USA Passport Beware of Identity Theft: My Experience with USA Passport (usa-passport.org)

I recently had an experience with USA Passport (usa-passport.org) that left me feeling disappointed. While I cannot speak to their passport services, I did have an issue with identity theft that I believe may have originated from their website.

After noticing some suspicious activity on my credit report, I contacted the Social Security office for assistance. They provided me with a phone number to call, which I did. The person on the other end of the line instructed me to file a police report and mail it to a P.O. Box in Atlanta, Georgia.

I was frustrated and confused by this process, especially since I already have bad credit and didn't think there was much someone could do with my social security number. However, I followed the instructions I was given and hope that this will resolve the issue.

Looking back, I realize that I should have been more careful with my personal information. I urge others to take precautions, such as a credit freeze, to protect themselves from identity theft. And, if you do experience something like this, make sure to double check any information you receive to ensure it is legitimate.

Overall, I cannot recommend USA Passport (usa-passport.org) based on my experience. While I cannot say for certain that their website was the source of my identity theft, I do believe it is important to be cautious when sharing personal information online.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Costly Mistake with Personal Information

and I wish I had known better before giving out my personal information.

I stumbled upon usa-passport.org when I was looking to renew my passport. At first glance, it seemed like a legitimate government website, but I soon realized that it was not. They charge a hefty fee of almost $50 for simply collecting your information and filling out a form for you. It's a complete rip-off!

What's worse is that they have access to all your personal information, including your Social Security number. This is a major security concern, and I had to take extra measures to protect myself by putting a freeze on my credit reporting company. It's a real hassle and inconvenience that could have been avoided if I had known better.

I strongly advise against using usa-passport.org or any other non-governmental website for passport services. Stick to the official government website to ensure the safety and security of your personal information. Don't fall for their tricks and waste your hard-earned money on nothing.

USA Passport Misleading Website: usa-passport.org - Beware of Privacy Policy and Affiliation Claims

This website, usa-passport.org, is not a government agency, but they don't make that clear enough. I'm 88 years old and use a tablet computer, so I couldn't see the small print that said they weren't affiliated with the government. I gave them all my passport information, but then I read their privacy policy and found out that they can sell my information to anyone for any reason, even if it's illegal. They say you can opt out, but the email they give you doesn't work. I don't trust them at all, even if they say they'll take you off their list. To be safe, I changed my credit card number and put a fraud alert on my Equifax account for free.

USA Passport Beware of Fake Passport Sites: Use the Official Government Site for Free and Easy Application Process

I was in a real hurry and didn't even notice that it wasn't a real government site, what a waste of my hard-earned cash! You can do the exact same thing for free on a real government site (even the pdf fill), they're just charging a lot of money for something that no one needs! I even had a few mistakes on my application, and they didn't catch any of them - so much for paying for something to check your application and help you fix anything wrong before you submit it. I would've had to redo another one once I got to a passport center.

But, let me tell you, I found the real government site and it was a breeze to use. I didn't have to pay a single penny and the process was so easy to follow. I was able to fill out the application form in no time at all and I didn't have to worry about any mistakes because the site checked everything for me.

I was so relieved that I didn't have to spend any extra money and that I was able to get my passport application done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend using the real government site instead of wasting your money on a fake one.

If you're looking to apply for a passport, make sure you use the official government site. Don't fall for any scams or fake sites that are just trying to take your money. The real government site is easy to use and completely free, so there's no reason to waste your time or money on anything else.

Here's the link to the real government site: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/forms.html

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Fraudulent Website for Passport Services

I recently decided to apply for a USA passport and stumbled upon usa-passport.org. At first glance, they seemed like a legitimate website to help me with my passport application. However, I soon realized that they were anything but legitimate.

I fell for their trap and paid the initial fee of $70.00. I then asked my wife to mail in my application along with a headshot photo and an additional $40.00 fee. Thankfully, she forgot to include the extra fee.

Two weeks later, I received my application packet back in the mail without my $70.00. The letter stated that I needed to pay the additional $40.00 fee and provide another front photo that was 2"x2". I was confused because that was the size of the photo I had sent them to begin with. They claimed that the photo I sent was too large and could not be used.

I recently requested a refund, but of course, they did not reply. I am extremely disappointed with usa-passport.org and believe that they should be held accountable for their fraudulent behavior. They should be placed in jail for taking advantage of innocent people like myself.

In conclusion, I highly advise against using usa-passport.org for any passport services. They are not legitimate and will only cause you frustration and disappointment. Stick to the official government website for all your passport needs.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Review of a Passport Renewal Service

I was looking for a way to renew my passport and stumbled upon usa-passport.org. At first, I was a bit confused about the whole process and was worried about falling into a trap. However, I thought these guys were legit even though they mentioned that they were not affiliated with any government agency. I assumed that the ".org" in their web address meant that they were just an organization that helped people get their passports.

