I orderd a fruit gift box with snacks for my grandparents back on 04/07/2020 then days and days, weeks and weeks go on with several promised delivery dates to have nothing delivered was very upsetting as my grandparents were expecting an item I bought and was having it delivered to them since they're not able to get out.
This is the worst place I have ever dealt with very poor customer service and lies after lies of promised delivery dates and times, every time the item wasn't delivered they never called me it was me following up to see what happened. Finally got my money back minus the Groupon I paid for on top of it.
Missing order
On june 2, I ordered 2 arrangements for my dad's funeral. During the viewing, my daughter noticed that one arrangement was not there. The director contacted the florist who told us that only one arrangement order was placed by your company. Needless to say, my children and I am very distraught and devastated. Everyone else's flowers were there to honor my dad. We depended on you to provide us with beautiful arrangements honoring my dad who was also a korean war veteran. It's obvious now that I should have gone with the other florists. I have contacted you and since received a refund of the arrangement not received. I feel I should be reimbursed for the entire order for the emotional distressed my family suffered but was told that was not possible. I have used your company for years for my flower needs, but this is the last time unless I receive satisfaction.

My 1st order ever w/this company And last. Placed order on 5/9. Paid $14.99 for shipping due to it being close to Mother's Day. Flowers picked out by my daughter for her teacher Who almost died! Got a call on delivery day at 1:15pm. Mind you they only deliver during business hours. I was working and listen to message around 6pm. I thought it was a wrong number, scam or something. The message was Unclear And person was Hard to understand! plus Called from Blocked #. So I listen again at 9pm - cause I realized I set myself up for text message updates on delivery and Nothing! I called Customer service - they said wait time was 60min at 9pm at night after Mother's Day. It was late and I opted to have them call me back. Well I fell asleep. Next morning, I called again, another 60min wait time. I opted again for them to call me as I was working. They called back. The guy sounded Exactly like my message! Horrible communication, mumbling, not listening, just bad! I asked to speak to supervision. Put on hold, I can't get you one? He proceed to tell me that I Ordered tulips? And they would be delivered on 5/19-6 days after my original delivery date and tulips! I hate tulips and my daughter didn't choose tulips nor would I ever choose a replacement ? The teacher almost died and I would never send this and my date was pushed back sooo far! That I shouldn't be paying the huge delivery fee! I wanted a Refund and asked to refund my order ! He said he couldn't! I paid close to $100. I told the teacher we were sending her something and this is not something I would of ever sent her or anyone! I am upset! I hung up on him after 30min call. I figured I call back. Blocked my number and can you believe they knew it was me? They found my order? So I called back on my Daughter's phone! Ask to speak to manger asap. Told the new guy a quick back story! Maybe a mistake but he said he get a Manager! I waited for 2Hrs! nothing! I Hung up and was extremely upset! Caused me stress and chest pains! This is why I am hear- I Want my money back! They didn't deliver on my date I paid for and they didn't have what I ordered! They need to change their "Company recording when you call!" No smiles here! Just stress And heartache! It's clear they send their calls overseas! I and I bet many of us can't understand their agents!

I would strongly urge people not to use this service, send your loved one a gift card to some gas station that sells flowers. You will get three to four times the amount, and they will be fresher, and you will see what your getting. My son sent his mother flowers using this wretched service, they were sent on May 7. We don't know when fed x delivered, as they never rang the doorbell, just left them on the front porch. It was 104 here in AZ that day, the next day it was 102. Like most people with a house one rarely goes out the front door, why would you when the car in in the garage, It was only by chance that I happened to go out Sat evening to check on something that I saw the box. Imagine what a bouquet of tulips looks like after two days in the heat. My wife tried calling that night, well that was a joke, you would have better luck getting the pope to take a call on Sun morning. So here it is Mon, I called and was told the wait time would be two hours, I'm sure they know that no one is going to stay on the line for two hours even if it is to complain about the crappy service.. So if you don't have anything better to do with your money, and you really don't give a damn bout the recipient, go ahead, call 1800flowers they will be sure to disappoint.
Run away fast from this company. Once order is entered online they will not cancel it and they charge credit cards immediately and not when shipped. This company is criminal with bad service. STAY AWAY
sunburnt flowers delivered
On May 5th I celebrated my 80th Birthday. My relatives in Germany ordered flowers for me, Today I received them.
I live in a gated Community in Modesto CA. Today, on the 8th of May I had to get my Mail from the Mailbox outside the Gate
and by chance I noticed a flower Box. It was addressed to Kristina Brimfield (My Name is Kristina Dunn) but it did have my
address and phone #. It was 5 pm in the afternoon and it was 95degrees and the box was sitting in the sun. I brought it in
The lilies were burned an the roses lost all their leaves. My phone # was on the box so there was no reason I could not be
called to the gate. My relatives were very disappointed when I had to tell them that I had not received the flowers.
When I tried to call customer service I was on hold twice for more than 2 hours.

