Our experience from the initial call, estimate and measuring to actual install about 5 weeks later was GREAT
Our experience from the initial call, estimate and measuring to actual install about 5 weeks later was GREAT. We ordered 4 up stair windows and a large downstairs window with 2 small windows. Our house was built in 1941 and we were replacing original windows. The windows in my downstairs library were old metal crank windows and we were very concerned that any new replacements may not fit properly or may leak but we are very happy and have not had any problems. The install person and his wife were very professional and cleaned all the mess. We will definitely use Window World again and would recommend them to all our family and friends.

I had 18 windows installed in 2020
I had 18 windows installed in 2020. I elected to have the faces capped so there would be no more maintenance on the windows. The caulking used (and there's a ton of it) was wrong. Every single window caulking is molded/mildewed. It took months if not a year for it to dry. I'm pretty sure I heard one of the workers say that they ran out of caulk and went to dollar store to buy more. I paid too much money for that. I know that there is appropriate caulk on the market. It was not used. I caLled company. They sent people out twice to correct the problem. Both times they decided there was nothing wrong. I disagree. I had one window that leaked after they left the installation. It wasn't caulked at all on top of window. We fixed it ourselves.

Very professional, very reasonable, very efficient, very nice windows the insulation went very clean and fast
from window world was very knowledgeable and courteous. He made sure that our needs as a household were met
Had to deal with a lot of contractors recovering from IDA. Window World was great to deal with. *** came and measured and with his knowledge of their products we got the perfect windows for our home. Installers were very quick and did a great job. Windows look awesome.
Horrible experience. The service after the sale is seriously lacking. They botched the installation of our window, which caused water damage. After a few years of getting the run around I thought we were finally going to get the issue resolved. Finally gave up. Would rather eat the cost of having someone else fix it than to deal with them anymore. Will be contacting the Office of the Chairman of Window World Inc to make sure they're aware of how Window World Baton Rouge represents their company.
3 separate orders/jobs started 11 months ago (Jan 2021), 1 paid in advance to replace other WW windows, 2 paid for at install in March, 3rd job
3 separate orders/jobs started 11 months ago (Jan 2021), 1 paid in advance to replace other WW windows, 2 paid for at install in March, 3rd job started in Oct. 6 trips by window tech's and NO JOB is complete! Installed broken windows, replacements ordered and shipped to warehouse, tech's arrived with damaged and broken glass (twice now!) Tech just left (6th trip) unable to complete any work specified (sent out with more broken windows). Sloppy workmanship, missing parts, broken glass, damage to property, no tools, one guy sent out to replace 2nd floor windows with out a ladder! The list goes on. Dozens and dozens of calls to all levels of management remain unanswered/unreturned. Not what a sane person would expect for $20K! Avoid at all costs!

The sales manager that came out told us that there would be about a 6 weeks before our new windows came in. Once they arrived the "technicians" installed the windows in the house but they did not level them, nor did they do any interior framing for the windows. Additionally, the measurements on the downstairs window were completely off and it did not fit. We had put 50% down, more than half of that for the very large downstairs window. We asked them to cancel the rest of the order based on the lack of quality of their installation of the other windows. My older brother had to relevel and frame the upstairs windows they had "installed" himself. They attempted to deliver the other window at a later date and we turned them away because we had cancelled the order. They just called my sister-in-law saying she owed them the balance on the order. We told them we weren't paying them anything because they didn't finish the job nor did they perform the job properly. Then, they threatened to take her to collections. Not a business you ever want to deal with for any reason.
I am very pleased with the service and installation of all my windows. I had one problem with some caulking and they sent a guy out to repair right away.
The crew chief was friendly and the guys worked fast despite rain hitting mid-instal installing the windows and cleaning up in a matter of a few hours.
Window World Crew was fast, professional, & did a Great Job ! I would highly recommend Window World to my friends & family ! Thanks
0 stars. This company installed the windows promptly but that is where the service ends
0 stars. This company installed the windows promptly but that is where the service ends. I have needed several replacements due to window defects. The last replacements were ordered one year ago, then reordered as the original order was "lost" and that employee no longer on staff. On each scheduled service to replace the defected windows, the contractor did not show. They did not call in the morning as promised. I have always needed to call and track down someone to see if anyone was coming. I have been given every excuse from the window was broken, the weather, delayed on another job...and all of these on repeat. The apologies are given, but NO SERVICE EVER IS. I paid for the windows with free replacements for defects in my contract. This company is in breach of their contract.

I had a warranty claim done on a sliding patio door. The field rep came out in Oct 2021 and told me it would be covered under warranty and he placed the order which would take 10-12 weeks. I received a call in early March stating my replace frame was in and wanted to schedule the install. I had 3 different appointments and still no one has come out much call. I called window world and waiting for a supervisor to call me back.
I met with a salesman on March 13
I met with a salesman on March 13. After all documentation was signed, my windows were ordered. Was promised installation by the end of April. It is now June 24. I have been promised several delivery dates, several installation dates and NO communication from salesman's, company, installer unless I contact them. They promise return calls and never return calls. I have taken off the last two days and no installation yet. Was promised tomorrow installation and a return call from warehouse production manager and nothing! I sent a text to my salesman, his manager and installation manager asking for help. Installation manager stated he'd call me back within the hour. Nothing. I hope they are installed tomorrow, but not feeling any hope. All I want is communication and results. I would find a local or other company if you want results.
I guess it starts with the guy who comes out and measures
I guess it starts with the guy who comes out and measures. Apparently the one that did our measurements was pretty good. All 6 of the windows were installed very well. We did order double hung windows that were bronze on the outside and white on the inside, so it took longer, (at least 12 weeks? maybe?) but worth the wait. The crew that came out and installed them left almost no debris. There were a few scratches on the window casings and at least one screen has a small hole in it. I have not inspected the windows very close. Overall, because I own a small business, deal with homeowners on a daily basis and provide a quality service myself, my opinion is that perfection is never achieved on any job. Considering the quality of the windows and the quality of the work vs the price I paid, I am very happy with the whole experience. Good job Window World!
The initial service from their sales rep was great
The initial service from their sales rep was great. I was eager to get the work started. Had 1 window and one sliding glass door installed. The installation of the new windows was very poor. The installers left abruptly on a Friday and left a large gap in the window. 3-4 hours after he left I was finally able to get in touch with the project manager only to be told no one could come out until Tuesday to fix the job. In August, I decided to give them another chance (I shouldn't have) and let them install the sliding glass door. They installed it with missing pieces and when the final pieces came a month and half later the senior tech notices the door is not operating properly and ultimately I need a whole new mainframe and the job redone completely. As of today, I still have not received the new properly installed door, nor have heard back from the company with an expected completion date. The original project was done in June. So for 2 installs it has taken over 4 months.

0 stars. The largest of the 8 windows that were being replaced was installed improperly. The gap from the frame to the trim on the interior side was over two inches that they tried to fill with putty/caulking. The only part that is visible from the inside above curtains is the most embarrassing looking hack job. When the process was started to replace it, the installation crew canceled on us 4 TIMES! We waited all day each time with them saying, "we will be there soon." But never came. On one occasion, they showed up, but at 7 o'clock at night, 4 hours late. No mention of any kind of refund was ever offered. We now want a full refund on all the windows so we can get them replaced, and have them all match, by a reputable company. As of right now, they are scheduled for a FIFTH TIME, and are now offering a 15.6% refund. This is beyond insulting. We passed ridiculous at the second cancelation. Also, two other windows have sash and frame problems. Communication with supervisors is virtually non-existent. Have been ignored and ghosted at every turn. If it weren't for my constant calling, they would never have returned my calls.

