Yodle Found 98% were BAD reviews

Was contacted by their rep who proceeded with a 45 minute sales pitch. Did not like the pressure and the hurry up gotta do it today attitude. Declined to sign on their program. Went to this site to read reviews of others. Found 98% were BAD reviews. Thank goodness I did not move forward with their arm twisting.

Hi – my name is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the experience you had with the sales rep that contacted you. Having said that we do have 30, 000+ small business customers that are using Yodle’s online marketing platform to grow their businesses. I respectfully encourage you to go to the following links to see just some examples of local businesses that have benefited from working with Yodle - http://www.yodle.com/success-stories/ and http://www.facebook.com/Yodle/app_7146470109. Please feel free to contact me at either [protected] or rmoss@yodle.com if you would like to discuss anything with me. Thank you.

Yodle Terrible experience with Yodle

Terrible experience with Yodle. I used their services for one month, then decided that my advertising dollars would be better spent elsewhere. I called to cancel my account several days before my month was up. They put a high-pressure salesman on the phone who became more and more rude, patronizing, and disrespectful. I finally insisted that he cancel my account. He said it was done and hung up on me. Several days later, I see a charge on my credit card for another month's service. I called Yodle customer service and was told that yes, their records indicated I had cancelled, and that they would reverse the charges. That was several days ago, but the charge is still on my account. I have now had to dispute the charges with my bank. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Wow...wish I had seen all these reviews prior to getting involved with Yodle! High pressure sales tactics, promises of being on the front page of the major search engines and then not being there and being left pretty much right by myself to set up the website without any professional advice (I am a building contractor not a website designer!) on what works or looks the best has been my experience so far. It's been 6 weeks since I started with Yodle and I have received only 3 calls from my web page. Two from other companies like Yodle and one from someone who wanted a service other than what I provide. I spoke to a Yodle representative and he told me that getting three calls in 6 weeks was great because it takes 60 - 90 days to get my website ramped up to the point where I will start getting a return on my investment! NOT QUITE WHAT I HAD IN MIND BASED ON WHAT I WAS TOLD BY THE HIGH PRESSURE SALESPERSON!

RIP OFF! Service promises your company will be on the front page of all the major search engines. I signed up and mine NEVER WAS. Service is garbage. Did not deliver anything for the $$$$ wasted. RUN RUN FAST!

The same verbatim as the reviews I have read. Lot of money. Little return. Poor customer service. Only one thing to add, this service borders on scam.

Hi Michele, this is Jasmine from Yodle. As I have noted in other communications to you, Yodle gladly respects your decision to choose which services will work best for your business. To that end, I have verified that you were issued a refund last week on October 5th. I understand that it can be hard to wait for these things to appear, but generally refunds can take 5-10 business days to appear back on your card or bank statement. It has been three business days and we appreciate your patience in this matter. If you do not see your refund in this time frame, I would be happy to help rectify any further issues. I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience you may feel because of the time it takes to process these things, but if there is anything else I can help with, please reach out to me at [protected]. All the best.

Yodle This is one reason the U.S. has problems, dishonest organizations

Scam, they built my website and promised to maintain it for a nominal fee, after being ripped off $1500.00 for their "we will get you leads proposal", they said if I ever was unhappy and wanted to cancel, that the domain name that belonged to me would be handed over. Well, didnt happen, they cancelled me with no notification, and when tried to find out why, they said that I actually cancelled the service. He said she said ordeal. So I asked for my domain name and information so I can get my website back up and Yodle said sorry, you have to go elswhere and purchase it. I can go on, but am getting frustrated just mentioning this whole ordeal. Stay away, from this company, this is one reason the U.S. has problems, dishonest organizations. Thanks for nothing Yodle.

Can you get back at Google easily if you have been legitimately wronged?
Mr moss Are you stating that
1. You provide detailed statements to clients how much each Google click costs Yodle and how much you mark up same?
2. You do not sell free google products like local listings/ map as ppc?
3. Youdo not "hijack" local listings by placing your own phone number on them?
You can strike back at Yodle if you have been wronged and they have acted in the ways stated on this board- which are violations of Google Partners and without a relationship with Google Yodle will be hurting.
I am very serious here these steps below can really have a strong BITE so use them if you have been legitimately wronged and it will hurt them.

