August 25, Wednesday, 6:30 PM
August 25, Wednesday, 6:30 PM. JM Lexus gave me a brochure, and it says if I buy the wrong car, I can return it, no questions asked. So, I called the Rep, Ryan Allison on Saturday, August 28th, early morning (10 AM), and I told Ryan that I didn't want the car and wanted to return it. He said he would cancel the whole deal. But when I emailed him to let him know when I would return the car, he said he already put my trade-in up for auction! Now I'm stuck with a car that I don't like how it works, and the dealer didn't keep their promise. I even agreed to pay any negative equity from my trade-in (an Audi A3). I want a resolution where I can return the car to JM Lexus and pay off the negative equity to them. Also, JM Lexus has a written policy that they will buy my car without me having to buy a car from them.

On Oct 9, I went to JM Lexus at 9 am for a simple oil change. At 4 pm, I called JM Lexus because I hadn't received a single phone call to pick up my car. Finally, they told me my car was ready. A simple oil change shouldn't take all day. So, I arrived at the dealership at 4:55 pm to pick up my car. I was rushed to pay and then thrown outside into the rain to wait for my car. I got my car home, and since I work from home, I didn't use the car on Sunday. On Monday, when I went to use the car, I noticed a crack in my windshield. The only people who had touched my car were the people at the Lexus dealership. I went to the dealership and explained the cracked windshield. I spoke to and emailed every so-called manager there, but Lexus is refusing to replace the windshield. I had to pay $200 out of pocket for Safelite to come to my home and fix my windshield. I even called corporate headquarters, but still no callback.

Issue/repair with my car - 2020 Lexus IS I leased my Lexus IS the first week in January (last month), 2 weeks later I noticed the area near the radio is lifting.. I reached out to the sales person who we leased the car from and he said it wouldn't be a problem and that Lexus would take care of it.. I brought the car in to service where they told me they "believe" my brand new air freshener is whats causing my interior to peel, and that I would have to pay $2900 for this. I called and made a case to see what could be done because this is outrageous to me.. It is now over a month and I had to finally reach a supervisor because I have never actually spoken to my case manager because he is always unavailable. The supervisor wasn't anymore helpful or concerned with my case. I am so disappointed, I have never had this type of issue with a car or with such poor quality of a "luxury" car. My air freshener did not cause this, it never leaked and there was no substance or residue on the interior of my car for them to have cause or proof of this ridiculous accusation.