Horrible Company!
Horrible Company! I ordered my sliding glass door in October and still not installed as of June 29. Around March they scheduled and did not show up as lost the frame somewhere in the wearhouse - than they found the frame, scheduled again, did not show again when I called them they said they lost the frame AGAIN. WHAT ? HOW? I spoke with Brandon (field supervisor)who stated he would have to reorder the frame but would expedite the it and it should come in in 2 weeks. Three 3 months later it came in. Yey, I'm finally getting my sliding glass doors so I can put my house up for sale -RIGHT? WRONG! They once again scheduled 6/28, My husband stayed home from work (not getting paid) and NO ONE CALLS OR COMES to install the door . I call them they are completely clueless but filed supervisor ,Robin, "will look into it".Then I contacted Robin's supervisor ,Randy, who states he look into it and call back in about 20 mins. No call. I call an hour or so later. Still looking into it will call me by the end of the day and he has a installation crew in New Orleans tomorrow and will get me schduled. THAT WAS YESTERDAY. NO CALL FROM ROBIN YESTERDAY AT END OF DAY AS PROMISED STILL NO CALL AS OF 1PM TODAY. I GIVE UP! BEYOND FRUSTRATED!
This company has given us the run around for the past three months
This company has given us the run around for the past three months. The day that they delivered the windows one window was cracked and needed to be replaced. They came later to install two windows and they were messed up as well. We are on our third casement window and it has not come in yet. They have two replacement windows that have yet to come in. We call and they tell us that they will show up and never do.
So current issues:
1. Need two replacement windows.
2. Need a replacement casement window.
3. One window sash is bent
4. Our big window does not seem stable.
5. The strips on the side of the windows are just coming out of the windows.
6. Customer Service is non existent.
This is a new construction and now are holding up the process!
How can a business do this to people? We allowed ample time before and now we have no time left.
These guys were not the cheapest and we thought we would get great service. We obviously were wrong.
If I could replace them all and get my money back that would be nice, but at this point in the build we can not just rip these windows out and wait another 6 weeks for new windows. That would cause my sheetrock to be exposed to the elements.
They also overcharged us and we have yet to receive that money back.
I can break this down by interactions, but feel that may be a waste.
I had to choose 1 star but it should be No Stars!
I had to choose 1 star but it should be No Stars!
The only action that has gone smoothly is when the rep came out and we ordered the windows in April .
Today is April 12, 2022 and still not right.
I have spoken with at least 8 employees ranging from receptionist to supervisors but never an Owner! ***, *** to name a few). Too many times to count the phone calls, text and emails.
We have had 2 crews come out and 2 techs and many NO SHOWS with no calls to say weren't coming. Windows were supposed to be in 6/21. Partially installed in 9/21.
I have been very patient but not any longer. I have had to repeat myself too many times. I'm done.
1. Ordered white windows-but the black leaks thru the white- not sure if manufacturing issue or this is how they are made.. bc this is not what I wanted
2. Ordered wrong sizes for my front living room 2x. They took my screens for my original windows so we couldn't open windows.
3. They came back to install the living room windows and they are 2 completely different sizes. And now there is a safety issue with one installed and still the wrong size
4. Communication issues with crews
5. Left a mess on inside and out when windows installed
6. 2 long pieces of metal in yard - ran over with lawn mower
7. Gaps in screen bottoms
8. One torn screen
9. Incorrect billing
10. No walk through
11. My wood around my windows are damaged along with one inside
Maybe the owners if they have any will come see for themselves. I was told they retired and there are no owners!

"Buyer be aware" I am writing this for anyone thinking about using Window World of Baton Rouge, La
"Buyer be aware" I am writing this for anyone thinking about using Window World of Baton Rouge, La. My life has been *** for these past four months. Consumers deserve better treatment.
I signed a contract with *** (Salesman) to have 8 windows installed in my granddaughter's home from Window World of Baton Rouge, La.
On March 9, 2022 the Window World windows were to be installed at 9 am; then 10:30 am; then 1:30 pm; then 3:30 pm. I called the main office and told window world not to send anyone to install the windows after 3:30 pm that day, because I wouldn't be able to inspect their installation because it would be dark. The installers showed up at 5:23 pm that same day. Instead of knocking the window glass outside my home they chose to knock the glass inside my home. I told them my great grandson was two years old and that made a very dangerous situation for him. The workers made such a mess. They had glass every where's on tables; countertops and furniture. I found slithers of glass for a long time. The workmanship was something I had never seen before. Such incompetent work. They carried a white five gallon bucket around to install the over seeping caulk around the windows. What a mess? They cut the window trim too short; they damaged window trim and a repair guy had to come out to repair some of the damage March 14, 2022. The workers damaged three of the window screens that had scratches and holes on them and they had to be replaced. The screens were installed May 3rd. Four months of *** from this company! My referral check came in 07/25/2022 was sent to Chauvin La (2 1/2 hour drive from my home).
I have ordered 4 windows to be installed in my house on November 17
I have ordered 4 windows to be installed in my house on November 17. The salesman promised the job will be completed in two months and I did specifically tell him that I require the windows to be installed by in house crew, not by outside contractors or third party hired by them.
As of today, May 3rd, the job has not been completed.
They called me on January 21st and they told me the window will be arriving on January 28th but the windows did not arrive. In the middle of February, they informed me that the windows have arrived but one of them was broken. I told them that I will wait until the replacement window arrives so it can be installed all at once. On March 22nd, they told me that the replacement window has arrived and the windows were ready to be installed, but when they arrived with the 4 windows, one of them was broken. I ended up deciding to have the 3 windows installed and wait on the 4th window. The crew coming to install the windows were not employees of Window World, even though I requested very clearly I do not want hired contractors or third party. It took them 6 days to install just 3 windows but they STILL have to be sealed. Since then, I have not heard from them yet regardless of me calling them. They left behind really big pieces of glass leaning outside on the wall in my backyard which the wind has knocked down, shattering it completely, leaving hazardous conditions in my backyard. On top of that, they left behind a really big and heavy bin filled with pieces of glass and trash.
So far it has been nearly 6 months and the job has not been completed, trash and glass bin still there, and left with hazardous pieces of glass in my backyard.
We ordered a sliding glass door in April
We ordered a sliding glass door in April . After waiting several months for an installation our door was installed incorrectly and without a part. After the installation we notice sound coming through the door and realized a piece was missing to keep out sound and air. We contacted our local Window World Office and it took 3 months to get the piece in. We contacted managers, the national office, the owner's son at least 15 times during this time period. They told us that it was on back order. We actually found out that it was sitting in the warehouse for at least 3 weeks but no one bothered to contact my husband or myself to install the part. They just blew us off. We called several more time and spoke to various managers and they assured us they would make it right. They either ordered the wrong piece or grabbed the wrong piece from the warehouse and sent a newbie installer to try and install it. He forced the piece into the door and said we can't use the door for a month! What? I told him to take it out that it wasn't the correct part and took videos and pictures to send to Window World. We called at least 10 times trying to get them to provide the proper part and install it asap. Here we are in September, 5 months after I paid cash for this door and we are still waiting. They have not contacted us explaining the status of our part. We are DONE! I will NEVER deal with our Baton Rouge Window World again. This has been inexcusable! Horrible customer service, lack of return phone calls and 5 months and many promises later, and we still don't have the correct part. I am asking for a full refund and will purchase a door from another company. One of the worst and most stressful situations from a service provider we have ever experienced!

Dec. 11, 2021, residence window replacement contract, issues with Window World Baton Rouge
=> Dec. 11, 2021 at residence, replace 10 windows, approximately $5,000 value contract with Window World Baton Rouge (WW BR)
=>March 15 crew arrived and removed all windows. After dark was still installing new windows. One window was too big (too tall). WW BR installed some of our plywood over that window hole. Called a few times to inquire about new window status & installation status. No shipping date from factory known and no install date known.
=>May 10 Crew returned & removed plywood. The new window (2nd attempt) was too big (too wide). Installed plywood again over opening.
=> in May & June , I called a few times inquiring about 2nd window and installation date. WW BR personnel had no shipping date from factory known and no install date known.
=>July 15 Spoke with the WW BR boss and he assured me that the new (3rd attempt) window was in their warehouse and would be installed soon. The boss was not a professional guy. Arrogant is a good word maybe for his approach to working with customers on the phone. Just kept giving excuses that the factory was being late, etc.
=> since then no installation date has been given by WW BR as promised by the boss.
=> I called and texted WW BR installation supervisor a few times since in Aug & Sep and he said that he would have WW BR find the window and get it installed.
=> Sep 30 Left phone message & text contact with the supervisor. No contact from the supervisor as promised by the boss.
=> Oct 6 Called WW BR and spoke with the boss. He said the supervisor would call me back next day. No call from the supervisor.
=> Oct 8 after no return call, etc. as promised, I called WW BR & Steve gave a message via his answering phone person & said that he would send someone out on Monday.
=> After the boss's message, 10 minutes later the supervisor texted and said he would find the window.
=> Monday, Oct 11, 2021. WW BR QC guy, Ourso arrived at the street and measured the window again. Said would let me know when they found the window in the warehouse.
=> Today Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 spoke with the boss via phone and he said the supervisor was out sick during the middle of the week and he would check when he got back in the office on Monday if they found the 3rd window.
=> I do not believe that WW BR will meet their contract responsibilities of installing the last window. I am holding only $200 of final payment and windows average cost is closer to $500 each. So WW BR has me over a financial and service barrel for sure on this window. They removed my old window so yep they have me over a barrel.
=> Passing me around to different WW BR personnel between WW BR management, field installer supervisor & QC guy is just passing the buck and probably just giving me the run around.
=> Complaintsboard.com please contact WW BR and assist if you can. Thanks, B