Here is the best way to get these guys thrown off google

Go to this link for a Google complaint
http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/request.py?&contact_type=gap_complaint

1. Make a third party adwords complaint telling Google they misrepresented themselves as being part of Google. This is a BIG no no and will get Googles attention and may get you some satisfaction (refund if you are owned etc)
On the complaint form specify that this company told you they were GOOGLE when they called (if that is what you feel has happened)
On the complaint form let Google know you have complained (see below) to the BBB and attorney generals office
http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/request.py?&contact_type=gap_complaint

ALSO make a similar complaint if you were not shown EXACTLY what Yodle paid for those links from Google and if your local listing has been HIJACKED with a different number put on them.

It is a violation of Google Partner policy to charge you for calls for sign ups from things that you should be getting free like local listings and map listings.
2. Make a complaint to the bbb (bbb.org) about Yodle if you have been wronged.
3. Make a complaint to the Attorney General in Your state AND New York where Yodle is located
4. Make a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and dispute the charge if they fraudulently charged their card.

It is most important that you fill out the Google Form and also Yodle MUST SHOW you how much THEY PAY FOR CLICKS-- if they do not Yodle is in violation of Google Policies and this will get you the relief you need

Stop letting these guys ruin and take advantage of small businesses

Yodle After speaking to the very rude Andrew Lampron we will not use Yodle

Our company was looking to join Yodle. After speaking to the very rude Andrew Lampron we will not use Yodle. Andrew only cared to make a sell. Andrew couldn't shut his mouth long enough to answer any questions regarding my concerns or the package deal they were offering our company. Yodle is over priced for the services they offer and with only a whooping 3 zipcodes. Our company has joined a company for half the price and a much bigger radius of territory.

Hi – my name is Radley Moss and I am the Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I saw your comment and wanted to address the key issues that you raised.

While no form of marketing or advertising is effective 100% of the time, we here at Yodle are proud of the work we do for our 30, 000+ small business customers, the large majority of which are reaping considerable benefits from working with us. You can see some examples of Yodle success stories – where companies have significantly grown their businesses as a result of using Yodle for their online marketing – at the following links: http://www.yodle.com/success-stories/ and http://www.facebook.com/Yodle/app_7146470109.

Regarding some of your other comments, Yodle is fully compliant with all Google policies. We provide information to our clients on their personalized dashboards about what we pay to Google on their behalf. Furthermore, we are also very transparent about our relationship with Google. We have strong policies that prohibit employees from misrepresenting Yodle’s offerings or relationships but are proud to let small businesses know that Yodle is a Google AdWords™ Premier SMB Partner. We are one of just 16 companies that has this relationship with Google, a designation that represents the latest collaboration between Yodle and Google and provides added value to our customers. You can find more information at the following links - http://www.google.com/ads/premiersmbpartner/advertisers.html and http://www.google.com/ads/premiersmbpartner/advertisers-findpartner.html#tab=partner-yodle-com.

Finally, we only take over and charge for local and Maps listings if a customer has signed up for the Yodle SEO product offering. We always talk to the customer about what that process entails and how we optimize their listings.

Yodle’s approach as a company is to be completely transparent on the ROI that we deliver to our customers and to show them the value that we deliver. You or anyone else is welcome to contact me at rmoss@yodle.com or [protected] if there are any questions regarding anything I mentioned in this comment.

Yodle You get nothing for your money

I echo the sentiment of most of the other reviewers. It sounds good up front, but you get nothing for your money. They "pretend" to help you, but it does not improve. The few calls I received were wrong numbers, or calls after hours who did not leave messages. I suspect that they could have even been calls from bogus callers, as well as emails from bogus emailers, set up by Yodle to make itself look better. When I returned calls or emails, I never received a response back. Stay Away! Run, don't walk!

