I placed an order for a bunk bed for my son on December 21, 2023, intending to have it for the Christmas season.
Unfortunately, Wayfair canceled the order on January 8, 2024, despite the bunk bed still being available for purchase on their website. After contacting customer service, I was provided with a coupon to reorder the bunk bed at a similar price.
However, the bunk bed never arrived or was shipped. Subsequent attempts to reorder the bunk bed were also unsuccessful, and despite multiple contacts with customer service, including on January 29th and February 5th, no resolution was reached.
I was promised an email within 24 hours as part of an investigation, which never materialized. When I requested to speak with a manager on February 5th, I was transferred to multiple representatives and ultimately received no assistance. The situation is exacerbated by the fact that I cannot simply cancel the order and find a replacement, as the original deal I purchased is no longer available within my price range. As a result, my 6-year-old son has been sleeping on a mattress for the past 2 months.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and an action to correct the situation
