24Restore IS THE DISASTER
We hired 24 Restore almost a year ago. Our experience with them has been completely miserable. They have been in breach of contract on the contract they signed for the past seven weeks. They have promised to provide a construction schedule, but they have never managed to do that. Chris Anderson and Adam Richey won’t respond to phone calls or emails. Last time I called the receptionist got off the line twice trying to find someone to talk to me. No one available, but she put a “red mark” by my call. Urgent! No one called. They’ve had $90,000 of insurance money for the past year, interest free. Again, breach of contract. I’ve tried to contact the president. There was one response indicating he was concerned and wanted to investigate. Then no further response. They clearly sanitize the reviews on their own site. Don’t believe anything they say when they sell you. None of what they say is true. I’m lodging a formal complaint with the state of Minnesota. When no one will answer the phone, what choice is there?
Recommendation: Hire anyone else. The worst experience ever!

He explained everything well and made sure all our questions were answered. I was Very Pleased with his inspection & explaination of what would happen next and how we would proceed. 24Restore will OVERCHARGE you on EVERYTHING! Do not use them! They charged us for services they never performed and charged the highest rate on everything else. What is worse? They got the source of our water damage WRONG and caused more damage in the process. NEVER USE 24RESTORE in Ramsey
We had a fire in June . The next day we had a salesman from 24Restore come to our house, without us contacting them. He told us they would do all the work with the insurance company and get our house repaired. Unfortunately, I signed the contract for them to do the work. Big mistake. After they went through all the insurance money, they demanded I give them thousands of dollars to finish the job. They would not finish the job, so, my house was left with no siding on it, the inside completely torn apart. I had to hire another company to at least get the siding on and put the trim and baseboard on the inside. The siding still needs to be painted and new carpet installed. I had another company come and give me an estimate as to what they would charge for the work that 24 Restore did finish. It was half of what 24 Restore charged the insurance company. 24 Restore even tried to charge for work they didn't do. After threats of having to go to court, with all their costs paid by me, I paid them what they were demanding. It looks like this company has a history of scamming people. I should have done my homework before signing with this company. I'm 78 years old and should have known better than to believe their scam salesman. I offered to give them what the legitimate company said they would charge me for that work, plus 500 dollars, but they refused. Let this be a warning to everyone else. Do not sign a contract with 24 Restore until you have detailed everything they are going to do, along with the price they are going to charge, written into the contract. Then call the insurance company yourself with the figures. Do not believe what their salesman says. They are liars and scammers.

