Adams Disaster and Restoration - Save yourself the headache
I have some termite damage to a beam in the laundry room. The company came out a provided a quote, and I hired them to complete the repair. I was advised the demolition team would contact me to do the tear out the same day. No call.. called the company the next business day and was scheduled for the repair a couple days later. They came out but did not do...

They double charged me thousands of dollars and it's been months and I haven't seen that refund. I call and they literally scream at you on the phone. The absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I haven't seen such an unprofessional contractor in my life
I haven't seen such an unprofessional contractor in my life. They didn't even start rebuild after 22 days of signing a contract and it's still ongoing. Now I have to go to civil court to settle this out. Such a headache and loss of rental income.

I am a home owner who lives out of state
I am a home owner who lives out of state. My tenants had notified me that there was a sudden leak from the water heater in the garage. It damaged the drywall and the flooring in the hallway as well. I was worried about my flooring since it continued through my entire house. Adams D&R told me that they would handle it with insurance. I didn't speak to my insurance after filing a claim initially, which Adams also helped me with. Next thing you know, I got all new flooring, a new water heater, and all the damaged materials in my walls replaced. And insurance covered it all! All I had to pay was my deductible. I cannot thank this company enough. Would definitely recommend!
Likely the worst experience I have had with a business
Likely the worst experience I have had with a business. We had a water leak and Adams came to dry the floors after the leak was stopped. The company and our insurance company came to an agreement of the cost of services and Adams billed us for $700 more than what they should have. After numerous threatening and rude phone calls from Annette in their billing department to my wife, I had enough. I called and asked for the accurate invoice. Annette continued to call and harass me and my wife even threatening to put a lien on our home if we did not pay even though we were simply waiting for the accurate invoice to pay. I have never had such an awful and rude experience with a company. Stay very clear of these folks.
We were thrilled to have been referred to Adams D&R
We were thrilled to have been referred to Adams D&R. After finding pretty extensive damage due to our water heater breaking, Adams was able to show up for an evaluation within 2 hours. The process was a lot quicker than I had anticipated and the techs made sure to keep me updated with all of the necessary steps and was always in touch with owners and staff. They answered all of my questions and made sure we were satisfied with the services provided. My home was treated with care and everything was kept as clean as possible, they wore masks and complied with COVID-19 guidelines. Overall, the process was completed efficiently and I couldn't be more satisfied with the professionalism of this company. They care about their customers and are more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and restored our home back to prime condition. Thank you Adams!

A pipe in my bathroom busted and water flooded from the upstairs all the way down to the kitchen
A pipe in my bathroom busted and water flooded from the upstairs all the way down to the kitchen...It was an absolute mess. I couldn't believe how much water was flooding all the throughout the house... Adams D&R came out and a representative named Shane arrived super fast after I called...I was freaking out because nothing like this had ever happened before...Shane helped me file a claim with my insurance company soon after arrival.. He saw how stressed out I was and comforted me with the assurance that they would clean up the mess and get everything back the way it was...He explained just pay your deductible and we will take care of the rest! They got the messed cleaned up and fixed all the damage as fast as possible.. I referred them to do my sisters house in the historic district of Phoenix and they did an amazing job as well on her flooring.I could not be more pleased with there professionalism and courtesy...Thank you again Adams for all the help and getting the job done right! Daniel...

Adams D&R just wrapped up their services at my property over the weekend and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome of the work they provided. I was in dire need of remodeling my outdated kitchen and two bathrooms, and I was recommended by my close friend to use this company. They helped me pick out materials, and they were able to keep the project within budget. The work was done quickly and was completed even sooner than the expected completion date. The crew that worked on my home was very clean, kind, professional, and did great work. Morgan in the office that helped with payment, paperwork, scheduling was a doll and very pleasant to speak with. My project manager Johnny was also friendly and very personable and really helped make sure that my vision was achieved once the project was completed. Adam's pricing was very reasonable and they even provide payment plans if needed as well as warranty their work. I truly could not be happier and I can't wait to have them come back out to replace my flooring. Thank you Adams you guys are wonderful!

*** restoration did work for us after water damage
restoration did work for us after water damage. They did not finish our work and they messed up our house and vanities. We had to hire another contractor to finish the work. They were paid by the insurance , but they send us additional Bill's and eventhough they did not satisfy the contract , asking us to pay more money . When we disputed , they are threatening us with collection. They caused us physical , emotional stress and financial damages. I need them to pay us for our damages and withdraw the collection they unethically sent. I will never advise this company to anyone.I need them to stop bothering us, with draw 5he collection and credit report and refund us for our damages.

In April, we had an issue with our 2nd story bathroom. They sent out AMPM plumbing who informed us that the leak was beneath the subfloor and reached out to another company. When the technician arrived, he informed my husband that we needed a completely new bathroom. He claimed that Adams was the preferred company by our insurance company, which turned out to be untrue as they actually recommend against using them. The technician handed my husband a bunch of paperwork, claiming it was only to initiate the claim process with the insurance company. The technician then proceeded to bring in equipment, and when my husband requested the removal of the equipment, he was told they had to leave the dryers or our insurance wouldn't cover any damages. After several attempts to have them retrieve the equipment, they finally came on Easter morning. After contacting a company recommended by our insurance and learning that the dryers were not necessary, we informed them that they would not be completing any other work on our property. Despite this, they contacted us via email and even showed up to try to complete the work. We are now in June, and Adams has been constantly harassing my husband with calls and emails all day long attempting to reach him. This business is terrible and needs to be shut down; they are shady, unprofessional, and do nothing but lie and harass.

