We were a bit nervous to be honest. We didn't think our dress would come in on time as the web site said 2 weeks & the dress came 1month in a half later, however, it did finally arrive & is beautiful. My daughter loves it! We were not only happy that it looked exactly as the picture, we appreciated a call from an actual person after I sent an email. I was met with respect & professionalism. That is hard to find. Great dresses. Mostly black with tartan inserts. They're a good fit (I ordered a comfy fit rather than a tighter one) and they make me feel good. I liked the side-zipper at the waistline of one dress, and the stretchy material of the other dress. The A-line shape makes for a more flattering silhouette.
I ordered them with over a month before they was needed. They took 2 weeks to confirm the mailing address, but once that was sorted, the dresses arrived promptly from Shanghai to Sydney.

Better Than Expected
I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and I love vintage, mainly 50s. This site has so many options and for a decent price. I ordered 3 dresses and 2 tutu petticoats. I am actually in love with these dresses and planning on ordering some of the other dresses I really wanted to buy originally. The dresses are well made in my opinion and really soft. I am always concerned when ordering online, the main reason I took the plunge was seeing customer photos of the black and white striped dress and saw how well it looked. None seem cheaply made. I have seen some reviews complaining about wait time, even from coming from China I ordered on Aug 5 and received them Aug 17... maybe Canada has a lesser issue arriving?
I have noticed that most of the negative reviews on this site (sitejabber) are not verified customers. So I'm not sure if those people are actually fake. I mean out of 75 1star reviews only 15 are verified? Seems odd.
Either way, I love these dresses and gonna order more in the near future.
DONT waste your time and money
Absolute sham of a company, I ordered a dress from here, received a confirmation code had 3 tracking updates then nothing. Every link they’ve sent to track has gone to a dodgey site and given no information. They responded to one email with no information or proof of where the dress is and now they won’t respond. I’ve had to buy a new dress because i highly doubt this one will ever arrive. $250 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Absolutely disgusting , I hope they get shut down and made to pay everyone they’ve ripped off.
Recommendation: Buy from anywhere other than this company.

Not every worth 1 star. Paid $50 express shipping. Still didn’t arrive 2 weeks after the website eta of 4-7 days for express. They lost the parcel, told me it’s out of their hands and to contact the courier. Never heard of fastest couriers! I wonder why. They told me they can’t deal with me and to go back to the supplier. Zapuka then produced a confirmation from Fastway Couriers claiming that I in fact signed for the delivery (no proof of signature or photo of course!) when in fact I DIDN’T! They know they can get away with this type of behaviour because consumers are NOT covered. Do not buy from them. They do not care about lost parcels, they have insurance from the dodgy courier they use and we lose out in the end.

Sounds like exactly what happened to me, 3 updates of tracking then nothing and links/ carriers that just sonr exist or you can’t get hold of. I thought they were trusted once my partner ordered a waistcoat and it arrived. I was absolutely wrong.

I ordered from them last week on June 16. They did not send a confirmation email, yet the took the money. I tried reaching them to get confirmation email or expected delivery date, they would not give me any information. Asked them to cancel the order, they said they would not give me a refund. They would only refund me delivery fees. The dress cost $248. So they have taken this amount plus shipping, I do not have any receipts or proof of purchase for them. They say they do not have my email address to send confirmation and I have provided them with my email 3 times.
Desired outcome: I would like to cancel and get a full refund.

So, I was looking for a dress for my friend's wedding and stumbled upon Zapaka's website. I was really excited to see their collection and decided to order two dresses because I couldn't decide on the color. The website indicated that they have "easy returns," so I thought it was a safe bet.

