YouPic YouPic Review: Showcase Your Photography and Connect with a Supportive Community

YouPic is a great website for photographers to showcase their work and connect with other photographers. The website is easy to navigate and has a clean design. The community is very supportive and helpful, with many photographers offering feedback and advice on each other's work.

One of the best features of YouPic is the ability to join groups based on your interests. This allows you to connect with other photographers who share your passion and learn from their experiences. The groups are very active and there is always something new to discover.

Another great feature of YouPic is the ability to sell your photos directly on the website. This is a great way to earn some extra income from your photography and reach a wider audience. The process is very easy and straightforward, and YouPic takes care of all the technical details.

Overall, I highly recommend YouPic to any photographer looking to showcase their work and connect with other photographers. The website is user-friendly and the community is very supportive. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, YouPic has something to offer. So why not give it a try and see what you can achieve?

YouPic Photography Enthusiasts Beware: A Review of a Nightmare Website

This website is a complete nightmare for all photography enthusiasts, unless you're willing to cough up some cash.

If you're not a paying member, you're only allowed to post one picture every 12 hours, which basically means one picture per day. On the other hand, paying members can post as many pictures as they want. However, it's often the case that paying members have the lowest quality pictures.

To showcase pictures, they have a scoring system where people can give up to 50 likes per picture. Paying members are allowed to have multiple fake accounts, so they can give themselves hundreds and hundreds of likes, which means that the worst pictures are in the spotlight. This is just plain embarrassing for all the "real" photographers with beautiful pictures.

This used to be a great photography site, where you had the freedom to post your own work. However, now it's all about business as usual... money, money, money. As a result, many photographers have left this site for other, better sites. And if you're not careful, they'll just close your account without any warning at all!

Overall, I would not recommend this site to anyone who is serious about photography. It's a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for a better alternative, I suggest you look elsewhere.

YouPic YouPic Review: A Great Platform for Sharing and Learning from Other Photographers

YouPic is a great platform for sharing my photography with the world and viewing the work of others. Some members post every single photo they take, but I simply ignore those and focus on following the good photographers who post their best work.

The "Inspiration" feeds are fantastic and allow me to select the field of photography that interests me. The staff who curate and award "inspiration stars" are selective and give me an interesting flow of work from others to enjoy and learn from. Other users can also recommend my images for a "star" and give me feedback or share with their followers. It's an efficient way to view and enjoy the work I like.

However, YouPic does push you to sign up for more advanced membership levels, which can be a bit annoying. I find the middle "Premium" level more than adequate for my needs.

Overall, I see YouPic as a great forum for sharing with and learning from other photographers. It's not particularly useful for marketing your own work, but it's a great way to connect with other photographers and get inspired.

YouPic YouPic Review: A Photographer's Facebook with Potential

If you're into photography and want to showcase your work, YouPic might be the place for you. It's a platform where you can upload your photos and get "favorites" and "repics" from other users. It's like Facebook, but for photographers. You can also get lucky and have your photo selected as an "inspiration", which is a big deal on the site.

I joined YouPic for free and posted 145 of my photos. To my surprise, my photos were viewed over 45K times, and I got almost 4,000 "favorites" and almost 2,000 "repics". I even got two inspiration stars, which was a huge accomplishment for me. I was at Level 11 when I decided to delete my account.

Why did I delete my account, you ask? Well, YouPic takes a lot of work to advance levels, get fav's and repic's, and inspirations. At first, I only checked the site in the morning and evening, but I found myself checking it more and more during the day. Keeping up with the comments left by others became a real chore. It was like a full-time job, and I wasn't getting paid for it.

You can also buy a premium membership, which supposedly gives you better exposure, but I didn't think it was worth it. In the end, all it boils down to is hitech "navel gazing". You might like it, but it's not for me. It's a great platform to showcase your work, but it takes a lot of time and effort to get noticed. If you're willing to put in the work, then YouPic might be the place for you.

YouPic YouPic: A Global Community of Photographers

This website is pretty cool, I gotta say.

It's free, which is always a plus. And it's got people from all over the world posting their photos, from places like Europe, S. E. Asia, Israel, and the USA. You can follow other users and they can follow you, which is pretty neat. But unlike Modelmayhem.com, there aren't any models on here, just photographers. (Although there is this one Swedish student photographer who likes to post photos of herself. Hey, you do you, girl.)

The only downside is that there isn't a lot of opportunity to network or exchange information with other photographers. But hey, you can't have everything, right?

As a photographer who specializes in figure/glamour work, I've found that the site is pretty chill about what you can post. They're cool with nudity, as long as it's not pornographic. Although, to be honest, I'm not really sure what they mean by "pornographic." It's not really defined anywhere, so that could be a problem.