Vinyl Siding Installation By Window World of Baton Rouge Work Started Around Sept
Vinyl Siding Installation By Window World of Baton Rouge Work Started Around Sept. 2021 Price $22,605 Window World's products come with a two year labor warranty & a limited lifetime warranty by the manufacturer. Issues: I've tried to address this during and after this job. Window World of Baton Rouge of Baton Rouge does not follow the manufacturer's installation so the manufacturer is unable to cover the limited lifetime warranty. I have been in a constant dispute with this company for months trying to get my installation up to manufacturer standards so that if any issue arises after my labor warranty expires, my promised limited lifetime warranty will not be voided by the manufacturer due to improper installation. They have been responsive for some of my concerns but still refuse to address everything. This installation is less than a year old and I've had constant issues since the end of last year due to shoddy workmanship. Window World of Baton Rouge claims that their installers are "factory trained" and that their siding comes with a 2 year labor warranty & lifetime limited warranty for materials. Unfortunately, they do not install their products per manufacturer guidelines, which voids the siding's lifetime limited warranty. So if any issue arises after this labor period expires I will be responsible for 100% of the costs for the materials. The installers take zero care for the materials and damage them while nailing and hanging them. I am still well within their labor warranty. The manufacturer's warranty department told me Window World (within the past week) recently tried to make a claim on this job and was DENIED due to Improper installation. They also sent a guy to repair my soffit and he damaged my brand new gutters on listed on this contract. They are now dented from his ladder. I even have emails from the Field Supervisor *** promising the siding was being installed correctly and is backed by the warranty yet back in September.

I have had a window world replacement window ordered with 1/2 the payment down when ordered for a window that was damaged during a tornado in October. The window came in within the timeframe I was told it would, so no complaints there. I received a call to schedule an install date which was for 4/26/2022. For this first scheduled date, I was notified the day of that the install would need to be rescheduled, which I understand they informed me of a crew issue they had lost personnel. The second install date was then scheduled for 4/29/2022. The second install date comes and again, I received a call and was told the day of that they need to reschedule without explanation. Ok whatever fine. A third install date was scheduled for 5/3/2022. The third date comes, I receive an email with the field supervisor's contact information. I attempted to reach out to him multiple times and no answer and voicemail full so cannot leave a message. No communication at all, no one shows for the install. I call the next day and on 5/4/2022 and was told there was an error and the job was supposed to be for today (5/4/2022) at 4:00 pm. I call throughout the day to confirm and was told yes its on the schedule for today at 4:00pm. I call at 3:00 pm and was informed that the job was NOT going to happen today and that the ladies in their scheduling dept. made a mistake. I had to reach out to the field supervisor and he was unaware of the job being scheduled. It is now scheduled for 5/6/2022. At this point I cannot rely on what is being communicated each time an install date is scheduled. I have had to make arrangements as my wife and I work and have 2 kids, so I have lost time and pay at work for these scheduling problems and I am reserved about paying the full invoice remaining as I don't feel that is fair. One or two reschedules I can live with, but 4 now is not acceptable, especially being notified the day of, literally an hour before the scheduled install.
Order date: 5/21, after many delays last window installed 5/5/2022. lst windows installed improperly, wind noise everytime the wind is strong. Not properly sealed, hardware screws not covered. Waiting home for installers that failed to show up as promised with no phone call. Notes that were not passed on to daily 10:00 planning meeting per phone conversations. Told installers what was not complete, still is not complete but Window World wants me to accept incomplete installs then service after the fact. Installs are separate from service. Emphasize commitment to doctor at 3:00 but due to late nature of planning meetings did not show up till 1:30 not enough time for me to see completed work as I had to leave as told to them. Made big argument about signing paperwork. Told them you knew my limitations. You failed to show last time. Not consumer friendly. Total job cost over $14,000 cash expected better and more friendly service. Balance due is $3500, expect sizable discount for delays, trouble, failure to show and contact me, and poor install. Offered $500 but work still incomplete, expect larger discount due to size of job, large delays, poor install, my embarassment recommendig them before work was complete.
We have replaced 9 windows and one sliding exterior door. The caulking materials are defective and the caulk will not dry or cure. Dust and dirt and bugs are now stuck to the caulk. Several months ago Window World of Baton Rouge (name of business) sent a tech to resolve and he made it worse. We have rescheduled with their management five separate times. Each time they either do not show, cancel or send technicians that are not trained or prepared to do the work. This is an investment of almost twenty thousand dollars. We can furnish any documents that will be needed. The contractor (Window World of Baton Rouge also has an extensive list of all of our complaints. We call them, they promise to fix the problem but they never can get the windows repaired due to the dispatching of untrained or lack of proper employees arriving to my residence.
On 2/3/22 I purchased windows from Window World for $8027. In my contract, it is stated that I purchased 1x4 trim to be installed on all windows. The crew installed 1×3 trim on all windows and did such a poor job it will likely cause water damage to my home. The trim was scrapped together with frayed ends and the caulk missing in many places. The siding on the house was not cut back far enough in most places that it causes the trim to stick out and hold water. I have reached out to window world for a resolution many times now, but the company will not return my calls or emails.

I placed an order with window world July . They keep having problems and will not install my last window that I ordered. I have left multiple voicemails and messages for a supervisor or manager to call me back and no one will return my calls. They keep telling me 4 to 6 weeks 4 to 6 weeks but yet every time they say they have the window something happens and then it will not be installed. I have been making payments on this but yet I do not have a completed job.

Mr.,
I am exasperated with your company! You assured me you were handling this situation and I would have no more problems with the correct parts and installation of my patio doors I ordered last July. Yet, here we are on April 18th, 2022, and Window World has still not sent or installed my patio doors correctly. Today an installer showed up not knowing what to do. When I explained it to him, he informed me that he did not know how to perform relocation of locks; he only swapped panels! This upset me greatly. I asked him to at least inspect the new panels to make sure they were correct. Upon opening the boxes, he discovered that they were not only the WRONG DESIGN but also the WRONG COLOR.
Mr., if you don't contact me immediately concerning the complete breakdown of communications and ineptness of Window World, you leave me no choice but to seek legal counsel for relief from this inexcusable situation. By the way, I've been paying for this door since its first incorrect installation in October .

Ordered sliding patio door July . Two wrong doors and over six months later, we're back to square one. The wrong doors were brought to my residence today for installation. Instead of checking the doors like I asked them to see if they were correct, I was ignored, and they proceeded to dismantle the doors only to find out later they were once again the wrong doors. I finally got a screen installed after six months. One more thing, after they reinstalled the doors, now it drags and is noisy. I'm beyond frustrated with Window World!

