If I could give them 0- I would
If I could give them 0- I would. Very disapponting company -they could not close a paper bag let alone a mortgage. After 5 months of no progress, even with a supposed senior processor. Untrustworthy and will cost you money in the time they waste. The do not know the meaning of service. You have to chase everyone-you would think that people who work on commission would have a vested interest to close the loan so they get paid. The supposed no cost is really costing the consumer on saving money by closing their loan.
Refinancing my loan with WesLend Wholesale Financial was surprisingly great
Refinancing my loan with WesLend Wholesale Financial was surprisingly great. I had a horrible experience in the past with another company. WesLend Wholesale Financial is professional, efficient, and was caring about my questions and concerns. I was expecting complications, but they made the process uncomplicated from the application phase to closing of the loan. I could not ask for more. I am so grateful for the experience. I highly recommend the company, and their loan officer, who was exceptional. The processor did an excellent job with her part in my loan experience.
Mortgage Advisor ***, *** and Senior Loan Processor *** were all a pleasure to work with. They were attentive to our requests and prompt with replies. We would highly recommend Lenox Home Loans for all refinancing needs. *** and

I have probably refinanced > 15 times over the past 39 years of home ownership. My very first mortgage back in [year] was at an interest rate of [interest rate]%. With all these refinancing I have done, I can honestly say this last refi with WesLend Wholesale Financial was the best experience I have ever had. The team at WesLend Wholesale Financial did a fantastic job of taking the pain out of my refi. They were very organized, laying out in great detail exactly what was needed to process my refi to minimize delays and frustrations. Great job by the Team at WesLend Wholesale Financial.

The team of *** and *** was a blessing. They worked hard to process four refinances for my family. They always kept us informed at every step of the process and that communication was crucial when it seemed like refinances were going to be unsuccessful. I highly recommend this team and Lenox Financial.

I had the most intelligent conversation with WesLend Wholesale Financial today. The first first intelligent person I have been able to find who was willing to see the Big picture for me and help me make the Best decision in my situation.I recommend WesLend Wholesale Financial to anyone needing facts, and true options,I have been very disappointed with the people we now find in positions they are not qualified for. I can't warn other consumers strongly enough
I can't warn other consumers strongly enough. DO NOT seek a loan with this company. We applied for a loan in July and were strung along for 5 months, finally closing at the end of January. Along the way, they requested the same documents more than once, lost documentation and we had a terrible time getting a timeline. At closing, the closing agent presented one document that was for another couple and address. Trying to sign up for online banking had been impossible. When someone finally got back to me, we were told our loan was sold to a Mr. C at a PO Box in Texas. Shady is an understatement. DO NOT do business with this company!
I rate my experience with WesLend Wholesale Financial as GREAT
I rate my experience with WesLend Wholesale Financial as GREAT. That is because their team was very easy to talk to and explained refinance options in simple terms. I also rate the experience this way because they took into consideration my confessing that I did not shop for mortgagors and dealt only with WesLend Wholesale Financial from the very beginning. As a result, closing costs were much lower than I expected, and the interest rate they initially quoted was also honored. Communication with all involved staff at WesLend Wholesale Financial was very good, but could have been a little more timely at some points during the process. Still, the customer support overall is very good from start to finish.