But the best part about YouPic is that it's not like ModelMayhem, where the moderators are always breathing down your neck and making you feel like you're living in a police state. Nope, YouPic is pretty laid-back and the management is actually pretty helpful. I had to contact them once about an issue and they were super nice about it.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this site to anyone who wants to see some cool photos from all over the world. It's a great way to share your work and get inspired by other photographers.

YouPic YouPic Review: Pros and Cons of the Photography Website

YouPic is a photography website that has been gaining popularity in recent years. However, the constant emails asking for an upgrade to premium membership can be quite annoying. It seems like they are promising you a profit off your images if you pay them, but in reality, they are the ones making a profit off your images. It's a bit of a turn-off, to be honest.

Another downside to YouPic is that you are limited to only being able to upload 2 images per day. This can be frustrating for those who want to showcase their work more frequently. However, the site itself is smooth running, and people can like, nominate as an inspiration or 'repic' your images. There is no real critique to guide photographers, just the courtesy "nice pic". It's a bit of a missed opportunity for those who are looking to improve their skills.

One of the biggest issues with YouPic is the points system it operates. The more likes, comments you get and the more you like and comment you make, the more points you earn. This system has led to a lot of high ranking photographers who comment on everything just for the points. Some of the top ranking photographers do not have a good set of images in their gallery, and I can only presume endless likes, comments, etc. have put them there. It's a bit of a shame, really.

Another issue with the points system is that the more followers you have, the more likely you are to have a higher ranking regardless of your quality. People tend to like images because they're following someone and knowing in return they'll get likes back. This is a huge fault for this site and can be quite frustrating for those who are looking for genuine feedback on their work.

Overall, YouPic has its pros and cons. It's a smooth running site that allows you to showcase your work and gain some recognition. However, the constant emails asking for an upgrade to premium membership and the flawed points system can be quite frustrating. If you're looking for a site that will help you improve your skills, YouPic may not be the best option. But if you're just looking for a platform to showcase your work and gain some recognition, it's worth checking out.

YouPic YouPic: A Community of Creativity and Connection

YouPic is a website that has completely changed my world. I stumbled upon it about a year ago, but it wasn't until recently that I really started to get involved. Now, I can't get enough of it! The reason why I love YouPic so much is because it allows me to connect with people from all over the world who share my passion for art and photography. It's amazing to see how people from different cultures and backgrounds can come together and share their creativity and love for nature.

One of the things that I really appreciate about YouPic is the fact that it's not just about posting pictures and getting likes. It's about the technical and artistic details of photography, and the feedback that you receive from other users is invaluable. I've learned so much from the constructive criticism that I've received, and it's helped me to grow as an artist and photographer.

But YouPic is more than just a platform for sharing photos and getting feedback. It's a community of like-minded individuals who share a common love for nature and humanity. Through YouPic, I've been able to connect with people from all walks of life, and it's been an incredibly enriching experience. I've learned so much about different cultures and perspectives, and it's helped me to become a more tolerant and understanding person.

Despite my initial concerns about social media and the negative impact that it can have on our lives, YouPic has proven to be a breath of fresh air. I find myself visiting the site several times a day, just to see what new and exciting things people have posted. It's become a part of my daily routine, and I can't imagine my life without it.

I want to take a moment to thank the staff at YouPic for creating such an amazing platform. Their hard work and dedication have made it possible for people like me to connect with others from all over the world. I appreciate their commitment to fostering meaningful human communication and culture of tolerance, and I look forward to being a part of the YouPic community for many years to come.

Sincerely,

Khayyam Ebrahimi

YouPic YouPic's Pro Subscription Policy is Unfair and Unhelpful - My Experience

I recently joined YouPic after ditching 500px. I was looking for a new platform to showcase my "fine art" photos and YouPic seemed like a good option. I started uploading my photos and got a lot of good responses from other users. I was actually getting more action on YouPic than I was on Flickr, which was a pleasant surprise.

After a while, I decided to upgrade to a "Pro" account. I thought it would give me more features and help me get even more exposure for my photos. However, I was not prepared for what happened next. I just saw that they had taken $119 out of my account to renew my subscription. I was not given any warning or heads up about this, which was really frustrating.

I immediately contacted YouPic and asked them to cancel my subscription and refund my money. However, I was told that this was not possible. I couldn't believe it! I got back to them and suggested that it was indeed possible to cancel and refund my subscription, but maybe it was just not their policy. I wanted to know why they couldn't do it.