Riley and Ethan came to install a front door at our house, the first time they came they measured and the door that was ordered was the wrong size, now some companies would have put that door in even though it was too small and added extra shims and such to get it to work but long term it would have been compromised. They called the boss and got the right size door ordered because it was the right thing to do for the customer! That says a lot about these 2 guys ethically and professionally! They are top notch, and then yesterday they came to install the new door, it looks great!
I had a horrible experience with 24Restore. I hired them to fix a leak in an upstairs bathroom. At first, they were quick to respond to the problem and identify the source. However, all subsequent work was frequently delayed, there was unexpected staff turnover causing more delays, and there was poor planning and poor and communication throughout the project. A project that was supposed to take a couple of weeks ended up taking more than four months. I am familiar with home repair projects and understand that not every aspect will go smoothly, but my experience with 24Restore was so far beyond what anyone would tolerate. My recommendation is to avoid working with this company at all costs.
Todd was great to work with after I had a water damage in my basement. His communication was perfect whenever I had a question or concern he was there to handle them all. I choose to use 24Restore over the program contractor my insurance company sent. It was the best decision I made they had my basement back together in no time
I found it interesting to read some of the other reviews since I could directly relate to what everyone else was writing. Be weary if your Insurance company chooses 24Restore to do your "work". My experience with them is graded at D+. My first issue is they provide a line item estimate indicating everything they claim they are going to do (which technically is turned into Insurance). Problem is, when it's over and done, they actually don't do all the line item things. I had two major items that were never completed, and when I questioned it, at least for one of the items I was asked "How do you think we're supposed to do that?". Then why is it a line item of work? Second, they missed at least THREE major deadlines. My 6 week restore project took FIVE months. There is very poor communication, and it wasn't uncommon to go days or weeks without anyone showing up to do anything. In fact you need to keep on your toes and keep calling them to figure out what is going on. And if you start to complain, they hang up on you. They apparently have other clients that will be more important than you. But they do provide great Lip Service. They tell you a lot of things, but they just don't happen. One specific event that was promised during our final walk thru was to have a professional cleaning service come out (that was a line item also), but it never happened. (I'm writing this 9 weeks past). Lip Service: if it isn't documented, it must have never happened. During our final walk thru, I brought up some of these issues again. One such item was the missed deadlines (They said, "it wasn't their fault our basement flooded"), which has nothing to do with deadlines. But we were verbally told by the PM that they have a policy that allows a refund for missing deadlines. Remember, they missed THREE. So I deducted that from my final bill. Now they're harassing me for that. This is where documentation comes in. Lip Service: Apparently they don't support or back their own people who verbally tell us what they will take care of. Back in the good old days, a persons' word was all you needed. On a somewhat positive note, they did come and redo the terribly poor quality initial work, though they acted like they were doing US a favor. Bottom line, stay away from this company. They're bottom line goal is collecting money, NOT servicing the customer.
My insurance company came to an agreement for a specific amount on a claim. My insurance company provided me the funds and instructed me to call them to pay. I used my debit card and told her the amount to take out. They ended up taking more money. I call them the same day to get the charges reverse and they declined.. that's call stealing... This company will take forever to do the work and steal your money. I will be disputing the charges.

What started out as a good experience has ended up negative. 24 Restore was very quick to respond and the representative was very professional and courteous. I have no complaints about the 2 service people with whom I worked - they were really great. However, after more than a week, the company's efforts failed to accomplish the basic objective - dry the area affected by the pipe leak. It amazed me when they sent me a bill for more than $5,000...for an incomplete job that didn't work. Beware of VERY high rates, no estimate (just rates for materials and time) and a BIG bill at the end, regardless of the results.
Adam did a very good job. He let me know the time line and stuck to it.
Travis and Connor came out to help me after I had water damage in my basement. Their work is very fast and professional. They made a stressful event less stressful and easier to deal with. I would highly recommend 24Restore for all your needs with restoration.

DO NOT HIRE 24Restore! Complete waste of time! Joshua H came to our house 1/22 to inspect damage from a pluming job gone bad, the repairs were not significant (Sheet rock, siding and painting). Joshua left our house asking for a 5 star review on google which he definitely does not deserve. Joshua provided NOTHING more than LIP SERVICE to my job. Every call was excuses and nothing ever got done. Joshua tried to have me sign agreements to pay for the damage repairs that were not my responsibility, very poor company process. If I had signed I am sure 24Restore would have sued me, as other reviews have stated. BEWARE!

Striking while iron still hot. Travis was thorough, professional, personable. Extensive diagnosis and explanation of our issue, inside and out. Six below! Wind chill 20 below. Travis checked dryer vent connection outside, concluded primary source of issue. Bottom line, Travis says no mitigation necessary. 24Restore recommended to us by another local service we use. We have had tremendous service from 24Restore in our last 3 encounters. Our last dealings was a septic issue that backed up into our bathroom and flowed into the family room. 24 Restore was on site within 30 mins of my initial contact on a Sunday morning. Scheduling for the rest of the work (Josh D) revolved around our schedule. Between carpet removal and install (Adam and Quinton) to bathroom drywall repair, vinyl tile removal and install (Loren B) was smooth and hassle free on our end. 24 took care of getting the estimate provided to our insurance company and was approved within 24 hours, thank you Tricia B! Overall, I would highly recommend 24Restore!