I am giving them a 5-star rating, this was my first time refinancing my mortgage and John Smith (my mortgage advisor) who I found to be very professional and knowledgeable answered all of my questions and explained easily how the process works. My senior loan officer also explained very easily how long the process takes and both were able to give me timelines as to how long the process from start to finish would take. I found that both responded back in a timely manner in regards to my emails or they would call me to make sure I received my answers. My refinance of my mortgage, from the beginning to the end only took 4 1/2 weeks! I would highly recommend this company!
I have been in the financial industry for 38 years and I can honestly say this was THE best experience I have personally had with a lender
I have been in the financial industry for 38 years and I can honestly say this was THE best experience I have personally had with a lender. The team I worked with with knew what they were saying without hesitation and were very responsive. The process was flawless on the part of Lenox/WesLend. The hold-ups were things like my employment verification not getting answered. No fault of Lenox at all. They explained each detail of the process and what I needed to provide. The online process was so easy to complete and streamlined everything. I talked with the loan officer liked I had known him for years. About biking and the vacation area I was headed to for vacation. Very nice. I would highly recommend Lenox to anyone looking for a mortgage.
I wish I had looked here first and read reviews
I wish I had looked here first and read reviews. We started a refinance process with Lenox Financial on 9/8. We have excellent credit, have provided every document requested (some, more than once), paid for an appraisal and been extremely patient. We have contacted our Senior Loan Officer for updates many times, because she does not contact us without prompting. They have had to extend the rate lock once already and even had to pull a second credit report because they have taken so long to close. I have called the corporate office and tried, more than once, to speak to the supervisor of our Loan Officer, to no avail. I would warn anyone wanting a loan to look elsewhere. It has been OVER 4 months now and we are still waiting on these people!
Jozynne Marbas was unlike any Loan Processor I have ever encountered in the 29 years Ive been a homeowner
Jozynne Marbas was unlike any Loan Processor I have ever encountered in the 29 years Ive been a homeowner. To say she went the extra mile, to help me get through this process is a huge understatement! She helped me where most others would have just tossed me aside and gone to another client. Her personal attention and caring for me and my situation was unlike any I have ever encountered, not only with a home refinance, but in any personal business transaction I have ever made. Lenox Financial Mortgage has an exceptionally amazing person on their team and if I ever need to go through the refinance process again, not only will I come back to Lenox, I will seek her out personally, because I cant imagine ever working with anyone else but her! All I can think of to say as I close is, THANK YOU JOZYNNE, YOU ARE AMAZING!
Literally the worst customer service I have ever received in my life
Literally the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Everyone that touches our file screws something up, then lies about it or has the manager cover their [censored] so no one has to take any accountability. We started this process May 30th. FILE IS STILL NOT CLOSED. Lori, Shawn, Armando and Jocelyn are the worst people to have on your file. I've never dealt with such incompetence. We keep being lied to and it's quite frustrating. They keep stringing us along with no intention of closing the loan. Trying to get someone on the phone is a joke. No one returns phone call or e mails. They refuse to answer simple questions. The worst mistake was choosing them to refinance our house. Fully intend on filing a formal complaint and going after them for the PMI and interest we've had to pay, when we were assured this would be done in JULY.
I started my refinance process July 31st of 2020 and it's now November 25th and I still have no answer or update on where I am in the process
I started my refinance process July 31st of 2020 and it's now November 25th and I still have no answer or update on where I am in the process. The person helping me was great in the beginning once he got me to sign all the documents I have heard from him a couple of times and that is only after I've contacted him several times. He seems like a very nice guy but he never has an answer says he'll get back to me and never does. Whenever I've been asked for documents I Supply them the same day or within the next day and would expect the same service back however we have not gotten that. I've asked them to provide me an answer with weather they will be able to refinance my home or if I need to go with another company and I still get no answer. Even when I call and email the company directly nobody replies. I'm beginning to think this is a scam and ready to go elsewhere.
I wish I had looked here first and read reviews
I wish I had looked here first and read reviews. I can't warn other consumers strongly enough. DO NOT seek a loan with this company. We started a refinance process with Lenox Financial on 9/15. We have excellent credit, have provided every document requested (some, more than once), and been extremely patient. Closing was promised for no later than Dec. 23rd and finally received clear to close Jan 23rd 2021. After every excuse in the book. Important docs were missing during signing of paperwork (Wiring of funds instructions) even after I had asked them 4-5 times for. Once we received information, we got multiple documents with different Escrow numbers and address to wire the money to. The loan officer like no big deal and aggressive. It's a big deal when its your money. We ended up canceling the loan within the 3 day recession period and we harassed for days to just send the money. We have since went with another company and will be closing in 10 days total time frame.
This business is a horrible joke, that is not funny in the least
This business is a horrible joke, that is not funny in the least. I submitted a refi application and was working with Kaveh. I was told it was all good, signed disclosures and then was told it was denied. I spoke to Kaveh and he said it was a mistake in underwriting and that he was working with his boss, [Boss's Name], to fix it. I said ok. For two weeks I was waiting for an appraisal and every time I spoke to Kaveh he asked me to give him "two hours" and he would call me back. I kept having to call him. Finally, today, I lost all patience and called [Boss's Name]. I was informed at that time that I do NOT have an active loan at all and that "It was a good thing an appraisal was never ordered or you would be out more money." TWO WEEKS! TWO WEEKS I have waited and been lied to every day, multiple times each day! Please choose another company to work with as this one seems to have less than scrupulous employees who have no problem being deceptive and outright lying to their clients!

I spoke with Kiley S**** today Wednesday 12/22
I spoke with Kiley S today Wednesday 12/22. Supposedly he is a SENIOR loan officer with 16 years of experience. He sent me my Loan estimate. I could not get any information from him like other companies about what he could do for us. When I asked him about appraisal costs and interest rates, he said I will go over that when your application comes back from underwriting. On Tuesday he text me and said the application went to underwriting it should be back in a few hours. I never heard anything until Wednesday he emailed the application to me. When I called him to discuss it, I was asking some basic questions, (sorry I do not do this every day) his response was, this stuff is common sense. I said now you are going to insult me. I could not believe this is coming from someone who is supposed to have good customer service in his line of work. Then he said what I was looking for was on page 1 or maybe 2, I am not sure. I could not find it. He said several times, I do not know what you are looking at but its right there. He said on page 3…, I said wait a minute is it 1,2 or 3. He said, there are 4 pages to a loan Estimate! Apparently, there are, too bad you, do not know, what information is on what page. The estimate is a fantastic deal "if" it really does close. According to these other posts Your company has issues. Your customer service sucks. He said when I get home I will email or call or take a picture UNDERLINE, HIGH LIGHT, BOLD PRINT, WHAT YOU, ARE TRYING TO FIND. I said so now you are going to call me back so you can insult, me? He said yeah okay. So, when he got home, he did email what he promised. I was very humiliated. If you talk to me like this now what will the service be like moving forward. Sorry, I will be doing my business with ***. Thanks for your time guys.

