This is ridiculous the management are so disorganized. They have no clue on what they are doing. I've heard bad things from them before but to see if first Hand? It's ridiculous. I asked the manager for a product I'd like for them to carry. He seemed more busy talking to the other manager. And told me thats not his job and walked away. This is ridiculous. Maybe you guys should follow publix 's customer service skills.
unethical behavior from an associate
On the evening of 11/28/2017 I went into the Winndixie in Hammond, La 2302 W. Thomas St to the customer service desk to pick up money from Western Union. The associate that was helping me was having problems with the register she had asked for my ID 2 times at that point I was kinda pushing for time so I made a statement and said "omg everytime your in a rush something happens". The associate asked for my ID a 3rd time and JERKED it out of my hand at that point I became angry and asked the associate ... "did she have a problem don't jerk anything out of my hand" and by that time the Manager named Maci/Marci approached the register and I told her that the associate had jerked the ID out of my hand (in which Maci/Marci) did not see. Marci stated to me that the associate didn't mean too so I said yes she did and I was loud because at this point I'm upset. Marci gave me back my ID card & the western union paper and told me I had to leave the store I then told her i was going to call Corporate office, Marci then said that I was making threats and that she could call the police and I explain if calling corporate office is a threat then I'm calling and I left. As a Manager she took the associate side didn't even take into effect what I had told her about what the associate had done far as jerking the ID out of my hand. I didn't get the associate name BUT she was a white female with a short boyish haircut and she worked the customer service desk it was about 4:45pm or 5:00pm. The situation was handled poorly and unfair and i need to report this and talk to the store manager, and the district manager. I always go into Winndixie to pick up money and I NEVER had a problem before NEVER! If the associate can't handle customers she need to not work customer service it was rude of her to jerk anything out of my hand and I am very upset! And the manger need to be delt with because she didn't even know what the problem was she automatically judge the situation and didn't take into affect I was the customer and was being treated wrong!
First of nobody is going to snatch a ID out of my hand and I'm not going to get upset about it. Could I snatch something out of your hand and you walk away cool? I didn't leave out that I was loud when I reported what happen first of all! I admitted to that when I reported it to the store manager and the district manager. When I get upset I get loud so be it! The Id should not have never gotten snatch out of my hand bottom line and I don't care about going back to Winn Dixie it's plenty of more stores in the world I can go too :) I will still live if i don't go but guess what the store manager said for me to come back and the store manager also said it was more customers that day that reported those same employees to him! I know this reply coming from probably one of you that work in the store but I'm not going to go back and 4th with you on this board! I said what I had to say! When I walk in any store I am a customer first PERIOD! :) Have a good day! :)

Today October 29, 2017, my wife and I were treated with total disrespect and unwarranted behavior while ordering at the deli department. I asked the employee to place the wax papers between the cheese slices so the cheese would not stick to each other. At this point she replied angrily, " Do I have to do it for every slice." I said to the young lady not every slice but enough where the cheese would not stick to each other. As I proceeded to the end of the counter, again in a nasty tone of voice she asked is there anything else I wanted. I asked the young lady to come over towards me because I did not want to shout out my next order. I wanted to order some ham and there were three brands . I could not see the brand names of the ham and when I asked the employee the brand names of the items she just pushed two of the items from inside of the counter. The third item was in the front of the counter and I could not see the item because the price sign was blocking my view. I mentioned to her that I could not see the item and she said again in a nasty tone of voice, " Its right in front of you." She began to argue with me and then left from behind the counter to confront me. When she came around the counter she continued to argue with me while her co-workers was telling her to come back around the counter and go to the back. The employee continued to pursue and argument and ignored the coworkers suggestion to go to the back. I told her several time to get away from me in which she ignored also. By this employee working within the deli with access to knives and other sharp utensils, I did not know what she may have had in her hands. She was approximately three to four feet away from me with my wife standing between us. I asked for someone to get the manager several times and it took a few minutes for the manager to arrive. The manager name is Corey. Instead of the manager asking me what was the situation he immediately went to the back of the deli to speak, I guess, with the RUDE and DISREPECTFUL employee. After about five or so minutes, the manager came out to speak with me, in my opinion, in an accusatory manner. He was saying what a good worker this employee is but that does not negate the fact that she treated my wife and I with the UTMOST DISRESPECT. Not at one time did the manager apologize for the rude behavior of his subordinate. This is definitely an extreme lack of professionalism and misrepresentation of your corporations values and mission. My wife and I have been avid customers of this facility since 2010. This is the only supermarket that we do our grocery shopping. Twice a month my wife and I spend approximately six hundred dollars at this store for groceries. We either know most of the employees by name or by face. After this incident we will not be patronizing any of your facilities because of this store's disgusting customer service and treatment of regular customers such as my wife and myself. Your manager lacked the necessary training to handle situations like this and should be retrained in customer service or replaced. He handled this situation atrociously. The employee should be severely reprimanded or terminated because she left her duty station to approach me head on which could have placed my wife and I in grave danger since she has access to sharp utensils. I hope this issue will be address in a timely fashion so no other customer will have to go through what my and I have gone through.

