My self and 2 friends recently went on a trip from vegas to the Grand Canyon , we chose this trip as they used the same picture and description of a trip we had done 5 years earlier. Firstly we ordered hot breakfast , which was cancelled due to issues with the kitchen , we were given 13 mins to get off coach get something to eat , go to toilet and get a souvenir, as the tour guide advised , this was the only stop we made in the 7 hr journey it took to get there , the guide who called her self sweet Kate asked if everyone would like to upgrade , as if we didn’t we probably not get to see the canyon as it would be a 3 mile walk and due to timescale . We all but 3 people on the coach paid. We felt we had no choice but to pay this was $20 each it had to be cash and no receipt was given , I did ask what had we paid for if we were not going to see the Canyon ? She was very rude throughout the horrendous journey on a very uncomfortable coach, and at one point told me and my friend to put a smile on our face and enjoy yourself. We spent a lot of money the 2 weeks we were there with Viator , but this trip would put me off doing so in the future .. I feel we were lied to and robbed , we certainly didn’t get the trip we paid for .