The website provided me with a pdf form to fill in with my personal information, including my Social Security Number. I then submitted the form to them for "approval". I was charged $39 for this service, which I thought was reasonable at the time. However, I later found out that I still needed to pay the US Government an additional $140. This was not made clear to me when I used their service.

In my opinion, the service provided by usa-passport.org was not worth the $39 I paid. I could have easily found the form online for free and submitted it directly to the US Government. If I had known that I still needed to pay the government, I would not have used this service. I feel like I was misled and taken advantage of.

Furthermore, I am now worried about the safety of my personal information. If usa-passport.org were to steal my identity, it would cost me a lot more than $39. I would not recommend using this service and would advise others to be cautious when using similar websites. It's always better to go directly to the source and avoid any unnecessary fees or risks.

USA Passport Beware of USA Passport (usa-passport.org): A Complete Scam Targeting Innocent People

This company, USA Passport (usa-passport.org), is a complete scam. They will make you feel like a fool for ever trusting them. The worst part is when you finally submit your application and complete the transaction, the title of the website tab reads "THANK YOU FOR TRUSTING US". This is a clear indication that they are trying to deceive you. If it weren't for this sketchy title, I would have never looked into this scam any further. It's disgusting that companies like this can exist and operate so seamlessly in plain sight.

It's alarming that Google has this website at the top of their search list instead of an actual government website. It really makes you question the credibility of search engines like Google. I had to take drastic measures and go to the three major credit bureaus to put a freeze on all my accounts. This is a huge inconvenience for me as I am currently trying to become a doctor and need to travel to another country for school. This website has only made the process longer and more difficult.

The website is set up perfectly to be a super scam. They make it seem like they are a legitimate government website, but in reality, they are just trying to take advantage of innocent people. Do not trust them under any circumstances. It's important to do your research and only trust official government websites when it comes to important documents like passports. Don't fall for their tricks and don't let them take advantage of you. Stay safe and stay vigilant.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A cautionary tale about submitting personal information online

So, I had to renew my passport because it had expired a few months ago. I was in a hurry and didn't pay much attention to the website I was using. I knew it wasn't the official government website, but I still wanted to see what kind of information they required. I started filling out their form, but when I got to the end, I realized that it wasn't a good idea to submit it. I didn't give them my credit card information, but the problem is that their form has several pages, and each page has to be filled out before you can move on to the next one. Every time you advance the page, they get your information. Even if you don't submit the form, they still have all your data.

The weirdest thing happened after I closed the website. They did something to my router that blocked access to the State Department's passport website. I tried resetting the router to factory defaults and changing the password, but the blockage still exists. I don't know what to do about it. I've even frozen my credit sites to prevent anyone from opening accounts with my name and social security number. But then, I received an email from the website asking me to complete my order. That's when I realized that they had my information.

I feel so stupid for falling for this. I should have been more careful. I don't know what they're going to do with my information, but I'm worried. I hope this review will help others avoid making the same mistake. Don't use usa-passport.org. Stick with the official government website.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Costly Scam for Passport Services

I was searching on Google for a way to get passports for my kids and stumbled upon usa-passport.org. With COVID shutting down some of the usual passport agencies, I figured this was a good option. I thought I was paying for the service upfront and wouldn't be charged again when I submitted my documents. Boy, was I wrong! These guys charge $49.00 for a totally unnecessary service. I had to get three passports, so that's almost $150.00 down the drain.

To make matters worse, I found out that I could have picked up the forms for free at my local post office. And on top of that, I had to give these scammers all of my private information - social security numbers, birthdates, addresses, and parents' names. I feel like a complete idiot.

When I talked to government agents, they told me that this was a scam. I went back and read the emails and documents, and sure enough, in the fine print at the bottom, it says that this site is not affiliated with the US government. Who has time to read all of that when you're trying to plan a big trip?

So, learn from my mistake and don't give these criminals your private information or pay them for something that's free. Now I have to pay for a service to monitor my information so these suckers can't steal my identity. It's just great.

USA Passport Protect Your Credit: How to Place a Freeze on Your Credit Report

I recently stumbled upon usa-passport.org and decided to give it a try. I must say, based on the reviews I've read, it seems like some people have had some negative experiences with this website. However, I went ahead and entered my personal information before my credit card company flagged it as fraudulent. I was a bit worried that they could still steal my identity with the information I provided before paying.

But fear not, my fellow humans! I have found a solution to protect your credit. You can easily place a freeze on your credit so that lenders and creditors have to contact you before approving you for any credit cards or loans. It's super simple to do, and I'll explain how.