Yodle When you want to cancel, they will not refund your money

Yodle is horrible, all I get is someone that wants a job or other contractors! When you want to cancel, they will not refund your money, and you have to speak with your account manager to cancel, so if your account manager is away on vacation, they you are left to waste your hard earned money! Everything that yodle does, you can do it for the fraction of the cost yourself, just ask someone that knows a little about the internet. They try to control your google place where you dont have access to update because they dont give you the password.

Stay away!

Yodle They knocked my website right off the map and put up their site with their phone number

Horrible! dont ever let anyone take over your advertising. They knocked my website right off the map and put up their site with their phone number so anyone who googles your biz gets their phone number not yours. they would not taylor the site like they said, they put up this half ### site and just leave it there, they would not even cancel it after we begged them and now I have to sue them to get rid of them. GREAT ADD PEOPLE. $#*! YODLE.

I am having the same issue. DO NOT LET YODLE ADVERTISE FOR YOU! I canceled my service with them and asked for them to transfer my Google Maps listing. They said that they would transfer my Google Map Listing to me and that it would only be 1 or 2 days before google emails me the transfer confirmation. It has now been over a week and Yodle's only reply to me was "it could possibly be in your spam folders?" OF COURSE I CHECKED MY SPAM FOLDERS BEFORE EMAILING YOU! I emailed twice since then and Yodle has not replied.

See email chain below:
Initial Email from Yodle after I canceled my account with them:
Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. We are sorry that we were not able to come to a solution that would allow you to continue your Yodle account. This email confirms your xxxxxx account has been cancelled and you will not be billed moving forward, and the remaining of your prepay will be run out over the remaining months.

Also, there will be an email sent to you about releasing the business listing to you. That email must be followed up with the actions in it within 7 days of receiving that email or the listings will be lost.

If you have additional questions about your account or want to restart your advertising, please don’t hesitate to contact our team at (xxx) xxx-xxxx.

Thanks again for your business and have a great day!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My email to Yodle after I did not receive Google transfer email:
Good afternoon xxxxx,

Someone called me from Yodle the same day you canceled my yodel account. They wanted to confirm what email address I wanted them to send the Google business account ownership transfer to. They told me I should be receiving an email to confirm I am taking ownership of my google business account by that afternoon, or the next day. I still have not received an email from google to transfer my account to me. Can you follow up and figure out why.

Thanks,
xxxxxxxxxxxx
----------------------------------------------
Here is Yodles reply:
Hey Xxxxxx,

Thank you for reaching out to me.

I went and talked to my maps department about this. They said that the email will be coming from Google itself, not us and that if it's not in your email yet that it could possibly be in your spam folders.

Thank you again for contacting me.

xxxxx xxxxxx
Loyalty Manager

-------------------------------------------------
After this I have emailed them twice with no reply. I also contacted google and they said it is up to the owner of the account to transfer it or not. I am currently looking into suing Yodle and making a complaint to the BBB.

Yodle Morgan rigsbee and page bauer should be put in jail for no ethics

I fell for a pushy sales person crying on the phone. If you are reading this and is comteplating doing business with this company "STOP". They will claim every listing about your business online with a phone number and will get you 11-30 calls a month, but not one good customer. They will have existing customers that are looking up your phone number or address to call through their number and will claim that as a lead. Everytime I complaint to my internet sales person she would come up with some bull crap about how they are improving our leads by updating some keyword rich content and the google algorithm blah blah blah... Morgan Rigsbee and Page Bauer should be put in jail for no ethics.

Yodle Avoid these lying, cheating, people at all costs

6 months and not a single qualified call. When I try to cancel they tell me to give it another month, so I do. Still not a qualified call. Then when I try to cancel they tell me I have to give them another 30 days notice even though I already gave them the notice. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and I get this email response from Jason.

"That is your choice. I am the supervisor and the buck stops with me.

Jason Howell

Avoid these lying, cheating, people at all costs. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Yodle Their latest scam seems to be preying on small businesses with existing Adwords accounts

Their latest scam seems to be preying on small businesses with existing Adwords accounts and making it sound like they are a division of google that works in "click fraud" and they will help you fix all the fraudulent click activity that you get from your competitors. When I asked if they are an actual subsidiary of google, they started back peddling and said they are a "PST" part of google and said that they are a "preferred partner" with google and that google actually works with them to get the latest "click fraud algorithms" from them (yodle). So I asked, google actually gets their own click fraud technology from yodle? "Well, I can't actually say that they use our technology, but we meet with them regularly to go over our stats". This smelled of BS on all levels.. Stay away from these scammers!