This company's communication and customer service is horrific, constantly agreeing to come to the home or call you and never doing so when they say they will, but worst of all, their workers inflicted accidental damage upon my home during a drywall demolition process, breaking one door in a set of three matching aluminum bi-folding doors which has now caused cosmetic damage to the wall above the door because it now scrapes that wall when you try to close it. The company initially agreed to fix all this damage, but they are now trying to deny responsibility for. They first agreed to complete the restoration work and fix the damage, then they said they would not finish the restoration but would fix the damage, and now they are refusing to do any of it at all. I asked for their insurance information so I could file a claim and they have refused to give it to me.

We had a below slab water leak, we called in a plumber who in turn called Adams Restoration. Plumber *** hammered out the slab of foundation where the leak was. Fixed it and charged us $2,800. Which we paid cash. Adams was called by the plumber came in made all kinds of moisture reading and determined we had damage to our floors and baseboards. We turned it into our ins. mp. Ins had independent *** estimate the damage determined we had $ *** (approx) so after $2,500. deductible issued a check for $16,000. We paid Adams $9,000.00 out of our savings to begin the work since the bank had to hold the ins check for 10 business days Adams came in demolished the tile on the entire downstairs floor and put our furniture in storage. We have given them another $7,717.00 so they have or *** to begin work on the restoration. They now say they can't buy the materials and hire professional instillation. They want more money. My insurance *** requires exactly what they need and they have not supplied this information. We have signed ntract for the necessary work and materials to use to replace the flooring. They say they can't make a profit off this estimate and won't begin work till we give them more money

Adams disasters and restoration has an advertisement on Thumbtack for free estimate and 100 % customer satisfaction, therefore, we called him come over for an estimate to fix a leak of our offices roof in Dec 4th, 2019. A technician came over , and the first thing he made me sign ONE paper because he said that signing is to give him a permission to contact my insurance company and I dont have to pay any thing. The insurance will take care. He used tapes to *** 3 spots in 3 rooms where leaking water caused some stain and minor damages, and he put 3 machines in these rooms to suction moisture. There was no wetness or moisture at that time, and he didnt mention any cost for this work. Actually, we had to turn all 3 machines off right after he left because they made too much noise and no water or moisture in these rooms. In a next day, he put a plastic cover on top of the roof to prevent rains but he didnt put enough weights or anchor to hole it in place. It was blown away to ground next day, then we had to call his office to come over to remove it ASAP because it affects our business but no one has come until now. That is all what he has done. Unfortunately, our insurance company doesnt agree for him to fix the roof so his office emailed me a *** of $4137.53 that claims so many things which he didnt do. That is all dishonest and fraudulent. I responded an email and explained the situation. Several months have passed, the recently, I received a collection *** Of $1587.73 from *** Ironically, they charged me over $4k for an estimate that I dont pay, then collection company tried to charge me $1587.This roofing company is very dishonest, lied, harmful , and fraudulent to the public. Their rating is very low compared to other roofing companies and many customers complained. We sent a message in Thumtack to request a free estimate and didnt expect this company came.

On March 30,2020 I had the opportunity to meet with the Owner of Adams D&R, ***, at my home
On March 30,2020 I had the opportunity to meet with the Owner of Adams D&R, ***, at my home. There had been some back up and water damages evaluated by ***, who recommended Adams D&R as a solid company to help resolve my damage issues. Both *** and *** spoke with me and agreed that they would work out my insurance deductible ($900) and drain pipe replacement cost (items not covered by my Allstate *** so that there will be no out of pocket costs to me. So, *** and I spoke with my insurance adjuster and got the three phase project (Plumbing; Water Damage/Dry Out; Put-Back)underway.The two companies worked together initially to get Phase I (Plumbing)and Phase II (Water Damage/Dry Out) completed. The pipe replacement was covered as agreed and Elite Rooter was paid in full. Adams D&R, ***, evaluated Phase III (Put-Back) and informed me that they were 5-6 months out to do the job and encouraged me to get Allstate to bring in one of their Preferred Vendors. I did as Adams D&R suggested, complained to the owner and they submitted a Supplement of work needed, to Allstate, after the Preferred Vendor had submitted their Supplement. Allstate moved forward with the Preferred Vendor to keep the project going forward to completion. The work delay and walk-away initiated by Adams D&R, ***, caused the verbal contract for them to cover the Allstate deductible to become challenged. The Preferred Vendor only got Phase III, where as Adams D&R was poised to get both Phases II & III, thus allowing them to easily honor our verbal contract of deductible full coverage. Due to their failure to honor our contract, I was forced to pay the $900.00 deductible to the new Preferred Vendor. I could have easily negotiated a deductible coverage agreement with a vendor who secured both Phase II and Phase III. Adams D&R was not honest and forthcoming with me from the start of the three phase project.
