I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I ordered from Natural Acai Berry a free trial offer and was asked to pay only s/h. When I recieved the product I was that I was charged more than my online order showed and they sent me two bottles. Next I notice that a large charge had come thru my bank, I found out that it was from Natural Acai Berry and called them. They told me that there was nothing they could do, but they would take my name off of the list. They wouldn't do anything except to say that I now have to call my bank and pispute the charge and go thru a rediculous proceedure to do this, and I still my not get my money back that I fell was stolen from me! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CO. IT IS A SCAM!

I tried the "free sample" and only had to pay shiiping and handling. Now they have charged my debit card for 87.13. I called their 866 number 3 times trying to talk with someone I could understand but all they have are foreigners on the phone. I could hardly understand what they were saying and would not give me a number I could call to talk with someone about canceling the charges. How can these people sleep ripping others off. I don't know of anyone that can lose 87.00 without it hurting financally. What are our options from here to get our money back?

This company charges your credit card more than just the shipping and handling that I agreed to pay. They also gave my credit card information to a third party who also charged my credit card.
I see that they operate/ship from Utah, but the phone number on my credit card statement for their charge [protected]) routes through to a call center in India. They say they will not give a refund.
This is pure fraud and I can't believe they are allowed to conduct business here. I'm sure many people don't even see these charges on their bill and these people continue to steal from them as well.
Where are our rights as consumers?
Please help get our money back and shut these people down for good.

I ordered a sample bottle, tried the product, did not like it. I then received an automatic shipment and realized I needed to cancel the product. I've called the number several hundred times with no answer. I emailed the email address and aske to cancel any other shipments. One week later I was billed again for 95.00. Again I have called many many times, still no answer. I will be going to the bank tomorrow to see what I can stop, but these people are impossible. DON'T ORDER IT NOT EVEN A SAMPLE!

I ordered the free trial from this company on 2-10-09, however, I have yet to receive anything in the mail. The company has already received the charge of $4.99 they require for shipping. The ad says the product will be shipped out in 24hours. I received the Life Cleanse, which I ordered the same day a few minutes after I order the Natures Best Acai. I hope this is not a scam, however, I am thinking it is. Michelle Campbell

Acai Berry has place an unauthorized charge on my card. I will try to get it off in several ways. First, I will cancel the card, and second I will post with the US Depeartment of Commerce. and the Better Business Bereau, Third I will notify the Federal Trade Commission. Asking for assistance from Tenessee Governments is a waste of time and effort.

This is bad business.

I know if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
But I did something really STUPIID. Despite knowing better I got the "free trial" for AcaiBurn. There is nothing free about it. And to top it off, the ad said I would have an abundance of energy. I have fibromyalgia and so I ordered it for energy. It made me so tired it was hard to even walk thru the house. I didn't stay on it long enough to find out if I really would lose some weight. But THE ENERGY PART DOESN'T WORK ! JUST THE OPPOSITE !

When I tried to cancel during the "14 day free trial" I was told I would be charged $59.00 for my order. I told them it was supposed to be a free trial. They then told me that I had to pay for my order. And on and on. I cancelled it, and am calling my bank to stop payment on any withdrawals from that company and am going to cancel my card and order a new one as soon as possible.

Don't be a sucker like me. Stay away from them. It's nothing but a scam.

The operator I spoke to said he was in Florida - but I tend to think not: his accent and his vocabulary were too English; indicating, India. The connection was bad, and having been on hold for over 10 minutes to speak to a supervisor I think it is very suspicious.

I am trying to return 4 unopened bottles after the first trial one gave me dry mouth.