Hello – my name is Radley Moss and I am the Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I’d be interested in finding out who you spoke to at Yodle and if there’s any further detail you can provide me about what happened during the conversation. If you’re open to that, would you mind contacting me at [protected] or rmoss@yodle.com? Yodle has a policy in place that strictly prohibits misrepresentation and I would like to get as much information as possible to clarify if the information you received falls under that category. I do though want to mention a couple of things. Yodle became a Google AdWords Premier SMB Partner (the abbreviation is “PSP, ” not “PST” as it sounds like you may have misheard) earlier this year. The designation represents the latest collaboration and development of a strategic partnership between Yodle and Google. Specifically regarding our approach to click fraud, we have processes in place where we monitor our client accounts to ensure that there are no unusual activities and alert our search engine partners, including Google, if we see anything that we’re concerned about.

Yodle Fraud & Scam/do not give your credit card to them! N

Marketing rep convinced my partner of changing over from local reputable marketing place to them since they claim to have more resources/tools to market our firm. He gave them credit card and commited at 1500/month for 3 months. Omg our calls went from 3-4 paying calls turned into clients to absolutely not one call in relation to our target/specialty. It appears to be a sweatshop scam I reviewed employee rated website fr their employees...while our small business is closing their employees are getting 401k, party atmosphere with others hard earned money...it is now too late for us yet they continue to suck money out. Beware as I now convinced they have their own employees clicking on keywords - stay away unless you want to take long vacation and lose everything you have worked for.

Yodle Stay away from this online scam

A telemarketing sales guy went over the product online, he was one of those top closer after I told I have tried similar services and it did not work for my services in my region, he could not take no for an answer. Finally after 30 minutes I asked him to send me his contact information and some of the presentation material for me to review before making a decision on a $2, 000/month contract but he refused and said "the ONLY thing I can send you is contract for you to sign". That was when I hung up on him! stay away big scam!

Yodle Breach of contract

Promise you the world and deliver next to nothing. As with most Internet ad scams your representative will change weekly as these companies have a high turnover rate. They got my number through service magic and said if I wasn't on the first page of various search engines I wouldn't pay for their services. Guess how that worked out. In 5-6 months time they brought me 7 calls. Good number except these were all seo and Internet marketing firms. Basically this service is useless. Web design by there team of experts looks like they hired my 7 yr old to design the page. Please do not waste money with these people

Yodle Stay away from these guys

A Yodle rep contacted me and hounded me for weeks to get me to sign up. High pressure sales pitch that glossed over some very important details. They never tell you exactly what you will be charged for, i.e. phone calls from prospects, mark up on adwords clicks. I have had one paying customer from the Yodle leads. That covered my monthly cost with them, and I am hoping they can produce at least that much more over the next two months so that their [censored] program will at least pay for itself.

Yodle doesn't make you sign a one year contract, thank God. But I am stuck with them for two more months. The day that period is up I will cancel their service.

I am an attorney and internet leads are a must for the type of law that I practice. I was actually doing better when I ran my own adwords campaigns. Yodle doesn't seem to be able to produce.

If you are a small business owner and are thinking of hiring a firm to run your adwords campaign, don't hire Yodle. If you break even, you will be lucky. If you don't break even, you could go broke paying their exorbitant fees. In fact, don't hire any company to do your campaign. Take the time to develop a list of keywords and some ad copy and just do it yourself.

