less than $3 back. I have no problem w the remainder being issued in rewards but I do expect the co to know how much will be issued back. No
I expect to know the sales price — what receipt doesn’t show the price?! Their online receipts do not! And ben the manager I had the misfortune of dealing w on 9/30/23 at 4:15 in the afternoon at the apleton, wi store couldn’t tell me how much rewards were used w the purchase of that item, how much would be returned, when it would be returned, give me a return receipt indicating a rewards refund would be issued, etc. What?! He also could not answer how on online customer could get a receipt online that showed the price of individual items or any way a customer could avoid the confusion and frustration caused by their 28 year old operating system!
I spent over $1,000 at dicks online in the last 6 weeks which is easy to verify w my scorecard but ben could not have done more to discourage me from giving dicks any more business!
Utter fail!
Desired outcome: I would like confirmation of how much rewards were used in my purchase, that amount retuned to my card, and an additional store credit of $10 for the aggravation