Their response was not very helpful. They told me that I had entered into an agreement when I first signed up for the upgrade. They said that they clearly state that there will be a renewal of the upgrade unless the subscription is cancelled before the renewal date. They also said that there was plenty of time to cancel the subscription earlier and that they assumed that those who did not cancel their upgrade before the renewal date wished to keep their subscription. They ended their message by saying that they were sorry, but they were not going to refund my subscription.

To be honest, I think this is complete rubbish. I feel like YouPic should have given me a warning or at least reminded me that my subscription was about to renew. I also think that they should have been more understanding when I asked for a refund. I understand that they have policies in place, but I think they should be more flexible and customer-friendly.

Overall, I am really disappointed with YouPic. I feel like they have lost me as a customer for sure. I can't be doing with that kind of attitude. I will be looking for a new platform to showcase my photos and I will not be recommending YouPic to anyone.

YouPic Captivating and Heartfelt: A Review of The Fault in Our Stars

I was impressed with YouPic at first. The introductory price was 22.48 USD a quarter, full-price 44.97 for what is called premium. I was happy with this and have been using the site since 2015.
In 2019 I started to get regular emails from Lisa encouraging me to upgrade to Pro. Eventually, I succumbed since a reasonable discount rate of 131 USD was offered. What I did not realize was a year later I would get a notification that my credit card had been debited 359 USD. In these difficult economic times due to Corona this was a very unpleasant surprise and I wanted to cancel.
It is at this point that you read the terms and conditions carefully and see that if you cancel there is no refund. I also have found no way within the site to change my membership level down to a lower level. So it looks like I will be cancelling at the end of my current membership year - I have set a reminder of the renewal date to prevent being scalped again.

Reputable companies notify you 1-2 weeks before renewal the date your renewal occurs and the price.

So - yes I like the YouPic site, it is fast and responsive. However this failure to notify you a couple of weeks before the annual renewal of what you are going to be charged and no option to cancel and get a refund of unused time is a big turn off. The same functionality as in PROI is available on other sites at a 10th of the cost.

YouPic YouPic Review: A Money-Grabbing Scam or Innovative Photography Platform?

YouPic is a photography platform that claims to offer a unique and innovative experience for photographers. However, my personal experience with YouPic has been far from satisfactory. In fact, I would go as far as to say that YouPic is nothing more than a money-grabbing scam.

It all started when YouPic reached out to me on Instagram, praising my photography skills and inviting me to join their community. I was flattered and decided to give it a try. I signed up for the free service, but soon enough, I started receiving constant messages from YouPic, urging me to buy a subscription with a large discount of 70%. I fell for it and paid for a year's subscription.

However, after using the platform for a while, I realized that YouPic is no different from other similar services like 500px, Flickr, and Excio. In fact, their UI/UX, services, and prices are much worse than their competitors. I felt cheated and wanted to cancel my subscription and get a refund.

That's when I discovered YouPic's contradictory return policy. On one hand, they state that "Payments are non-refundable" in the "Subscription Billing and Cancellation" clause. On the other hand, they claim that "if you are unsatisfied with any Photos, Videos or other Products you have purchased from YouPic, we will gladly accept the return of any Product you have ordered for any reason within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the Product." This is misleading and confusing.

I tried to return my subscription money, but my attempts failed miserably. YouPic's customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive. It was clear that YouPic's major strategy is to screw as much money out of photographers as they possibly can.

After a month of using YouPic, I canceled my subscription and deleted my account completely. I didn't get any reimbursement from YouPic, but I'm happy that I got out of their scammy marketing tactics.

In conclusion, I would advise photographers to be aware and not trust YouPic. They are not worth your time, money, or effort. There are better and more reliable photography platforms out there. Don't fall for YouPic's false promises and fraudulent practices.

YouPic Beware of YouPic: A Complete Fraud and Waste of Time

Let me tell you, YouPic is not the platform for you. I made the mistake of signing up for one of their coupons, which was supposed to give me a whole year of premium membership for free. But guess what? They still charged me! And it wasn't just a small fee, it was a whopping $100.88.

I was so confused because when I signed up, the price said $0.00. I thought I was getting a great deal, but it turns out it was all a scam. When I reached out to their customer service, they told me that the coupon was only for a month of free premium, not a whole year.

I felt so cheated and angry. How could they do this to me? And if they're willing to make fraudulent charges against their own customers, how can I trust them to handle any sales I make on their platform?

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend YouPic to anyone. It's a complete fraud and a waste of time. Don't make the same mistake I did and stay far away from this platform.