Original windows ordered 10. Regarding this claim, I needed one living room and two kitchen windows replaced due to a factory defect. The replacements were supposedly ordered on February 3. On April 15, the living room window was replaced but the kitchen windows were not ordered. The order was then placed. On September 9, there was a no-show for installation. This was followed by another no-show on September 18, and on September 29, Window World called to cancel on the day of the appointment. The same happened on October 6. On December 1, after five attempts to reach them, I was told they couldn't come due to a 'window broken'. I spoke with a representative who was supposed to resolve the issue.
On February 17, 2022, no one called with a time for the installation (this was also the case on the previously mentioned dates, as I always had to call to follow up). I spoke with a contractor who was tied up. The contractor arrived in the dark at 6 pm with only one of the two windows. It turned out the second window was never ordered. The contractor measured and the window was ordered. I filed a review on Complaintsboard.com. The next day, I spoke with a manager who promised to rush the order.
In March, Window World called to say the window arrived broken. On April 18, I texted the representative to set the next installation date for April 28. On April 28, 2022, there was no call. I texted and called the representative several times with no response. The installer called later and could not make it. The following day, the installer came to the house with only one of the two replacement windows, which he could not install because it was the wrong size. I called the office and the field supervisor with no answer, and the manager did not respond either. I spoke to someone in consumer relations who said they would contact someone in the Baton Rouge office.
Louisiana Civil Code 2769 states that if a contractor fails to do work in a timely fashion, he is liable for the losses. Window World is in breach of their contract by not adhering to their warranty. I have lost work and wages for all of the times I was home waiting for them.
Summer of 2021 I purchased 4 windows from Window World of Baton Rouge
Summer of 2021 I purchased 4 windows from Window World of Baton Rouge. The morning of July 26th I received a call from the installer who said one of the windows was broken and asked if I still wanted the window installed. Confused I asked, "Are you asking if I would like the broken window installed? he said I'm only the messenger. He proceeded to put a manager on the phone who clarified. The question was. "Would you like to proceed installing the 3 good windows or would I like to wait until the new window comes in and have them all installed at that time?" That made perfect sense to me. I told him to proceed with the 3 windows because I had a friend waiting at my house for the installation. Later that day my friend called and said they installed the broken window anyway. I was livid! This was not simply a cracked panel, large pieces of glass were protruding. I went to the store and spoke w/ an manager who was all but unapologetic but agreed to send someone to clean out the glass and remove the broken panel. I asked the manager could my case take priority, he responded and said Ma'am everyone wants to be priority. Just before Hurricane Ida hit BR I called WW and spoke w/ a manager because I was afraid the damaged window could not withstand the winds. He assured me I would be ok and that my window would be installed on 9/6. That day I received a call that due to the hurricane they were short of installers and could not accompany me. I explained my situation and asked if my case could take priority and she responded, w/ Ma'am everyone wants their case to be a priority. Almost a year later I am still waiting for my window to be installed. I have not received a call from Window World since Sept. but my account has been paid in full since July '21. It appears my case is not a priority. The level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable! Customers should seriously consider the level of customer service & the quality of work by Window World when looking to purchase windows.

About two or three months ago I contracted with window world of Baton Rouge to replace all the windows in my house. The windows were delivered last week and were to be installed. I paid $7,300.00 up front which was half of the total amount. My house had just been repaired after hurricane ida and the workers were finishing up some pending things. When I arrived home last Wednesday I saw multiple areas of damaged Sheetrock, wood trim, ceilings, tile and marble where the installers were working. There was also broken glass and blood in my foyer. My contractor told me they were dropping the old broken windows inside in this case. Outside there were broken windows from the second story everywhere. I noticed they were using. Pneumatic chisels inside my house. They were a Brazilian crew so even though I speak English and Spanish I couldn't reall communicate with them. However the crew foreman told me he would repair all damages. Keep in mind my house was finally having all the Sheetrock and paint redone after many months very professionally. When I saw what these installers were doing to my house I asked them to stop because they were making things worse. The repairs cost $6,000.00. Window world sent another Brazilian who minimized the damage while seeing it at night. I requested that the product manager come see all the damage but they declined. They said send an estimate and I did. I had the repairs done while the contractor was still here. Window world said they would allow $2,000.00 in repairs without seeing the damage. I owe them about $7000.00 but I told them they would have to cover the repairs. Response was to send me to collections. There is much more to this but I'm close to 2000 characters. I have videos and pictures of all of it.
We suffered extreme home damage during hurricane Laura and had to replace numerous windows. We ordered 15k dollars worth of windows from Window World out of Baton Rouge La on December 20. They are all paid in full. We have been waiting for the last window to be installed. We have been waiting for 1 year and 4 months for this company to finish the installation of windows. We have been given so many excuses as to why it has not been installed. The latest on April 1, 2022 was that the window could not be located in their warehouse and would have to be reordered again for the fifth time. The company always tells us *** who is the representative over our home is out of the office and will not communicate with us or update us. We have called the corporate office and still haven't gotten any help in resolving this matter. The person answering their phone says all I can tell you is the window was reordered. It's been 1 year and 4 months since we originally ordered the window. We are at a complete loss and are hopeless that this window will ever be installed.
On 01/18/2022 I was sold four replacement windows in the amount of $2460. As required, I paid 1/2 down in the amount of $1230, and the balance due upon installation. On 03/29/2022 Window World technicians came to install my new replacement windows. After scoring and removing a window, the foreman realized they delivered the wrong replacement windows. The foreman said I would receive a phone call the next day from management to offer a resolution. The next day came and no phone call. I am requesting an immediate and full refund of my $1230 dollars and an immediate and full repair of my scored, taped and damaged window pane. Sincerely

Dec. 11, 2020, residence window replacement contract, issues with Window World Baton Rouge
On December 11, a contract was signed to replace 10 windows at a residence, valued at approximately $5,000, with Window World Baton Rouge. By March 15, the crew had removed all windows but faced issues when one replacement window was too tall. Plywood was temporarily installed. Repeated inquiries about the new window's status yielded no confirmed shipping or installation dates. On May 10, the crew returned, but the second window attempt was too wide, leading to the reinstallation of plywood. Further inquiries in May and June left the installation date unknown. On July 15, a conversation with the company's boss promised the third window was ready in their warehouse, but his demeanor was unprofessional and arrogant. Despite assurances, no installation date was provided. Following up with the installation supervisor in August and September resulted in more unfulfilled promises. On September 30, a message was left without a response. On October 6, another unreturned promise for a callback occurred. Finally, on October 8, after further follow-up, a message was received promising a visit the following Monday. Ten minutes later, a text promised to locate the window. On October 11, a quality control representative measured the window again, with a commitment to update on the progress.

We started this nightmare in march, I believe the total was close to $15,000 , they failed to be timely and were months late installing, they installed the WRONG siding, we ordered Dutch siding, which every time I did talk to someone about the MANY issues they always just ignored and never addressed this, It was told to a minimum of 5 different people and in complaints to local and corporate offices...their field supervisors refused to come and see the issues after multiple requests. They have failed to fix known issues and even no showed multiple times after sending email and saying they were coming to repair. This required taking off work every time. On one repair of window they damaged the framing added during the siding install, I made the guy not it on the paper before I signed it. They failed to attach the siding securely to the house and there is a 3-4 inch gap between house and siding that allows for easy access for rodents and insects, Is like this all around the house. I specifically asked the sales guy when placing order and head installer the day of install about them making sure my old siding was secure at the bottom before they did the work and was assured it would be by both of them. The screen door was installed incorrectly and has been checked 3x by different window world employees and after wasting time and beating up on the door trying to fix it said it was installed incorrectly and it would need to be reinstalled properly. All of this has been gone over many times with different people and even online trying to resolve this mess.
I ordered a sliding glass door on 9/3 and paid half of the money up front. It did not come in until 3 Aug 21When it was installed. The sliding glass door was supposed to be the right panel and a foreign person installed it in the center spot. Not only was it installed in the wrong spot but it doesn't lock properly and screws are sticking out from the plastic separator board. I have called more than fifteen times to get it fixed and they no longer answer my calls.
I purchased windows from window world of Baton Rouge
I purchased windows from window world of Baton Rouge. When calling to purchase you will speak to a call center representative who then sends a message to a sales rep who then calls you to schedule an apt to measure and pay for windows. The sales rep will reschedule multiple times or no show and will not answer phone when you try to communicate back. You will then have to call the call center again until this process finally works out at the sales representatives convenience. After ordering and waiting for windows you will go through this process again several times never speaking to sales rep again. You'll speak with call center rep(several different people who say and schedule different times never communicating changes to you.) A random driver with your windows will call you and tell you that he's ready to install your windows whether or not it was scheduled on that day. If you are able to leave work so you don't have to reschedule yet again you will watch a team of untrained men poorly install windows. Now starts the process of another call center rep, sales rep to come out and maybe show up, drivers with more untrained workers to fix installation. This is months of phone calls and reschedules and missed work. You will never get returned phone calls ever! You will either speak to a call center rep or a driver who has your windows. there is no way to file a complaint other than the call center rep typing it into your file. And if you try and call multiple time they flag you and treat you terribly. I still have poorly installed windows and one missing window that has been reordered because it came in broken and scheduled 5 different times to be installed with excuses as to why rescheduling needed to happen in the first place. driver and crew showed up on a Friday night at 5:30 when we had sports and dances to get our children to. Tried calling office closed. Sat morning call center rep sends message to supervisor and will not speak any further. no window, no call