First, head over to myequifax.com and create an account or log in if you already have one. From there, you can place or manage your Equifax Security Freeze. This alert will remain on your Equifax credit report for one year from the date you placed it.

If you update your contact information, be sure to contact Experian and TransUnion to provide them with your updated information. You can contact them directly at the addresses provided below:

TransUnion LLC, P. O. Box 2000, Chester, PA 19***289 or www.transunion.com
Experian, P. O. Box 9554, Allen, TX 75***742 or www.experian.com

If you need to remove your initial fraud alert, keep in mind that it's only with Equifax. To remove a fraud alert from TransUnion or Experian, you'll need to contact them directly.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact customer care at ***351. They're available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (ET), Monday to Friday.

Overall, while usa-passport.org may not be the best option for obtaining a passport, there are steps you can take to protect your credit and personal information. Stay safe out there, folks!

USA Passport USA Passport Review: Quick Renewal, but Security Concerns

I recently used USA Passport (usa-passport.org) to renew my passport. Like many others, I thought it would be a quick and easy process. I entered all my personal information, but now I'm worried about the security of my data. I even put a freeze on all three of my credit reports and plan to call my bank to make sure everything is secure.

Despite my concerns, I did receive my renewed passport in a timely manner. However, I did have to pay an additional fee for expedited processing. The website also offers a variety of other services, such as visa applications and travel insurance.

Overall, I would recommend using USA Passport, but be cautious when entering personal information. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Complete Rip-Off and Scam

This website, usa-passport.org, is a complete rip-off. They pretend to be the US government, but they're just a private company trying to steal your information. They charge $49 for something that you could easily do yourself. It's a complete waste of money.

I found out that they're stealing information from Spain, which is really shady. I wouldn't trust them with any of my personal information. They're just trying to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting people.

I'm going to contact my bank in the morning to report this fraud and get my money back. It's ridiculous that they're allowed to operate like this. I hope that other people don't fall for their scam and waste their money like I did.

In conclusion, stay away from usa-passport.org. They're not to be trusted and they're just trying to take advantage of people. Don't give them any of your personal information or your hard-earned money.

USA Passport Cautionary Review: Personal Information Risk with Private Passport Company

I wrote a review about this company before and I wasn't too happy with them. I still worry about giving so much personal information to a "Private Company" when applying for a passport. It just seems like a risk for identity theft. But, to be fair, they did give me my money back when I complained about feeling like I got scammed. Or, at least, that's what they said they did.

I think it's important to be cautious when dealing with any company that requires a lot of personal information. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to protecting your identity. However, I do appreciate that they were willing to refund my money when I expressed my concerns.

Overall, I think it's important to do your research and read reviews before using any service that requires personal information. It's better to be informed and aware of any potential risks before making a decision.

USA Passport Beware of usa-passport.org: A Scam Website Not Worth the Risk

and fall for this scam website. It's not worth the risk.

I recently tried to apply for a USA passport through usa-passport.org and it was a complete disaster. I filled out all my personal information on my phone, but when I went back to the tab, everything was gone. I was so frustrated and confused. I spent almost $60 on this website, and it was my first time applying for a passport, so I didn't know what to expect.

After looking through the website, I saw a disclaimer that said they were not affiliated with the government. I was shocked and angry. I felt like I had been scammed. I immediately called my bank to do a chargeback and tried to freeze my social security number. I didn't want to take any chances.

I want to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. This website is a scam and not worth the risk. It's important to always do your research and make sure you are using a legitimate website when applying for important documents like a passport. Don't fall for the flashy website and promises of quick service. It's not worth the potential consequences.

In conclusion, I highly advise against using usa-passport.org. It's a scam website that preys on unsuspecting individuals who are trying to apply for a passport. Save yourself the headache and use a legitimate website that is affiliated with the government. Don't let this website take advantage of you like it did to me.

USA Passport Warning: usa-passport.org is a Scam - Do Not Use!

This website, usa-passport.org, is a complete scam. I highly recommend that you do not use it. I made the mistake of using this website to apply for my passport, and it was a complete disaster. When I went to the post office to pick up my passport, they told me that everything could have been done there and that I shouldn't have had to pay anything beforehand. I was so angry that I had been scammed by these low-life individuals.

If you do happen to get scammed by these people, don't worry. You can call the number that is present on the bank transaction, and they will give you a refund very easily. It's almost as if they know that they are scamming people and are prepared to give refunds without any questions asked. It's really quite despicable.

I would give this website a zero-star rating if I could. It's really a shame that there are people out there who are willing to take advantage of others in this way. Please, do not use this website. It's not worth the risk.
