Repossession on car
How can I get my car back due to a repossession report
It was repossession today at 2:30am. By a white heavy set man. He wouldn't get me any information about my car and etc.
I would like some one to call me ASAP or response please.
The towed truck driver won't give me anything about the repo or tell me anymore about the repo today @2:30am. No paperwork, no card, or anything unprofessional.

Car financing
Am Edwin Sewankambo a former client with a RAV4 loan that I did Service for a full year while i was using it. Coming to the second year of my servicing this loan I did experience issues with getting a new sticker from the DMV where they needed me to ascertain that this car was registered in my names it is when I got to know that the car I all along serviced was not in my names. Still then I continued to service my loan as I raised my complaint to Westlake finance but to no avail. until I requested to pull out of the entire deal being that I could not go ahead to pay for the car that was not in my names and we agreed a refund and more so NOTE: never to have my credit affected because it was never my fault, I was as servicing my own on time. I high they agreed to do. It is only now on several attempt to get a new car it is reflected that there is repossession on my credit report. This is abuse and breach of agreement. I tried severally to call to rectify this but to no avail only to be tossed around. Am left with no option but refer the case to my lawyer.
Desired outcome: Either the my credit report is cleaned or you finance the car I want because am failing to get the car I want.
2017 Nissan Versa
Westlake Financial took over my auto loan from American Financial in March 2023 I was told by an agent that my auto warranty will still be honored. I received a email later telling me that they won't. I contacted them about it. I was transferred to different 3 different departments and placed on hold so long that you get disconnected. This happened about 3 different times. You cannot pick what part of the contract the you choose to honor. I can't talk to anyone to solve this problem.

Suv I got from American Car Center
I completely was done paying for my suv and just last Friday I let my daughter use my Hyundai Tucson and it was repossessed from her apartments. I clearly see I need to get a lawyer because Westlake is doing too much with people cars, I've also heard they not even honoring the people that had warranty on their vehicles or giving us our title. How you come along and change the clause of a contract that we don't even have with them is ridiculous.
Desired outcome: I want my suv back and my title to it.
Illegal repossession
I bought a 2015 chevy malibu from an auction at griffith towing back in december 2022. I have a title with my name on it and there is no lienholder. On sunday june 19, 2023 westlake had my car repossessed and i called them 5 times on monday june 20, 2023 and every single time i was on the phone with someone for 30 minutes or so they would hang up on me for no reason. I had to miss work bc i didnt have a vehicle to get there. I still dont have my car back, i am on hold with the company that towed as i type this. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. I have a meeting with an attorney later this afternoon to see what my options are.

I just bought Nissan Altima 2017 for like a week ago from a dealership called PHOENIX AUTO COLLECTION and it turns out that the vehicle has transmission issue and the transmission should be replaced and I went back to them to change the car or help me out but they refused and I have a warranty on it but when I called the warranty companie they told me that the warranty gonna cover the car 30 days after you buy it that means the probleme was already in the car so bisacally it’s a fraud and now I can’t go to my work because of the problame in the car so how I’m I gonna pay for it

Auto finance
My husband totaled our vehicle out back in January of this year. At the time our car was financed through American Financial. Our insurance paid the vehicle off a few weeks before Westlake Financial took over. My insurance company sent me emails stating that payment had been sent to pay off the vehicle. Westlake took over and sent me an email to setup an account. I was wondering why so I set the account up. Once I login it is showing a balance of over $6000. 00. I contacted them through their site attaching all emails. No response a week later I am receiving collection calls from them. I explained to the collector I don’t owe a balance. They put me on hold every time and never come back to the phone. Now my insurance company is contacting me say they paid the vehicle off but never received the title for it