prices are wrong, sales stickers are left up
This happens to me all the time... today at store2333 it was on the cheese. Sticker says 2.50 for SE cheese I bought 2 of them. I get to the register and it is 2.99 each. They go back and hold up the line and say that sale ended Wednesday. Today is Saturday. They give it to me for the 2.50, but TAKE THE STICKER DOWN. This has happened every week to me. meat department
Winn Dixie sold me two pieces of Lam shoulder chops on 10/6/17. Store number 0311 in Davie Florida. Manager's name was Winston who refused to gave up his last name. Winston refused to take meat back without receipt; even thought, he could pull it out from the computer by my reward card. So basically they denied their product. I was forced to go home to find a receipt, i did. My money were returned. I am just asking to let people know about this store. Watch what you are buying. This is despicable and unprofessional, treating your customer this way.

I just want to say that the cashier at 2411 south Pasadena twana is the best I never shop there before, but I can say I shopping there for now on she try her best to pleases every customer so thanks Winn Dixie, me being 79 year old I have never seen or meet anyone as nice as that cashier, before she cash me out it was a young white woman in front of me who total was $70.00 over what she had before she could say anything the cashier twana paid the rest without any words if that's was the most amazing thing I have seen in a long time thank you twana for caring

This is in reference to the location above. On 9/11/2017 around 5pm, I was standing outside this store - at the left entry level- waiting for my husband (who was inside finishing some purchases) when an employee from this store decided to roll down the shutters without advising me.
Knowing that I was standing there and without informing me, this employee turned on the switches and the shutter began to roll down over my head at the same time people behind me began to scream. Finally, I could realize what was happening and I stepped back.
My complaint here is the same as I addressed to this employee that afternoon and today - 9/12/2017- to the manager of this store, who by the way "attempted to justify" his employee action of neglect:
1-"Safety should be first at any location" 2-"communication is important to avoid incidents like this"
On 9/11/2017, I could have been hurt or died by an employee neglect action. This employee would have approached me and send me to back off before rolling the shutters. To make it worse, he was laughing...like enjoying the moment...
You may check the recording cameras to confirm ... and be advised that in cases like this Winndixie is 100% liable...
This is sad, I have lived in Palm Beach county my whole life and I just realized how much human qualities and professionalism this company is losing or missing... employees like this without qualifications or proper customer service training will always jeopardize the reputation of Winndixie.
I have attempted several times to contact Winndixie but their site / link "Contact Us" is not working.
I will monitor this issue because I am really upset and offended...My personal safety and my family members is always first.
My complaint may avoid future incidents with other customers.

I frequent the winn Dixie in seffner at MLK & Parsons, fl tonight I was in there and the power went out. No backup generator . We were all told to leave. Not one employee knew what the heck to do, so they told us all to leave and come back tomorrow. There were 20 of us...i chose to go to the other winn Dixie down the street, very frustrated I left there empty handed. When i got back at 10:20 the power was nack on but they refused to let me in to finish my purchase. THAT IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. I went to my car and sat for a few minutes in disbelief and saw 4 employees leaving to go home...thats the reason they would not let me in...they were all leaving. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT...THEY SHOULD ALL BE FIRED!

This winndixie is the worst winndixie I've ever been to. Me and my husband came here to buy some pizza crust. When I asked one girl her answer was "Its either in the frozen section or I don't know i dont even know if we sell that" (not even offering us to show us where it's at) then I asked another two employees, while I was asking the girl if she knew where the pizza crust was she said didn't know if they sold it either and said that the only thing that had was frozen pizza meanwhile the other employee was telling her in Spanish (because he thought i was stupid and didn't understand spanish) to tell me to go to Cicis pizza. I did NOT come to winndixie to ask uneducated employees where CICIS PIZZA was I came to ask for PIZZA CRUST. Not to mention when I walked in to the store these disgusting male employees were staring at me and made feel REALLY uncomfortable. I honestly don't know how these kind of people got hired. I ALWAYS come to this winndixie and don't deserve this kind of customer service. As an employee of store 51 I feel that I have a right to file a complaint for hours. I work as hard as anyone else and my co-workers keep calling out but they keep getting the hours, I understand that my availability has to be open enough for them to give me hours but as a minor that does not work for me. And yet again I just keep going back when they need me and I do not see a change and im getting frustruated. Managers keep saying that is the headquarters fault not theirs. But I have to say that is their fault as much as the headquarters because if they know a certain cashier/bagger is going to call out then they should simply just take him off the schedule and put someone who they KNOW is going to show up. I am a very responsable young man because that is the way that I was raised. My hours are HORRIBLE and yet again they get mad if someone calls out and im not available to go at the momment that they need me to.

