Outstanding Customer Service and Quality Products at Verlo - Thanks to Steve!
Steve, the salesman at Verlo, is absolutely amazing! He has an incredible amount of knowledge about the products and he is so patient. My mother returned to the store so many times that I lost count, but Steve never lost his kindness. This was my first major purchase after my husband passed away two months ago, and Steve was so understanding. He never made me feel pressured to buy anything, which I really appreciated. I'm so glad he didn't say something like "Go ahead, after what you've been through, you deserve it." Another salesperson at a different store said that to me and it made me so angry. Thank you, Steve, for not using that line as a selling point. You made this major purchase painless and I am so grateful.
I highly recommend Verlo to everyone! The quality of their mattresses is top-notch and their customer service is outstanding. In fact, we recently booked our vacation lodgings based on the fact that they had Verlo mattresses. We wanted to make sure we got a good night's sleep while we were away from home.
Overall, I had a great experience at Verlo and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you, Steve, and thank you, Verlo!
Verlo Mattress Review: The V5 King - Soft and Supportive, A Game Changer!
Me and my hubby got a new mattress from Verlo and let me tell you, it's been a game changer! The first night we slept on it, we both slept like babies and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. I was really hoping to get the V7 King mattress, but it was a bit too pricey for us, so we ended up getting the V5 instead. At first, I was a bit bummed out thinking that we had to "settle" for something with less quality, but boy was I wrong!
The V5 is just as comfortable and supportive as the V7, but with a softer feel. We like to describe it as the perfect balance between soft and hard. It's like sleeping on a cloud, but with enough support to keep our bodies aligned throughout the night. We've been telling all our friends and family about how amazing our new mattress is and how it's improved our sleep quality.
Initially, I thought it could be a bit softer, but after a few months of sleeping on it, I wouldn't change a thing. It's soft in all the right places and still provides the support we need. We wake up feeling rested and without any aches or pains that we used to have with our old mattress. We are both so happy with our purchase and would highly recommend Verlo to anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive mattress. Keep up the good work Verlo!
Verlo Mattress Review: Game-Changer for Sleep, But Watch Out for Extra Charge
I ain't been able to sleep right since high school, and I'm 35 now. But ever since I got a mattress from Verlo, I've been sleeping like a baby. It's been a real game-changer for me. The sales guy was pretty good, but I gotta say, I wasn't too thrilled about the extra charge for a matching box spring. I mean, who wants a mattress and box spring that don't match? But I almost forgot about it when the sales guy was telling me about all the different mattresses they had. Luckily, I went back for a second visit before finalizing my order, and another sales person reminded me about the mismatch. I would have been so mad if I got an odd-colored box spring! But I caught it in time, so it all worked out. The only thing that was a little weird was that the v5 mattress was on a different box spring in the store than the one I would have gotten without the up-charge. But hey, the sales experience was pretty good overall. I just wish they didn't charge extra for a matching box spring. Other than that, I ain't got no complaints.
Mixed Feelings About Verlo Pillow Top Mattress: A Review
I'm starting to think that maybe I made a mistake in choosing the pillow top mattress from Verlo. I've been sleeping on it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's the right fit for me. I'm going to give it a bit more time, but I might have to ask for an adjustment if things don't improve.
One thing that really stands out to me is the weight of the mattress. It's so heavy that it's almost impossible for one person to move it around. While I understand that you don't need to flip it, just rotating it to even out the wear is a real challenge. I wish that Verlo had made this aspect of the mattress a bit more user-friendly.
Another issue I have is that I didn't try out all the mattresses before making my purchase. I came into the store and took the little quiz, which directed me to the two most expensive options. Maybe this is just how the quiz works, but I wish I had tried out the other mattresses as well. Perhaps I would have found one that was more comfortable for me.
The salesperson told me that I should feel like the mattress is giving me a hug. While that sounded nice, it led me to choose the pillow top option, which may not have been the best choice for me. Overall, I'm still reserving judgment on my Verlo mattress, but I'm a bit disappointed so far.
Mixed Feelings About Verlo Mattress: A Review of Service and Firmness Options
Verlo is a mattress company that I have mixed feelings about. Sometimes I have a good night's sleep, but other times I wake up multiple times throughout the night. My lower back and hips tend to hurt more the longer I sleep on them. I think the firmness of the mattress needs to be different. We currently have a medium mattress, but I know that a firm mattress would be too hard. Is it possible to change it to a medium/firm? That way, it would be halfway between a medium and firm, which would be perfect for me.