I bought my car on December 17th, and it's now February 23rd, 2022
I bought my car on December 17th, and it's now February 23rd, 2022. I still haven't received my registration. I've been calling to talk to someone about this, leaving my name and number, but nobody has gotten back to me. Now I can't register my car, and they're saying I have to pay $161 in late fees to get my registration. I gave them everything they needed to file my paperwork, but they haven't been able to do it because they're "swamped" at the dealership. So now I have to pay for their mistake? Two weeks ago, I went to the tag office in GA to see if they could speed up the process, but they told me that the dealership hasn't even submitted the paperwork for my car. And now I can't get in touch with anyone to fix this problem. Meanwhile, I'm pregnant and have to keep asking for temporary tags so I can go to my doctor's appointments and work.
I bought a car from JM Lexus and it turns out there's a recall on it
I bought a car from JM Lexus and it turns out there's a recall on it. I contacted the dealership and Lexus financial and corporate. In February , I went to JM Lexus to buy a car and everything went smoothly. But about 9 months later, Geico, my insurance company, sent me an alert saying that the car had a safety recall. So I made an appointment and they gave me a loaner car. The guy there told me it would take a few weeks to get it fixed. I took the ES thinking it wouldn't be too long. But then I read about the recall and it said that the fuel pump could stop working, which could cause the car to suddenly stall or hesitate while driving. That's a big risk, especially if you're going fast. So I called JM Lexus and a guy there said I could trade in my car, but I would probably owe more than it's worth. He didn't even let me talk, I had to interrupt him just to get a word in. If I wanted to trade my car for personal reasons, I would understand, but this is a safety issue. It's not my fault, it's a problem with the manufacturing. I don't want this car because of the mechanical problems. So then I called Lexus Financial, but they couldn't do anything and told me to contact corporate. A really nice lady answered and said someone would get back to me within 24 hours. She was the only one who seemed to care. But then a guy called and he had a really rude tone, like he didn't care about me or my problem. I was really disappointed. He said it would take 4-6 weeks to get an answer. Then I got a letter from a lady at corporate, but I've been trying to reach her for 2 weeks and she hasn't responded. Finally, today she answered my call and she was extremely rude. She said she was out for a few weeks and couldn't give me any answers. At least she could have listened to my concerns like a human being. I let it go and told her I hope she feels better soon. So to sum it up, they gave me a loaner car (Lexus ISXXX XXXX) and that's the car with the recall. I hope the fuel pump doesn't stop working on this one. I wanted to stick with Lexus, but they're making it hard for me to stay as a customer. By the way, the only two people who have been understanding are Nick, the sales manager, and the first lady I talked to at corporate.
Vehicle is under Recall and car Alarm light is on for the proceeding Recall
Vehicle is under Recall and car Alarm light is on for the proceeding Recall. Car is not able to be driving. Dealer will not provide loaner vehicle. I got a SAFETY RECALL NOTICE from Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. The notice says that my 2017 Lexus RX350 SUV has a fuel pump malfunction, which can cause the vehicle to stall while driving and potentially lead to an accident. The Malfunction Indicator light on my car is also on, confirming the issue. I scheduled an appointment with JM Lexus, and they called me on the morning of 5/18 to let me know that they didn't have the part for the repair. They offered to reimburse me for a rental car from Enterprise, but I declined and requested a loaner vehicle similar to my Lexus instead. Vanessa, one of the Supervisors, assured me that they would have a loaner vehicle ready for me when I arrived at my 2pm appointment. However, when I got there, Ryan, one of the service agents, told me that they wouldn't provide me with a loaner vehicle. I asked to speak to a manager, and the director of Service said they would give me a loaner vehicle, but only if I provided them with a credit card for a hold on several hundred dollars. Unfortunately, I don't have a credit card as my credit is in default due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Since Lexus sold me a vehicle with a dangerous safety recall and the car is not drivable, I believe they should provide me with a comparable loaner vehicle until they fix the problem. According to their service contract, they are supposed to provide a loaner vehicle for any service issues that take more than 2 hours, with no mention of needing a credit card as a guarantee. I have insurance, and this is a manufacturing issue caused by Lexus. I am requesting that they replace my vehicle immediately with a loaner and fix the recall before I get injured or stranded without transportation.
I bought an engine with a 1 year warranty from JM Auto, Inc
I bought an engine with a 1 year warranty from JM Auto, Inc. 7 months later, they won't fix it because it's a used engine. I got a used 2007 Lexus ES350 in February. The engine went bad in March, so I took it to the nearest Lexus dealership. I called around for quotes, but decided it would be better to buy the engine from the dealer. After all, it's Lexus, a name that used to mean fancy, good quality, and trustworthy. I was wrong. I had the car towed and paid $99 for them to check it. They said the engine would come with a 1 year warranty. I told them there were lights on the dashboard before the engine issue. Once the engine was put in, they said there were still lights on the dashboard. When I asked what the lights were from, they said they didn't know. I told them I paid the $99 fee and they said they couldn't check it because the engine was dead when it came in. I asked Michael Alfano why they didn't check it once the engine was in and he said it would be another fee. I asked for a manager, but he wasn't helpful. He only talked to the mechanic after I kept insisting how ridiculous this was. That's when my husband and I decided we would NEVER buy another Lexus. Now, my car won't start and the engine is leaking oil. I wasn't worried about the cost because it has a 1 year warranty and I bought it in March. Michael Alfano called me and said my starter was bad and there was an issue at the front of the engine. I mentioned my warranty and he said the 6 months were up. I reminded him it was a 1 year warranty, but he said they wouldn't cover it because it was a used engine (an engine I bought from Lexus). Every time I deal with JM Lexus, I feel like I'm talking to someone from another planet. My experiences are never nice or professional. After talking to Michael Alfano, I remembered why we didn't buy from Lexus. He showed no empathy and had a very cocky tone. I asked for a manager like I did before, but no managers were available because it was after 5 pm. I left a message on the manager's voicemail, but I'm sure she won't be any help.
I been to this Lexus Location 3 times for the same problem
I been to this Lexus Location 3 times for the same problem. They charged me for guess work on my car and never fixed it. My Lexus kept telling me my key not recognized. Car wouldn't start. I fiddled with remote and after pressing panic button, car would recognize key and start. Next day, car wouldn't let me open door. I opened it manually but car wouldn't start and message said key not detected. Pressed panic button again and car detected key and started. Went to Lexus dealership to get key serviced and problem fixed by experts. Thought they could fix it since they trained on Lexus computers and mechanics. First visit, they charged $800 and said problem not key. I explained what happened but they said problem was something else and fixed it. Same problem happened again that week. Took Lexus back and told them problem not fixed. Instead of honoring what I already paid, they charged $400 to fix same problem again. Told them about key again but they said key not problem. Went home and 2 days later, same problem. Went back to dealership and told them problem still there. Explained I'm on disability and can't afford to pay multiple times for same problem. Asked them to guarantee their work. Charged $1200 this time for third time fixing same problem. Told them I can't afford to come back a fourth time and asked them to consider replacing or repairing key. They said find someone else if I come back. Had patience to come back 3 times and pay 3 separate times for same problem that still not fixed. Had patience to pay money I can't afford so car could be fixed by Lexus Pros. Explained problem multiple times and how car only recognizes key after pressing panic button. But Lexus reps didn't have patience or consideration to listen and try replacing key chip or guarantee their work. Didn't understand why a 64-year-old on disability is upset about being charged 3 times for same problem when can't afford it and came to Lexus to avoid guess work. Bought this car before retiring and took care of it. Never thought coming to Lexus to solve simple problem of key not recognized would result in lack of accountability at this Lexus Location.