I can understand your frustration, however if just coming up with keywords and copy was all that was needed, many local businesses would be enjoying tons of traffic reaching their site, and converting this traffic into real paying customers. The hard truth is the net is changing at an almost dizzying pace these days, more so than at any other time since it was created, and if you're not in tune with these changes, avoiding certain aspects of the online world, wile taking advantage of others - you're always going to be banging your head against the wall.
I work with local businesses out in NYC and I'm not going to hard sell you or pitch you my services, I'm just letting you know that if you find someone who can provide real value and knows what you're trying to achieve, you'll have a much better experience. Believe me, there are some people in this local marketing industry that provide incredible amounts of value for what the amount they charge. Ffind one of these people and you'll wonder why you hooked up with a big box company in the first place.
Ok, I fibbed, soft promo here, head on over to my blog to get my take on what's cooking online - marcusroman (dot) net. Hope you find what you're looking for, take care - Marcus

Yodle They promise the moon but can't meet half of what they promise

Scam, scam, scam. They promise the moon but can't meet half of what they promise. They called me and tried to ask me to continue and the sales rep had no idea what kind of business I have. They go through sales reps and managers on a weekly basis. My initial "web optimizer" was so rude and abrasive that I had to ask for a new one to be assigned. Her name was Cassie Jones and she was the most unprofessional person I have worked with in years. WASTE OF MONEY!

Seems about right. The truth is... Yodle might work for you, it might not. All Yodle PPC accounts are managed in the same way; They operate according to "best practices" - defined by them, based on their knowledge of industry best practices. They won't tailor your campaign to do what's best for you; Yodle's goal is to onboard as many clients as possible & keep as many as possible (and spend as little money possible managing your account) - BUT - if it doesn't work for your business, you shouldn't expect them to tell you that. Like I said, they want to keep as many paying clients as possible. Their account executives will try to keep you on board as long as they can; their job depends on it.

My advice? Educate yourself about PPC advertising (ie. AdWords) & SEO. Thats what I did after realizing Yodle didn't work for me. And don't trust their knowledge - most know very little about how PPC works.

And, if you want the most out of Yodle - DONT BACK DOWN! - make them work for you. make them think you'll spend more money if they do "X", give them a hard time, tease them by spending a little more, and push them harder. learn to negotiate without pissing of your lowly account executive who gets paid next to nothing by Yodle. AND, if you are ever transferred to a manager by the name of KENT WARREN, insist that you will not do business with him. Trust me, you will get nowhere.

Yodle Scam

I recieved a call out of the blue from this guy named Preston from Outrank one day. He gave his sales pitch and I listened. Being a new business I was looking for a good way to advertise and this sounded good. Preston was a good salesman, very persistant and made my advertising ideas seem stupid. After 30 mins he convinced me to sign up. Said they would make me a website that would generate tons of good leads for me and I wouldn't have to do a thing except complete the jobs. Preston said he would be my acct rep and I can deal directly with him. After a couple weeks I've had 4 different reps contact me, red flag! The last rep I talked to was Javier and he was a complete ###. He stumbled over his script the whole time, didn't have a clue what I did or anything about my business. He told me to check out my new website and I did. It was complete garbage. It looked terrible, didn't offer the services I provide, the colors were not colors of lawn company. The URL they picked was stupid, my company's name was not in it and I know it's available because I searched domain names. Thats when I plugged them into google. I seen they have tons of thousands of complaints about them. After reading a few of them I cancelled my service with those crooks and closed my bank card so they can't take any more money from me. Don't use them! I lost $190.

Leslie Wieseman cold called me about signing up for their service. She pitched that they had to prove themselves every month because there is no contract and I would be happy with the results and want to keep them active. At the end she insisted I give her my credit card info. I said why don't you prove yourself first? I also said I will not give out my credit card info to a cold caller. She continued to high pressure me for the card info so I hung up. She called back not once or twice, but 15 times! I let them all go to voicemail and not one message was even left.

After six months of advertising costs resulting in only one lead we decided to cancel the service. (They will string you along saying that they need time to optimize your site to get it on the front page ). Outrank produced a .org template web site that was awful looking. They promised to use optimized words and key phrases to capture the front page on bing, yahoo, and google (only promising one of the three). We were only viewable with very specific key word on yahoo and bing(never viewable on google) After trying to convince us to stay on, the representative realized that we were cancelling for good he got very aggressive on the phone.

