Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research: Unreliable, Inconsistent and Confusing Investment Ratings

These dudes over at Zacks Investment Research are all sorts of messed up. I mean, I'm just trying to navigate this whole investing game with my 401k and they're out here making it extra confusing. Let me break it down for you: I had some Pintrest stock and on 6/18/19 Wedbush said it was gonna do well and gave it an "Outperform" rating. Cool, I was feeling good. But then the very next day, Zacks had to go and rain on my parade by upgrading it from "Sell" to "Hold." Like, okay, thanks for the heads up but what changed in 24 hours? But wait, it gets worse. The day after that - 6/20/19 - they pulled a 180 and downgraded it from "Hold" to "Sell." I'm sorry, what?! Make up your minds, people! And just to add to the chaos, on 6/21/19 they switched up AGAIN and went back to "Hold" from "Sell." Are you kidding me? It's like the Zacks team is a bunch of monkeys flinging darts at a board or something. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of their ratings or risk getting whiplash from all the sudden changes.

Zacks Investment Research Beware of Hidden Fees: My Experience with Zacks Investment Research

When I first signed up for Zacks Investment Research, I was under the impression that it would only cost me $300 a year. Boy oh boy, was I wrong. I got hit with another $300 charge the following month, and it turns out that it's actually $300 a month. That's some sneaky stuff right there. I'm pretty sure they make the big bucks by hiding that important info in the fine print. It's like they're taking advantage of us innocent folks who don't read thoroughly. Ain't that just some bull$#*! I'm sure 90% of people don't even know what they're getting into. Before you know it, you're two payments deep and it feels like Mr. Big Zack just decided to pull a fast one on you without any lube. Let's just say, they can suck the back of my d twice.

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research Review: Taking their Momentum Strategy with a Grain of Salt

So, I checked out Zacks Investment Research (zacks.com) and the word on the street (or internet) is that they're all about momentum, baby. Basically, they base their "research" on earnings growth. While you can definitely get some ideas from them, it's important to take their star rankings with a grain of salt. Sure, the "best" rated stocks have been killin' it in terms of earnings growth over the past few quarters, but that don't necessarily mean they're gonna keep on keepin' on. Prices can be pretty steep on those hot stocks, and it's always a possibility that they might come tumbling down faster than a tower of Jenga blocks if things don't turn out as peachy as everyone thought they would.

Now, let's talk about the "buy, buy, buy" mantras that Zacks likes to dish out. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be enthusiastic about investing and all, but you definitely wanna do your own research and put in some elbow grease before pulling the trigger on any investments. Maybe Zacks can give you some inspiration or point you in the right direction, but at the end of the day, no one knows your finances or priorities better than you do.

Oh, and FYI, I may have made a couple spelling and grammar errors in this review. I'm only human, y'know?

Zacks Investment Research Shady Tactics and Spammy Newsletters - My Review of Zacks Investment Research

So, let's talk about Zacks Investment Research - or should we say Zacks.com? First up, be aware that they'll start charging you immediately even if they said they wouldn't. Sneaky devilish moves if you ask me. And boy, do they send a bunch of spammy emails. I mean, how are you supposed to realize that they're charging you for those [censored] newsletters if they're burying it in a mountain of junk mail? It's not cricket, folks. I don't know how the regulators haven't shut these guys down already.

Now, I don't want to totally bash these guys, so let me try and find something good to say. Ummm. *head scratchNope, sorry, nothing. Worst bunch of pseudo-newsletters ever. Run for the hills and stay faaaar, far away from these shady characters.

Oh, and one more thing. I've got an outstanding issue with them. They owe me a full refund for those unlawful and unauthorized subscriptions they swindled out of me. So, you know, if you want to avoid a similar fate, take my advice and find a more reputable investment research company. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Ultimate Package: Do the Opposite of What They Say

So, here's the deal. I signed up for the Zacks Ultimate package last year, looking for some hot tips on stock buys. But let me tell you, the advice I got was straight-up whack. Like, bad timing to the max. It was like they were trying to sabotage my portfolio or something!

Turns out, when I started doing the opposite of what they suggested, my losses started to turn around. Yup, you read that right. I did the opposite and made more cash. Go figure.

Here's the real kicker though: most of their picks end up tanking within the first month or so. Like, 10%-35% or worse. And then what do they do? Oh, they call you up all desperate-like, telling you to sell before it's too late. Like, no duh, I could have told you that!

If you want your portfolio to straight-up crash and burn, then go ahead and follow these clowns. But if you're smart, you'll steer clear of their so-called "expert" advice. Trust me, I've been there. And I've crawled my way back from the brink by doing the exact opposite of what they tell you.

So, yeah. That's my take. Do with it what you will. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research Review: A Rip-Off Scam That Won't Help You - Watch Out!

Man, I gotta vent about Zacks Investment Research, it's such a rip-off! I wanted to learn some investment strategies so I signed up for their online course and man was that a mistake. They sent me a user ID and password that didn't even work! And to top it off, they were supposed to send me a book to go with the course and it never showed up. I thought maybe they were just busy and sent them a bunch of emails but dude, they never even replied!

