I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I can't take the Acai Berry or the PowerFlush. I don't wish to purchase anymore of the items.

My order number is: 1276756
Order dated 01/22/2009

There is plenty of time to stop the first months order. Please don't charge my credit card. Its only been 10 days

Me too! I signed up for a free sample of acaiberry. Cost 5.95 shipping and 79.95 purchased price showed up two weeks later. Decided I had the product so OK! I'll go ahead and pay for it. Started trying to cancel. No response to emails (the only way to contact them). Had to contact bank and have a recent, 1 month later, charge of 89.00 to my debit and 2.85 processing fee from someplace overseas to my debit card. Had to close card and bank returned my charges to me. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST OR IT WILL COST YOU!

Almost all of the companies that offer "free trial" of their product set up an automatic withdrawal on your bank account so either you forget to cancel or you are unaware that they are going to charge you.
That "free trial" is an alarm in itself!

I ordered a trial of acai berry for 3.95. I canceled as it did not work. They charged me twice twenty some dollars and also one 87.13. I contacted my bank and I am going to take this further and bring action. This was advertised on the Oprah show.

The product was ordered with a free 14 day trial period. It took 15 days to ship and they billed my credit card the day of arrival. I called to cancell and they promised to back out the charge and credit me. No such luck. All subsequent calls refer me to the cancellations department but they do not have people only e-mail. Then they provide the wrong e mail address.
Promises to contact me by e-mail have not happenned.

This company is advertising all over Myspace. Being a mom of 2 ... I saw the before and after pictures and was in eager to try this product. I wanted to do a little research to make sure there were no health concerns/side effects and found pages of complaints against this company. I have sent an email to Myspace to advise of these complaints and request this ad be removed before any other women are scammed!

When you try and call to cancel, you can not understand anyone who answers and they will not cancel your order. I have had to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. I also filed a dispute with the credit card company.

I never received the Acai berry supplement.
I want to cancel but when I call the number they say they can't pull up account.
They say the only way to cancel is to call though!
I will fight them on the $88.00 charge they will try to put through.
This is a scam!

I ordered a trial order of Acai Berry on December 28, 2008 for $3.98. The order didn't arrive until Tuesday of this week, February 3, 2009. I went online to check my bank account this evening and discovered that the company has made two withdrawals from my account in the amount of $87.13. The first was on January 11 and the second was on January 27. I called this evening and was told she would cancel further shipments, although I only asked for one and have only received one.

I have had the same experience PLUS! I ordered the AcaiBerry on 1/13/09. I received in on 1/30/09( 17 days later). I immediately tried calling the number provided to cancel any further shipments to no avail. The number was not working.I tired for 4 days with no success, the I found the website listed ion the bottle. I went in to do a "instant chat". Of course they could not find any of my information. After 16 minutes on hold, they finally found it and canceled my shipments. Within in 30 minutes of that communication, they had a hold on my VISA for $88.62. I called them back( someone actually answered the phone), and I was told I was one day late to cancel my shipment and they refused to refund my monies for the new bottle they plan on sending out. They tried to tell me it did not matter what day I received it, only what day they shipped it( to count 15 days). My suggestion, as this is what I am doing, is contact your credit card provider. Document everything as you did on this message board. It may take a while to get the money back, but I hope to be able to. The more people that report this SCAM, the easier it will be for us to get refunded.Of course, your calls, if you do get through, are rerouted to some far east country. The worst part is they just don't care.

I ordered the free trial on line and paid my shipping and handling and never even recieved the product, but I checked my account today and I have been charged 87.13 on my account. I tried calling and was put on hold 35minutes and I finally hung up. Please anyone who reads this do you have another number besides [protected] or [protected] that you have been able to get through on. I have had to close my bank account due to the charges.

i originally purchased from Acai Berry, this company has many umbrella companies that they give your credit card # too and continue to charge you, then you call and they say they have nothing to do with these companies. Such a scam watch out, it is very difficult to get them to stop, I have been in contact with my Visa company and they are going to help me stop. Get in contact with your Visa company right away! someone needs to stop this! somehow these people have found a way to legitimately steal!

I too have had over $88 charged to my account without permission and had to close my debit card so they would not charge anymore. There is no way I will ever see this money again...This just upsets me to no end and I had bounced a check because of this... These people need to be stopped! I'm afraid to put any personal information in a computer now!

You are not even dealing with a Company. They set you up with a bogus website that's just a forum for Complaints. A bogus address and a bogus product. Get rid of the card or else you will see more bogus charges without your consent!

Don't just cancel but you are safer if you can change your account if you did it thru your bank. Let your Credit Card Company be aware of the scam.

What will happen is they will sell your Credit Card Number to other telemarketers and they will run that Credit Card dry. Then you will wonder where the other charges came from.

Make sure you file charges. You can do that with the Federal Trade Commission office online. They have a form online you can submit and also ic3.gov. They also have a form online. They work with the FBI. Their form is similiar to the FBI form. You can also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office in whatever State you got the bogus product. There is a case against them as We speak.

Save some of that bogus product, you can use that against these Scam Artist. I hear alot of people are getting sick. Someone posted the ingredients on this website. One of the ingredients said "NOT DIGESTIBLE BY HUMANS."

These are a bunch of thieves to be polite. They charged me as well on my credit card. I called and raised so much hell they refunded my credit card. I hope. I received the conf numbers and contacted my credit card company and had them put the information in my file. They are going to send dispute forms to fill out in case they default on the refund. I have instructed the credit card company not to accept any additional charges from these companies. Beware there are quite a few under the same roof I believe at least 3. I have numbers for 2 of them. [protected], UT & [protected] NV. Check your credit card statements or go online and look at your account. If you must, cancel your card and get a new one. I am if this continues. The credit card companies have to do this if you request it. Be Smart! I hope this helps ya’ll in some way!

I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry from Natural Acai Berry, I was to pay only s/h. First, they charged my card more for the s/h than my reciept showed form the order online, then they sent me two bottles. Next I saw that they had put a charge thru my bank for more that I did not order! This is a scam! Beware. I finaly got thru to someone and they said that I have to contact my cc and dispute the charge, which is a rediculous process. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CO.