After them receiving payment of my appraisal all contact pretty much stopped I have no idea where I'm at in the process of my refinance
After them receiving payment of my appraisal all contact pretty much stopped I have no idea where I'm at in the process of my refinance. I can no longer get ahold of my loan officer even after numerous phone calls and emails. I can't even get ahold of anyone in any department. Not being able to get ahold of anyone is why I'm refinancing my loan in the first place. Now here we are at the near the end of my refinance and now Lenox is even worse then the last company I was with. Said there wouldn't be any closing cost fees but when I seen the docs that were sent to there has been $12,000 in fees that came out of no where.
I spoke with ***, Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer for the company. He was initially very responsive to my online request for info on March 5. He called me that same evening of the request. He said he would contact me the next day once he heard back from the lock department about rates and once he could get me a quote. I have all this in writing per his email. He took personal info (SSN, DOB, address, etc) and I provided him a mortgage statement and home insurance proof he requested. I spoke with him the next day and he said he was still waiting on the lock department to get me into a no cost mortgage and should contact me within the hour. Since that time I've reached out daily by phone (leaving VM) and emails. I even tried to call the main 888 phone number on the website hoping to speak with someone from the company to voice my displeasure with providing personal information and not even receiving a single quote for a new refinance, however, I was directly routed to the same VM as before, ***. The 888 # was only automated, I had no option to speak to a person. They say customer service is their top priority but if that were the case then I would expect superior communication, responses to email and feedback, especially after providing them personal information. I have no idea how they will use or share this information and now I am very skeptical of the company itself and if it is even a legitimate business. It would appear that my business was not wanted, even though I am a highly qualified for the anticipated loan.
I started a refinance process with Weslend Financial/Lenox Home Loans about 2 months ago, per their advertised "No Closing Cost" refinance program: https://weslend.com/no-closing-cost-home-loan/ Disclosures on the program: https://weslend.com/disclosure/ The process started out wonderfully, the disclosures lined up and seemed to be correct. Upon each subsequent disclosure, their lender credits continued to decrease, thus no longer making it a "no closing cost" refinance. I asked multiple times about why this is happening, and was told that it will be handled and fixed by closing time. Per the pre-closing disclosures, that were required to be signed, the credits were still not fixed. I asked to speak to a manager, I was given: ***. After some discussion, he agreed to fix the issue. I received a new disclosure that was still not correct, and then he became upset with me and would/could not explain the costs. Multiple times I asked for clarification and how the numbers were the way they were. Multiple times he verbally assured me it was correct per the advertising, but with no real information on the costs. I then asked for a break down on the numbers, of which I still received no breakdown, but I received an explanation of "there are back office costs" that Weslend covers. Of which, those are not listed on the disclosures to me. I have been ignored after my last email asking them to "please, please, please explain to me" the detailed numbers of the situation. I have stopped the process with Weslend and have exactly what I want with another organization. However, that does not fix the problems that Weslend/Lenox will cause with other consumers.
I submitted all the requested documents to refinance my home loan on 7/29 and received a rate lock confirmation
I submitted all the requested documents to refinance my home loan on 7/29 and received a rate lock confirmation. To date WesLend Wholesale Financial claims it is still in processing. However, at least 2 other mortgage refi companies with processing times of 14 and another advertising funding within 20 calendar days claim there is no way that WesLend Wholesale Financial can fund my refi. I suspect it will never be funded since the company would lose money on the contract. I have a signed contract with WesLend Wholesale Financial that they have not honored and they claim week after week that it will be completed soon. *** is my loan officer. On Monday, September 21, 03:36:35 PM PDT, *** wrote: "Yes, by the timelines of the teams, We are 1 week away from approved.". Yet even today there has been no progress in the status of my loan application.
I have been trying to do a refinance with this company since the end of July
I have been trying to do a refinance with this company since the end of July. Not much has been done up to this point. They contacted me the other day saying I had a lien on my house from the original loan 20 years ago and have since not been helpful at all. I was told I must deal with and fix the issue as they will not. When I told them I have refinance 2 times in the past and explained the law to them they still refuse to help. If a mortgage is refinanced, the original lien holder must be paid in full then the new company files a lien. Even with that they still are not helping. Almost a quarter year has gone by and no refinance. Last I heard it could be another 6-8 weeks, and that was before this lien issue. How can a simple refinance take 3-6 months? This company is a fake. I also saw what they valued my home at and that was almost $100,000 less than it's value. Again, fake!