The worst part is, they keep sending me emails trying to sell me more of their crap but they won't even help me with my legit problem. It's like they'll take your money for anything but when it comes to actually helping you out, forget about it. Don't fall for their $1 offer or anything like that, cuz once they take your money they don't give two [censored]s about you. Seriously, watch out!

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research: Helpful Analysis Buried Under a Mountain of Emails

Alright, so here's the thing about Zacks Investment Research - they offer a free trial, but holy moly do they send a ton of emails afterwards. Like, I'm talking inbox overflowing, drowning in notifications kind of overload. And honestly, most of the stuff they're sending is just useless fluff. They're always trying to sell you on some other service, or give you some pointless news update that doesn't actually help you make any smarter investing decisions.

Now, buried somewhere in those hundreds of emails they're sending you is a renewal notice that you need to keep an eye out for. It's easy to miss, since like I said, there's just so much clutter to sort through. And here's the kicker - if you don't cancel before that renewal hits, you're getting charged whether you like it or not.

I know, I know, it all sounds kind of shady. But I will say this - if you do actually take the time to sift through all those emails, there are some nuggets of wisdom in there. Zacks does have some solid research and analysis that can be helpful in making informed investment decisions. It's just a shame that they have to bury it under so much spammy nonsense.

So, all in all, I'd say give Zacks a shot if you're interested in their free trial. Just be prepared for a deluge of emails, and make sure you don't delete any important renewal notices by accident. And hey, if you do decide to stick with them after the trial, maybe it's worth it - just don't say I didn't warn you about the email situation.

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research Review: A Comprehensive Service with a Holistic Rating System

Yo, just wanted to give you my thoughts on Zacks Investment Research (zacks.com). Overall, I gotta say I'm pretty happy with their service. One of the best things about it is their Zack Rating system. It's like the holy grail of stock ratings, you know? If you can get a good rating on a stock, you're pretty much golden.

One thing I wish they had is a way to just input a stock name and get a rating. Sometimes I don't feel like digging through all their categories and stuff, you feel me? But honestly, it's not a big deal, I can live without it.

The only real downside to their service is that there's so many options, it can be overwhelming. I mean, I know they're trying to cater to all sorts of investors and traders, but for someone like me who doesn't really know what they want, it can be tough. Like, I'm looking for something that's more of a shorter term swing trade, you know, not day trading, but something that I can see results from in a few weeks or a month or two. But with all these categories and options, sometimes it's hard to know what to choose.

But at the end of the day, I'd say Zacks is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a solid investment research service. Just be ready to do a little digging to find what you're looking for!

Zacks Investment Research Zacks Investment Research Review: Bumpy Ride with Unimpressive Trades and Tricky Charges

So, I recently gave Zacks Investment Research a try and, let me tell you, it was a bit of a bumpy ride. They offered a 30 day trial without sneaky automatic renewal (which, props to them, I double checked), but I was pretty surprised to see a charge show up on my credit card statement anyway. They do offer an automatic refund for the first three months, but if you miss seeing those charges after that, you're out of luck. I unfortunately fell victim to this, which really put me off the whole experience.

To make matters worse, the trade information they provide is mostly just "fantasy picks" from their in-house guys. Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good fantasy football league as much as the next guy, but when it comes to real-life investing, I'd prefer a little more substance. Plus, they seem to only focus on low volume stocks, which can be mega risky if you're trying to get out quickly.

Honestly, after seeing this, I didn't bother using Zacks again. I had originally been drawn in by their solid reputation for earnings estimates (which, by the way, are legit and used by Nasdaq.com), but apparently that is made by a totally separate Zacks division.

Overall, I'd say Zacks was a pretty big waste of time and money for me. However, from the number of users they seem to have, I wouldn't be surprised if they're making a killing off this whole scheme. So, if you're thinking about trying Zacks, just be sure to read the fine print and maybe have a backup plan for your investments. You never know when those fantasy picks might come back to bite you in the butt!

Zacks Investment Research Unreliable Ratings: My Experience with Zacks.com

So, I was browsing the internet and stumbled upon zacks.com, a website that offers something called "stock research." They claim to be experts in the world of finance, but I'm not so sure about that.

Let me tell you why. I own a few stocks that they have rated and to my surprise, they changed their ratings a whopping five times in one week! If they have any credibility, why do they keep changing the ratings so often? What happened that made them change their mind repeatedly? I don't get it.

The thing is, these kinds of companies can get away with making rating changes without actually explaining why. It's like, "trust us, we know what we're doing, but we're not going to tell you why." Well, that's not very helpful, is it?

I'm not a subscriber and I don't plan on becoming one because something about zacks.com seems off to me. And it's not just me, if you look at the other reviews on their website, the majority of them are pretty negative. I mean, how does a company with such a bad reputation stay in business?

I don't mean to be all negative, but I just don't understand why anyone would trust a company like this with their investments. If you're going to rely on someone to give you advice about your hard-earned money, make sure they have a proven track record and a good reputation.