Despite my issues with the mattress, I must say that the service we received when we purchased it was excellent. The delivery men were very helpful and set it up for us. However, the mattress is a bit difficult to roll out of, which is something to keep in mind.
I had planned on calling Verlo this week to discuss the firmness issue. I wanted to give it a chance to see if I could get used to it, but unfortunately, it has not improved. It actually seemed much better when we first purchased it, but it seems to be getting worse as time goes by.
My suggestion to Verlo would be to offer a medium/firm option. The medium is too soft for me, but the firm is too hard. I need something in the middle of those two. If it could be redone to a medium/firm, I think it would be perfect for me.
Overall, Verlo has its pros and cons. The service is excellent, but the mattress itself needs some work. If they could offer more options for firmness, I think it would be a great improvement.
Verlo Mattress Review: Hotter Than a Jalapeño in the Middle of Summer
I gotta say, I ain't sleeping any better on this Verlo mattress. That dang foam pillow top is hotter than a jalapeño in the middle of summer. I've tried everything under the sun to cool it down, but no dice. I reckon they oughta bring back some good ol' cotton filling to put in these mattresses. I had an old Verlo mattress for two decades and it never made me sweat like a sinner in church.
I'm thinking I might need to make some adjustments to this mattress, like getting rid of that pillow top. Sometimes I wake up with a lower backache and I reckon that's the culprit. I sure do wish I could get a Verlo mattress like the one I had before. That thing was a top of the line King mattress with denser springs in certain areas and a box spring. And I'm pretty sure it had cotton on the inside, 'cause it never made me feel like I was sleeping on a hot skillet.
I'm telling ya, they just don't make mattresses like they used to. I want a mattress like the one I had before, the one that didn't give me backaches (until it finally wore out after 20 years). Can't they just stick with what works instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with all this newfangled technology?
My suggestion to Verlo is this: put some cotton batting on top of that foam so it won't feel like I'm sleeping on the surface of the sun. That's all I'm asking for.
Verlo Mattress Review: Adjusting to the Soft Top and Size Considerations
At first, I was a bit unsure about the Verlo mattress from verlo.com. I kept rolling off the bed and couldn't sit at the end of my bed anymore. Plus, I didn't trust that the soft top would hold up over time. However, after spending three nights at a hotel last month, I realized that my body had adjusted to the new mattress at home. Once I returned, my body felt relieved and I slept better than ever before.
I've learned to adjust my placement on the bed and am no longer rolling off. I've come to the conclusion that getting a good night's sleep is more important than being able to sit on the edge of my bed. However, I am still concerned about carving valleys into the pillow top and sleeping in the middle when I'm not sleeping with my partner.
One thing I've noticed is that the queen size feels smaller with the soft top. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten a king size based on how I feel when my partner and I are both in the bed. Additionally, I don't like that the ends of my bed seem rounded and I can't sit on the edge of my bed to do my nightly routines without sliding off.
As the weather is getting warmer, I've also noticed that I'm getting hotter in bed. I wonder how this will affect the wear of the soft top and the overall condition of the mattress.
Despite these concerns, I still sleep well nightly on the Verlo mattress. Overall, I would recommend it to others, but with the caveat that they consider the size and potential issues with the soft top. Thanks for reading my review!
Verlo Mattress Review: Disappointing Foam and Backaches
At first, I was excited to try out the Verlo mattress. But as soon as I laid down, I knew something was off. The foam was too soft and I would sink in, which made it difficult for me to get comfortable. I'm not a fan of foam mattresses, and this one was no exception.
After about a month, I decided to have a comfort adjustment. It was better for a few days, but then the backaches started. Every morning, I would wake up with a sore back and it was getting worse. I gave it a few weeks, hoping it would get better, but it didn't. I started thinking about another adjustment, but I needed to know if the setup I had was as firm as it could get.
I want a mattress that is firm, without any foam to sink into. If that means losing some of the layers and feeling individual springs, then so be it. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this mattress and I'm seriously considering getting rid of it, even though it cost me $2000. I can't deal with the sinking foam anymore.
I regret ever walking into the Verlo store and being sold on the "engineered for the way I sleep design." It turned out to be a nightmare. I think my first mistake was asking for a top-of-the-line, firm mattress. I should have gone for a cheaper option without all the foam.