Car loan
My son Corey Cole purchased a car through TLC car company in Roebuck SC he had purchased the car to me because I could not get approval at that time I had two cars in my name Sandra Grard we later learned that TLC had lied to them by telling them that my son was retired my son is only 27 and he only has SSI for an income. We drove the car off the lot and the oil light came on I was in the process of returning the rental car I had which was about three miles down the road we got the car as they were closing I then went to Walmart about a mile away and bought oil and put it in the car I drove about a mile and the oil light was on again so I put another quart of oil in the car and drove home about 12 miles I happened to run into mike a guy from TLC at a local grocery store and proceed to tell him what was happening with the car he told me to bring it to the local machine shop I can't remember the name and they proceed to take all my paper work and days later they told me that there was an upper and lower thingy wrong with the car I said oh I figured the motor was bad as my late husband was a mechanic days later after this TLC told me that the motor had to be replaced so we said ok how long they said it would probably be a week a month passed and still no car we called Westlake to just cancel the loan they said they would send it be processed we had then waited no response from west lake and called them back it had not been sent so they sent it again and then again no response called them back got the same response that it had not been sent we asked to speak to a manager got hung up on repeatedly and one day sat on hold for hour and still no manager then I went to TLC to ask for proof that we had not had possession of the car and they told me that they reported the car as abandoned when they knew we were trying to cancel this loan I shook my head and walked out I needed the proof to give Spartanburg County taxes department so as to my knowledge west lake has come and taken the car and sold it

Repossession of american car center vehicles where the owner has not defaulted.

Westlake Portfolio Management took over American Car Center's Outstanding Leases and is handling the payments.
A tow truck pulled up at a place of employment with the intent of repossessing a previously American Car Center car that is within 2 months of being paid off except for the residual. They were unable to enter the parking area and so that vehicle is safe for today.
*Payments have been made bi-weekly per the contract and nearly paid off.
*A payment has not been missed or even been made late.
*Warranty has been canceled per Westlake Financial.
*Westlake changed the terms of payment and residual.
*Where are the car titles?
*Why are vehicles being repossessed when the payments are NOT DELINQUENT?
*Westlake is ruining credit scores for no good reason.
It is unconscionable for a company to take advantage of people who could get credit but proved to not be a credit risk after all. First, American Car Center took advantage, now Westlake is taking advantage, and these vulnerable people are about to wind up with nothing after making 3, 4, or even 5 years worth of payment.
Shame on Westlake Financial Services and all of their subsidiaries for treating the former American Car Center customers like criminals who can't/won't pay their bills.
If there is an easy outcome to the situation, Lease let me know.

This company needs to stop. They call everyday from the time I wake up from the time I go to bed from different numbers all the time and I have everything on voicemail because now I don't answer my phone. When I signed up for a loan from USA autos it's a loan it should not be a debt collector calling me when I was making my payments and then when I found out they close and I couldn't make my payments. Because there was nothing sent out from the firm saying they took over the loans and this is your account number and I can't even get my account number to pay it so I am in fear of my car being repossessed. But the harassment and telephone calls from time you wake up from the time you go to bed it's ridiculous.