When you research a company name from Google and a complaints board website comes up on a higher ranking than the companys website itself... you know you have a problem. People are taking the time (like myself) to warn others of the deceptive sales pitch of this company.. outrank.com They charged me $290 initial setup. I was told that 10-20 calls a month would be the minimum (of course nothing in writing) With these types of companies I always ask if they will have a call log to prove their services are working. The call log was 3-6 calls per month or less. The keywords for the category that I was told they were going to advertise for me were not even showing up. The "account manager" didn't have the guts to answer the phone, his recording would say "the best way to get a hold of me is through email", and that's the way they buy more time to get to the next $150 billing and also to avoid answering the important questions. Everytime I would ask for the call logs, he wouldnt respond to emails. The cheesy web site that they made for my account was terrible and the two "internet inquiries" that came through that web site were phony. One of the inquiries was a bad telephone number and of course a fake email address. The other was similiar.. fake contact information. Business owners.. stay away from this company.

What a waste of money.Dont fall for the salesperson who says that they will put your company on front page search engines. They DO NOT have the power to do that...Google does! Try doing it yourself, youll see how easy it is and its virtually FREE! I gave Outrank $750.00 and got nothing in return...Jeff Melendez, Orlando, Florida.

You guys are full of it. Outrank has made my life so much easier. If your business is crap in the first place, people already aren't searching for you, so that's not something they can control. But when someone is searching for a useful product or service and it is optimized on the web and mobile device, if you have an outrank campaign, you get coverage. I look for thing mainly on my phone, and when a website is finicky or it takes to long to load, I search elsewhere... I think that outrank is the only proper way to optimize your searchability, but again your product or service has to be sought out for.. And your quality has to back your advertising up.

I COMPLETELY AGREE, At least you were smart about it, I lost $750 for 6 months of service. I feel so bad I work so hard for my money and Outrank just robbed me at least thats how I feel. Just a word to the wise next time anybody calls you with any service or offer chances are they are on a recorded line and so should you, So call them back notifying them that your on a recorded line as well and get them to guarantee there services to meet your needs after all thats why they called you to get in on some of your money right? So make them work just as hard as you do for your money, If they can't guarantee you there services and or product on your terms, Then you just know its just not worth it. HOW CAN COMPANIES LIKE Outrank boast so much and not be what they say there made off, Why steal peoples money when you and them can work together to make money? How do these people sleep at night knowing that they can't make everyone happy and just keep robbing them by selling them false commitments and lies? I'm so hurt! I lost money on nothing I could have donated this money for a better cause and felt like I actually made a difference. Instead I know they are doing it to the next poor guy, How many times will they do this again to the next person? PEOPLE GET SMART IF THEY CAN'T GUARANTEE YOU IT, DON'T GO FOR IT! With this said I want to also make a referral on a good note I don't like being negative about anyone or company how ever I have had great luck with Service Magic I'm not saying you should go with them but just check it out they will send you leads Guaranteed but its your job to close on them. Not every thing is for everyone but keep searching, be persistent and keep trying, hopefully the best will come to you

Respectfully,

Taimoor A.

It is funny that this person David Lyon responds to the complaint and offers his information.
I have had a major problem with this company and tried to contact Mr. Lyon through email and phone and he never got back to me. The customer service is terrible and like everyone else I was lied too about being on the front page of google under a competitve search term. They do string you a long to keep billing you. They tell you everything verbally that they will do for you and then they say it is not included in the terms and conditions. This company at best is deceptive, I dont believe they are an Inc. 500 company like they proclaim, I could not find them anywhere on a search for Inc 500. I dont believe they have thousands of clients and that 95% are satisfied. These are all lies.

