They say they can finance anyone, but they really let me down
They say they can finance anyone, but they really let me down. My credit is decent (above 600), but they kept me waiting for ages. They were so unprofessional! They asked for my SIN number and wouldn't help me without it. (I gave in, but then had to report it to CRA.) They left me in the dark and then blamed me for giving off red flags. They wouldn't let me speak up for myself and just ignored me. I'm glad I didn't give them any money, but I had to report my SIN to CRA and change all my banking info. ***.

I went to 5 STAR DEALERS in London Ontario on October 15th
I went to 5 STAR DEALERS in London Ontario on October 15th. I drove for 6 hours from Chesterville to see a 2015 *** RC 350 F AWD. I talked to *** and told him I didn't like the damage on the rims. I put a $1500 deposit with an etransfer to hold the car. After I left London, I thought the car was too expensive. I asked the SALES MANAGER *** to give me my deposit back because I didn't sign anything. *** said he could only give me $300 of my $1,500 deposit because he fixed the rims and he needed to "get his money back." Is that even legal?
I bought a car from 5 Stars Dealers and it was a bit of a bumpy ride
I bought a car from 5 Stars Dealers and it was a bit of a bumpy ride. They said everything was good with the brakes, but I've never replaced them before so I wasn't sure. They did admit to forgetting to order a new mirror and replace it, which was a bit annoying. I put down 2000 bucks and traded in my old Toyota Camry, but they only gave me 1500 for it and didn't tell me upfront. They also lied about what papers I was signing. The brakes were completely rusted out and the passenger mirror was held on by a zip tie, but they said it was safe. I never got any proof of it being safety. After a month of pestering them, they finally admitted to the mirror and said they would replace it and the brakes. They said they ordered a new mirror and would call me in 2-3 days, but a week went by and they said they still had to order it.
I bought a car from 5 Stars Dealers on April 23
I bought a car from 5 Stars Dealers on April 23. I got a 2015 car in August , but it had problems. After fighting with them for months, they finally gave me a new car that they said was in great condition. But when I left the lot, I found out that there were a lot of issues with it. The sensors, lights, heater fan, AC, speakers, and engine were all not working properly. The car is not even 80 percent healthy. I had to pay to get it diagnosed at a certified dealership. The cost of the car doesn't match its condition. I need to take it to a specific dealership to get it serviced. The VIN is *** for a 2015 *** CLA 250 ***. I gave 5 Stars Dealers the contact info for the dealership, but they haven't reached out yet.

I got a truck from 5 Stars Dealers on June 9
I got a truck from 5 Stars Dealers on June 9. When I was driving home, I noticed a shake at 90 km. I texted the sales rep to let him know about the shake and that the AC wasn't working and there was still bodywork that needed to be done. He said he would contact me about a date for the repairs. From June 9-17, I contacted the rep many times asking when it could come in for repairs. Finally, on June 17, he gave me the date of June 29 for the repairs. I dropped the vehicle off on the evening of June 28 and then contacted them again on June 30 to see what was going on since I hadn't heard anything yet. On the 30th, they told me that they weren't fixing the AC since they had already taken money off. There was no bodywork that needed to be done, and they hadn't looked at the shake. They were supposed to look at the shake and call me, but they didn't. I called on July 2, and they said there was no shake, so I went to pick it up. It still shakes when driving.
I traded my ride in and was told I'd lose a grand, but ended up getting screwed for 5995 bucks
I traded my ride in and was told I'd lose a grand, but ended up getting screwed for 5995 bucks. They said I wouldn't have to make a payment, but then I did. I got a new whip and asked how much I'd lose if I traded it in for a Honda Civic. They said only a grand, but I actually lost almost 6 grand (I got texts to prove it). They told me to sign some papers to stop a payment from coming out of my account, but I didn't get the new car yet. They promised the payment wouldn't come out, but it did. The bank said the dealership didn't give them enough money, and I only got a partial refund. The bank said the dealership owes me the rest.
I bought a Jeep from 5 Stars Dealers on August 26
I bought a Jeep from 5 Stars Dealers on August 26. Right away, I had some problems. The change oil light came on and then the engine light. The exhaust was coming into the cabin and the window didn't work. The frame was also rusted. On August 27, the window still didn't work. On August 28, the change oil light was on again, even though they said they changed the oil. On August 29, the engine light came on. On September 4, there was an exhaust leak in the cabin. The front end shakes at 100 km per hour and the back brakes get stuck after backing up and shifting into drive. There's also a loud noise before accelerating to 2 kms. The battery has a purple coating on it and the oil was black with dirt in it. I asked for the vehicle information package, but Justin said he would get it to me and I still don't have it. Justin's boss said he gave it to me, but I never received it. I asked if the Jeep was in an accident, but they didn't respond. They've been giving me the runaround since August 21. When I asked to test drive the Jeep, Justin said it was in the garage getting safetied. I also asked for the carfax, but Justin said he would email it to me with the bill of sale. This is my first time financing a vehicle and Justin said I need to bring it to their garage if it needs to be fixed. I hope no one else has to go through what I went through for the last 3 weeks.
I buyed a car from 5 Star Dealer in Novemver 2019 and I have been having problems with it since then
I buyed a car from 5 Star Dealer in Novemver 2019 and I have been having problems with it since then. The transmission has been slipping since the first day I got it and I brought it to the dealer to look at it but they said it was normal. But my mechanic said it was not normal and I have been contacting them many times with the same issue but they keep telling me they can't do anything for me. Now my car is overheating and it has been in the garage many times for the same reason. I got stuck on the side of the road with the car when it overheated and I had to call for a towing to come tow my car. We also had a problem with the handbrake that is loose and they said it was normal when you drive the car it's shaking a lot. They told me I was going to have new tires on the car but they were used tires on it and I almost got into 2 accidents with the car. I told them about the problem but they keep telling me they can't do anything for me. My car has been in and out of the garage for 3 weeks now. I want to talk to them to ask them to put me into a different car but they told me no that I was not allowed. I have not missed a payment on this car and I have had the car for 8 months and nothing but trouble with it. I am sick and tired of not being able to enjoy the car with my family. It's always in the garage. I have all paperwork and all receipts of all the parts I have put into the car.
I bought my 2016 Nissan Rogue from a highly rated dealership on Dundas St in London this year
I bought my 2016 Nissan Rogue from a highly rated dealership on Dundas St in London this year. It was making noises while driving and got worse, so I took it to my mechanic who said it was the struts. I returned to the dealership and they repaired it, but then the check engine light came on and the car kept trying to stall. I had to wait for 7 hours and then come back again for another half hour. They resolved the issue, but later the windshield got broken and I had to wait another 2-3 hours. Two months later, the stalling issue recurred and the check engine light reappeared. My mechanic identified the problem as a crankshaft position stuck in advanced and recommended replacing the valve timing solenoids. He noted one had been replaced with a non-original part when it should have been an OEM part. The dealership suggested this occurs when the oil isn't changed regularly, but I was assured the maintenance was up to date before my purchase.