I payed window world in April and I was told I would expect to have the windows around may I made contact with window world on
I payed window world in April and I was told I would expect to have the windows around may I made contact with window world on multiple occasions and they would tell me they would call me back but they never did around the June July time frame they finally contacted me and said they were ready to install and the earliest available was Aug 2021 so I said ok and waited, and I took the day they scheduled me off for leave, that morning they called me saying they need to reschedule because the workers didn't show up to work, they rescheduled me for the next day, so I took another day of leave from My work and then the next morning they call me and say they are missing 4 of my windows, and had to reorder them. After going back and forth with this supervisor *** I asked for everything to be refunded, and that I would be going with a different window company and he pleaded with me to stay saying they would make everything right, and I asked him if they could just install the windows they had because I needed them incase a hurricane came, and he said he was not able to do partial installations but told me they would take care of anything that may happen so I waited until September and hurricane Ida came, and caused water damage on my first floor because the windows I had were old and did not work so I then called *** and explained to him how I was upset that they haven't gotten the windows installed and that if they did I wouldn't have the damage he promised me that window world would take care of the damage, that they would make it right and that he would send someone over to my house to fix it, no one ever came I then waited another few or so months for them to schedule the install again and when they came the installers were extremely unprofessional did not speak English and left glass everywhere, and on top of that they were missing the same 4 windows, that they were missing back in August so I had to wait even longer until Feb 2022 to get those.

We are extremely disappointed not only with the service we received by Window World, but also the lack of communication to get the problem
We are extremely disappointed not only with the service we received by Window World, but also the lack of communication to get the problem resolved. We are extremely disappointed not only with the service we received by Window World, but also the lack of communication on their part to get our problem resolved. On May 5, I received a call from WW letting me know they had a cancellation and they could install our windows on that day. I called our carpenter to let him know WW was coming, so he could arrange his day accordingly, only to receive a call later from WW cancelling our installation. The following day, May 6, WW showed up at 2 pm and completed the job in one hour. The work was being done in a house under renovation. The plumbing in the bathroom was clearly not connected, however, a worker used the facilities. We were left with the mess of trying to figure out how to not only get the smell out of the toilet, but also how to clean it up. The following day when our carpenter attempted to frame the windows, it became apparent to him the poor job that was done. One of the windows was up to one inch off. The foam insulation around the windows was poorly done. On May 8, WW was scheduled to come out and fix the job. We made sure to have our carpenter available in order to discuss the issues. WW never showed up and never called. I attempted to call Louis Farmer unsuccessfully. I left a voicemail with no return call. My husband did the same with no response as well. I reached out to someone named Jodette who sent me an email asking about our service. I received no response. I attempted to call the number she provided on the email. I left a message on her voicemail with no return call. As a last resort, we called the 800 number. At that time, we were set up for an appointment on May 12. On May 12, WW came back to fix the issue. One window was leveled. We were told the window that was an inch off could not be fixed. When I pointed out the lack of insulation around the windows, he added more in a very sloppy way to the point of having the product drip down the windows. Communication was very difficult and frustrating. He did not speak English very well. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating and time consuming. Every attempt to correct the problem has been disappointing. We have had very poor communication from WW.

Doors installed in May with many problems
Doors installed in May with many problems. I have called, texted and emailed multiple times. Service crew sent out once and nothing fixed. My customer ID is #XXXXXX with Window World. I had doors installed in May and multiple problems noted after the instillation. The glass on the front door is cracked, the carport door is so unlevel it has rubbed the expensive finish off the door and frame. The time on the outside french doors were cracked on instillation. Old rotten wood in plain view was left on the front door and carport door. The crew cut rotten wood from the french door frame and filled it in with foam (the remaining wood is rotten). And finally the threshold of the inside french doors is not flush with the tile and is broken. I had a service assessment done on June 29th in which *** (the service man) took photos and was to order everything to correct the poor quality instillation. I have never heard from Fred. He also was to put new trim around the doors on the inside of my home. I sent an email on July 26th for *** to call me regarding my doors which were poorly installed in May. Instead of *** returning my call, someone named *** called me on July 28th. All he wanted to do was schedule a service appointment to do an assessment of the problems. I explained that a service call had already occurred. When I asked him to look in my file, he related he did not see anything. He said he would call me the next day ( July 29th) and I am still waiting on that call (never received). Cracked panes, chipped wood, doors installed into rotten wood, the trim not reapplied as well as no insulation, cracked threshold and a door that squeaks so badly I think it is going to fall apart. I really don't know where to go from here. I have done everything possible to get the doors fixed from Window World. $13,000 dollars is a lot of money to spend for 3 doors and they should have been installed perfectly the first time. The bill for the doors started last month (acct # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX). I did pay it so my credit wouldn't be affected, but do not think any money should be required until the job is completed correctly. I feel this as this company is showing prejudice toward an older single women and they feel as they don't care about my service quality. Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated. Feel free to call with any information I may have neglected to include.

Window world customer service and delivery/installation is horrible!
Window world customer service and delivery/installation is horrible! We ordered windows from window world and to have them installed. We scheduled the installation and me and my husband took off from work without pay to be home during the installation. The company sent out an email the day before the installation explaining what to expect and what was needed on our part, we did that. The installation was supposed to be on Friday April 9. On Friday April 9th we get a call the day of supposed installation stating they can't do it, no explaining of why the windows couldn't be installed nor an option to reschedule. We asked to speak to a manager and was informed one would call us back, that never happened and we only spoke to someone that Friday April 9th evening right before they closed because my husband had been calling them all day including the salesman which told us he would call us back but never did. So when my husband spoke to the installation manager which his attitude was horrible and rude finally we were promised they would be out Saturday morning to install the windows around 930 am. Saturday morning came and it was a bad storm so we received a call stating due to the inclement weather they could not come out and they would call us Monday April 12th morning to reschedule. April 12 we never received a call to reschedule the installation from nobody and probably would have never heard from them if I had not taken time out to call them. When I did speak to a manager he had no reason or anything to why we hadn't received a call to reschedule or anything and then wanted us to wait an additional week to have them installed. Me and my husband took off work to go with the installation date they gave us for April 9 to which we both lost income for that day and for them to treat us that way is inconsiderate and very unprofessional and horrible customer service just to start. The salesman never returned our call, every time we spoke to someone is because we got tired of waiting on them to call us back, and we are the ones spending money with them. We have been waiting 3 days going on 4 for them to come install windows we paid for on a day they scheduled which is unprofessional and unacceptable along with the rude attitude from everyone we spoke to especially the installation manager is unacceptable. Window world customer service is unacceptable and needs to be addressed quickly.

