Ouch! Low Quality! There's a lot of lip service paid to how much quality control they have. But if that's true how did my t-shirt - that had some of the printing messed up - get ok'd by their quality control people? Just seems like if the printing doesn't work on part of the shirt that they would see it. If they are looking...
If you do a custom job be careful about which graphic you use. Their design software can be deceiving. The pic that I used (a contrasty drawing) looked the same as the words on their design website. But on the t-shirt it came out much lighter than the wording. I wouldn't buy from them again...
I am an artist whom had signed up with zazzle hoping to find an alternative sales resource. I too had a complaint against my use of 1 free image I put on a postage stamp. I had used a few free images that passed their screening for their keds shoe’s contract, all other art was mine.
My hard drive died about 2 months ago it took 3 weeks before I was able to acquire & install a new one. Finally back online I see my email had three notices from zazzle & regarding their issue with the stamp. The third notice stated they tried to contact me & deleted my account within three days. If i were sick or injured i don’t believe they tried very hard at all to contact me because they also have your phone number.
Also why delete the entire approved revenue generating products for one not yet verified product seems very extreme and over the top to me. I guess it’s because I’m not famous and rich like them. If I were famous like some of the celebrity designers they have on there I am certain they would extend every courtesy toward maintaining my designs. I did sell 1 child’s apron that my mom bought for my niece and I have yet to get payment royalty for that sale. I am not happy with them at all, I called several times, the customer service doesn’t know the zazzle administration & all they say is email them.
I got zero response from several emails sent to them. I will re-register with them to give my art another opportunity to be purchased by those that want it. If this sort of problem occurs again you will see my complaints again and I may go further than this site. I appreciate the Complaints Board existence, I will check every site that I intend to engage with that involves monetary transactions from now on, and recovering from scams or unscrupulous businesses is far from my expectations of living the American dream.
I order 2 St. Patricks day shirts almost 2 weeks ago. I received my order Tuesday when I opened the packaged they had sent me the wrong size, I had ordered a XL and they sent me a M. When I called and told them I was leaving Friday for St. Patricks day they told me tough luck. Then I spoke with a manager who said they were going to overnight it to me so I would have it by Thursday... Today is Thursday and they just sent me a email saying they still haven't shipped the shirt yet. I am really upset because this is an error on there part and they are acting like it is my fault... Never will I do buisness there again.
Disappointment! I used them for my wedding invitations and RSVP cards. What a disaster. First they didn't ship as specified then when I received them the RSVP didn't even fit in the invitation. These two items were advertised together so you would expect them to work. Well WRONG! Make sure that you give them plenty of time to ship as well as call and make sure the two items truly belong. Zazzle is a hub for people to sell their items through them. Buyer BEWARE.
If you're an artist on this site and have a store with Zazzle, if there's ever a problem with anything, you will get minimal help from customer service. They say things like "if this is unresolved we will do what we can to resolve your issue" but it's a lot of hot air. The responses you get from them are to the tune of "we appreciate your patience in resolving this matter" but they go unresolved and if you try to get help again, they become evasive, borderline rude, and never give you a proper response.
I have always received excellent help from zazzle no matter what! they went out of their way to help me and find a solution always!
MG
millions of bride order through zazzle and love what they receive, infact they base their whole wedding on zazzle invites!
no one was a born celebrity designer, everyone started with doodles and just a few products in their store, if today they are "rich and famous" its because of their hard work and originality you can't blame zazzle for a fault on your part!
i am sure when your computer broke you would have tried a million places to check if you sold anything or earned any money!
so why not to answer a legitimate question, i mean you can have access to internet anywhere! even your phone, if you "wanted" to reply to their email!
This place reviews the content of your photos for "appropriateness". They have rejected fine art images because abstract characters could be perceived as being nude if you really stretched your imagination.
I completely, agree with your assessment of their customer service. Had sever items removed for alleged copyright infringement that I designed myself. Took me a lot of time and had them removed because someone complained. As with most individuals on here who have complained, they simply remove the designs without any proof of them being copyright issues. They are a terrible company that would rather remove any hint of a possible issue than stand up for their designers and customers that make them their money. I have not designed anything else that will make them money from my hard work. They are a bunch of leaches making profits off the hard work of the designers anyway.
"This was the WORST service I have received in a very long time. I spent hours trying to make a photo to canvas print as a Christmas gift for a friend and even paid extra to guarantee that the order would arrive before Christmas. I was relieved once the order was processed and happy with the outcome. After more than a day I received an order cancellation email with no explanation. After sending two emails inquiring about the reasons for the cancellation with no response, I spent another couple of hours making another one with a different picture thinking that was the problem. Again, a day later and once I think the order has already shipped, I get an order cancellation email. I called and tried to talk to a rep, I was on hold for about a half hour before finally talking to someone who then told me he had no idea why my order was cancelled and suggested I email the customer service people, which I'd already done twice with no response! I will NEVER shop here again!"
I ordered buttons in plenty of time for them to arrive in time for a party I was having then also paid extra for expedited shipping. The buttons were stock, not customized. I also requested notification if they would not be delivered on time. I received no notice yet the buttons arrived AFTER my party. This site makes promises it cannot deliver.
Frankly, I don't know too much about this firm. Yet, ----- I was attempting to order a custom t-shirt, difficulty with the designing on their site. Well, it might have been me, since art design is not my strength. So, I stopped and took a break for a day or two. Well, I have been inundated with e-mails, that in and of itself tells me something.
I ordered baby shower invitations from them and when I received them, the printing was awful. I gave them a chance to redo the invitations and have them sent to me, waited 5 days for this process to take place, only to find out they never sent the invitations at all. I ordered them from another company and had to pay rush shipping of $20 to get them to me because the baby shower date was fast approaching, and asked zazzle to reimburse me and they wouldn't. They did reimburse me for my order with them, but still fell short in my eyes because they not only wasted my money, but my time as well. They just can't seem to follow through on anything and their product was awful.
This was the WORST online experience I have ever had. I ordered my wedding invitations and accessories and they came out all different sizes. They didn't match. . .the quality of the paper is CHEAP. I could have gotten better quality if I went to the local drug store and picked up a package of invitations. What is worse, when I called Customer Service, the rep was mean, insulting, and kept saying the same thing "you made the mistake" and "this is our policy". His supervisor was even worse. . .said the same phrases over and over again. They rude and insensitive and did not try to remedy the situation. I sent the entire order back in the precise way they told me they had to send it back. I have the UPS tracking showing it was delivered. Yet they say they never received it. I have yet to receive my refund which is over $400 . . .please don't trust this site, especially with something important. I learned this the hard way.
I felt the same way-they screwed up and then act like it was MY fault! about my order-these folks are gonna keep losing good customers if they treat them like dirt! grrrrr and SHAME on them!
Order for wedding stationery was short by both invitations and envelopes. Tried to email them but after several tries you are blocked on submitting a complaint. Useless company obviously not trustworthy or responsive.
I ordered invitation for my daughter's first birthday... First they sent me the wrong set of cards. Requesting them to send the correct order takes forever to process. Calling them makes it even worse, you have to wait 30 minutes to talk to an agent. They don't care about their consumer. Never use this company this will make your life miserable.