I WAS SCAMMED!
On 1/4/09, while surfing the intranet, I saw an article with a headline that said “Endorsed by Oprah and Dr. Oz – miracle weight loss drug…” the article offered a “free trial” of the Acai product and a free trial of a “digestive cleanse”. I am unable to find the exact article that I read as of today (2/17/09) so don’t know the exact wording. It looked legitimate and I’ve been hearing a lot about the benefits of the Acai berry so I ordered the free trials of both the products. I gave my credit card # to pay for the shipping and handling ($5.95 and $4.95 respectively). Even before I received any of the products, I was charged more than $130 (see table below for details). When I received and reviewed my January credit card statement on 2/17/09, I then looked at my “recent” charges that hit my VISA (have not yet received a statement) online and found $250 more in charges to multiple merchants that all related to the 2 free samples that I ordered (I was charged a total of $400 for two free samples). I called the merchants listed on my statement and listed below is what I was told:
1. When I called the Dri*Wuyi Pixie Tea and Dri*Bromalite merchant (they are the same merchant) they told me that because I didn’t cancel my “membership” after 15 days of receiving the free trial, I was charged for these two products. I explained that I did not receive the free sample until yesterday (2/16/09) and that I have not received these two products. In addition, I explained that I was not aware that I need to cancel anything when I purchased the free sample or I would be charged. This merchant agreed to refund the cost of the product that I did not receive. I received no cancellation # or anything to suggest that they will or will (or will not) live up to their promise. I will have to wait to see if they honor their word. This merchant didn’t argue with me too much but I did have to ask to speak with a supervisor to get them to agree to refund the full amount. Total charges that they agreed to refund is $34.95; $69.95 and $69.95.
2. When I called www.fit-fac.com, I got a ton of lip… The agent kept trying to tell me that it was “a bundled purchase when I order the Acai Berry…” After much arguing, I finally got her to agree to refund the $29.95. This was apparently a monthly fee for some service that I wasn’t aware of and subsequently received NO information on. I was given a cancellation # for the service, nothing to suggest that they will live up to their promise to credit my credit card for the $29.95. Again, I will have to wait and see if they honor their commitment.
3. Charges related to the Acai product (all are the same merchant) in the amounts of $94.57; $88.62 and $5.95 (for the tea product) – see below. This merchant is obviously the biggest fraudster and the Agent was well trained in techniques to “wear down” the caller. I really couldn’t get anywhere with this merchant. I spoke with Courtney for nearly 40 minutes. She kept telling me that I was charged the amount above because “I neglected to cancel my membership within 15 days of receiving my trial product…” I explained that I wasn’t aware of my responsibility to cancel the “membership” and furthermore, that really didn’t even matter since I haven’t even received the products I was asking a refund for. She gave me an RMA (return materials authorization #) that I was to write on the outside of the package when I return the product. I pointed out to her how asinine that was given that I haven’t received the product (I have nothing to return). We argued back and forth for 20 minutes and I finally insisted that I speak with her supervisor. She was trained well – kept asking me what she hadn’t fully explained to me, blah, blah, blah. I finally told her I was done talking to her and she said her supervisor was busy with another customer, I told her that I would hold. She came on the line three more times trying to “talk me out of speaking with her supervisor” but I wouldn’t budge. Finally she came back on the line a fourth time and told me her supervisor asked that I fax my billing statements to them with an explanation of why I was requesting a refund. I had to get back to work so I took the number and hung up.
I immediately called my credit card company, disputed all of the charges listed (except for the two “free” samples that I did receive) and canceled my card. I then did a little research online. There are multiple sites where consumers have logged complaints against SFL Nutrition (e.g., [redacted]; complaintsboard.com, better business bureau, etc.). I have attached the BBB report for SFL Nutrition – they rated this company F – the worst rating they give. I also plan to call the Boca Raton Police Department Internet Crimes Division at [protected] and log complaints with the BBB and Federal Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.

You see how these scammers get away with your money, they know that nobody wants to read the whole "Terms and Conditions" because it's so long and complicated...but you have to, and even when you do, they count on you forgeting to cancel the services that they force you to take because that is pure profit for them.

About the Miracle weight loss, Acai berry Endorsed by Oprah,
WHY IS SHE FAT AGAIN ? There is No Such Thing as a Miracle Weight Loss Drug, Fruit, Pill, Berry or Anything...
Even if you are Oprah you have to be active to lose weight ...
People are always waiting and hopeing for a miracle and keep on paying scammers

It all comes down to one thing, the scammer will use the biggest companies' or peoples' names as you can see; Oprah, Google, Mocrosoft, your Banks' name and even their logos... They pose as the people and companies you whould normally trust, so you all better do your research before you do anything on the internet.

