Terrible company to work with I purchased a *** using Woodside Credit
Terrible company to work with I purchased a *** using Woodside Credit. This was on March 17th. It is now September 2nd and I still cannot get my Lisc plates or registration for the car. Terrible company. Please look at the reviews. This appears to happen over and over again.
*** I applied for financing through this company for a 99,000 car they tried to get my to finance the interest in the amount of 32,000
I applied for financing through this company for a 99,000 car they tried to get my to finance the interest in the amount of 32,000. Which ended making the sale price of the car 134,000 over a ten year period they wanted the money up for the interest. This company is a fraud watch out
I used Woodside Credit to finance my *** in June . They were supposed to take care of the registration. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and now April and still haven't been able to register the car. Phone call after phone call and I haven't received anything but the run around. They told me 3 times that they'd overnight me temporary plates until they get a duplicate title... Never recieved 1 temporary plate! Not only did Woodside Credit lose the title and never registered the car but they sold my loan to another company! I've maintained full coverage insurance this entire time and haven't missed a single payment! I threatened to not make another payment and they stated that they will repossess the vehicle and report me to all credit agencies!

Worst financial type company I've ever dealt with. Alex is the rudest and most arrogant person I've talked to on the phone in my life. Paid them $995 to register the car in my home State of NC and they took it upon themselves to title the car in Montana to an LLC which cost them $140. The *** won't except the title so I can't get plates. But I did receive a huge amount of tough guy attitude from Alex.

Woodside Credit offered me an auto loan at the end of last year (2019). The offer included their vehicle registration services as requirement in order to process the loan. I had no interest in the registration services but went with the offer to satisfy the requirement. I submitted to them a VIN verification, smog check and power of attorney within a couple days of having the vehicle then I was told by a representative named Ruth that the indicated power of attorney, which they provided, was wrong. I attempted to contact Ruth about this but the provided phone and E-mail contacts were no longer in service. Therefore, I had to contact an associate of Ruth, and Teresa responded to my call and E-mail informing me that the power of attorney provided was correct. After a couple weeks of waiting for my registration to complete, I was told by Ruth, who somehow reappeared, that I needed another power of attorney with a couple weeks remaining of my temporary registration. I asked for refund of my notary cost to complete the power of attorney then got in touch with a supervisor, Alexander, who told me that another power of attorney is not needed and an addendum will be created in order to use the current power of attorney. I was also told that registration will be complete within a week as ETA and that a gift card will be provided for the problems described. After the ETA has passed, I contacted Alexander again who informed me of another delay, and the registration is to be completed and the associated license plates to arrive next Monday. The plates did not arrive on the Monday, multiple additional calls and E-mail messages were placed to expedite service as my temporary registration has expired and I needed alternate transportation while waiting for the plates. The plates eventually arrived, but the whole process took over a month with tremendous effort, inconvenience, dealing with rudeness and misleads, and persistence to move services along. The gift card has not arrived so far. Do I have to remind them again? I warn you, try to avoid use of Woodside Credit; otherwise, you may be in for an aggravating hassle.
Very rude and unprofessional company
Very rude and unprofessional company. They denied by application despite having a 800 credit score. I have no credit card debt, no student loans, mortgage is payed off , and no current car loan. I also planned on putting down a 30 % , instead of the 15% required. When I called to see the reason for the denial and they were outright rude. I asked to speak with a manager and never received a call or email back. I was approved the next day by *** and ***. Stay clear of this company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Like many others I waited months to get my tabs and plates. I filed complaints with my home state *** and the ***. Woodside received my complaint from my state's *** first. That day Woodside contacted me and had a check for the plates and tabs and paperwork to get the plates and tabs sent to me overnight. Problem solved. The *** recommended that I file a complaint with the ***. I will do that today or tomorrow too. The *** will keep my complaint on file and may contact me me again in the future should it appear that further investigation would be in the public interest.

After approval was forced to use their approved pre-purchase company and billed me, the pre-purchase company failed to do a proper inspection, items were overlooked that caused me almost $13,000 in loss after the purchase. I had issues right away after I took delivery and immediately reached out to the Woodside Credit for support, while I was broke down. Wouldn't take my calls for 3 days, when they did answer they sold my loan to an *** bank. Oregon bank was not told about the issues and are equally upset. I escalated the problem to the *** of operations at the bank and he simply told me what I wanted to hear and did nothing. Refuse to take calls or answer emails. This is bad business practices showing no regard for customers finances. They still hold a lien as well. I filed a complaint but their practices is if they let it time out then the complaint doesnt post. So if you have an issue with them, they will not respond to a complaint. The owner of the bank told me to take down my post on ***. Strange world, the bank that has your loan won't take your calls or emails, but they *** behind a computer and sling soft threats. "

Like many others, I waited months to get my tabs and plates. I filed complaints with my home state's consumer protection agency and the federal consumer rights bureau. Woodside received my complaint from my state's consumer protection agency first. That day, Woodside contacted me and had a check for the plates and tabs, along with paperwork to get the plates and tabs sent to me overnight. Problem solved. The federal consumer rights bureau recommended that I file a complaint with the national transportation oversight committee. I will do that today or tomorrow as well. After approval, I was compelled to use their sanctioned pre-purchase company and subsequently received a bill from them. Unfortunately, the pre-purchase company did not conduct a thorough inspection, resulting in overlooked issues that led to nearly $13,000 in losses following the purchase. Immediately after taking delivery, I encountered problems and sought assistance from Woodside Credit, but to no avail as I was stranded with a non-operational vehicle. My attempts to contact them were ignored for three days. When they finally responded, they informed me that my loan had been transferred to a different bank. The new bank, located in Oregon, was not informed of the existing issues and shared my frustration. I took my concerns to the head of operations at the bank, who offered reassuring words but failed to take any action. My attempts to communicate further were met with silence; they neither accepted calls nor replied to emails. This demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer financial well-being and is indicative of poor business ethics. Moreover, they continue to hold a lien on the purchase. I lodged a formal complaint, but it seems their tactic is to let the complaint expire without action, preventing it from being posted publicly. Therefore, if you have a grievance with them, do not expect a response. The bank's owner even instructed me to remove my online complaint. It's a peculiar situation when a bank that manages your loan refuses to engage in direct communication, yet is quick to issue veiled threats through digital correspondence.
