Unethical behaviour
I am writing this letter as a complaint about the service I received from the Waverley Mitsubishi dealership on Waverley in Winnipeg, 300- 1717 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba and in particular with the service manager ? and how he Personally treated me and my mom Elizabeth Sawatzky on March 15, 2016 at 1 pm.
Both Elizabeth and myself went to pick up the car. At that time we refused to pay the service fee as it was not authorized. I had talked ? the night before and he agreed to unhook the remote starter for nothing so we had a agreement that we were to come and pick up the car and work with it if something similar was to happen again.
At the time of pick up he refused to give me the keys and walked into the service room where Elizabeth’s car was and stood by the car and refused and say pay your bill or I am going to call the cops. I have the keys and there is nothing you can do. He found out that my mom had another set and told my mom to go, go with the car but I am not handing over the keys and said then you can sufferer the consequences. I turned to my mom and said do not drive that car anywhere. I demanded the keys and said this is her vehicle and not his and we will deal with the payment issues with head office. He dangled my keys in front of me and then proceeded to put them in his pocket pacing around the service area.
These are the facts that he stated to me. That is was because my mom is elderly and does not drive the car. So he was discriminating against elderly people right from the start.
I asked him if he would treat his mom this way he stated that he did not care, and to get out of the building and we are never allowed back in, nor is this car ever going to be serviced at any Mitsubishi dealership in Winnipeg and that he would make sure of that. I told him that it is a formal contract that Elizabeth has a warranty and also the extended warranty for that car and he would be breaching the contract and did not have the right to make this decision
He continued to tell me to get the f*** out of here and the language was actually quite bad.
At the end he walked over to my mom said sorry here are your keys and I am sorry that that is your daughter. Crying at the time she said to him I am proud of my daughter she stands up for me.
When she was driving out he stood in front of me stared me in the face and said You know you are lucky you are a woman as I would f***en punch you in the face. I asked him if this was a threat and he said yeah and get the f*** out of here you stupid and you and your mom and that vehicle is never allowed in any dealership. I turned to another employee who over heard the whole thing. This employee actually looked scared.
I told him I was going to go to the cops he said you to me again. And repeated saying to me get the *&^% out of here.
I was shaking, shocked and scared for my life at this time so I went with Elizabeth and filed a police report at the Winnipeg Police Station at 2321 Grant Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, against him. I have a claim number and I am willing to pass this information along to you if you need it.
The police officer advised me to write you and also go to the better business.

Threatened me to the point where I now feel scared as he has Elizabeth’s address, my phone number and name.
Told me to $%^ off, and that he did not care about us as a customer.
We sent a registered mail to the head office of Mistsubishi and also contacted via emai the general Manager at Waverley location.
They are backing up their staff and basically said it is a he said she said situation and nothing can be done.
