5 bucks for nothing
I pulled in to Valero #[protected] on Saratoga and Moorpark, in San Jose, CA. All I needed was for them to loosen a screw on my rear-view mirror with an allen wrench. The mechanic on-duty loosened it and asked for 5 dollars. "For what?" I asked. Paid him (which I saw him pocket) and decided to boycott Valero. Fist of all this employee should be reported for arbitrarily charging customers. With gas prices being what they are, how dare Valero employees charge for loosening a f*****g screw. I was a good customer, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

attendant is not answering
I went to valero gas station this morning 7/7/08 I used my
credit card and did not even asked for a picture i.d. and then
after i used the gas i noticed that my tire was flat so i went back and got tokens. the air machine was not working so i went to the window again and rang the bell and rang the bell the lady attendant was not coming out. I waited for 10 minutes I'm already late for work, and finally i had to just use my key to knock on the door . Then, she had came out. I don't know what it is that she was doing at the back. I let her know that the machine is not working if she can give me another token bec. this happened before when i put in 3 tokens and it did not work. So all she had to do is give me another token and the machine would have worked. California law states that when we purchase gas then air and water is free. She said she did not have another token. So they only keep 3 tokens in their register? I asked her well can she give me a quarter so it can work she said no. This is not the first time that this incident happened with this lady attendant. How do I complain to the gas station owner?
I bought a gas on Valero Service Station and paid by credit card. The sum I used to pay was $50 but when I received my receipt there was written $70. I started asking about this misunderstanding and came to a conclusion that it was not a mistake, but a planned fraud. Don’t use them!
All weekend I watched this. The gas price on the sign posted by the road was $3.86 / gallon. When you pull in, the price on the pump was $3.96
Is this a way to get people in who would not recheck the actual price? This stinks. Bad enough that gas is so high, but to try and lure you in with false advertising is a low move.
This guy now has posted a separate higher price for credit cards, but his price on the large main sign by the road is the lower cash price! I glanced up as I was pumping and noticed there was a separate credit card price next to a "cash" price. I was pissed. I called the manager this morning and he hung up on me.
very rude clerk
I visited a Valero corner store # 4199 in Bossier City Louisiana Airline Drive Location. The clerk was Miochi Thornton. This clerk was very rude and just a plain *** I would never recommend stopping at one of these stores they need to better train theses people! I really hate dealing with these folks that wake up in the morning living from pay check to pay check so they are mad at the world well let me tell you this go get you a better EDUCATION- Ed ja ma ca tion as they say then you will be where I am until then get a life.

Valero corner store # (2417) in Dallas Texas has employees who act the same way. Don't even take a Marlboro coupon in this store the foreign employees look at you like you are trying to rip them off and tell you that they do not except Marlboro coupons from the mail.
Its because Valero hires foreign clerks that are uneducated. they do not represent the company in a professional manner. They treat customers like crap.
terrible service and employees
I'm writing this post after the worst experience I've ever had in a retail establishment. 11.06.06 I visited the Valero on FM 518 in League City. I needed to get gas and to save my cash I decided to use my visa debit card. I knew for a fact that there was money in the acct, (I had just made a balance inquiry at bank when I withdrew the cash I did have on hand). After swiping my card the pump said 'please see cashier' Now mind you I stop at this store everyday to buy a soda and my cigarettes. Everyday it is the same rude employee working the counter.
I walked in and asked him what was wrong and why did it say 'see cashier' He immediately went nuts. He told me that it wasn't his fault that I was broke and had no money. I tried to explain to him that there was money in the acct and if he could just try to run it again. He refused and continued to yell. I asked him very kindly why was he being so rude, I had cash to pay for my gas, I just wanted him to swipe my card again.
At this point there are people everywhere watching this man yell at me for no reason. Not once did I raise my voice to him. Once again, I asked why he was being so ugly to me. I shouldn't have said that because that sent him into a frenzy telling me
'ugly, I'm being ugly? every day you bring your UGLY FACE in here, every day I have to look at your ugly face.' 'GET OUT OF MY STORE!' I WAS SHOCKED!
I went ahead and paid for my cigarettes with my cash and left. I drove two stores down and purchased gas with my debit card. I'm not sure what his deal or if they get charged extra for running a card 2xs. I'm not sure. I've worked in retail and understand that they get paid very little to do what they do, but I don't feel that customers should be treated this way. A good friend of mine went into the store this morning to try to get contact info for the owner/management of the store so I could file a complaint. The employee wouldn't give her any information.
11.07.06 Went online to www.valero.com to try to find out who was in charge of this store. The once again, very rude customer service rep basically was useless. Could only tell me that it is an 'Angel Store' and she had no contact info. My feeling is if they allow these 'Angel' people use their name and gas they should have some contact info for whoever owns the store, name, phone number something.
I would advise anyone that goes to this particular Valero, don't do it.

