In Dec 2023 I noticed my garage door was starting to bow. I called A1 for assistance. I was told the door needed to be replaced. With no other repair option, I selected a middle of the road $7000 garage door. The new door was not installed until Feb 2024. I was not home when the door was installed, as my husband was going through cancer treatment out of town. When I finally got to see the door, it looked great. Within 4-6 months, the trim pieces started to warp and left large gaps that you could see through. I called to have this looked at. They said that the work was covered under warranty and that they would replace the trim. The trim was finally replaced on 8/30/2024. In early November 2024, the trim began warping again. The rep that came out said that the previous installer did it incorrectly, but he would reorder the supplies, and they would replace the trim yet again. Since Aug of this year, I have had a minimum of 8 appointments, all being 5-hour time slots. Many of which had been cancelled, or the Tech was a no show when they sent notifications that they were on the way. My last appointment for 12/5/2024 was cancelled on 12/4/2024 after receiving a notification to confirm my appointment. Needless to say, the trim has not been replaced. Every time I schedule an appointment with them, I have to clear my work schedule to be available. I am losing money and beginning to lose my patience. Even though everyone is so nice, no one is doing anything. I've spoken to an "office supervisor" twice. She just listens and does nothing. A manager finally called me and assured me she taking this to top because this is not how A1 wants to be known. She offered me a very small financial incentive to move passed this, which I declined. For all the talk she gave me of her taking this to her senior leaders... I've heard nothing more in over a month. The work ethic and dependability is completely lacking with this company. Definitely do not recommend.

Claimed loss: I've had at least 4 appointments that have been cancelled. I'm unable to work during these time periods so that I can be readily available. Plus, I shouldn't need trim replacement TWICE so soon after new installation.

Desired outcome: I want some sort of credit to go towards my garage door financing. I thought I was paying a higher rate because I was getting quality service and peace of mind that this company had my back for all garage door needs.