Larson plumbing recommended 24 restore after my water heater broke and left me with a flooded basement. The next day they had someone out to assess and he was ready within mins to get the job done. Travis Came out for my service call! He was awesome. He was professional, calm and soft spoken. He explained every step of the way what he was doing and what the next steps would be. Both him and Jake did a marvelous job and I was very impressed of how clean they left my home after working. He checked in often to make sure everything was working well and left sufficient information on how to contact him or the company if someone was not right or I was dissatisfied. I Highly recommend these guys...

I would give them a ZERO, if that was possible. Worst company I have ever encountered. I called them in late August . I had a leak in my master bath that damaged the vanity and the dry wall It took 24 Restore over a week to remove the vanity and dry out the area. While removing the vaniety, I heard a crash. One of the workmen broke a vase in another room and neglected to report it. Two weeks later, a workman came out to repair the dry wall. He claimed he needed to remove the toilet. For almost three months, we still had no vanity and the toilet sat blocking the closet. In the middle of the job the case manager either quit or was fired. His replacement then told me I responsible for getting the vanity and finding a plumber to reinstall the toilet 24 Restore removed. I left a voicemail for the manager. Although, he never returned my call, they did send out someone to reinstall my toilet. In the meantime, I hired a different company to install the vanity and plumbing. It is now 10 months later, we are on our 3rd job manager and 24 Restore still has not completed the job of installing the trim around my door and the baseboards in my bathroom.

I called them and their mitigation crew led by Kaitlyn D came out and did a great job ripping out what was necessary and made sure everything was thoroughly dried out. Afterwards, Sean B came out as project mgr for the reconstruction process and did a great job handling paperwork and getting samples for carpet and tile. Due to the extent of water damage on lower & upper levels of my home, three separate crews were required to get everything back to normal & each crew were professional and did quality work (sheetrock install & paint, carpet install, natural stone tile & trim install). Carpenter Ethan H & Riley went above & beyond in their work replacing my natural stone tile floor & doing the carpentry work for trim and closet doors. I want to give them special mention b/c they were outstanding. I would put myself on a waitlist to have these guys working in my house, no joke. It's rare to find people who not only work hard and are a joy to work with but also take seriously the quality of work they do. They were scheduled in a way that required 2 longer than normal working hour days and they still did not try and speed things up that would possibly impact the level of quality no matter how slightly recognizable by the homeowner. Ethan takes pride in his work and is a huge asset for any company or client he does work for, no question. My grandparents and great grandparents were home builders and construction workers who had similar work ethics that today some cynical people of older generations think is gone from younger generations, but they'll be proven wrong meeting Ethan and those like him. Our dishwasher was leaking and damaged our kitchen floor. 24 Restore took 8 days to come in and dry the place out. It should have been done in 3 days if they would have, initially, cut out 8 sq. ft. of the first of two plywood subfloors. On day 6 after they removed the subfloor, it was dry the next day. The bigger issue started after we hired them to do the reconstruction - 378 sq. ft. of laminate flooring (my mistake for not getting other bids) . Bottom line, the floors in our laundry, kitchen and dining room were half demolished causing us to walk over broken laminate for 4 weeks before they started replacement (plus no usable dishwasher all of the demo and reconstruction time). They ended up finishing the reconstruction 3 days after the contract completion date. Also, before I signed the contract, they had promised on two occasions to only use their in-house employees on my job and not use subcontractors. This was important to me as reviews spoke highly of their installers. The first subcontractor they sent out declined our job as he said he could not make any money at the rate 24Restore would pay him. More time passes and another installer comes out. It takes him 7 days to finish the job as he was also working at the same time on another install job for them. After 44 days have passed the job is completed and the salesman (24Restore refers to them as Project Managers) calls the next morning and wants us to sign off so they can get the other half of the bill invoiced (and no doubt get his commission). During my review of the detailed job description I noticed some of the work billed had not been done. Including detach and reset baseboards and apply fresh coat of urethane to baseboards and quarter rounds. After contentious and stressful negotiations they agreed to take off 50% of the cost for the work never done ($300). These guys are experts at misleading statements and arguing their case. I would never deal with them again as the truth escapes them.
