I had a small emergency 1/15/25. My right jaw was swelling and had some pain. I went in person to the Hemet location near where I live and have gone there before for service. The receptionist said they might be able to help me if I wanted to wait. I asked the simple question, approximately how long would the wait be? My answer was , "she had no idea because all dentist were really busy" :-( Since I had things to do, I asked her if I COULD MAKE AN APPOINTMNT FOR THE NEXT MORNING? She said she had an opening at 11:00 am.
Soooo, I came back the next morning 1/16/25 at 10:30 to make sure I was not late and could fill out the three pages of paperwork. So I waited and at 11:25 am, I went back to counter and asked the receptionist if there was anything wrong with my 11:00 am appointment since they were running late for my appointment and did nothing to let me know :-(
The receptionists went back to where the dentists are working and then she returned and said there was two other patients in front of me before they can get to me :-( So I asked ...HOW LONG DO YOU THINK THAT WILL BE? her answer was SIR, SHE DOES NOT KNOw HOW LONG THAT WILL BE BECAUSES THE DOCTORS ARE VERY BUSY TODAY :-( So I asked her
"why do you take so may appointments knowing the doctors are always busy?" She said just a minute sir and she went into the big wheels office next to the receptionist counter. Out comes a big man with a mask on and he started on me right away, They have no idea how long the doctors will take so they can not tell me how long I will have to wait for my appointment. So I asked him ...
Why do I make an appointment for if they have no idea if they can honor that time? I said to him.. "so all these people in the waiting room and there had to be 20 people or more ,are also 45 minutes or more late like me? (maybe not all were patients?) He again said " HE HAD NO IDEA HOW LONG THE DOCTORS WILL TAKE BEFORE THEY CAN TAKE MY 11:00 am APPOINTMENT" :-( Since I had a 1:00 pm appointment that I will be late for if I continue to wait with no idea when I will get to the doctor and then have no idea how my SWOLLEN JAW that I have waited two days to see a doctor will take ... I just shook my head and walked out :-(

Recommendation: I suggest when you make an appointment, you ask them will they be on time ???