Outrank (profitfuel) is now stealing your Google identity by superimposing their own phone number for your site and then asking for your PIN provided by Google Places postcard. Your phone and mailing address are a business' only verifiable methods of confirmation and Outrank finally figured out how to loop around it. Outrank is a scam that preys on small businesses as large businesses have web teams, IT teams and/or legal teams that can see through the ###

Yodle Rude Customer Service/Salesperson

I received a phone call from a very pushy salesperson who kept insulting my business sense although I clearly explained that I was a Business Consultant and entrepreneur with two other businesses. After 14-minutes on the phone she promised to have my business on the 1st. page of Google without a contract for $175 per month. When I asked how was her company going to get me on the 1st page overnight, (it usually takes at least 3 to 4 months to achieve those results) she quickly explained that she never said overnight (she never said otherwise until I brought up the timeline). She explained that it was her companies policy to have my business on the 1st page within 60 days or there would be no charge for every month thereafter until the 1st page results were achieved. Due to my skepticism I asked for her to email me the information and I would look it over. She explained that she had endured 9-weeks of training and that she was capable of answering any issues that I might have and then she insulted me again - I finally hung up. That's 15-minutes that I'll never get back. Read the reviews before considering doing business with this company.

Well to start, I 'dodged the bullet' with these folks. I too was promised so much. I tolerated the whole watch their video and such along with the salesman like approach. So their price they throw at you is 1499.00 platinum, 1199.00 gold, 699.00 silver package. I said was too much for me! They he paused and talked with his 'manager' and the price fell to 499.00, then 399.00 if I signed up by the next day! I told him I would research their company first. Smart decision on my part! Well, it seems a lot of good / hard working people have a much to say. When he called back the following day I said I was not interested due to more than 50+ complaints I read. In my opinion these are real people and saying they were mad was putting it lightly, they were pissed off! I could tell in the 3 minute conversation he was getting defensive. Long story short, I said I was not interested and to never call again. Oh yah, it seems they want your CC# right away, but don't want to show you a contract? Can you imagine a remodel done to your house like that? Sorry, not interested might be your answer!

I totally agree with your assessment. Yodel contacted one of our company officers and promised they could get our company to come up first on google. I knew it was a scam as I had been to a seminar where I was told that no optimization company can make that promise. Also I looked them up on the internet and the complaints were numerous. I talked to a saleswoman who was extremely rude when I indicated that we were not interested for the above reasons. We still get weekly calls from these people asking for the company officer that originally expressed interest in their product. They just don't give up and are annoying and rude. So my advice is don't waste your time even speaking to them.

Yodle Rip-Off

Outrank.com is a complete and total waste of your time and money. I have been paying them $130 a month for 7 months now and they have not been able to produce one single lead or new customer for me in that amount of time. I have been able to produce better results on my own than Outrank.com, who is supposed to be a professional internet marketing company. Do not waste your time or your money on them. They will produce a crappy little, unprofessional looking website with a totally different telephone number on it than the one you use for your business. When I asked them to send me the stats on the number of hits I have gotten on their website, they told me that the way the rank the site is by how many phone calls they have received through the site. I said Okay, how many phone calls have we had on the site? You could hear her hesitate and almost groan on the other end of the phone. She said Well, unfortunately, it appears that we have only had 1 My response was - yeah, that was me calling the site to see how the site functions. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE OUTRANK.COM A-HOLES! You would be better off flushing the money down the toilet - at least you would have no illusions about what you are getting for your money!

Yodle No placement, no calls

I contacted outrank because a friend of mine had used them and stated they generated leads for his business. Four months and over 500.00 dollars later I had no placement and 4 hang up calls. Outrank stated the four calls I received I did not answer the calls. I finally got outrank to give me the numbers and I called them, the first number was a elderly lady who stated she had that number for four years and she would never call my business. The second number rang 36 times, no answer and no message machine, the third number rang over thirty time and finally a machine picked up and stated I needed to set up my account, the fourth call was a message machine for a private citizen who has not returned my message to PLEASE CALL ME. i HAVE EXPLAINED ALL THIS TO OUTRANK AND ALL I GET IS A RUN AROUND. i HAVE SPOKEN TO JEFF AGUILAR, TAMMY, DOUG SMITH AND ADASEWA WITH NO RESULTS FROM ANY OF THEM.

i WOULD SAY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND CANNOT DO ANYTHING THEY STATE AND WHEN YOU CALL TO COMPLAIN ALL YOU GET IS A RUN AROUND, I HAVE HEARD MANY TIMES THEY ARE OUT TO LUNCH.
