I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

They got me also, they told me to only pay $3.95, for s @h, and they will send a free trial for 30 days, and not even 5 day's pasy and they took $87.00 off of my credit card, I Admittedly cancelled, and sent the product back without touching anything, now it's been a whole month, and when I call they put no hold forever hoping you will hang up, then we they see your not they say you will get a email in 3 days saying the full amount will be put back on your card!It's been 5 day's ! Im sorry im not going to let them scam me, if I have to get a Lawyer then i will!

First of all, I suggest you ask for new bank card #, because they may sell your number to other related businesses. If you receive the product, return it right away to senders, do not trust that kind of crap sold by scammers. It is useless to return it to address provided by them (China) and pay for postal service, because they will not refund you anyway. You'll have to contest charges with your bank and tell them you are victim of a fraud.

In order to unsubscribe from Acai Berry, go on the web site where the product has been ordered; clic on "contact us" or "customer service" at the very bottom of the page, and tell them you want to cancel your subscription. Enter your name, address, order #, telephone #. They will give you weird answers, but you should always respond back to them. Each time they respond to you, take note of e-mail address, and respond back, using all addresses noted. If they do not answer, re-send e-mail to each address. Do that until they finally stop sending you their crap and keep copy of everything you can.

I ordered a free trial of the acai berry product i have just received another bottle of pills and an invoice for £79. I did not order these and did not get on with the trial product it gave me severe stomach cramps. You cannot take money and send me products without me requesting them

I can see from all the entries to this site that I am not alone. Question #1 - Why is the Federal Trades Commission not doing anything about this? Question#2 - Why when these web sites are obviously scams - are they not immediately shut down or at least "tagged" as possible frauds.? It seems by now there must be technology to support an alarm system to its citizens! I suggest that all of us contact our lawmakers and get these laws set in place - I'm sure our government has these types of systems set up for their protection -- Why not Us?! I just wanted a trial sample and now I have $500 + unauthorized charges on my account. My bank is finally trying to help... but they are still in limbo about how they will help with these charges. NOTE: This is obviously a type of financial terrorism to us personally and to out banking system. It seems even though these companies may come from Isreal--- they are now in Florida -- here in our country - illegally, fraudulently ripping off unsuspecting persons. I, personally, am tired of our government being so fraudulent themselves and not protecting its citizens in anyway they can. Where is the justice? Why must the citizens" raise the roof "before attention is had. Shouldn't there be an agency attached that does nothing but web fraud - passing laws - pursuing the criminals. This international stuff is "bunk" if our citizens have access to an avenue of purchasing we should be protected the same and as if we walked into a retail outlet.

i have also had trouble i have had a substantial amount of money taken from my account with out permission...and no products delivered after the trial...i cant afford to pay for this every month and certainly if im not recieving anything its taken food fro my childrens mouths becasue i cant afford them when this money goes missing...what i would like to kow is how do i go about contacting this company and getting my money reimbursed ..is there anyone that can help me

i applied for weight loss "job" on craigs list and i received 3 bottles of pills to take and was charged on my credit card for $166.32-- when i signed up only had to pay .99 cents for shipping. now i am trying to get all money refunded to me.

I thought I was receiving a 30day free trial of pills they told me it would be sent on 7-23-09 I received it 7-29-09 called 8-3-09 and cancelled needless to say no record and now I cant find my confirmation # . My account was debited $86 because they claim I never called.

After calling the company and telling them I had not authorized that huge price for the trial pills, I got ANOTHER bottle in the mail today and on the paper inside, it says no refunds are given on any products that have already been shipped. This is America. How did we get so sly as to trick our own people with this stuff. I am really angry...

Unable to contact company within 14-day free trial period to cancel order. Their phones do not connect the caller to the right option, or any at all, the website www.myordersupport.com does not accept valid logins, and the product has not arrived. I wish I had done internet reasearch first because I now see that the product does not even work as advertised. Plus, there is an automatic renewal system which bills the credit card every month for more product I don't even want.