Valero in alto texas with filthy bath rooms! Complained to clerk. Was ignored. Walls, doors all needed a good scrubbing with Ajax and bleach? Of course today's generation prob. Does not know what that is obviously!
I am a CSR for Valero. I use to work at a High school for ten years I decided to apply at Valero one summer. I stayed with Valero. Not because of the pay but because of the customers. We have nice customers and we have rude customers. But most of all we have very nice customers that come to see us everyday we are like family. If I change my hair cut I get good comments or bad ones. If I am off for two days they wonder where did I go? Sometimes they asked me if I went home at all? This is just to let you know that one bad clerk does not mean we are all rude. Your are welcome at are store. If you are handicapped we go outside and help pump your gas. If you need water for your radiator we bring you a bucket of water. If you lock yourself out of your car we fine you a coat hanger. So, don't judge us buy one rude clerk. Have a GREAT day.!
Well first of all i work for Valero, and there are some "jobber" stores that carry Valero gas. So just because its a Valero store doesn't mean its a corporate "owned" store, it may have been a privately "owned "store that sells "valero " gas. ANy store that carries "valero" gas has to carry the "VALERO" logo on its sign...just thought this might help! If anyone needs to file a complaint the corporate # is [protected], it is automated so just choose the option that best fits your complaint!
scam and fraud
On 5/17/2008 my son and I stopped by Valero to fuel up our dirt bikes. In the process we always fill a can or two as extra gas for the trip. On this occasion we had an empty 5 gallon can. A brand new can, clearly labeled 5 gallons, U.S... We pumped the 91 octane premium on pump # 10. We were buying this fuel @ $4.12.9 per gallon. When the pump rolled past the 5 gallon mark, then 5.2, then 5.3... I actually looked over the can to see if it had a hole. The pump continued until 6.042 gallons. It clicked off then with the nozzle pushed down into the can so had I wanted to I could have pulled back on the boot and 'topped' this can off.
I went inside to complain but keep in mind this is California and English is the second, maybe third, language here. These crooks couldn't have understood the case I was making had I had a box of Crayolas to draw them a picture. I don't know what else to do. I searched for the Dept. of Commerce division of weights and measures but couldn't find any number that dealt with this problem. Can someone help me go after these criminals. It was bad enough when gas was a buck something a gallon but now at 4 plus it really is criminal.

Terrible customer service .. Melissa was super rude and shouldn’t be answering customer service calls! Probably will cancel my card because of her .. it’s so sad
A few months ago stopped at Valero in Rogers. Tx. Many Pumps not working. Only able to pay inside prior to pumping. Surly employees. Men’s Bathroom out of order. Women’s filthy. Other than that great🤨
8004 north mesa el paso, tx
Stored closed some days with no signage in place for customers. Refuse to sell lottery some days, don't want to be bothered with it. Customer loyalty and store profit must be declining. Seems like no supervision in place.
We received about 15 gallons of fuel from the station in Portland Texas on Saturday and it was as bad. The station took care of my sons complaint and now we have the. Bad gas in containers for disposal. Where should we take it?
Thanks

Located at 1880 Mountain View Ave, Loma Linda CA 92354 A large, deep pot hole in front of the entrance flattened my tire, on March 24, Friday morning. I noticed a tear on the side walls, and immediately went to a tire shop that day and replace it. I went to the store today, and still hasn't been fixed.
For the past three years, every time we stop at the Valero gas station in Roggen, CO. it is out of order.
There last excuse was that their water well went dry, and didn't have any water, so we we went to another gas station to buy gas and snacks.
They wont let anyone use the public bathroom unless you purchase something FIRST.
Purchased a box a cigars from the Valero gas station and over half the box has literally been eaten by bugs and has worms in them!
I leave a block away from a Valero store and I always have to wait on a worker to retrieve the item I want to purchase instead of them putting items out for purchase so I started going elsewhere
Very rude person..lady working said it's not her store and refused service..to sell me a couple power ball tickets..I believe she was racist..so I guess they have racist people working for your company.