I do not know where to start. I must admit that I keep repeating my mistake in coming here, thinking it will get better. Forget that... That ain't going to happen. The store I use on Bloomingdale Ave, Brandon Florida excels at providing that " what am I doing here again"experience...Lets start with the lack of product. selection from steak to toilet paper. Its like you would expect to see in an apocalypse, after all the food has been sold or stolden off the shelves. Whatever you came here for is gone. Management never plans for having the necessary stock on hand, but rather prepares for poor sales rather than planning for profit guys being the appropriate stock on hand ...From your embarrassed employees, including management, butchers all the way down to the clerks, only displays the plight of Winn Dixie...SAD.. One of my favorite peeves is you using a different label on many of your meat products appearing as a Winn Dixie brand (unknowing to the customer) actually being from Mexico. Can not find that info on your label? When you ask the butcher why the beef is "God awful", they say that's from Mexico, if you want the good meat look for this Winn Dixie label...Really! Really! Oh by the way it's not like the sale price is all that great anyway. Sadly our dogs will not eat it eathier, I kid you not...As I stated earlier this is prevalent across the store. Oh and let me not forget the insulting request to produce each and every time my ID to purchase beer or wine. Just another time delay occurring in the one or two lanes with lines of people reaching out into the isles. This makes your customers so very, very happy..Hey guys I am 50 and even though l understand the real reason is to data mine relevant info from the magentic strip, I Have to wonder if anyone has noticed the decreasing customer base that is getting sick and tired of this unnecessary harassment..Aparrently Not... A few days ago I purchased a 28oz container of Häagen-Dazs "dulce de Leche" caramel ice cream. Though it was 8+ $, I thought that I would splurge since I was in FL (live in NY) and it was warm. When I went to eat some of it that evening I noticed that it was icy (crytallized) and had a taste like it had been in the freezer too long. I was looking forward to the creamy rich texture Haagen Dazs normally has. After a couple more times of tasting it, and being disappointed, I decided to check the outdated on the container. I was shocked to find that the date on the bottom of the carton was March 12th, 2016. This explained the crystalline texture and off taste. What I cannot fathom is Winn Dixie selling ice cream this old. If I ever get ice cream at Winn Dixie again, I will be sure to check the outdated before purchasing.
cannot deliver requested/ordered goods
Ordered 8 cases various canned del monte fruit.
Called ahead and they said they had it.
They did not.
Had a few dozen canned goods in cart - not the whole order in boxes.
Time after time they cannot deliver what they say they will.
Benn there and tried this before over the last couple years.
They are not capable of handling transactions in a timely fashion.
Good service cannot be expected at winn dixie.
I suppose a $100 canned food order is nothing to them.

I was in winn dixie buying a cake when i was putting my pin number in i breathed to loud for your employee so she said in a nasty tone is there something wrong with you immediately i was offended and the girl acted like she was going to fight me i called the manager over and this thing came over long hair piercings in his face ( unbelievable) well next thing hes getting nasty with me and then snatched my cake out of my hands after fighting for the cake which was ridiculous to begin with i got my bag back and left shouting i was going to call the general manager as i was leaving he said i stole the cake, that i just paid for with my debit card and put my pin number in . He followed me out saying i stole the cake and got my liscense ? so i just called there to get both there names did not get them except his which is bryson h and i asked for the general managers number and he hung up on me.. I have only shopped winn dixie my whole life after today i will never go back to that winn dixie what an embarrassment.

Just terminate someone for no reason. Put them on the schedule knowing you haven't been working there and terminated me on purpose. Didn't call and let me know or nothing. I think this is unprofessional and Marianna Winn Dixie is good at doing this. But it's going to stop I been working there for three years should of never got terminated or even put on the schedule when they knew I couldn't work.
rude employer and items misplaced
When we went to buy some stuff for our family, such as some cookies, we went to one of the tables that were filled with the same brand, and it said Buy one get one free. When we are at home we checked it and saw that they didn't put the cookies as buy one get one free. So the next day we went and tried to explain it to the manager. She said it wasn't their fault that there was a big part of the table that had the buy one get one free sign had the cookies. That we were the ones to blame. As we went to talk to the manager "Juliana", she decided to start talking on the phone since we were there. She purposely ignored us by getting the phone'.
She was right. Winn Dixie stores tables are divided into two sale items, each clearly marked. One is BOGO, the other a sale price. Two types of cookies on the same divided table will each have a particular advertised price. You picked up the single priced item instead of the bogo.
tv commercial
Currently there is an annoying television commercial for Winn Dixie markets with dance and music similar to Dolly Parton's 9-to-5. The commercial is grossly overplayed on WMOR; it has ridiculous dance and lip sync-ing which almost make me retch each time I see it.
The stations should be fined for giving it so much play. The sponsor should be fined for the content...or the ad agency, which should be ashamed.
The current TV commercial has got to go. Focuses of the 2 nut jobs more than the store and its prices. Don't know if it's some kind of woke message. It is very annoying. Every employee that I have spoken with agree that they are tired of it. They hear that all day. Feel sorry for them. We are adults so please treat us like one. All other grocery store commercials are more mature. That is the only complaint that I have. The Winn Dixie that we shop at is awesome. Employees are extremely happy to help and the bathrooms are always clean. Best store in Lake County. When your commercial comes on the TV, I have to change the channel, so we don't have to listen to that noise.

I was given a blank receipt for my $83 purchase. When I asked the cashier for a new receipt she told me her receipt printer was not working and I would have to see customer service. Customer service rep told me she did not know how to re-print receipts. She called the manager and he said he could get me a receipt. He went into a back room and did not come...