Product does not fit the window frame
Product does not fit the window frame. The windows are warped in two rooms. I ordered my windows 10/30 from *** My windows were installed on 12/29. At the time of installation of the first window I alerted the supervisor *** of the problems with the size of the windows. There are 2-3 inch gaps around the windows and the screws were barely thread into the actual wood frame of the window. The installer tried to lie to me regarding how the screws were placed in the windows and stated that there were screws were there were none. At that time I refused to sign the installation paperwork because I was not happy with the installation. The next day I notified *** that the installers lied and sent photos of the issues I complained about. There was also a screen that was cut. I have tried to work with these people. Going back and forth with *** and customer complaints since installation. I was told on January 12th I would have someone come out and perform the repairs. No one showed up or called that day. I made *** aware of this and there was no contact back as when or how someone would come out to perform the repairs. I took a day off work to wait for these people. No one showed or called. I called corporate after this and was told they are independent franchises and they would refer this back to the owner. 1/19 *** the owner called and informed me that this was standard procedure because sheetrock needs to be installed to take up the 3 inch gaps around my windows. He did not want to address any other issues. He refused to listen to my complaints about the installation, the lack of customer service and all around the issues with their product. Every time I asked him about why the window was warped or why no one showed up he stated "there you do talking about something else, every time I get to a place I think things are solve you bring up something else". After further examination all the windows are warped because they used the 3 inch screws and forced the windows to fit. I am the customer so therefore if the product is not satisfactory it is up to the company to make the product satisfactory. He even stated he can't come out and rebuild my home. I did not ask him to do such. I am only asking for the correct windows to be installed correctly in my home. The windows are literally floating in the frame. *** was very rude and sounded like he was agitated by my audacity to call their work subpar. The installers they used seemed to have minimal experience and tried to pressure me into the signing the form stating I was satisfied with the installation.

I ordered windows six months ago and was told it was 5 week turn around
I ordered windows six months ago and was told it was 5 week turn around. The work is sloppy, incomplete and have gotten no help management. I had a window estimate for a potential home purchase on July 9. After the home purchase, I ordered the windows on July 30. In speaking to the sales representative, there was a special interest rate through a credit card for the purchase of approximately $7300.00. Given the need for extra documentation, order was complete on August 3. I was told that there was a 5 week turn around. When October came (10 weeks later), I had heard nothing. I had a stucco contractor waiting to complete his work. I have a tenant waiting to move in, and I have lost $6,800 in rental income. I made multiple phone calls to the Baton Rouge office, many of which were not documented in there notes. I know this because I called three times in one day( in November, I can provide phone records if necessary) asking to speak to a manager which no one ever called me back. In Novemeber, 10 of the 11 windows arrived. One was already broken. I was offered to have a broken window installed which I declined which both safety risks and potential leaks. The installers worked hard until 8 pm at night. They showed me each window opened, but I am not qualified to assess work. I was also told that the remaining windows would be in the following week. The windows have been installed with poor craftsmanship at best. There are cracks along the windows with sloppy caulking. The windows move as though not properly installed. Window sills are broken, and a large window in not properly sealed. When speaking to a supervisor to discuss installment of the remaining windows, I asked for a supervisor to view the work. He refused and ask me to tell him what wasn't correct as though I am a window specialist. One would think after a six month saga of disorganization, lack of communication, incomplete work, and poor customer service, a manager would be evaluate the work and customer experience. After driving to the Metairie and Baton Rouge office (each an hour away from my house), I was able to speak to a installation manager that assured me he could not help with anything other than installation. I was told that he would speak to his customer service and productivity managers concerning the entire experience. I was offered for a manager to come to the property today 1/5. I called the office yesterday to establish a time, and I was told that I would have a call back by yesterday evening. This phone call of course did not happen. I called this morning and spoke to Alyssa who informed me that Mr *** was on the phone and would call me back by 10 am. I have yet to receive any phone call. I have received a bill for $7300 dollars for an incomplete, sloppy job, which I was guaranteed by a installer, would not come until the job was complete. The contract also states that any problems with the windows having to be returned expires in one year, which I am half way through. I filed an official complaint over the phone and asked that it be escalated as high as possible.

Damaged woodwork during installation
Damaged woodwork during installation. Poor communication and failure to install all windows properly. Failure to address complaints after install. Customer ID#XXXXXX On Nov 23, 2020 we met with *** to arrange to purchase new windows. During our meeting we purchased 8 windows and we would have 11 windows removed. *** assured us that all we needed to do would be to remove our alarm contacts and window coverings leaving a 3 foot clearance for workers to work within our home. *** assured us that no damage would be done to the inside of our home during removal of old windows and installation of new windows. After a 3 month wait our windows arrived and installation was scheduled for March 5th. Here are the problems discovered during the installation and after the workers left: 1. During the installation the workers damaged the wooden casing in our office. When it was brought to their attention *** (only English speaking worker) attempted to cover up with white caulk. 2. When removing the window between our screen porch and kitchen the worker nicked and scratched the wooden window sill inside the house. This was noticed after the installers left as I thought at the time that it was merely caulk spots. Upon further inspection the wood is damaged. 3. Every wooden casing and window sill in our home is now damaged with either nicks to the wood, caulk spread out to wood or in one case the wood on the window sill of the bedroom window has a small chunk of wood broken out. 4. Caulk applied after install is spread everywhere. In some spots it is very thin line, some spots very uneven wide line and splashes of white caulk on brown window sills and woodwork. 5. Sliding windows in the bedroom are very hard to open and close. We brought this to *** attention and he told us that it's just the way the windows work because the glass is so heavy. As of today, March 22nd the windows not only are hard to open but the left window makes a squeaking noise as you open it and can only be shut and locked if pulled gently forward slightly. 6. The windows were left in a filthy condition. Not just hand prints but caulk on windows. When we asked how to deal with this *** couldn't remember the name of something that we should use on it. 7. When we filled out the form after the install and selected no to the question that our windows were functioning properly *** became upset that we put down that the windows were hard to open. 8. To add insult to injury we had to loan our broom and dustpan to the workers and it was not returned. We called *** and he agreed to return it that day but did not show up. 9. While cleaning the caulk off of the windows we noticed several fine scratches in the glass of the plate glass window in our kitchen. We called *** our salesman and he came out to see the damage. He agreed that the sliders did not work correctly and observed the damage and messy job. He assured us that he would make a list and report everything. After some back and forth with Jason we were told that someone would be out March 20th to assess the job. On March 20th we were told that someone would coming between 9am and 9:30am. We received a call @ 9:15 telling us they would be coming between 2pm and 3:30pm. When the workers came out it was the same installer, *** and two other people. Mixon first asked what the problem was. He was showed into the bedroom to test the window. He insisted there was nothing wrong with the window. He only tried the right one so did not experience the noise of the left one. We then tried to talk to him about the damaged woodwork. He said that he inspected our woodwork before the job and that it was like that. This is absolutely false. He did no such inspection. We then mentioned the broom and dust pan that he had not returned. He lied and said that he did not say he would bring it back. At this point we weren't getting anywhere so we asked him to leave.

Window broken during installation and huge hole left with only a tarp covering, which compromised health and security To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter to log a complaint with you regarding Window World and their inability to follow through with any of their contractual duties or promises made through an agreement to install windows and ONE door in our home. My wife and I ordered all new windows throughout our house as well as a sliding glass door. We were told it would be five weeks before they would install their product. After waiting over two months, they finally called and said that our order was in and that they would be coming to install everything which was ordered. However, they arrived with all the windows but no sliding glass door. While installing the windows, the gentleman broke one of our new windows, but stated that only one panel was broken. He tarped the broken glass driving screws into the new structure of our new window further compromising the casing. The gentleman, *** came to us and stated that he broke the glass but assured that it was only one pane and that we were safe from weather elements and we were secure in our home. The next day, my wife felt a draft and checked the window and realized that there was NO glass at all in the casing! We were left compromised, nothing protecting us from the cold (temps were in the 20's that week) nor from someone entering our house through the broken glass. I emailed the project supervisor/field supervisor, ***, to alert him of the fact that they left my home and my wife compromised and got no response! I tried to call him multiple times and got no answer nor did he even try to call back after leaving him a message! Both, my wife and I, called various folks associated with Window World and were given a round around until my wife was able to get someone to talk to her. She respectfully told him how upset she was about the way they did business and explained to him what had happened. The gentleman, ***, condescendingly told her that the installer stated that there was a glass in the opening of our home where there was none! I was home at the time so my wife called and asked me to check the opening to make sure! When I pulled back the tarp, which I already knew was vacant, I reached through the inside tarp and poked the outside tarp stating that there was NO GLASS IN THE OPENING! He basically called us liars. At this point, we decided to have a contractor friend come by and check their work which left him appalled at the shoddy/inferior installation that was done! He walked around the house (inside and out) and showed us the many different mistakes made and attempted coverups that existed. The more he showed us the angrier we both were getting. In all, every single window and/or installation was faulty! They damaged our new hardy board siding in the rear of our home, left one of the bricks loose in the kitchen window outside sill, they bent the frame of most of the windows while installing, their measurements were way off so the used fillers to close gaps and then tried to cover it all up using a stick on trim piece. At this point my wife and I were done! We called Window World back and told them that they will not be installing the door in our home! They pulled the "You're under contract with us for the door" trick and stated that we would be in breach of contract if we refuse the door. My wife responded to this comment by stating that they breached the contract when they compromised the security to our home and health by leaving us exposed to outside elements and anyone who desired to come in through an obvious broken glass! They told us it would take a week to get the replacement window, more lies! They broke the glass during installation on January 21st and we were told it would be in by the end of the month. We are looking at three weeks to a month with no front window. However, after the first nine days, they did send the same guy who broke the new window

