Paid for travel insurance. Filed a claim over a month ago. Absolutely no phone contact or calls back to get refunded. Daughter became severely ill and progressively worsened, Submitted all documents. Canceled with priceline, canceled with American, sent all receipts, sent medical proof. Still no resolve. Going to move to complain with priceline, BBB, and insurance board if I don't get a refund.
Claimed loss: Approximately 850.00
Desired outcome: Full refund for flight cancelation.

Hello Everyone,
These were the steps that I took, I began mentioning the CEO in messaging to them, I reviewed that I had sent all the necessary documentation through, I reported all the places that I left complaints, and I messaged and communicated very often. I requested additional reviews, I submitted any additional information to include every possible detail that supported my case. They in fact seem like they bully people into denying claims. I believe that if a consumer buys the protection that covers illness of yourself or a family member they need to live up to that agreement in the contract. I would continue to push back and communicate with them in every way possible, text, email, and through the portal. It's unfortunate we have to fight so hard, but in the end - I did get reimbursed. I hope you all find successful outcomes as well.
Continue following up with xCover, requesting an update on your claim status. Ensure all your documentation is clearly submitted. If responses are still delayed, reaching out through their social media channels can sometimes prompt a quicker response. Escalate the issue to a manager if possible. If there's no resolution, moving your complaint to higher authorities like the insurance board, as you mentioned, can be your next step. Keep a detailed record of all your interactions and submissions for reference.

I have been having The same issues. No communication and NOTHING on their site to reach anyone, no phone numbers. no emails and manager names etc. The main person in their NY office is Darcy Rittenger I am also contacting the CEO of Priceline Brett Keller. If I don't hear from anyone in a week I will head up a Facebook group called XCOVER FRAUD and try to get enough members to start a class action lawsuit. Anyone interested look for it on Facebook.
