If you want to buy car warranty DON’T BUY WARRANTYWISE! They will never pay out, I am talking out of experience and how they made me suffer! They will only pay out for little claims e.g. £20-50. When it comes to big payments like £500+ they will never pay out.
Why pay hundreds of pounds to Warrantywise for the Warranty when they wouldn’t even pay out for legitimate claims.
Experience: I bought warrantywise warranty, the highest warranty available which covers all parts, I made a few small claims and they were approved and I eventually received my money. However one day my engine malfunctioned, after taking it to the VW dealers they stated I needed a new engine. Warrantywise made dozens of excuses as to what I need to do before my claim is approved, after providing all the evidence they required. They made VW dismantle my engine costing me £1000, (promising they will pay), after 2 months of my car at VW dealers, they send me a letter and say ‘my service history is inaccurate and they have cancelled my policy with immediate effect and would not respond to me’ this is completely pathetic.
On the website it clearly says when the warranty is purchased we will check the vehicle and service information, nevertheless I have had numerous small claims approved before but now that my vehicle needed a new engine ‘my service history is inaccurate’ even though my service has been done at the VW dealers and all stamps and invoices have been provided.
They have left me to fix and pay for my vehicle which cost me £4000!
PLEASE DON’T BUY WARRANTYWISE WARRANTY! IT IS A LIVING NIGHTMARE WHEN IT COMES TO CLAIMING!
DO YOU WANT TO PAY £1000 FOR A WARRANTY THAT DON’T EVEN PAY OUT?

Dear Mr Ali,
I 100% disagree with your comments. Car for car we pay out more than any other UK warranty firm. We also publish all of our paid claims online on our website for everyone to see. Quentin Willson insists on this clarity of our plans to make sure you know exactly what you are getting when you sign up. I believe that your warranty case is currently in the hands of our solicitors and so I am not at liberty to comment in detail, however, what I can say is that I whole heatedly disagree with your comments and there are several factual inconsistencies in your comments above in relation to your claim details.
Warrantywise is proud of its reputation and monitors closely all publications made about it. Warrantywise will have no hesitation in instructing its lawyers and taking legal action in relation to any defamatory comments made about it, which are untrue.

I'm of the same opinion payed out a small door lock claim but when the thrust bearing collapsed on the clutch refused to pay out because i had mentioned in earlier claim i thought the bearing was noisy was checked by garage who couldn't find a noise but because i had mentioned i thought it was noisy it's down to wear and tear and not a valid claim...i'm not a mechanic but they think i was previously because i heard a noise a trained mechanic couldn't find, , ,
Exactly the same happened to me would not pay out when I had my claim go through they found nothing wrong with any paper work they just stated read page xx we can cancel your policy at anytime without reason and without refunding you, I will be in court soon I will let people know the outcome, lawrence whittaker is nothing but a crook after complaining so much and annoying the sales line with repeated calls I eventually got him on the phone his answer was simple I won't be going to my million pound home if I paid every claim would I what an answer this is who would beleive it?
Warrenty wise is fraud . I also reported this company to watch dog . I bought the cover for my bmw 5 series which has done 80000 miles . 6 months later when there was problem with clutch . They refused to pay even it was sudden failur . Said they don't cover worn parts . I have after doing 80000 miles which part of my car is new . All parts are worn so plz tell which part is cover . They are fraud plz don't buy . Taking them to court
They let me down . My bill was £1900 . They r fraud
I can confirm that I have never said any such thing Lele. I am still here to help ANYONE who has a problem with a Warrantywise warranty. All you need to do is email me to lw@warrantywise.co.uk.
What makes me wonder is why would anyone post comments stating "fraud" instead of contacting me directly to resolve any problems. I can assure everyone that we are certainly not a fraudulent operation and pay out literally multi millions of pounds per year in car repair bills.
Dear Warrantywise,
I was actually googling for your address to send you my Notice Before Action by registered mail when I happened upon this site.
I bought three of your warranties at once and my experience is that your pre-sales promises are false, misleading and I feel that they are dishonest. My experience is this:
You promise, for example, you warranty elements of an MOT failure- yet took so long arguing with the garage about it that I had to pay for another MOT and then you did not pay for the elements of the MOT failure.
You promise to "include the following parts, recommended by the manufacturer to be replaced in pairs as good engineering practice, when only one Part has suffered a Breakdown or Failure Due to Wear and Tear: Brake discs, brake drums, coil road springs, shock absorbers". But you do not pay for brake disks.
You promise to provide a supplement car for up to 10 days - but don't / never have.
I have now experiences of four local garages that refuse to deal with you and a lady at Kwikfit head office described you as "a nightmare" after one of their branches wrote you a letter confirming the work they had done on the car previously, buy you refused to accept it as an honest account of what they had done.
When I complained and said I would pass your behavior over the the ombudsman, your response was simply to point out that you are no longer regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They have confirmed that you are no longer authorized by them to provided regulated products and services - but were not at liberty to say what had happened.
When our Abarth 500 went into a Fiat main dealer nearly a year ago, it was found to have failed brake disks and you would not authorise a repair. The interaction between you and the main dealer took so long that we had the vehicle removed from the garage and taken to Kwikfit (you said the delay was caused by the garage).
Kwikfit have given me a printout of what they say are the 14 separate times they had to process the claim with you over a period spanning several weeks. All you have said about that is that it is not true.
When we took the same vehicle to a different garage with a seized gear lever, that garage charged us £180 for the 2 1/2 hours they spent dealing with you. You told us that we had to authorise that garage to dismantle our gearbox at a cost of £500 so that you could be sure which element of the gearbox was causing the gear lever to be stiff. You explained that although the policy you sold me for my three year old car covered all mechanical and all electrical parts, 'if I wanted to claim' it was necessary for me to spend £500 that I could not claim back to determine exactly which element of the part had failed before you would consider fixing the problem, and then the problem would not have been covered if there was a possibility that it could have been caused by wear and tear.
We took the car back to the main dealer and they said that the seized gear lever was made from two mechanical parts which needed to be replaced. They did not need to dismantle the gearbox because they were familiar with the exact fault. Although the claim was in itself covered, you said that because Fiat had changed the design of one of the two parts, and so you would not pay for any of the repair.
In January 2015 the vehicle had a split CV boot and failed its MOT. All of the repairs were undertaken by Kwikfit and the vehicle passed its MOT.
You would not accept that as evidence that the repairs had been done, so Kwikfit wrote you a letter confirming that the repairs had been done - but you would not accept that either.
When our Smart Car garage fixed the electronic door lock we had to pay them in full plus an extra £50 for their time after they told us they spent over 2 hours "being messed around by you". In the end they refused to deal with you any more then or ever again. It makes the warranty for our Smart Car that you sold us worthless. Its as if you knowingly treat the garage in a way that makes it cost prohibitive for them to deal with you.
This is my own personal experience of being a three policy Warrantywise customer.
This company is a fraudulent company taking money of people and not paying claims
