What can I say about Anthony except he is the best
What can I say about Anthony except he is the best. Our air conditioner stopped working after being installed just 1 year ago. We called Advanced Air and was told Anthony was the technician assigned to come to our home - this was in the evening - Anthony arrived around 8-8:30PM. Anthony has been to our home before and we were aware of his professionalism and knowledge of the equipment and just the fact that he is such a nice person to deal with. He thoroughly examined the equipment and diagnosed the problem. Anthony does a great job representing your company. We will always request Anthony.

Great company. Advanced installed my new system 3 years ago and I am just as happy now as I was then. Jeff H. was the salesmen and I cant say enough about how helpful, kind, courteous, and genuinely interested in my needs only he was. As if that's isn't enough to make a happy customer, the technician Josue Sierra is amazing. I request him personally for every visit. He is extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and understanding. He is always right on time and has kept my system running flawlessly for over 3 years now. I definitely recommend Advanced to my friends and family and recommend requesting both Jeff and Josue to everyone.
Patrick was most professional taking time to perform the PM on our system as well as explaining his findings. No hard sell on anything, all in all a very pleasant experience.

I had my yearly maintenance & afterwards -@ 2 weeks later I had problems with my air conditioner that required 2 trips back. Now some 4-5 mos later, I have water leaking all over my garage that I was told would take over $700 to fix. It does not instill confidence in their work.

Nicolas installed a new compressor in November and it blew in June . He installed the new one recently and discovered why it blew and fixed the problem without any cost to us as it was all still under warranty. Nicholas did a very good job. However I am NOT happy that Advanced Air is not giving us a new warranty starting on this second compressor .This brand new compressor is only getting warrantied to November .. when the one that blew was installed...basically for 5 months and when it should be a year. A new part should always have a year on parts and labour... especially on thousands of dollars parts that were clearly faulty.

First the estimator reviewed benefits of a new system my wife and I. Then a project planner reviewed our current ducts -- the information was given to an engineer to design. The team from Advanced Air got here early in the morning working hard into the early evening hours removing all of the original duct work and replacing with new ducts including adding 3 new air return vents in the bed rooms and exhaust fans in the two bathrooms. The new duct system eliminated the musty smell when the A/C runs and now every room has about the same amount of air flow -- prior to the new ducts, some rooms had little to no air flow. Advanced Air did a great job.

Jeff was excellent. Living in Boston and having your AC break down is stressful. He went over to our condo and within a few hours gave us three different proposals. All very reasonably. We picked one and within a few days they were at our condo doing the work. He was very knowledgeable and communication was excellent. He gave me peace of mind. From start to finish he stayed in touch with me. The company was excellent at sending messages on who would be at my condo with names and photos. Very professional. Also took measures to be safe with COVID. They have won me as a customer for many years to come. Thank you Jeff and Advanced Air. A job well done. I highly recommend.

Patrick has been my tech on the last two service visits. He is always on time, super friendly and very professional and knowledgeable. My recent visit was for routine maintenance. It was nice that he remember the issues we had that resulted in the first visit (issues that were found and resolved in no time!). Being in the middle of COVID it was nice to see that Patrick was taking the necessary precautions to keep himself safe as well as me. Advanced Air is a great company and I happy I found them. As a new homeowner they are a great piece of mind. I hope that Patrick can be our regular service tech but I'm confident that whoever shows up will provide the best possible service and make their company proud!

We Javier clearly knows how to service the A/C in our house. The unit wasn't cooling adequately. Javier checked the thermostat and the inside unit and discovered ice on the air handler. He then checked the outside parts and determined that coolant was leaking. He was able to tighten the valve and give us additional coolant. This all occurred during the situation at our house which is under contract for sale. We were in the midst of packing and our furniture was being viewed for purchase by a dealer. Additionally we have two miniature schnauzers who are totally freaked out about our recent travels and the packing. Javier was cool calm and collected during this service call. He's doing a wonderful job for your company.

I have been in Bonita Springs for 20 years and have used different HVAC companies which some weren't so good and others okay. That all changed when I called Advanced Air. Their in office staff couldn't be more efficient and easy to work with and the technician are top notch. Anthony was at my home yesterday to look at my AC to diagnose what was causing the fan to be so loud when AC was on that I couldn't talk on the phone or listen to TV. Within 15 minutes he found the cause and adjusted the fan from 5 to a setting of 2. It was such a relief and has made a incredible difference in the "quiet enjoyment" of my home. I also refer all my real estate clients and friends to Advanced Air. Thank you Advanced Air and Anthony-you are amazing!