Horrible service and complete rip off
On april 10 I placed an order for an all white sympathy arrangement I paid $131.40. First off my order was never received that day even though it showed as delivered. I waited over an hour and a half on the phone to speak with customer service I got Tired of waiting because I have two young daughters I have to take care of and so I sent an email. They responded with apology and and said they would send out a replacement arrangement on monday so I waited patiently and I am so angry at what my friend received. I order all white flowers and my friend received a colorful arrangement which is not worth the money I spent. The company is garbage.
12 pink long stem roses
On Feb. 15, 2020 I ordered an arrangement of 12 long stem PINK roses for a birthday and a party, to be delivery on Feb. 28, 2020. Flowers were delivered but it was a 12 Red roses and the roses look old. They were fully open which I'm sure will be dead soon! The red roses do not go with the party theme!
Contacted 1-800-Flowers about 1 hour after the delivery was made to complain. Agent was nice and sympathetic and tried to reach the florist but they were closed. She sent an email to them inquiring about the change in flower color and they were supposed to respond but didn't. I called 1-800 again this morning and had to explain everythin again to the new agent. She offered a re-delivery for the following week which I was not in agreement with. She finally contacted the florist who supposedly agreed to re-deliver the correct roses today. Let's see if that happens as promised.
Late delivery after paying for early delivery
We ordered expensive get well flowers through 1800 flowers on 2/11/2020 and paid extra to have them delivered between 9 am an noon the following day (2/12/2020). It was very important that the flowers be delivered in the morning when the recipient was home and not later in the day. If 1800 flowers could not deliver in the morning, we would have used a different service.
The flowers were not delivered on time. Customer service is totally ignorant (or pretended to be) of when the flowers were to be delivered. They can only say "before 8 PM" and do not acknowledge that the delivery via their website was set for 9 am to noon.
We asked to speak to a manager and none were avaliable for about an hour.

My 1st and LAST time I'll ever use 1800 Flowers!
1) Agent language barrier caused huge issues
2) Agent gave me wrong customer ID for tracking
3) Agent guaranteed and confirmed delivery date, then changed without notice or asking me
4) No email or any confirmation
5) Called to cancel order, transferred and left on hold 1x for 37min 2nd time almost 1hour
6) Asked for supervisor but given runaround when there was no one
7) Agent left my "ticket" open so no other Agent or Supervisor could access my order to cancel and refund me
8) was told i'd be contacted to be refunded when "ticket became available (never happened)
9) then charged twice!
10) couldn't be refunded bc order was in process
11) come to find out the changed delivery date was again wrong (per their local florist) and can't deliver until 4-5 days later
12) florist now not answering so I was told by agent to"wait and see"!
13) I had to remind agent that all my calls are/were recorded by them and they should review and own up to the lies, wrong information given to me! Just make it right!... But of course they don't have access to information (the recorded calls) that'll prove customer was wronged!
Really?! Ill never use them again and furthermore i'll worn everyone about the awful, ridiculous lack of customer service I received! I was scammed!...
floral delivery ordered february 3 for delivery february 10
I placed an order to be delivered to a business address. This was a business contact and I really wanted this to be perfect. I have used 1800 Flowers in the past many times and always been happy. NOT NOW. I called twice to get updates, emailed 3 times texted in response to a message and then finally complained on Facebook. I was given mis information every time. Not one single person took responsibility. The phone calls were outsourced and the reps could only give me one answer. Your order will be delivered between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. I was then told that the order was on track for the 12th..oops he said ah the 10th. TODAY. Then I was told it would be there by 8 p.m. again oops business delivery by 5 p.m. The text person told me they would check with the local florist and call me back. NO CALL. The order was delivered at 5:01 p.m. I then received a facebook message saying they would check into it but it looked like it was on track. Then I was asked for order information again for the SIXTH TIME. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF IT'S AFFILIATES. Stick with Yelp reviews for service in your delivery area then call the vendors.
sympathy flower arrangement delivery
I absolutely cannot express how angry I am about an order I placed on 1/22/20. I requested same day delivery for an extra cost. I placed the order for an address in Canada and received a call later that night asking for another delivery date as there wasn't a local florist who could deliver THAT DAY. I said the 23rd was fine. Today is the 24th and still no delivery confirmation. I called and after being put on a hold for 10+ minutes, I was told they didn't even have a local florist they work with! They said the order would be canceled, as if they were doing me a favor. I will NEVER use this service again and will tell anyone I can to do the same!