YouPic Disappointing Experience with YouPic: No Refund Policy for Dissatisfied Members

I recently had an experience with YouPic that left me feeling quite disappointed. I was initially invited to join the community by Helga, who reached out to me on LinkedIn and suggested that I could sell my photos on the platform. She even gave me a Promocode to use when signing up.

However, after using the site for about a month, I found that I didn't have the time or interest to continue using it. I cancelled the automatic payment the same day that they took my money, but I didn't receive any message beforehand. Despite my efforts to cancel and my dissatisfaction with the service, I was informed by Lisa from YouPic that it was not possible to get a refund.

This experience left me feeling frustrated and upset. I have used other sites in the past where it was possible to cancel a membership if I wasn't happy with the service, but this was not the case with YouPic. It's disappointing to see a site that claims to be a community for photographers treat its members in this way.

Overall, I would caution anyone considering using YouPic to be aware of the potential risks involved. While the site may offer some benefits, it's important to be aware of the limitations and the potential for issues like the one I experienced.

YouPic Beware of False Discounts and Empty Promises on YouPic: A Disappointing Experience

I joined YouPic a few months ago and decided to upgrade to a premium account. I received a bunch of emails asking me to upgrade to PRO with a 70% discount on the regular price of $360. I thought it was a good deal, so I decided to go for it. However, when I upgraded, I was surprised to see that no discount was given and the full amount was charged to my credit card. I tried to contact customer support, but all I got were excuses and no action.

I also noticed that they talk a lot about selling prints of your images, but I haven't had any luck with that. I sell a lot of my images on other websites, but nothing on YouPic. It seems like they're just trying to take as much money as possible from their members.

Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience on YouPic. It feels like a scam and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money and find a better platform to showcase your photography.

YouPic Beware of YouPic's Refund Policies: My Experience with Accidental Pro Upgrade

So, I was checking out YouPic, and I gotta say, it's a pretty cool site. I was just minding my own business, uploading some of my photos, when all of a sudden, I got a message from this girl named LISA. She was all like, "Wow, your work is amazing! You should totally upgrade to premium!" And I was like, "Uh, okay, sure." So she gave me a code for a free month of premium, and I was like, "Sweet!"

But then, I made a little mistake. I accidentally selected the pro option instead of the premium option when I entered the code. And guess what? The code didn't tell me it wasn't working! So I ended up getting charged $487 Canadian dollars! Can you believe that? I was so mad!

So I contacted YouPic right away to let them know what happened. But you know what they did? They completely ignored me! Can you believe that? I mean, come on! So then I contacted them again, and they told me they couldn't refund me. And then LISA was like, "Well, technically I can't refund you either." What kind of customer service is that?

So now I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my American Express card. But let me tell you, I am so disgusted with this company and their refund policies. It's just not right. So if you're thinking about using YouPic, just be careful. Make sure you double-check everything before you enter any codes or make any purchases. And if something does go wrong, don't expect much help from their customer service team.

YouPic YouPic Review: A Disappointing Platform for Photographers

YouPic is a platform that claims to want to feature your work that they saw on Instagram or other sites. They will lure you in with this promise, and once you sign up and upload some pictures, they will "boost" your first posts so that you get a lot of engagement from other users. This includes likes, reshares, comments, and more. However, after this initial boost, they never contact you about featuring your work again. Instead, all you will hear from them is constant spam in your email inbox and YouPic private messages. To stop this, you need to upgrade to premium.

The community on YouPic is not great. It's full of terrible and mediocre photographers who comment-spam their way into getting notoriety on the platform. There's little else going on there, and it's not a great place to find inspiration or connect with other photographers.

If you're looking for a platform to showcase your work and connect with other photographers, YouPic is not the place to do it. The constant spam and lack of engagement from the community make it a frustrating experience. There are plenty of other platforms out there that are better suited for photographers, so it's best to look elsewhere.

YouPic YouPic Scam Alert: Beware of False Promises and Hidden Charges

So, I got this code from "LISA" for a FREE PREMIUM Month on YouPic. I was pretty excited to try it out, so I hit the code and it took me to the checkout form. I put in the code and my info, hit submit, and then it took me back to my profile. But something was off - it said "Pro" and there was a charge for $340.88 on my account! What the heck?! I was so confused and frustrated. I tried reaching out to customer service, but no one was responding. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and contacted the CEO directly via email and Linked-IN. I demanded that they terminate "LISA" immediately.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend subscribing to YouPic. It's a total scam. Sure, you might get some exposure for your photography, but you won't make any sales. And the "stats" they give you are completely useless because they don't market them to anyone who would actually use your images. It's all just a pointless waste of time and money. Don't fall for their fraud.