The work is incomplete and shoddy at best
The work is incomplete and shoddy at best. They left large gaps in molding, did not seal. Refuse to make it right or return calls. Ordered two doors for almost $7000... After almost 3 months of waiting, the doors show up along with a couple of illegal aliens. The doors were "installed" with some of the worst "skill" possible. The dead bolt striker on the front door was not installed. Large gaps in the caulking and in some places, the old caulking was not even removed. I had to push hard on the door to get it to latch and then, the slightest push would open the door. The casing/molding were poorly cut leaving large gaps in the corners. A simple 45cut was beyond the ability of this crew. I called for the supervisor, no answer. The rear door, another half-assed installation. Again large gaps in the caulking and the install crew drilled a hole incorrectly which now leaves the door to only partially close. They also did not install the dead bolt striker plate correctly leaving me to have to correct the issue myself. As for the "clean up", I can't tell you what a phenomenal experience it is to find a door hinge screw with your bare foot! This crew left nails, wood and screws all over the place. I spent about 30 minutes cleaning up after them. They completely forgot to fill in the nail holes leaving them open. They also got paint all over my interior and exterior walls as well as my tile flooring and the cement on my porch. I call WW, takes me at least 6 calls to finally get a supervisor on the phone. He assures me he will get a crew out there to fix what should've been done correctly the first time. Second crew is scheduled to be at my house for 2pm, fast forward to 5pm and I call to see what's going on. The installer seems confused about the scheduled job at my house but shows up at 5:30pm. Says one of his guys got cut on glass and had to be taken home. Again, this crew is made up of non-English speakers The second crew then installs the front door striker plate, it's crooked. He then slaps some paint on the bare nail holes. After looking at the rear door, he pretty much tells me I'd have to order a new door because he can't fix the improperly drilled hole. When I stated that WW should replace the door on their own, he shrugged as if he did not understand what I was saying. I was so *** at this point that I took a few weeks to calm down before contacting WW again. When I felt enough time had passed, I called WW...what a monumental waste of time. The girl on the phone was nice enough but, again with the hollow promises of a "supervisor" contacting me. I also stated that I did not want another non-English speaker at my house, the girl on the phone agreed and promised me that a Supervisor and an American would arrive to do the work. I finally get a date of Oct. 18 for their Supervisor, *** XXX-XXX-XXXX, to show up at my house. On Oct. 18, no supervisor shows up, just a non-English speaker who makes a minor adjustment to the front door striker and leaves the trash on the floor. I showed him the areas of concern and he stated that he did not have the materials on hand to do the job. He then proceeds to tell me that he will have to reschedule the job for a later date. As I was speaking with him, my neighbor who just had windows installed by WW, came over. She proceeded to tell me how poorly the install job of her windows and backdoor were done by Window World. She also informed me that a crew of non-English speakers had done the horrible job on her home as well. To Window World, please do not give me the same cut and paste *** response that I see on all the other negative reviews. I sent *** the pictures of the *** installation to his phone on October 18. You have my information, contact me. I am on the edge of contacting my lawyer to have this resolved. I will also be contacting the complaintsboard.com to file a complaint in regards to your deceptive business practices. I will never use your company nor will I recommend you again. I burned my neighbor on their window install by recommending Window World. Had I kn

Installation process of getting my product installed and results after installation
Installation process of getting my product installed and results after installation. Lack of employees following up & providing final invoice/warranty Ordered on 10/12, 7 windows to be installed. Aware that installation would not be till late Nov. or Dec. and that was all good till scheduling installation. Installation was scheduled for 11/28, received a call from an installer at 9:15 am advising installation at 3:30 pm. Everything was ready and moved for install to begin. Installers arrived installed 2 windows, told us work could not be finish due to not having parts to complete job, but we would be called on Monday and they would return to complete. In the meantime I had received an email from *** the field supervisor that he would not be onsite but to contact him via phone or email with any concerns or questions. On 11/29 I sent an email to our salesperson *** and *** expressing my dissapointment and concern over this matter and would appreciate someone to contact me ASAP on Monday 11/30. On Monday I did not recieve any calls and had to contact customer service. I was told they would reach out to field supervisor to contact me. At 1:38 pm I received a call from ***, he read my email and claimed he would look into this and would be calling me back. Again no call, so on Tuesday 12/1 I called back, and was told by customer service that I would hear from someone by end of day and again nothing. I had to call again on Wednesday 12/2 and spoke to another supervisor ***, who was rude and also used profanity at a female employee while I was on the phone. I was told by *** my amount would be reduced with an updated invoice and at that point another install date was scheduled for Saturday 12/5. A phone call from *** on day of install, installer supervisor stated that they could not do install but could on Sunday 12/6 with arrival between 7:30 & 8:00 am, again no show, but at 10:00 am a crew showed up and at this point I was concerned because there was still nothing to show regarding discount and invoice. The installers reached ***, I spoke with him and he could not guarantee work could be completed due to weather and no revised contract/invoice. *** said he would contact *** and call me back, no call and installers left. On 12/7, I called corporate headquarters made my complaint and was told I would be hearing from someone in the Baton Rouge office, also submitted an email online with all the same info as above and called our Salesperson *** whom I had originally sent an email too but no response as well, on that phone call she said at this point there was not much she could do but would talk to someone & call me by Wednesday 12/9. On Tuesday 12/8 I received a call from ***, said he could take off only $152.00 and could have an excellent crew install that day. After rearranging my schedule as an essential employee in the medical field I was home for the time to expect installers but had to call *** back because by 3:30 still no crew. I was told again he would look into & call me back. No call and crew showed up 15 minutes later. Windows were installed sloppy, damage was done to my window sills, caulk work was sloppy, & new windows were filthy. Outside area of my house had trash and broken glass. Next day a call was made to *** about installation and a repair charge of $75 not done. Due to damage and that charge another $175 was taken off of bill. Since then we still have not received an updated invoice/contract with paid in full status. Several attempts have been made via email and phone to *** and nothing. The amount we ended up paying after only $327 was reduced was $3325, at this point with no response or paid in full contract/invoice more could be discounted and refund check sent to us. Per advertisement/brochure/website professional installation is done and that was not done. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied. This company does not return calls or respond to emails. We have given every opportunity for responses and nothing as of 12/15.