Overall, I'm not a happy camper. I hope Verlo can help me find a solution to my problem, or else I'll have to take my business elsewhere.
Verlo Mattress Review: A Lesson Learned and a Great Investment
There's definitely something to be said about Verlo mattresses. At first, I was a bit skeptical as I felt a strange "ledge" in the mattress that made me feel like I might roll off if I slept on my side. I even considered bringing it back for an "adjustment." However, I ended up having a series of house guests throughout the summer and fall who all slept on the Verlo mattress. It wasn't until my third and final set of guests arrived that I received some much-needed advice.
One of my guests happened to be an interior design specialist who had worked for Thomasville. She took me aside one day and asked if I knew that I had the box spring upside down. I had no idea! It turns out that shortly after purchasing the Verlo, I was diagnosed with a sensitivity to dust mites and had to take a number of measures to prevent them from accumulating in my home. I put zippered allergen barriers on each piece of furniture, including the Verlo mattress and box spring. The vinyl covers had a zipper that ran around a corner and a little printed tag that read "this side up." In following the instructions on that little tag, I had apparently reversed the box spring, causing the "ledge" in the mattress.
I'm sharing this embarrassing story with you so that if you ever encounter a similar issue, you'll know what to do. I would have bagged up the mattress (not the box spring) and returned it to Verlo for adjustment multiple times, likely without a good result. But now that I know what the problem was, I can confidently say that I am completely satisfied with my Verlo purchase.
Overall, the Verlo mattress is a great investment. It's comfortable, supportive, and made with high-quality materials. Plus, the customer service team is always willing to help with any questions or concerns you may have. If you're in the market for a new mattress, I highly recommend giving Verlo a try.
Mixed Review of Verlo Mattress: Great Sleep, but Room for Improvement
I recently purchased a mattress from Verlo and I must say, I am sleeping great! The pillows are also amazing, they provide the perfect amount of support for my head and neck. However, as a short 5 ft woman, I do have some difficulty getting in and out of bed due to the 3 inch feet. Additionally, the softness of the mattress can make it hard for me to turn over due to my age and aches and pains.
I do wish that Verlo kept records for longer than 10 years so that I could easily keep track of my purchases and prove what a great customer I am. It's also frustrating that every time I visit the store, there is a different person working and no continuity. When I call the Grafton, WI store, I want to talk to someone there, not some rotating call at another store. It just doesn't make sense to me.
One suggestion I have for Verlo is to offer a less deep mattress. As a short 78-year-old, getting on and off the bed can be quite difficult, and if I had an infirmity, I probably wouldn't be able to use it at all. Additionally, I was disappointed that the articulated XL twin beds I had purchased in the past were no longer available, and the regular mattress with an articulated frame just doesn't work the same.
Another issue I have with the mattress is the remote control. It would be helpful if the buttons were slightly raised so that they could be felt in the dark, or at least the light button. As it is now, the remote is useless in the dark. The mattress itself is also quite heavy, making it difficult for me to lift the ends to tuck in the sheets. The little barriers that keep the mattress from sliding off the frame do their job, but they also make it difficult to tuck the sheets under.
I wonder if Verlo takes into consideration the needs of real normal people of different ages and sizes when designing their products. If not, it might be a good idea to do so. And why do the mattresses have to be a foot and a half deep? It just seems like a poor design choice to me.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase from Verlo, but there are definitely some areas for improvement.
Verlo Complaints 10
Disappointing Experience with Verlo Mattress: Lumpy and Uncomfortable
I recently purchased a mattress from Verlo and unfortunately, I have not had a great experience with it. Despite having the mattress rebuilt, my partner and I are still experiencing discomfort while sleeping. The mattress is lumpy and not at all comfortable, which is disappointing considering the sales pitch we received when purchasing it.
To make matters worse, we had a defective mattress to begin with and even after it was supposedly repaired, we are still having issues. This has left me feeling quite skeptical about Verlo mattresses and their quality. I believe that if we were sold a defective mattress, we should have been given a brand new one instead of having to deal with ongoing issues.
Overall, I wish that the mattress was softer and didn't feel like we were sinking into a hole while sleeping. Additionally, I wish that we didn't have to go without a bed in order to have ours adjusted. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't live up to expectations and causes discomfort on a daily basis.
Despite my negative experience, I do appreciate the effort that Verlo put into trying to fix the issue. However, I would caution others to thoroughly research and consider their options before purchasing a mattress from this company.
