I have a problem with Vuma Tel. I manually paid my account on the 1st of February 2024 and my service was still suspended. I usually pay via debit order but because the particular account did not have funds, I did a manual payment using the link they provided via payfast. Since 06/02/2024 to date as on the 23/02/2024 i have been querying about this instead I'm taken from pillar to post without activation or refund.
I have sent POP and screenshots of my bank statement showing transaction of the payment made. The silly thing is that one of the agents sent me a screenshot showing me that the money was received but they failed to allocate the payment to the account, after 10 days i requested for a refund since it was already mid month but they still fail to log a refund.
As a result I now lost my job because I was working as a remote agent for a US company, and one of the requirements is having a stable internet connection which I didn't have since the 1st of February my contract was terminated on the 16/02/2024 as I was busy making an excuse about connection. I have attached the POP, transaction history from my account and proof that it shows on their side yet they failed to allocate payment to the account and still fail to refund me
The Vuma tel or WebAfrica which is a service provider both don't have contact numbers on a whatsapp chat
Claimed loss: I lost my Job
Desired outcome: Please refund me and if possible for them to give me a job since they also provide customer service and sales positions remotely. Maybe when I work for them they will be able to make sure that my connection is up to date.