I ordered flowers for a friend that is house bound for Christmas. I ordered these flowers at the beginning of December and was suppose to be delivered on Dec 23. As of today Dec 24 the flowers were not delivered and when I contacted the company they said that the item I had ordered was no longer available and they would do nothing for me. DO NOT ORDER FORM THIS COMPANY. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My daughter who lives in stuart fla. Had this arrangment sent to me in whitestone ny.. It arrived today and was just plain awful... Nothing like the picture on your site... Ordered flowers from 800flowers-the representative quoted a price of $59-told her couldn't afford-she agreed to waive the delivery fee-bring total down to $43-agreed to the $43-a bill was sent to my e-mail for $43-provided my debit card to complete the transaction-when looking at my bank account not only was I charged the $43 but a hold of $59 was put on my bank account-no one told me anything about a hold-and I never authorized it-when speaking to the billing dept-the representative stated it would take 3-5 days for the hold to be lifted off my bank account-I have never been charged like this when ordering flowers from other web sites-to say I am angry would be an understatement-any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated-

I ordered flowers for $49.00 and without notifying me of the total charges you billed my account for over $72. I Immediately contacted your customer service via text (which I saved the communication) and asked for the order to be cancelled. They not only gave me the run around but still placed the order. I will do everything in my power to correct this issue as it is more about how you run your business than the money. I have contacted my bank and plan to contact the BBB as well.

Hi, I tried to place an order with 1800flowers for a delivery to a hospital, I used PayPal as payment. Everything seemed to go through ok and the money was taken out of my account. When I didn't receive any kind of notification I contacted 1800flowers who reported to me that they never received the order. Customer service was horrible, every time I contacted them I would get a different answer and absolutely no help with a refund. They had the nerve to say I should not have used PayPal. I finally had to get PayPal involved who finally took care of my refund. I missed the oppitunity to deliver a gift to a close friend in Hospital and then days/weeks of aggravation trying to deal with there customer service. I would never use there services again.
I suffered the same fate at the hands of these crooks. Bait and switch and overcharged. Once my credit card dispute is closed, I'm reporting 1-800-Flowers to the Federal Trade Commission. They need to be shut down for deceptive advertising as well as they are currently in violation of the law associated with false warranty claims with their so called "100% Smile Guarantee.". Rather than admit they are wrong and standing behind their policies, they fail to respond to complaints and repeatedly take chargeback after chargeback from the consumer complaints I've read. Admission is 3/4's of the law; neglect will get you reported to the FTC. Shameful.

I wasted half the day. Either chatting or calling these scam artist. They will not listen and only read right off a script. If you are considering to order from them . Do Not. If you have doubts visit their FB page and read the complaints. No one on their FB page has anything good to say about this company. It's a disgrace and they should be forced to close.
Customer Service/ failed delivery
I placed an order for flowers and chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered on Valentines Day. My wife received the flowers, not the strawberries. They claim to have delivered them today, but that doesn't help me because my wife isn't at work today and it's the day after Valentines Day! That's not what I paid for ! Unfortunately the Customer Service is Godawful and they won't give me a refund. I called 3 times and spent at l ast 3 hours trying to place the order and then trying to get a refund. This is unbelievable!
