Cancel it by saying it was a fruadulant charge. Tell your credit card company you have no idea how they got your card regardless. Since these guys are crooks it takes acting like one to get your money back. . . So be it

I ordered a TRIAL package back in February. Never received it. From that point on I've been charged for a package every month and have not received one order! I've called the Company and was spoken to as if I was the one committing a crime! I was hung up on when I told them I wanted a refund in the amount of $261.40. But first I asked who I was speaking to and was told Jenifer (I doubt that's really her name). I even had to tell her to slow down as she was speaking extremely fast and in a foreign accent (Spanish). I received an email stating that they could not refund my money due to "Company Policy".

Can't the U.S. Government do something about this fraud that obviously continues to take place (at April 22, 2009)? It's ridiculous. They all should be locked up with Madoff!

Ordered free trial, never rec's anything else to cancel or reorder and charged my card without permission. Very uncooperative when you try to cancel and receive a refund. They state their Company has a no refund policy. I hope someone puts them out of business and collects all monies made from this scam and sends back to all consumers effected by this. Companies do this because they can!

What poor customer service… they said that I ordered something from them and it was my fault that I did not receive product. When I called because they charged my account they said I should track down the product and call them back to request a refund. OMG I can’t believe this company- what a scam!

This seems to be part of a large, well-financed, and talented scam team. They appear to hawk several products such as colon cleanse and tooth whiteners. There is no physical address. Try to reach them and all you get is "info@acaiherbal.com" email. From complaints of other victims, it appears these folks move around from state to state.

Their site contains endorsements. Allegedly Hollywood/TV prominents Rachael Rae and Oprah are heavy endorsers. The degree to which Rachel Rae appears on the site indicates that she really could be involved.

The web sites are aggressive and programmed to take control of the user's computer. If you try to click away from their site, their code will block your browser's ability to back up or even close. On a Mac OSX--use "Force Quit" immediately. The site tries to direct you to watch videos and interact with a supposedly "live agent."

If you try to cancel your order or subscription through one of the "live agents, " the garbage you'll get back in reply has no bearing on your issue of wanting to cancel. It appears they have a computer programmed to generate a few replies or a few poorly educated telemarketers under orders to send out just certain canned responses.

Here is a transcript of my attempt today:
"Megan Says:Hey Wait! We would hate to see you go without trying Premium Acai Berry the Number #1 weight loss product in America! So just this once I can offer you a 50% discount on shipping, so now only $1.97! (Normally $3.95) To take advantage of this special last minute discount just CLICK HERE and use coupon code HALFSHIP to get your discount! Hurry before this special offer expires!

Megan Says:And with our 30-day Money Back Guarantee if you are not satisfied with the results, simply return all unopened bottles for a refund. That's how sure we are that Premium Acai Berry will work for you!

Megan Says:When you are ready just type 'Hi' to chat with me today...

You I want to cancel my subscription, Megan. How can I do that?

Megan Says:Sure contact our helpful support team at info@acaiherbal.com with any questions about the products you might have. You can also contact our billing and customer service staff at this e-mail address.

You:Where is the physical address of your company and a phone, please?

Megan Says:Sure contact our helpful support team at info@acaiherbal.com with any questions about the products you might have. You can also contact our billing and customer service staff at this e-mail address."

The fact that FTC hasn't shut this thing down after scamming thousands of people for months is troubling. It makes me wonder if connected VIPs really are behind it who have the influence to prevent being prosecuted and these sites shut down.

I agree with those who advise cancelling your credit card. In fact, canceling my card AND moving my accounts to a new institution and starting over might even be warranted. These people seem to be BAD NEWS. Avoid their site .

I also intend to boycott anything related to Rachel Rae, Oprah or any Hollywood divas who appear on this site as connected with scamming so many innocent people.

STEPS to TAKE

(1) Notify your credit card issuer (bank or credit union) and get these scam artists decoupled from your account. Cancel any credit card you used and get a replacement.

(2) log into https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and fill out a complaint form.

These folks are bad news. From what we see here, they have their hooks into victims and will not let go.

I see a couple of apologists on this site blaming the victims for not reading tiny print that the site is designed to divert your attention from. The conditions are not up front and they are not revealed until you've put in your personal information and credit cards already. What the ads are hawking are free samples. These sleasebags are tricking people and scamming them. The number of complains shows the severity of the deceit.

I ordered a "free trial" of Acai Berry as advertised on-line. When I received my trial. It came only with one piece of paper with information. It did not tell me to call and cancel my "order" before 14 days or I would be charged $87.00. No where in the previous "sign up" information did it even state how much the product costs or if future orders would be shipped. I called the company when I saw my bank was charged and they said: "Sorry you accepted the free trial so there is nothing we can do about it." What a scam!

