Compassionate Care at UT Physicians: A Review
I went to UT Physicians and let me tell you, they really care about their patients. I was impressed with how they listened to my concerns and took the time to explain everything to me. My husband has brain cancer and they were so compassionate and understanding. They really went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed. I can't thank them enough for all they've done for us.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, there were a couple of spelling and grammar errors in some of the paperwork they gave me. But honestly, who cares about that when they're taking such good care of you? It just goes to show that they're human too and make mistakes like the rest of us.
Overall, I would highly recommend UT Physicians to anyone looking for quality healthcare. They truly go the extra mile to make sure their patients are well taken care of. So if you're in need of medical attention, don't hesitate to give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
Disappointing Experience at UT Physicians: Lack of Care and Arrogance from Staff and Doctor
I went to UT Physicians and it was not a good experience. The staff was not friendly and seemed to not care about my concerns. The doctor I saw was very arrogant and did not listen to me. I felt like I was just a number to them and not a person. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They seem to only care about money and not the well-being of their patients. I would suggest finding a different doctor who actually cares about their patients. It's important to feel comfortable and heard when you go to the doctor, and unfortunately, I did not feel that way at UT Physicians.
Warning: Avoid UT Physicians and Memorial Hermann Hospital - My Experience with Dr. Michael Greaser
I just wanted to share my experience with UT Physicians and their doctor, Michael Greaser. Let me tell you, this guy is a real piece of work. He's incompetent and dishonest, and it's clear that his bosses at UTP and Memorial Hermann Hospital not only enable his behavior, but they encourage it and enjoy it. It's no wonder that these healthcare organizations employ more lawyers than doctors.
I urge you to steer clear of UT Physicians and Memorial Hermann Hospital. They have a third-world, destructive culture that puts patients at risk. Instead, seek out one of the many great doctors and hospitals in Houston and Texas. Don't become their next victim.
Tom Boone.
Unprofessional and Unorganized: My Experience with UT Physicians
I've been to UT Physicians a few times now, and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a hassle. I've been to different locations around 5 times in total in just 5 months, and every time I go to see a doctor, even at the same location, they say they never received my insurance. Like, what's up with that? They say they share the same system, but it seems like they're not communicating with each other very well. And it's not just my insurance - they keep losing my first time new patient forms too. I mean, come on, I filled those out already, why do I have to keep doing it every time?
I complained to corporate about it, but nothing was done. They just gave me some excuse about it being policy. Meanwhile, the admin assistants at the Cinco Ranch location are admitting that they keep losing it and blaming corporate for not being organized. It's like, who's really at fault here? Corporate is full of excuses, while the Cinco Ranch admins are at least honest about it.
Each time I go to any location, they "guarantee" they'll put my information in my file so I won't have to supply it again. But honestly, I don't have much faith in that guarantee. For all I know, they could be letting people get my information who aren't even part of UT Physicians. That's a serious HIPAA violation, and I don't want my personal info in dangerous hands.
Overall, I'd say UT Physicians is pretty unprofessional and full of excuses. Unless you want to pick up after them and risk your information being public, I'd stay away.
Avoid UT Physicians: Incompetent Doctors and Intimidating Lawyers
If you're considering UT Physicians for your medical needs, I highly recommend that you read the reviews before making a decision. From my personal experience, I can say that this company is far from competent and their doctors are not to be trusted.
I even spoke to a medical-malpractice lawyer about UT Physicians and was told that they have more lawyers than doctors for a reason. Apparently, they have a history of providing bad results from their doctors' work. And when something goes wrong, their lawyers will do everything in their power to intimidate and scare their patients.
I urge you to avoid UT Physicians at all costs, especially if you're dealing with the incompetent, cowardly, and deceitful Michael Greaser. If he injures you, he will run away and leave you to deal with the aftermath. And his boss, Walter Lowe, will make empty promises to help you, only to abandon you when things get tough.
Believe me when I say that if UT Physicians injures you, your life will be changed for the worse. They will turn on you and make you their enemy, putting you through a never-ending cycle of frustration and despair.
Please don't make the same mistake I did. There are plenty of competent and honest doctors in Houston and Texas. Do yourself a favor and avoid UT Physicians like the plague.
Unprofessional and Uncompassionate: My Experience with a Wellness Doctor
I'm a diabetic and I haven't seen a pediatrist in almost 9 months. I made my first appointment in November but wasn't able to get in until the following year. They had me reschedule my appointment for a later date, about a month later. I think they moved to a new office or something, but I don't remember.
Yesterday, I got a call asking if I could change my appointment again. They didn't even wait to see when I was available. I refused to change it again. Then, today, I had my appointment at 9:10. My ride showed up earlier than they were supposed to, without any warning. I left without my wallet and my full hot coffee sitting on the coffee table.
I sat in rush hour traffic for an hour to be refused service! They wouldn't treat me because I didn't have my copay of only $20. They even asked the manager if they could make an exception, but she came back out and said no. They needed the money to treat me. I have never in my life been refused treatment for not having a copay. I've been told countless times to get them next time or send it in as soon as possible, and I always do!
These so-called "wellness doctors" only care about your wellness if you can pay them at the time of service, no matter what the reason is. I will never go back to them again! I have requested a referral to a doctor who trusts their patients and takes them at their word that they will pay the copay, even if they forget their wallet. Wellness my butt!
You lost a good patient who always paid their bills. Find a different doctor. This one doesn't deserve our hard-earned money!
UT Physicians: A Disappointing Experience with CEO Andrew Casas at the Helm
UT Physicians used to be a decent place to receive medical care, but now it's pretty terrible. The main doctor at the Victory location is not very personable, but that's not the main issue. The real problem is the complete disregard for correcting issues, which seems to come from the CEO's office. Andrew Casas is the CEO, and he seems to be the root of the problem. More than once, I have had problems with the wrong medication or dosage being prescribed, a prescription being delayed, paperwork being lost, and other issues. I have gone back and forth with them for months over certain issues. It's frustrating because there is no way to contact anyone in the executive office without being redirected back to the originating location or person. I had to email Mr. Casas directly, and even then, I received a call from someone who sounded like they were doing me a favor by calling me back. It's clear that caring for patients is far beneath them.
However, there is one nurse practitioner at the Victory location who is amazing. She is a credit to the organization and her profession. If you specifically ask for her, then I would recommend UT Physicians. Otherwise, I would not recommend it to anyone. It's just awful.