YouPic YouPic Review: A Great Platform for Photographers to Showcase Their Work and Connect with Others

YouPic is a great website for photographers to showcase their work and receive valuable feedback from other members. The site offers a feature called "The Inspiration Feed," which displays photos that are considered "inspirational" on an ever-expanding wall. Members are encouraged to award a photo star if they feel inspired to do so. However, it's important to note that the photos on the wall are not necessarily chosen by other members. Instead, they are selected by the owners of YouPic based on what they like.

Despite this, YouPic is still a fantastic platform for photographers to share their work and connect with other like-minded individuals. The site is easy to navigate and offers a variety of features to help photographers improve their skills and gain exposure. For example, members can participate in challenges and contests, which can help them gain recognition and exposure for their work.

One thing to keep in mind when using YouPic is that it's important to be active and engage with other members. This can help you build a following and gain more exposure for your work. Additionally, it's important to take advantage of the feedback and critiques offered by other members. This can help you improve your skills and become a better photographer overall.

Overall, YouPic is a great website for photographers of all skill levels. While the Inspiration Feed may not be entirely user-generated, the site still offers a wealth of resources and opportunities for photographers to improve their skills and gain exposure for their work. So, if you're a photographer looking for a platform to showcase your work and connect with other like-minded individuals, YouPic is definitely worth checking out.

YouPic YouPic Review: Censorship, Poor Support, and Popularity Contest

I gotta say, my experience with YouPic was a total letdown. Their support team was no help at all, and it seemed like the whole operation was being run by some kid who barely knew what they were doing.

I mean, I get it - my photography might not be everyone's cup of tea. But it felt like unless you were posting pictures of sunsets and cute animals, you weren't getting any love on this site. I don't have a fancy camera or use any fancy filters, but I love taking pictures of hair, my community, and my job. And apparently, that's not good enough for YouPic.

What really got me was the censorship. I tried to post some pictures of a barbershop I visited, and apparently that was too offensive for the privileged folks with their fancy cameras. And then, out of nowhere, my account was banned for "spamming". No warning, no explanation, nothing. Just a big ol' middle finger from YouPic.

It's a shame, really. I thought this site was supposed to be a place for photographers to showcase their work and maybe even get some gigs. But instead, it just feels like a popularity contest where only certain types of photography are allowed. Save yourself the trouble and skip YouPic - it's just not worth the hassle.

YouPic Youpic Review: Site Changes and Lack of Transparency Disappoint Users

Me and a bunch of other Youpic users were pretty upset when they changed the site up for no reason. It's not like anyone knows who's running the show or what they're even trying to do with it. They won't answer any questions or give any info about how the site works. It would be nice if they had a FAQ or something so we could figure out what's going on.

I had a lot of fun on Youpic and posted a ton of pictures. People gave me some really good feedback, but then they started changing the rules and how everything worked. It was a real bummer. I worked really hard for two and a half years to get all these awards and I was so close to getting 20,000 shares. But then they just got rid of all of it.

I don't think the people running Youpic know what they're doing. They got banned from DPreview for spamming and they just seem clueless. I'd say stay away from this site.

YouPic YouPic Review: Pros and Cons of the Popular Photo Sharing Website

YouPic is a website that is popular among many people who enjoy sharing their photos with others. It is a great place to connect with other photographers and to get feedback on your work. However, there are some issues with the site that can be frustrating for users.

One of the biggest problems with YouPic is that it is not very user-friendly. For example, it is not possible to delete multiple photos at once. This means that if you want to remove several photos from your profile, you have to do it one by one. This can be very time-consuming and frustrating.

Another issue with YouPic is that the site seems to be geared towards more mainstream photography. This means that if you are someone who likes to take more creative and unconventional photos, you may not find as much of a community on the site. Additionally, the "inspiration" section of the site, which is meant to showcase the best photos on the site, may not be as interesting to more artistic photographers.

One of the unique features of YouPic is the star system. When you first join the site, you are given stars by the site admin. These stars are meant to indicate the quality of your photos. However, some users have complained that the star system is not very accurate and that it is too easy to get stars. Additionally, after you receive ten stars, there is no way to earn more unless you are a very active user on the site.

Overall, YouPic can be a great place to share your photos and connect with other photographers. However, it is important to be aware of the site's limitations and to understand that it may not be the best fit for everyone. If you are someone who enjoys more unconventional photography or who is looking for a more professional community, you may want to look elsewhere.

I cancelled my premium membership few weeks ago and ask for a refund and heard nothing, I messaged them on Instagram they answered for a while then ignore me. I tried to ask for a refund on PayPal and I repaid them by accident. I'm not happy