After the trial bottle trial, they automatically charged to my credit card account for a new bottle US$79.90; as they said I don't call to stop the subscription. However, I never see any agreement on the e-form whilst I made the trial order. And they charged me on April 14th, as of now (April 27th) there is no products receive from them. I tried email the person who contact me, sales office, and maybe their support email. NO one answer my question, and don't know what I can do now. I plan to report to our HK Consumer Council, no matter they will send me the bottle or refund, at least - I don't want others' will get into this "set-up". They intented to charge $ and not shipping any products. And I cannot found their official web site or any customer support. I read lots of complaints from this board - seems we got the same issue. If anyone may advise. That will be good. Herewith the email that I try to contact them :

"Support, Vital Acai"

BUYERS BEWARE... I did as anyone else did. Bought this FREE 30 trial off the internet. The only thing they don't tell you is that you will be charged for another bottle within 15 days of your order. Not 30 from the time you receive it. I did get my bottle, and it does work. BUT... when you don't get it for 10 days after you order your FREE trial, and then 3 days later they are already charging your card. There is something wrong with this picture. I called after I seen it on my bank statement and called the number attached. They just didn't understand why I wanted to cancel it. They asked why... DUH... What do you think, I didn't even get the chance to try it for the 15 days to see if I liked it or not, before being charged again. Then they try to offer you something else.. I DON'T THINK SO... I finally had to get nasty and tell her to cancel the D _ _ _ thing, I don't want to deal with them anymore. They are doing false advertising and should be reported for that.

FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND. Bromalit and Acai Berry charged over $300.00 on my credit card. I cancelled with the 14 day trial but they still charged my credit card and claimed that I was not in the system. Then they tried to negotiate the price with me. I stil refused and was told too bad now you will have to accept the charges. Filed a complaint on line with BBB and they gave me a full refund with an apology stating that they offer a 100% refund guaranteed if not completely satisfied. Better Business Bureau totally rocks and thank you to everyone for submitting your complaints on Complaintsboard .com. I was able to support my claim by linking the Complaintsboard.com in my complaints with the BBB and was able to prove that this is not an isolated incident. There are a lot of people being ripped off. I am definitely adding complaintsboard.com to my list of favorites.

Ordered Acai Berry Pills and the Total Cleanse. Called w/in 15 days to cancel and was told I would only be charged $8.99 + shipping for "free bottle" of Acai Berry. I had their offer right in front of me and I started to read it to the gal on the phone who barely spoke english and said she was in Miami, FL. She went round and round with me and I finally prevailed. She said only the shipping charges would be applied and I was satisfied until I received my next bank statement...that potlicker stuck me with $8.99 anyway. Stinking liar. I filed a formal complaint with my cc company. How on earth do people sleep at night when they are so dishonest?

BYER BEWARE-THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!
I came across this article about this product, Oprah recommended. FREE just pay shipping. Such a lie. I have been fighting with these people for 4 months now. Every month they charge my card for three charges- 81.95, 4.95, 2.95. You call them they suddenly have phone problems, you email them they ignore you. I have been assured that they latest charges have been refunded to my card. ONLY after I threatened to sue them. The kicker is the only reason I even tried it was because of Oprah. I will never do that again.

Some of these trial offers acai x appear to be cleverly couched in rhetoric and fictiishic delivery dates. Someone should investigate these offers to protect consumers from unwarranted and unsolicitious charges that could amount to hundreds of dollars. I am trying to resolve mine, but suddenly the email web addresses are unable to locate ... their delivery date differs from your actual date of delivery...

I ordered the product online by mistake, and contacted the Wellness centre straight away to cancel order and they would not allow me too, until I received the product, then I could send it back if I didnt want it due to the guarentee period. I received the product in the mail, and sent it straight back the next day, which cost me $20 australian dollars to send it back to the USA, which was over 2 weeks ago. I checked my mail box last night 05/05/09 and it was resent back to me?
I clearly stated I didnt want the product and I have evidence that I sent it back and my credit card has been charged for a product I dont want, nor do I need, nor did I sample!

I have stopped the debit on my card, so stop sending this product to me!

I just ordered the free Premium Acai Berry free trial and yes, this is SUCH A SCAM. an additional $78 hit my account after I agreed to pay $3.95 for shipping ONLY. There are no terms/conditions or fine print on their website here: http://www.acaiherbal.com/

And when the money hits the account, there is no way to contact them but their email address. However, when it hits your account, the company is actually called acaitechsupport.com

And its website is here: http://acaitechsupport.com

Their customer Service phone number is [protected] . CALL THEM AND ORDER THEM TO CANCEL YOUR ENTIRE ORDER ASAP.