I got my car a year and a half ago in indiana was in an accident before me was cool at first then having problems like tires, brakes, battery 3 tire sensor.. Really nothing off the car my car note is 508 and my interest rate is like 27. Sum and only 98$ went towards my car and the rest of it went towards the interest.. So for the past 2 years I paid 7000 towards the interest.. Just recently I had called them to ask them why my car loan haven’t went down the lady had a attitude when I was asking why can’t the put that 7000 towards my car so I can get a different car when I said 9000 because I didn’t know what it was at first she said “actually it’s 7000” like she was happy that ain’t going towards my car.. So I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor and she transferred me but I was on hold for a hour.. So the next step I went and found don hankey the owner number and called him myself.. He had one of his people call me to help me so they can help me saying I could get a new car all I had to do is find a lot that go through them.. Then I found one then the person said I had to pay off the rest of the loan throwing me saying the down payment on the new one is 8000.. Im trying to get out of this feel trapped.. I will be calling don hankey again..
Obligation to preserve my rights as a consumer and first time buyer.
On Mar 19, 2022 I received a settlement for the Total Loss of an 2008 Acura RL financed by Westlake Financial. I visited EchoPark dealership in Grand Prairie, TX. With $3,000 down, I was able to get Westlake to Finance the loan for my car with low credit. I I purchased GAP coverage and Platinum extended warranty. And drove home. The next six months I was unemployed, struggling to make appointments, therapy, laser treatment, and paying $535.00 a month for a KIA that I couldn't afford but needed for work. Six months later in Oct. I had to pay 3000 for repossession. On Oct 31,2022, I was involved in a Auto Accident that caused the car to become totaled. Both airbags deployed on the drivers side. I suffered a temporary loss of sensation in my right leg. Medics attended then FortWorth Police Dept. Detained me. Being detained within County detention, I never had the opportunity to get legal assistance, make Insurance Claim and Personal Injury Claim, or check on my vehicle which was towed with valuable personal property, car audio accessories, and $5,000 wheels and tires. Unfortunately I was not released until April. Which is why I am just making contact with the proper sources. The Gap has requested all necessary documents with estimate of damamges etc. Farmers Insurance as well. My car was not repossessed from me. My 2020 KIA OPTIMA financed by WESTLAKE FINANCE has a claim. I expected WESTLAKE to clearly see the car was involved in a accident. So now I dont understand why my rights of Due Process were denied. The Damages to the vehicle needed to be assessed, documented, etc,. As well as my personal property. Which should have been sold and added.
Desired outcome: Claim is filed with WESTLAKE FINANCIAL INSURANCE. Estimates on damages from accident. Property value assessed, Loan is resolved and I can get assistance replacing my car. Since I am without transportation.
Your refusal to re-issue my check
I am Vincent Walker and I am seriously having problems of epic proportion of getting a replacement check for the $7,140.12 owed to me by your company. The original check, numbered #20083, was void and could not be cashed. Since then, this has been a damn seven [7] month odyssey of getting someone in your organization to put ink on a pen, put the pen to paper and rectify this situation by sending that replacement check.
I served over twenty years in the military and if someone in my organization, performed in such a despicable manner they were remedially trained or discharged. The abysmal treatment has me seriously questioning just how other clients are treated. There is desire to attend to customer satisfaction. There is no drive to make sure the customer is pleased and comfortable with their business dealings. There is a feeling, such as I am experiencing of you lowering my pants. Bending me at the waist over some shabby piece of furniture and whispering, if I preferred sand or crunchy peanut butter as the lubricant.
No one should have to endure the treatment I am receiving from your organization. You employ a phone bank that has had me talking to people from India, Pakistan, the Philippines and I do believe Trinidad but not a soul from Los Angeles. I live in Las Vegas and your office is in Los Angeles but yet no call has ever found its way to the ears from which I received the bogus check.
It pains me that it has come to this act to gain your attention. This situation has long exceeded its shelf-life and we should rectify it immediately if not sooner. Do the right thing and send me the replacement check. When you contacted me after my son's death in the military, you included penalties and interest when settling his account and you were paid. Now that you owe me, will those same financial inducements be added to the sum you so adamantly refuse to pay be reciprocated to my payment.
I am just one individual being mistreated and cheated by your company. I am also providing courtesy copies of this pleading to other media outlets in an effort to educate other victims of your callous treatment. I am relatively certain that I am not alone in this category.

Automobile loan
In addition to being scammed by the Dealership (go ahead and google "Hidden Warranty Scam") on a Service Contract that was added to the sale without my knowledge, consent, OR SIGNATURE, Westlake sided with the Dealership when brought to their attention. Further investigation revealed Westlake also OWNS the fictitious company "Secure One" which is the company responsible for the Service Contract they have these dealerships try and upsale you on. IF you catch it and refuse, they add it anyway by rolling it in your loan. Its a $2000 add on.
This is how this scam affects your loan:
$2000 at 20% for 48 months is an additional $1600 or $33 month
$2000 at 25% for 48 months is an additional $2000 or $41 month
$2000 at 29% for 60 months is an additional $2900 or $48 month
Its [censored] and its why these sleazy car dealers that finance anyone have the reputation they do. Most car buyers only give a crap about the monthly payment and if thats low enough to afford, they end up with a loan for the next 7 years and pay double or more for an average car. I was told nothing was final and paperwork was being sent for approval and I could make changes. Not true. My digital signature was added and sale was final. Illegally on more than that as it didnt have a smog check either.
On top of THAT, he jacked the price up another $600 than the ad (that I brought with me and showed him and verbally said yes that was the price)
I wrote to the "dealer compliance department" at Westlake. Waste of time. At one point Westlake said "send me the ad showing the lower price" obviously assuming I didnt have it, but I did, from two different sources. Still was told "Sorry, the dealer can change the price" THEN WHY THE F — DID U ASK ME TO SE...complete waste of my time
I've filed complaints with DMV, the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, and am refinancing so I never have to do business with this horrid company.
Desired outcome: For them to cease the use of this illegal and immoral practice of the Forced Warranty Scam, and re-write the contract as it should have been and what was advertised, and remove the OPTIONAL service Contract as i specifically said to do.

