I received an email from South Africa stating I won 820, 000 dollars. This scam, as I have read, has been going on for years. I am here again to add to the hundreds of complaints that I am certain you have received over the years.

I want u to stop sending ads in my email box, this is very annoying, just stop.

We have our website hosted on Yahoo Small Business India since 2010. For the past 10 days, the website is not working and all the emails are getting bounced. We are unable to communicate with our clients and suppliers. Multiple complaints made and we receive only automated responses with Incident IDs [protected], [protected], [protected]). No response to the complaints or no solutions yet. Yahoo Small Business India is putting our business to stake. If we call the Toll Free number, the waiting time is exceedingly long. Every year, they keep increasing the fees, but the service quality is going down every year.

I bought two books from the website www.styleguide.yahoo.com. I received the confirmation email and the tracking number of my order, which turned out to be fault. I sent several emails to this company, but I haven’t received any response. My order also didn’t arrive. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

I have been told by job- in@europe66.com to communicate with my employers but it is very difficult for me to communicate with them through yahoo messenger. Is it possible to tell them to communicate through emails which is very easy for me if so how can I tell them? Please help me to communicate with them.

About 2002 I applied and paid for a website with Yahoo / Geocities.

After some months I realized the YAHOO GEOCITIES system was incompatible with mine. No pages could be viewed. I was based in the UK at the time.

I tried countless times to make contact with zero results.
Eventually I tried to obtain a refund. Again Zero results. Requests for them to contact me were also ignored.

I was acting for a registered charity in the UK and did not approve of our paying for zero results.

Not a large amount was involved but we resent paying money and receiving nothing and "NO CO-OPERATION". I think was around $80.

My office had been using yahoo voice for quite some time now to make overseas calls. Before it used to be that when the phone on the other line rings, yahoo does not charge as long as no one picks up the call and as long as you are able to cancel the call within 60 seconds.

Nowadays, after upgrading to yahoo messenger 9, we noticed that the moment the phone rings, yahoo already charges your for a minute call block. We checked this when we loooked at our phone out logs. It is crazy! ouor credit just goes away like water.

Another thing that we noticed is that yahoo always adds an extra 3 seconds to your talk time after you finish the call. Say if you cancel the call on the 58th second, when the meter registers after you cancel the call, it will say that you talked for 1 min and 1 second. The problem with this is that yahoo charges on a per minute basis! so you end up still paying for two minutes instead of one!

I found LauwenPurpleyahoo.com advertisement on the internet and I talked with the guy from their customer service. I have been able to verify with the Army that this guy provided is completely false. Help me to stop them.

I just want to complaint about the recent sms on my mobile that I received saying that I have won US$ 2 million in lottery held by Yahoo/msn UK and to contact Dr.Brian Cole. I knew it was too good to be true but same time amused also thinking who would be so generous to throw away money to some complete strangers. Moreover I had never taken part in this lottery nor given my number to any. When I logged on to the above website just out of curiosity( perhaps greed also) I saw the Complaint board site and logged on to it. I saw to my amazement that I was not the only one who had been sent the similar sms . I feel sorry for those who have fallen into such traps and sent personal information but at the same time warn others to be careful. I just hope such websites or fake people would be arrested and charged accordingly.

I saw all your negative comments warning against yahoo voice. All these comments are a year ago or older. Did Yahoo Voice ever get it together for you? Or did you find another service that works? One says Skype is better. I was trying to find out about Skype. I can't tell if their message taker gives you a phone number like yahoo voice or does it work off your home phone number? Is the phone company involved? I found some service before that required you to buy service from the phone company, so I never got that working. If anyone can tell me anything it'd be great. It'd be great if you had the option to pick up like yahoo voice, but even just messages will help.
I really need to get another phone number online or a message taker. I need to not miss calls when I'm online. I can't be unreachable, but I need to use the computer. And DSL cost has been killing me. I finally had to stop.

This started when I noticed that some unknown persons were using my address to sen mails to people, advertising some products unknown to me. I tried changing my password once and again. At a time, I forgot my password. Since then, efforts to access that mail box has failed. The last time I nearly succeeded, I was told that that user ID does not exist.

Ive had Yahoo email for years. Only recently did they incorporate a new "service" whereby email that is composed for sending becomes saved into a drafts folder. Every few minutes the draft becomes the copy to be sent, so if you are editing your email the Yahoo service sends out the draft and not the edited version. So here I am sending out cut parts of email or even empty emails to people. What a joke. Yahoo Customer service is useless. Why is Yahoo so popular- good riddens.