I ordered a free 30 day bottle of Acai Berry and had to give them a credit card to cover the .99 shipping charge. I never ordered anything else! I never received any other item from them. However, upon receiving my credit card statement today, I was charged another $82.31 for something called health cleanse, which I did not order, and do not know what it is.26f

I received the trial for Acai Berry, found they charged full price for a bottle on my credit card but did not receive the second bottle. I tried to cancel the second bottle and they have not responded and have not credited my credit card. I have contacted my credit card and filed a complaint.

I have been trying to cancel because of hidden costs.The phone numbers that they provide do not work, also email address is an unattended service.Because of this I feel like it is a scam. They say you can cancel but how can you if you can't reach them.

I ordered a free trail of acaiberry detox and i cancelled my membership, i didnt receive a bottle the next month, but all out of the blue the month after that i receive a bottle and they charged my account.I try calling them but they never let u talk to anyone. I had to go on the chat line to cancel again.

This company accessed by bank information somehow, and charged my account for over $180.00. I filed fraudulant charges against them with Washington Mutual and they let them steal monies from me!

Like apparently a lot of people coming to the Complaints Board, I've been trying to reach anyone from Detoxidant to question an $89.74 unauthorized charge on my debit card. Congrats Andrea B on getting through to any live person -- only to be disconnected. I've gotten nothing but Muzak all morning and I am furious.

The same thing happened to me - only I never even received the free trial. When I saw that they had charged my account for $87.13 TWICE - I contacted them and my credit card holder. The company said that they had only put a "hold" on the funds (total of 174.26) and that the money WOULD NOT be taken from my card and my account had been cancelled. The card holder (Wells Fargo who I will cease to do business with also) said that once the funds were "officially" taken - then I could file a fraud claim thru the bank. The money WAS taken (total of $174.26) today and now even the bank is saying that I AUTHORIZED the charges when I gave them my card number and all they can do is cancel the card so no further charges are made to it and issue me a new card/number. So - like everyone else here - looks like I'm screwed.

Not sure who I'm more upset with - me for being so stupid to fall for this, the company for being such an unethical, thieving bunch of SOBs, or the bank for not standing behind a long time (not any more) customer to help get this resolved.

I received another shipment of the Acai Berry. I did not authorize, and I do not want the product! I am returning the product unopened! Do not charge my debit card for any further shipments! I only paid for the shipping and handling for the free one time offer. Also, do not charge for any other shipments of Colon Cleanse! I am sending back the Acai Berry!

Called to cancel before the 15 day trial ended, was told by representative that no further transactions would be coming out of my account. 15 days later $119.00+ taken out. Called the company with some BS explanation that the transaction was never cancelled. I am fuming this company is a Fraud!

I'm hoping that they dont bill me! I ordered the free trial, it was on my bank account $3.95. The Acai berry people called me yesterday to thank me for my order and to explain by signing up for the free trial that i was also signing up for regular shipments every month. Well, I told her that I knew this and I also knew that I can cancel the monthly billing as long as I did it within 30 days of my free trial order (i read the fine print). Well now there is NO $3.95 charge on my bank statement AND I checked on the shipping status of my free trail and there isnt one! So on the login page I hit cancel my membership. I tried signing back in and it said that this account didnt exsist (which is good), but no confirmation of my cancellation has been sent to me. What a joke!

Acai berry tropic is a scam, charged my credit card $78.81 stating i did not cancel product in time and that they could not refund money. I asked to speak with supervisor, was told they would call me, which of course has not happen yet. There should be something we could do, not to continue letting these companies getting away with this. Yes and Miss Oprah continues to put her face on this, but of course too I don't see her dress size decreasing either.

Complain to AOL, they advertise on their home page at times.
Complain to your credit company.
Complain to all the places you can.

I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one...I told the credit card company what was happening and they sent me a new card in one week and I did not get any charges...good luck