My car was stolen in October of 2022. My insurance couldn’t pay the car off because the title wasn’t in the lien holders name. Vroom sent the title, signed for my Westlake, on December 26th, 2022. It’s April 24th, and I still can’t get a title. No one wants to help. No one talks to me or calls me back. I got the car back last week and can’t use it since the plates are expired since October. tx dmv can’t help me since the car isn’t registered to me. The worst experience I’ve ever had, ever. Worst Company ever.

Friday April 21,2023 call was at 8:07pm. The number was [protected] all call came to my phone from this number stateing they were westlake financial services the man was very rude and hostall and even called me a liar and even said he called me a liar. i called on the 7 of april and spoke with a representative and changed my due date to the 14 instead of the 07th. the man was very hateful and kept raising his voice and talking over me.so according to their policy i have up to ten days before its late so that would be the 24 before imlate and even then its only states the charge a late fee that notices have to be sent out and they have not been they are threating to take my car if i dont pay in two hours. im scared of what these people will do. i also have been calling them for 4 days to work on an hardship extension that i am allowed to get and was yet to get a response

Speaking with different people every time who was rude and told me it is nothing, they can do to get my payoff letter to your company to show paid. The recovery_ supervisor email is showing that your company is rejecting my email. Westlake Financial is refusing to allow me to send nor mail my payoff letter, which has profoundly affected my credit for the past year and affected my ability to restore my credit and has caused hardship to me to rebuild my credit and financial stability, also mental because I am trying so hard to get my payoff letter to your company.

High interest auto loan
I am being charged 23 % interest rate for an auto loan with Westlake financial. I have had my car for 5 months now. My payment is 264$ a month. I am disabled and on a fix income and receive 914$ a month. I am driving a 2006 bmw that was financed with them. It’s 17 years old and close to breaking down. I got behind two months on my payment and was told if I paid 100$ the other amount of money I owed would be put at the end of the loan. I did this but They lied and repossessed my vehicle. I was told that I have three days to come up with 716$ to get my car or else I loose it. I explained that I wouldn’t be paid until the 1st and I’m on a fix income. I asked if I could pay 500$ now and the other 216$ on the first. The supervisor was extremely rude and told me I had until Monday by 5 pm to come up with all of the money or the car will be gone. This company is charging me a 23 % interest charge on car that was only 3200$. In two years I will have paid over 7000$ for this car. They have ripped me off and now have my car. I attached pictures of the vehicle the day that I purchased it. It had paint damage and body damage and was selling for 3200$. Contract is for two years
Desired outcome: I need a vehicle to get to my medical appointments and I need the car back. I want the owed money put at the back of the loan as discussed or let me pay half of the 716$ and the other half on the first and give me my vehicle back.
Automatic payment not being put in/ lied to
The representative is very unprofessional and have been screwing up and lying about putting in my auto payment and it’s like they are doing this to get more money out of you. My payments were supposed to be processed every 6th of the month but, after telling them my problem they got mad and “DIDNT PUT MY PAYMENTS FOR AUTOMATIC TAKE OUT”. I would not recommend doing business with them due to how unprofessional and unorganized they are. They claimed that I wasn’t following instructions but they supposedly put my info for my automatic payments in but didn’t even signed and electronic agreement that they just made it seem fake by not following they own agreement.

I am being charged for West Lakes mistakes and late fees I have proof in my bank and statements showing I had the money in my account and Westlake rejected him and now they're trying to charge me late please I have been paying for my car to the app Westlake I sent them the emails of a statements from my bank and they still keep giving me excuses my car is almost paid off and now they want to give me problems someone needs to get back to me there are notes on the account

I bought a truck from Illinois Auto Sales LLS we finance it with you had the truck for one day and brought it back because the check engine light came on they said it was fixed pick it up again on the way home it came on again brought it back this time they said it was a electrical problem it was brought back and keep until about February 16,20023 we text back fought to find out what was going on with the truck they said that could work on it for a couple of weeks they where back up so we pick up the truck the still insistent that it was a electrical problem we call our mechanic and brought to him within a hour we new it was a engine problem witch would cost us from 8,000 to 10,000 to repair they held the truck for over 90 day