Disappointing Pillow Top Mattress from Verlo: Overpriced and Uncomfortable
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with the Pillow Top mattress I got from Verlo. It hasn't really done much to improve my sleep, and if anything, the pillow feature just makes it harder to move around in bed. It's pretty annoying, to be honest. And to top it off, I paid a whopping $2100 for this thing. That's a lot of dough, especially when I could have just gone to Costco or Sam's Club and gotten something similar for a lot less. Or, if I had just waited a few weeks for Verlo's sales to kick in, I could have saved myself some serious cash. It's frustrating to think about, and it definitely keeps me up at night. I wish Verlo had been more upfront about their pricing, instead of being so deceptive. There was no negotiation, and I ended up feeling like a naive sucker. All in all, I don't think I would buy the Pillow Top model again.
Comfortable but Disappointing Durability: My Verlo Mattress Review
I recently purchased a mattress from Verlo and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. After only a few months of use, there are already noticeable "dents" where my partner and I sleep. We've rotated the mattress multiple times, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's frustrating to see our new mattress looking like it's been used for years.
Despite this issue, I will say that the mattress is comfortable. It's just a shame that it doesn't seem to hold up well over time. I'm not sure if I would recommend this product to others, as the "dents" are a pretty big issue for me.
Overall, I think Verlo has some work to do in terms of the durability of their mattresses. It's disappointing to spend a lot of money on a product that doesn't seem to last very long. I hope they can improve this aspect of their mattresses in the future.

Disappointing Sales Experience and Uncomfortable Mattress from Verlo
The mattress from Verlo is not the most comfortable one out there. It's as hard as a rock and doesn't lend itself to a good night's sleep. We were disappointed with the salesperson who sold us the mattress. They tried to sell us the most expensive mattress cover, even though they admitted to having a cheaper one themselves. To make matters worse, the salesperson didn't even know that we were offered a "free" cover if we purchased a mattress. When we called them out on it, they reversed the sale of the cover. It's clear that the communication between the factory and sales team is not good.
One thing that we did appreciate about the mattress is its weight. As my wife and I are getting older, it's becoming increasingly difficult to lift the mattress to change the sheets. However, this small benefit doesn't outweigh the discomfort we experience while sleeping on it.
Overall, we wouldn't recommend Verlo to anyone looking for a comfortable mattress. The sales experience was disappointing and the mattress itself doesn't live up to our expectations. We'll be looking elsewhere for our next mattress purchase.
Nightmare Bed: Verlo Lied About Quality, Uncomfortable and a Waste of Money
This bed is a nightmare! I can't sleep on this ROCK you sold me! I've tried everything, but sleep on the couch. We brought it back for an adjustment, but that didn't help. You should have never lied and said this was comparable to our last Verlo. It isn't. Salespeople at your other stores have confirmed. Complete waste of money. Thank you for finally asking! I've gone from a lifelong Verlo customer to telling anyone that will listen about my terrible experience.
I was really excited to get a new bed from Verlo. I've been a loyal customer for years and have always been happy with my purchases. But this time, I was really disappointed. I asked for the King Vibrance Eurotop clone, which I thought I was getting, but found out later that you lied about to make a quick sale.
The bed is so uncomfortable that I can't sleep on it. I've tried everything, but nothing seems to work. I even tried sleeping on the couch, but that didn't help either. We brought it back to the store for an adjustment, but that didn't help either. It's just a complete waste of money.
I'm really disappointed in Verlo. I used to be a lifelong customer, but now I'm telling everyone I know about my terrible experience. I wish I had never bought this bed.
Verlo Mattress Review: Sagging Bed and Poor Customer Service Experience
The bed that I purchased from Verlo (verlo.com) is already starting to sag and it's affecting my back. I'm not too happy with their customer service either. When we received the mattress, it was extremely soft and not what we ordered. We called to complain about it, but the customer service representative brushed us off and told us that we had to go through some process during our work schedules to fix the mattress that was wrong. It was frustrating because we needed a good night's sleep and we couldn't get it with the wrong mattress.
After a few more calls, we finally got in touch with the regional manager who helped us get the right mattress. However, we almost didn't get the right mattress again because the delivery guys couldn't tell which mattress was which. It was a hassle, but we finally got the right mattress and it's been better for my back.
My suggestion for Verlo is to have a stronger spring system that lasts longer. We need a mattress for a person with back issues that is super firm, but at a reasonable price. It's important to have a good quality mattress that will last for years and won't cause any back problems. Overall, I'm satisfied with the mattress that I have now, but it was a frustrating process to get there.