Window World of Baton Rouge installed windows on May 6
Window World of Baton Rouge installed windows on May 6. I was told it was a one day job which included a final walk through with a field supervisor. The crew didn't show up until 1 1 am for 30 windows. When they showed up, they informed me that they did not have a ladder for the 2nd floor windows and asked if I had an extension ladder that they could use. I happened to have one, however, I informed them that it was not in good condition and probably should not be used. They said they needed a ladder and that it would be fine so they used it. Why would they show up to a job without the proper ladder and what would have happened if someone injured themselves while using my personal ladder? They then proceeded to go into my garage and take out our saw horses that were covered with a blanket without my knowledge. My husband noticed when he got home around 5 pm. When I asked, they said they didn't have any. They also unraveled and used one of our extension cords, again without my knowledge until I went outside and saw it. Again, I wonder why they would come to a job without proper equipment needed and what would have happened if someone would have injured themselves? They were breaking the windows out with hammers and pry bars causing glass to shatter on my tile, hardwood and concrete floors. The pry bars left gauges in my window sills. They did have a drop cloth, however, it was only about 4'x4' and not adequate for flying glass. The helper/cleaner they had with them came only with a small hand broom and dust pan and was only sweeping the area closest to the windows rather than the whole house as glass was shattering and flying across the floor. I had my 2 dogs at the vets office boarding just for the day as I was told that they would be done in 1 day. The vet closes at 6. At 5:30 they still had not installed all the windows meaning I could not go get my dogs and bring them home as they would be able to just jump right out the window holes. I had to call and extend their boarding, now paying for 2 days. My 2 small kids (5, and 1.5) were out of the house that day and were brought back at 6. I had an impossible time keeping shoes on my 1.5 year old who didn't understand there was glass everywhere so he had to keep shoes on. By 7:30, it was bath time and bed time for my kids as it was a school night for my 5 year old and they were still installing windows. I had to call my parents to come back, a 40 minute drive one way for them, to get the kids and bring them back to their house, for the night as the installation crew informed us at that point that they still had about 2-2.5 hours to go. This means my parents had to drive back and forth 3 times as they would have to come back to bring my 5 year old to school the next morning. At 8 pm, I called the field supervisor that was assigned to me, Brandon. He had never called nor checked in at all during the day. He did not answer or call back after I left a voicemail. I then started vacuuming my house to get the glass up as, again, they only brought a small hand broom and dust pan. I did my own glass/dirt clean up when it was their responsibility. It got dark outside and the crew was using cell phone flashlights to complete installation. This was not adequate so we provided them with flashlights, on top of everything else detailed above. Again, I ask, why not do this job in 2 days or come earlier. A company such as this should know how long each window takes to install and should schedule accordingly. At 9:30 pm I started getting phone calls from my neighbors as they were trying to go to bed and we still had installers banging on windows and making lots of noise. The crew left at 10 pm and had me sign a paper that installation was complete. I signed because, yes; our windows were completely installed but made a note that no final inspection or final cleaning was done and someone would need to come back to review the damages and poor installation. I asked if they would come back tomorrow to complete the cleaning and they told me no they would be on another job. Because of the late hour, they rushed on caulking and finishing up. A bunch of screens seem to not fit or were not installed properly as there are gaps where they aren't all the way in the frame. They left trash laying on the floor. The caulking is all uneven. Some spots so thick it took days to dry and my kids started picking and playing in it: Some spots so thin, they aren't properly sealed. Caulking is smeared on my windows and on my walls. They even caulked over mini blind brackets so we will have to re caulk when we remove the brackets for the new blinds I have ordered. It is beyond unprofessional to say it is a single day install and then be in someones home until 10 pm and rush the finishing. When *** Result for Image/Page 2 *** someone says single day install, you typically think they will be done by dinner time not 10 pm at night. This is a private home, not a commercial construction job site. The next morning and following days, I had to call in to work as I was doing all the clean up. I found 2 razor blades sitting in the middle of my driveway and my 5 year old found a 3rd one. There were nails all over our driveway and flower bed. There was glass all over my yard, driveway and flower bed of varying sizes, with the largest piece being about 8 inches, right on the edge of the driveway where my kid gets out of the car, besides all the glass on every stair and all over my house. A week after installation, my husband stepped on a piece of glass and had to dig it out of his foot. A couple days after that, while pulling weeds in our flower boxes on the 2nd floor my husband sliced his finger on a large piece of glass that was hidden in the dirt. We have been finding glass randomly since installation even up to 2 months after installation. My 1.5 year even picked up a piece and brought it to me, running. Thank god he did not trip and fall with that in his hand. The installers also left a pair of gloves sitting on our stairs which my 5 year old found and put on which I immediately took off because, germs. We also found that two of the window handles used to open the windows were dented. All of this would have been notated upon final inspection/clean up but that didn't happen as it was so late and dark outside. The morning after, May 7th, I tried to call the assigned field supervisor twice to no response. I then called the main office and got another field supervisor on the phone, Jaime. He says he would make sure our assigned one calls. Never happened. I called Jaime again the next day and again, he says we will get someone out there that this will all be taken care of. Again, never happened. On the 4th day after installation, I called and explained how disappointed and upset I was at the handling of this. I got a 2nd field supervisor that wasn't the assigned on the phone, ***, that says he is appalled to hear everything and he will take $1000 off our financing and will have someone out to my house in the next day or two to do the final inspection, cleaning and look at all the damages. Again, never happened. I called the office and Randy every other day for 3.5 weeks and still never got anybody out here. I got my 1st bill on June 7th and the $1000 credit was never removed. So, again, I called and called and called. No responses. Finally after over a month of dodged phone calls and empty promises, I called Wells Fargo on June 10 and disputed the charge. That same day, after Window World was notified that'l Was disputing the charge, then they applied the $1000 credit and called at 10 am to tell me that a field supervisor would be to my house in about an hour by 11 am. That field supervisor, ***, didn't call me until 4 pm saying he was on his way and he would be here by 6 pm. I had to turn him away and tell him not to come because my son had his last baseball game at 5 pm and I wouldn't be here at 6 pm. He said that *** hadn't texted him about coming out until 1 that afternoon after he had told me they would be here at 11 am. At this point, I had already disputed the charge so I left it in their hands. On June 25th, Joe from the Window World escalations department called me and says he will have a field supervisor out to me on June 30th. When he showed up, to my surprise, he was not a field supervisor but instead was a service technician here to fix the dented window handles. I called Joe back and stated how disappointed I was as I thought a field supervisor was coming out. His response was "well, we fixed the window so the issue should be resolved". That is the least of my worries, that window dent was small potatoes. Joe then calls me back at 4 pm and says he will have a field supervisor out to me within 2.5-3 hours, by 7 pm at the latest. This is not professional at all to have someone come out in the middle of dinner time. I informed him that this would not work as I have 2 small kids who go to bed at 7:30/7:45ish and I would not be able to go through everything with him. Joe then says he will have someone out to me on July 2nd. I informed him that I will be home until 2:30 pm but have prior engagements that afternoon. He said no problem, someone will be there. I got the emails confirming this appointment. July 2nd came and went. *** called me at 2:30 to inform me that he would be at my house in about an hour, by 4 at the latest. Once again, I had to turn him away. I told him I made it very clear to Joe that I am leaving my house at 2:30 and will not be available after that. It seems that nobody in this office has any regard for other peoples schedules besides their own. Is it too much to ask that within the, now, 2 month spread that someone come during reasonable business hoors? The $1000 credit was 0k with me when it was 4 days past installation, however, after all of this and *** Result for Image/Page 3 *** now 2 months past installation, that is just not adequate. This has been nothing but a nightmare and caused paranoia about being barefoot outside and mowing the yard fearing glass or nails will be thrown or hidden and stepped on. They did not complete the job as promised, showed up without the proper equipment needed, used multiple of our personal items with and without our knowledge, made me miss 6 days of work between cleaning and appointments for supervisors to come out that never showed. We have had 2 injuries and they put my kids and my pets in danger with all the glass, nails and razors.

They made the process of replacing my windows very simple. They showed me the best options for my property in consideration of building codes. They showed up on time. My windows arrived on time. The installation crew arrived on time, and finished the windows in a timely manner. The windows looked great and they gave me the best price of the many companies I called and the only company that showed up in person to give a estimate. Will definitely use again.
Window world did a great job installing windows at our family home. The installers were professional and did a great job. Response time was quick in setting up our appointment.
"Buyer be aware" I am writing this for anyone thinking about using Window World of Baton Rouge, La. My life has been a nightmare for these past four months. Consumers deserve better treatment.
I signed a contract with a salesman to have 8 windows installed in my granddaughter's home from Window World of Baton Rouge, La.
On March 9, 2022, the Window World windows were to be installed at 9 am; then 10:30 am; then 1:30 pm; then 3:30 pm. They had glass everywhere on tables, countertops, and furniture. I found slivers of glass for a long time. The workmanship was something I had never seen before. Such incompetent work. They carried a white five-gallon bucket around to install the overflowing caulk around the windows. What a mess? They cut the window trim too short; they damaged window trim and a repair guy had to come out to repair some of the damage on March 14, 2022. The workers damaged three of the window screens that had scratches and holes on them and they had to be replaced. The screens were installed on May 3rd. Four months of frustration from this company! My referral check came in on 07/25/2022 and was sent to Chauvin La (a 2 1/2 hour drive from my home).