I ordered a product, Natures Acai Berry Supplement, via a web site https://www.trynaturesacaiberry.com/.
The product is distributed by Amir and Sanchez Nutraceuticals, who has a business address listed on the bottle as: 5425 E. Broadway Rd #282, Tucson, AZ 85711. However, their business name and shipping address as shown on their shipping label is: A.S.N., LLC. 20100 S. Vermont Ave., Torrance, CA 90502.
Their sales promotion is that one could order their product for a trial period of 14 days to see if it worked. However, they don't ship the product until a week past the order date via a slow mail service, USPS.
I was given that phone number via an order confirmation

The product arrived in the mail on 04/04/2009, twelve days after it was ordered, seven days after it was promised.
I called my credit card company and stopped payment on this order.
I am returning the product, unopened, using their shipping label as supplied.
Once I ordered the product I started receiving phone calls from unregistered numbers out of Torrance, California.

They told me they cancell the my account. Today 5/06/09, I received another package, then called the number [protected]) and as usual they are telling me that after I signed up for 14 days free trial, automatically they will send me monthly supply, but I called them already last month and return the package I've received. They are telling me that they can only refund me $83.18 if I'll return the bottle I just received yesterday. So I told them, how about last month, you did not give me refund for the botttle I return, and I'm going to return this so I should have $166.36 refund.

The lady I was talking to does not agree and told them that I will file for a complain that they are such a ###.

I was inticed into buying the product that was advertised 2 free bottles, all you pay is the shipping and handling charge. I didn't understand the membership fee of $139.97 was going to be charged before I had even received the product or there was a trial period. I sent the product back unopened and I have been told that my account will be reimbursed $110.00. That was on 4-13-09. The money still hasn't been credited to my account. I also spoke with Letitia and Brandy when trying to get my money back. I have a claim in place with my bank to have my money returned. I just wanted to say here, please make sure you know what you are agreeing to when you order a product online. I have learned the hard way. My mistake will cost me $34.97, if I get my money back.

I want to be sure no more of this product (Acai Berry) is billed to me; I do not want it. And when I called the "direct customer "number I got a tree and was asked for my credit card number. No way will I give that over the phone to a machine.

I was told I could simply cancel my "free trial" easily. This has not been easy.
I want an email that tells me I will NOT be billed for the product nor receive any more in the future.l

I returned the acai berry bottle that I got charged for about 2 weeks ago. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to get my refund of $88.55. It has been 11 business days now and I still don't have my refund. They said that they would have to redo my credit information because something was wrong, but nothing has changed on my credit information. They said I would have to wait 7-10 more business days. I am very upset, I asked to speak to a manager, but the girl on the phone hung up on me after telling me I did not need to speak to a manager. I don't know what is going on over at acai berry but they need to be retrained on customer service and data entry.

This just happened to me today! I received a call confirming my order for Acai Berry fat burner. When I told them I didn't know about the order they gave me the name and number of the site where it was *supposedly* purchased -- acaix3.com, phone number [protected]. I called and canceled the account with them, but it didn't ever cross my mind that they were actually the ones that might've thieved my credit card number. Which makes perfect sense -- they send me a product I didn't order, bill me for it, then wait a week to ask for it back or not refund the money. And at $2.79, who would go through the hassle of arguing back? Seems very suspicious.

The most frightening/infuriating part is that they called me on my work line to confirm my order. I don't know how they got that number but I think I'd only ever place orders with that number if I didn't think the company was entirely reputable, and didn't want my personal number getting on calling lists.

Anyway I'm going to hang onto the bottle as you did, we'll see what happens next.

I fell for this scam too today. I was only supposed to be charged 1.97 and then 80.33 was charged to my account which caused me to overdraft. I called the acaitechsupport number and I get a response that says they are closed, even though the website states you can call 24/7. At the Acaitechsupport.com site, there is an icon to cancel your order. You fill in your last name, the order confirmation number that you were given from acaiherbal.com, and your e-mail address. Nothing happens, I feel that this website is part of the scam too.

I did file a complaint with the FTC. I think the best thing to do is call your credit card company or bank (if using a check card). I am hoping my bank will cancel the 80.33 payment. I do plan to cancel my card and have a new one reissued. I feel so stuipd...I've never been a victim to this type of scam. I am normally very careful. I found the product on webMD, so I felt it was ligit. I was wrong.

Good luck to all you.

After finnaly finding a phone number and calling and canceling I now have two(2) more charges on my credit card. I returned the product- and they still will not give me a refund. I have now canceled my credit card and but a dispute in with the credit card. The phone number on my card is:[protected]. They are billing from KNA? and Great Britain. How do they get away with this when it was a trial. I unfortunately had a health emergency when the original arrived and so did not call within the 14 days. however I did call and cancel later and figured I only had to pay for 1. however I have 2 more charges on my credit card amounting to another 168.00.