I entered the "Fast Track" refinance program with Lenox Financial, DBA Weslend Financial August 28
I entered the "Fast Track" refinance program with Lenox Financial, DBA Weslend Financial August 28. I was strung along for four months when I paid for the home appraisal that was to be reimbursed at the completion of the refinance. In January they were no closer in completing the loan with no end date in sight. Weslend Financial, Mortgage advisor was also frustrated saying he was going to leave the firm...and that he felt bad and would reimburse me for my appraisal cost of $525.00 and even offered the name of another lender. I also spoke with Weslend Financial, owner, who was also apologetic...they just had too much business. This certain looked like a bait at switch. I qualified for the "Fast Track: due to my excellent credit...income etc. After 5 months I needed to move on. But again I was promised a refund as I did everything I was required to do very timely. Just because they have too much business doesn't mean I should suffer as they promised a fast process...5 months is unreasonable and I feel they should not penalize me financially because of their failure to perform. Thank you!
I began a mortgage refinance 7/17
I began a mortgage refinance 7/17. The first loan officer (John Doe) gave us a closing date of 8/31, which is on our initial paperwork. When that date came and went, I reached out to him and was unable to get any response by phone or email. I gave him highly sensitive and personal information and he would not respond to my calls or emails. After multiple complaints, I filed a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com on 9/7. ( Complaint ID # [protected]) We were then reassigned to Jane Smith, who said he would expedite our loan and advised me that we did not need to pay the October mortgage payment. I followed his advise and closed the case with ComplaintsBoard.com. Unfortunately, I have had that same experience with Jane that I had with the original agent. Now I am again getting an apology for dropping the ball, saying that he did not have me in his system since he did not start the loan. This loan was started 7/17. It was approved on 9/9. I have sent a total of 42 emails and called more times than that. I need this company to process the loan. I am worried that they have our SS#'s and other sensitive info, and that we are now behind on our mortgage due to their negligence.
We have been in the process of refinancing our existing home loan since 5/11 with no end in sight
We have been in the process of refinancing our existing home loan since 5/11 with no end in sight. The Lenox Financial promise of "30-45 days to close" is a flat out lie - even for the most complex loans, 138 days is extraordinary. In email communications, our Sr. Loan Processor indicated she is "overwhelmed". They are clearly short-staffed and the customer pays for their delays. Multiple errors in documents we've received indicate poor attention to detail. Communication is inconsistent at best and now we've had TWO hard inquiries on our credit report - the second of which we were not notified of. Apparently our first credit report "expired", and we were not asked for consent (or even warned prior to) for the second. We have attempted to contact a supervisor by phone and email numerous times with empty promises to return calls and full voicemail boxes unable to take messages. Today we were informed that Lenox has "suspended lending" after FEMA declared Yolo County a disaster area. We are not in the impacted area and were not told a suspension of our loan was a remote possibility. Nor were we given any supplemental information regarding what this means for our processing timeline. Our loan officer, in writing, told us our loan would close by the end of July. That was two months ago. If our refinance was completed when promised, the issue of being in a disaster area would be non-existent. We have spent hours collecting, notarizing, and submitting documents to Lenox as quickly as possible to keep the process moving, only to deal with excuses and delays on their end at every turn. We have spent money out of pocket on inspections and documents. I am SHOCKED that this company has an A+ rating. Reading other reviews it is clear that Lenox's poor business practices are systemic. Lenox Financial needs to own up to their failures in false advertising, improper staffing, providing satisfactory customer service, adequate and timely information, and a transparency in process.

I had the most intelligent conversation with *** today. The first first intelligent person I have been able to find who was willing to see the Big picture for me and help me make the Best decision in my situation.I recommend *** to anyone needing facts, and true options,I have been very disappointed with the people we now find in positions they are not qualified for. Finding *** was a true blessing for me, and a relief that I now understand my own situation, and am satisfied I am now making the correct decision for me
Great service with friendly, knowledgable representatives! A pleasure to work with!
I had a very pleasure experience. *** was professional, friendly and down to earth and was very accessible when I had questions and concerns. He also gave very clear instructions and information for me to get through my refinance process.
My original contact was informative and a great guide through the entire process. Even when my loan moved to another area in the process, he stayed involved and made sure I was understanding everything coming my way. I highly recommend this company, the team was great all around. He gave sound advice that has put me in a very comfortable financial position going forward thanks to refinancing.