Verlo Mattress Review: Great Sleep, But Some Room for Improvement
I recently purchased a Verlo mattress and have been sleeping more soundly than ever before. However, I have been waking up with body aches every day. I'm hoping that this is just my body adjusting to the new foam mattress, as I have been used to sleeping on coils my entire life.
One thing that I wish was different about the Verlo mattress is the construction of the sides. I find it difficult to rotate the mattress without anything to hold onto. If the sides were built more durable, I would definitely consider choosing Verlo again when it's time to replace my mattress.
One thing that I wish I had known before purchasing a memory foam mattress is that a mattress pad heater cannot be used with it. I never have the heat turned on in my bedroom, but I do use a mattress pad heater to keep me warm at night. Unfortunately, I now have to forgo this luxury since memory foam and mattress pad heaters do not work well together.
Overall, I am happy with my Verlo mattress and would recommend it to others. However, I do think that there are some improvements that could be made to make it even better.
Disappointing Experience with Verlo Mattress: Uncomfortable and Misleading
I feel like I've been taken advantage of and disrespected as a customer. I would never recommend Verlo to anyone, and I certainly won't be buying from them again.
When I first tried out the Verlo mattress in the store, I was really impressed. It was soft and comfortable, and I felt like I was sinking into a cloud. I was so excited to finally have a good night's sleep. But when my mattress arrived, it was nothing like the one I tried in the store. It was hard and lumpy, and I couldn't get comfortable no matter how much I tried.
I decided to take advantage of the comfort guarantee and exchange my mattress for a softer one. But when the new mattress arrived, it was even worse than the first one. It was like sleeping on a pile of rocks. I couldn't believe that I had spent $2000 on something that was so uncomfortable.
I feel like Verlo has cheated me out of my money and disrespected me as a customer. I trusted them to provide me with a comfortable mattress, and they failed miserably. I would never recommend their products to anyone, and I won't be buying from them again.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Verlo. I wish I had never bought a mattress from them in the first place.
Disappointing Verlo Mattress and Hassle with Synchrony Bank Financing
Me and my husband are not happy with our Verlo mattress. It's sagging on both sides and there's a hump in the middle. We've been experiencing this for a while now and it's not getting any better. We decided to apply for 0% interest through Synchrony Bank, but it's been a hassle. The first month, we had to call for a statement. The second month, we never received the statement and got charged a $27.00 late fee. We had to call them to waive the fee and send out the statement. It's just not a good experience overall.
Our last mattress from Verlo lasted 22 years, so we were expecting the same quality from this one. Unfortunately, it's not living up to our expectations. We're hoping someone can help us out with this issue. We purchased it at 6501 W Layton Ave, Milwaukee, WI.
We suggest getting a mattress that is firm and remains firm after 3 months. This one has lost its firmness and it's not comfortable to sleep on anymore. Also, it retains body heat, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep on during hot nights. We're wondering if we can replace it with a better one.
Overall, we're disappointed with our Verlo mattress and the experience we've had with Synchrony Bank. We hope someone can help us out with this issue.
Mixed Feelings: My Verlo Mattress Review
I gotta say, my experience with Verlo was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the mattress was decent enough, but on the other hand, it just wasn't quite right for me. The pillow top was just too dang soft, and I found myself sinking into it more than I would have liked. That being said, I don't think it's necessarily a bad product - it just wasn't the right fit for me.
I will say, though, that I do wish I had gone with a different mattress. My wife has a Beauty Rest, and let me tell you, that thing is a game changer. It's just so much more comfortable and supportive than the Verlo mattress I got. I know it's not really fair to compare the two, but I can't help it - the Beauty Rest is just that good.
All that being said, I do appreciate that Verlo is trying to make a quality product. I know it's not easy to create a mattress that will work for everyone, and I think they're doing a pretty good job. I do think they could do a better job of helping people find the right mattress for them, though. Maybe more personalized recommendations or something like that.
One thing I will say is that the sales representative I worked with, Fred, was great. He was really helpful and knowledgeable, and he definitely made the whole process a lot easier. So props to him for that.
Overall, I wouldn't necessarily recommend Verlo to everyone, but I do think it's worth checking out if you're in the market for a new mattress. Just make sure you do your research and find the right one for you - and maybe skip the pillow top if you're a bit picky like me.