Gorgeous Dress from Zapaka: A Review
I just gotta say, I got this dress from Zapaka for my prom and it's just so gorgeous! It took like a whole month to get here, but that's including the time it took to process and ship it. The processing part took a hot minute, and I was getting real worried that it wouldn't make it in time for my big night, but once they got it all sorted out, it shipped out in just a week! So, if you're planning on getting something from Zapaka, make sure you give yourself plenty of time for processing and shipping.
I went ahead and got the custom fit option, since I'm a tall drink of water and I didn't want to be tripping over my dress all night. It wasn't too pricey, and it was definitely worth it. The quality of the dress is pretty good, especially considering the price. It's not like, some fancy designer brand or anything, but it's definitely not cheaply made either.
One thing to note though, is that the dress has a bit of a pinkish tint to it. I didn't mind it at all, but if you're looking for something that's a true white, you might want to keep that in mind.
Unfortunately, my prom ended up getting cancelled, so I won't be able to show off this stunning dress like I had planned. I ordered a dress for my prom which is tomorrow, but it has been over 18 days and my order is still in processing. I tried to contact their customer service through email and live chat, but the response I received was not helpful at all. They told me that it takes 7114 days processing time because it is made to ship, and with standard shipping, it would take another 7-10 days.
There are two major issues with this. Firstly, I have already waited well past the 7-14 day processing time. Secondly, I selected expedited shipping which should have taken only 3 days. I was later informed that it is peak season for their company, but this is not an excuse for such poor service. They should have informed their customers about the possible delays during peak season. For example, they could have mentioned on their website that if you order between April-May, your shipping and processing may take longer due to high demand. If I had known about this, I would have either ordered earlier or chosen a different store.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend my prom after spending a lot of money on makeup, hair pieces, nails, and the dress itself, as well as a prom ticket. One dress was supposed to be an A-line dress but it was not even close to that shape. The material also looked cheap and not at all like what was advertised. The second dress was not even the size I ordered. I ordered an XS but received an S according to their size guide.
Secondly, returning the dresses was not easy at all. I had to pay for the shipping and the customer service was not helpful at all. They offered me a 20% refund but it took forever to actually get that refund. I had to follow up three times to make sure they processed it. If I didn't follow up, I don't think I would have received the refund at all.
Thirdly, the customer service was terrible. They ignored my messages on WhatsApp and emails. They only replied to my first email quickly but once they knew I was frustrated, they started to reply very slowly and eventually ignored my emails. When I tried to reach out on WhatsApp, they replied to my initial message but then ignored my follow-up messages.
Fourthly, the customer service did not keep their promises. They agreed to cancel my second order but then sent it out a few days later. When I reached out to them to understand how this happened, they did not give me an actual update or any solution to the situation.
Lastly, I noticed that they hid bad reviews on their website. I left a bad review with pictures to show how different the dress looked from their website but it was never published. I believe they hide many bad reviews and if there are zero reviews for a dress, it probably means they hid many bad reviews and there aren't any nice reviews to show.
Overall, I would not recommend Zapaka to anyone. The quality of their products is terrible and their customer service is even worse. It was a terrible experience and I would not trust this website again.

I am very upset.
1. they never gave my my conformation email that I was supposed to get the moment I ordered my dress. I placed my order April 8th.
2. Going based off the description of the dress on the website my dress should've been here no later than May 10th. But still, I ordered my package a whole month and half ahead of time for my event. In the description of the dress it said that it would take 7-14 days tailoring time and with standard shipping it would take 6-10 business days to ship.
3.They gave me tracking number that didn't even work on USPS. USPS just says that item label created nit yet in the the system. And that they're waiting for more information. It also says it's a priority mail package, meaning that it only takes 1-3 business days shipping.
4. I asked an employee about this. Only for them to LIE to me saying that USPS already has my package? And is shipping it. Even then, it should already be here with their 1-3 day business day shipping
I message them AGAIN only for them to tell me that the tracking number THEY GAVE ME, is being shipped by a different company (JS express) but they never even told me that very important information until I asked. My package has been in transit for 14 BUSINESS DAYS as of right now (and still in transit). I am very sad because that is not was was advertised on the website (8-12 business days). I messaged them again, and they said the USPS will update it once my package lands in my country (usa). My package landed in ORD (airport in my country). Yet for some reason no update was made.
4. Not only does USPS say "Item label Created, Not yet in system. It will be available when the shipper provides an update or the package is delivered to USPS. Check back soon." Obviously they don't have my package,

5. My prom dress probably wont make it here in time for my event. I spent all this money for a dress I can't even return (its custom size, so I cant return it). Will probably will have to wear for graduation instead (if it even makes it in time for that) Wont ever be ordering from here ever again

I placed two orders around the same time. One dress came early. It looked totally different from the pictures they post on their website. It was supposed to be an A-line dress. The dress I got was definitely not an A-line shape. Also, the material looked cheaper. The second dress I received looked less different from their picture. However, it was not the size I ordered. I ordered size XS but the dress I received was size S according to their own size guide.
2.No easy return. Don't trust what they claim!
You have to pay for the shipping and the customer service will tell you to keep the dress and give you a 20% refund. It took forever to get that 20% refund. I had to follow up three times so they actually processed it. I believe if I didn't follow up, they wouldn't actually give me the refund.
3.The customer service ignores messages on WhatsApp and emails!
They replied to my first email fast and asked for pictures to prove that the dress I got didn't look like the pictures on their website. However, once they knew my frustration, they started to reply very slowly and eventually ignored my email.
After I noticed they didn't reply to my email, I tried to reach out on WhatsApp. Again! They replied to my HI message fast but once they knew the reason I reached out on WhatsApp, they never read my message and replied to me.
4.The customer service doesn't keep their promise!
When the customer service offered me a 20% refund for the first dress I received, they also agreed that I could cancel my other order (because I could no longer trust their product quality.) However, a few days later, they sent out that second dress! I reached out again to understand how this happened and how they wanted to address this situation. The customer service only replied to me saying they would go ahead to check the status and never gave me an actual update or any solution to this.
5. They hid bad reviews on their website!
Zapaka sent out a robot email to ask me to leave a review on the dress I received. I left a bad review and stated the dress doesn't look like their pictures at all. I even included pictures I took to show how different the dress was. That review was never published on their website. I bet they hid tons of bad reviews customers left so?if there are zero reviews for a dress, it probably means they hid many bad reviews and there aren't any nice reviews to show.
Return policy