I got an email about Acai Berry. This product is suppose to be for detoxing and weight loss. I subscribed to a free trial for 3.97. My account was automatically charged and I received the product two weeks later. Once I received it in the mail, I opened it and realized I had two bottles. I should have only had one. I also saw on the bottom of the receipt that on Feb 21, 2009 they are gonna charge my account 79.90. I tried calling the company from various numbers that I found on the internet and on the receipt but I keep getting repeated voice messages and busy signals. A couple ours later coincidently someone from the company called me to see if I received my order. Once I told him my problem that I had with the order, he could not really say anything to me except to give me customer service phone number which happened to be one number that I already tried to call. I also noticed them being reported on the BBB. I told him that and he had nothing to say. I hung up on him.

So far I have been billed over $800 for a $3.95 shipping charge for Acai Berries. I have been lied to, hung up on, put on hold 45 minutes and told "information is private and cannot be disclosed", "you cannot speak to the credit department, it's an internal department", "you cannot speak to a supervisor, they are busy", "that company name is not related to us" "we did not give your information to any other company" "when you order the sample you have
already accepted the terms" which include further shipments, magazine subscriptions, membership in various
companies none of which was told to me.

I was charged $5.95 for Acai Berry product that I did not receive.

On 2/4/09 I was charged $88.52 for Acai Berry Tea that I did not receive or authorize charge.

On 2/16/09 I was charged $94.57 for Acai Berry that I have not received or authorized charge.

I called the 866 number and was informed that I did not cancel my trial membership within 14 days. I never received any product to cancel. I was told by the rep that the $88.52 would be refunded to my credit card, but the $94.57 product has already been shipped and I must return it before I can be refunded the $94.57. I was informed by the rep that my membership was canceled.

This company is a rip-off. I'm glad I keep check on recent transactions to my credit cards.

I, like many others, purchased the "Free" Sample of Acai Berry Detox
online, believing that my only cost was the $3.95 shipping and handling
charge. I will admit that I didn't pay attention to the fine print listed under the Money Back Offer. Wasn't I surprised to see TWO separate charges of $87.13 on my next credit card statement. I immediately called
FWM Laboratories and was told they would cancel the prescription, however, I would be responsible for the two charges of $87.13. When I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges, I advised them
I had cancelled through FWM. She said because I cancelled already, it could no longer be disputed. As I haven't even opened the original bottle,
she advised to return both to FWM in a trackable envelope. I must allow
them 30 days to process a refund. If a refund is not processed, I can then
dispute the charges. What a scam! She was VERY familiar with the company when I called which tells me that everybody is having the same issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "FREE OFFER"! MSN should be ashamed for allowing this company to advertise on it's homepage!

This company needs to be shut down and hit with a fine. They lie and steal from everyone, and they seem to be getting away with it by having people answer their phone calls that can speak very little, if any, English and are programed to keep responding with the same stupid responses everytime we ask them a question or state our dissasisfaction. They keep telling me they'll have their supervisor e-mail me and/or that my money will be put back into my checking account. What a joke! And, to top it all off, the product DOES NOT EVEN WORK!

I am also a victim of this horrible scam! The best thing to do folks is CANCEL your credit/debit card and call your cc company to have a new one REPLACED so they can NO LONGER charge your card. I luckily only was charged the S&H and realized within 24hrs. this was a scam so immediately went to my financial institution. However, i'm still getting constant phone calls from them from at least 7 identified 1-866 #'s. I'm not sure how to handle this as it's very annoying. I've spoken to many CSR's (Customer Service Reps) and they will NOT listen to me. They keep reading their script and don't listen that i'm not interested and to take my # off of their list and not to call me again. They have failed to honor this. In fact, the 'unavailable #' this time just called and i asked to speak to their manager and they hung up on me. Any suggestions on how i can get rid of them from calling me as i don't want to cancel my phone #! Good luck folks!
