I placed an order on December 3rd for couches that said they would be delivered on Dec 6th thru the 10th. Recieved an email saying it was on backorder. I called and the women said it's available and be shipped on Dec 12th. Recieved another email stating that it was on back order again. I called again and she said she needs to reach out to the vendor. They said it was on back order. My husband was charged twice for the order one was refunded and the other stayed. I called since we didn't recieved the order yet or it hasn't been shipped and the women stating said that they don't charge us until the order has been shipped. The next women I spoke to said she doesn't know why she told me that. She said that wayfair has 7 days to ship the item and charge the card and after the 7th day if it isn't shipped they charge the card anyway. So not only am I getting lied to about my couches being available when I placed them and I was lied to by the customer service agent saying it would be shipped on Dec 12th and it was available but I was also lied to about how they are supposed to charge my husband's card for the order. The women also stated that they oversell items all the time and don't have the inventory even though it says they do when placing the order. Saying something is available on your website when it isn't, is false advertising.
The women said I couldn't get anything for the inconvenience either which is the worst customer service I have ever recieved.
Desired outcome: Discount on my order for the inconvenience