No reply since few days, while return policy says I should declare return within 7 days from shipment. I declared it and no one called back, wrote back or anything. I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Zapaka. I mean, if you're gonna order from them, you better be sure it's gonna fit and arrive on time, 'cause otherwise you're in for a world of hurt. They make it seem like they've got fast delivery and easy returns, but that's just not the case.
First off, the delivery was definitely not fast. I was waiting and waiting for my dresses to arrive, and when they finally did, it was too late for the event I needed them for. And then, when I tried to return them, I got the run around. They didn't want to take them back, and when they finally agreed to, they made it seem like it was gonna be a hassle.
And get this - I bought dresses for more than one person, and they told me that was against policy! Like, what kind of policy is that? And then, when I tried to return them, they told me I had to pay for shipping back to China. Like, seriously? That's just ridiculous. And they made it so difficult and time-consuming that I almost gave up and didn't even bother sending them back.
So yeah, unless you want to deal with all that, I'd say do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. Zapaka might have some cute stuff, but it's just not worth the hassle.
Damaged item and no return shipping
I ordered a dress from zapaka because it was stated on the website that they can ship it within 48 hours. I recieved the dress TWO WEEKS later. when i opened the dress package, I find that a whole strap from the dress on the right shoulder is MISSING. I wanted to return it and so contacted the customer service only for them to tell me that I had to return the dress to China, and that I had to handle the shipping cost, even though it was their fault the dress was damaged. I would appreciate if they could cover the shipping cost for me to return the dress.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund and for them to cover the cost of shipping back to their facility since it was their mistake.

I have purchased a dress 3 weeks ago with the ZAPAKADE28209 order number and the quality is completely different than the picture in their website. Since days I have been trying to reach them out by calling and mailing to carry the return&refund process out, so far nobody answered to any of my emails nor my calls. Yet they promise answering in 24h answer in their website!
I am so regret and frusturated. I have never had such an bad experience from any website before. I will file a law suit and encourage other customers who have similar experiences to do so!

I bought a evening dress from Zapaka it arrived about 1 months later, l opened the package to try the dress on but it had a broken zip. l received the package on the 4th of April 2023 sane day l notified Zapaka by email, and through the chat team. I ordered a dress 23 days ago. As of today it is still a processing order and has not shipped. Shipping was supposed to be 12 to 20 days. They have not finished processing the order. I ordered 3 dresses. One on 7/21 for $35, one on 7/23 for $32 and one on 7/27 for $35. The first one arrived and did not fit. The other 2 did not arrive on time for the event.. I paid $44.88 on Feb. 3rd understanding it would take 5 days to process my order and then up to 2 weeks to arrive. I purchased two dresses from ZAPAKA on September 3. Order Number ***. I received the dresses on September 16. When I would track the delivery with USPS they were coming from New Jersey. When the dresses arrived they did not fit right. I immediately contact ZAPAKA to set up the return. They went back and forth with me about returning them and kept telling me to read their return policy which I did. They made me send them pictures of the dresses. Finally, after several emails, they gave me a return address of China. The average cost of returning the item to China was $40.00. The dresses cost $71.40. I told them the dresses came from New Jersey but they insist that you can only return them to China. Nowhere on their website states that return has to go to China at your expense. This is unfair consumer practice and needs to be addressed.

Buyer Beware! They have a return policy that requires you pay return shipping. They do not tell you that it is international shipping to ***, which in my case was $150 for a 5 lb package. I ordered several dresses and a pair of shoes on Dec. 6th, 2021 for an event on December 16th for $231. They did not give an approximate ship date at the time of purchase, so I emailed on Dec. 9th to ask when the package would arrive. They "assured" me that it would arrive on time. When I finally got the tracking number and it was clear that package would not arrive on time, I requested a cancellation which they would not let me do. Then they "assured" me that when the package arrived they would help me with return shipping, but then revealed later that they wanted me to take everything out of the package and take pictures, send them pictures of the labels, and pay for the return shipping. JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to have spent $81 for absolutely nothing. My other option was a 15% refund. So now I have cheaply made dresses and shoes that don't fit and I got $35 back. Total scam. I believe this company is based in***, has fake reviews on their site (they didn't post my poor review), and has an outrageous return policy.