I have been a customer of Advanced Air for over 5 years, since I purchased the house. After having a tech complete the normal maintenance, the A/C stopped functioning correctly. Specifically, the A/C would freeze but the fan would keep blowing. Their tech told me I needed a new capacitor even through the A/C fan was still working. After getting several opinions, he was wrong and tried to get me to spend $11K on a replacement A/C, which was the highest quote received from any A/C company. Their techs will tell you anything to get you to take an appointment for a replacement A/C. I'm assuming the techs have this as either a performance metric or bonus. Horrible company. I would never do business with them again after 5 years of loyalty.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Heir professionalism, their reports you receive on each service, their time and dedication to each call, and even their responsiveness to each inquiry. These people are stellar when it comes to servicing your needs for cooling and heating. John C is just another example of all of those excellent qualities. I've met with several of their techs over the years and they are amazing! I've switched severa HVAC companies because they lacked in several of the Qualities mentioned above, however I will NEVER choose another company again. This company is it! If your reading this review to shop for an HVAC company, stop. Just pick up the phone and call them now. You will undoubtedly be thrilled you did!

Yuset C. performed our 6-month maintenance service this morning. He arrived on schedule and immediately began to preform the maintenance of our AC air handler which was followed by maintenance of our roof-top AC Compressor. He is very courteous and appears to be very efficient in conducting the maintenance service. Yuset C. has previously serviced our AC units and I have been extremely satisfied with the maintenance service that he provided. He emailed me a maintenance check-list summary at the conclusion of his service and a scheduling date for my next 6- month maintenance service.
I have been extremely satisfied with his AC maintenance to date, and have requested him for our future AC maintenance. In summary, Yuseet C. appears to be an excellent service technician.

We had a new A/C system installed by Advanced Air. On installation day, Serafin C., Carlos P., and Jared C. showed up on time, were very polite and personable. The crew arrived and got right down to business keeping us informed of the scope of their work and progress through the entire installation process. Their work was very professional and performed expeditiously. We were back up and running with a new system before the house had a chance to get hot. They left the work area cleaner than they received it. Advanced Air self performs a quality control inspection after the work is complete to insure it meets their standards. How refreshing! From the quote received from Jeffrey H., to the installation performed by Serafin C., Carlos P., and Jared C., to the quality control inspection by Nicolas C., I would rate our experience as very positive and would not hesitate to recommend Advanced Air.

On March 17, we had a clog in our HVAC drainage and we contacted this provider. Initially they were very responsive. During the service call, they suggested we simply sign up for their yearly maintenance program for $450 a year. Being that this is a vacation property and we are seldom there we thought that was a good idea. Today, on July 3, we had the same issue and so we called them to come service the line again. Mind you this property sits empty most of the time and the thermostat is set to 78 degrees all the time. They charged us $338 to do the same 10 minute job that only lasted 3 months. So, first, obviously the last job was done poorly or it would not have take just 3 months to come and redo the same job, but on top of that, even having a maintenance contract, we still had to pay $338. So, almost $800 later, they came and did 20 minutes worth of work and I don't know if we will still have to do it again in 3 months. Obviously they don't stand by their work and we will be cancelling our contract with them.

We recently purchased an older home in Cape Coral and when the A/C ran, the air had a musty smell similar to a locker room. I found that the fiberboard intake boxes were stained and smelled. While we could of had them cleaned, we wanted to get estimates a on replacing the duct work. We called a few recommended A/C companies and chose Advanced Air to --replace the old ducts, install fresh air returns in the 3 bed rooms, enlarge the main fresh air return and install exhaust fans in the 2 bathrooms. Rob Smith came out first to cover all details followed by Tony who reviewed what would be needed -- the information was given to their engineer to design the duct work for the most uniform flow. The crew arrived the morning of Nov 11 when we were getting a lot of wind and rain from hurricane ETA. The crew did a great job pushing very hard to remove the old and install the new ducts the same day so we could run the A/C at night. As soon as we started the A/C we noticed that we had a significant increase in the flow of air to the furthest rooms and no more musty smelling cool air. We were very pleased with Advanced Air and give them our top rating.

BUT I also received a next day call asking if I was available. I was. "Is this an emergency?" No. Just uncomfortable as the unit has stopped. Forrest Walker arrived a bit before I expected, very polite, knowledgeable and professional. ( Something I did not expect after 40 years of commercial real estate experience). Forrest explained the issue, the anticipated charges, length of time to repair and payment issues. IMPORTANT At no time was I pressed to upgrade, purchase or be sold into a better unit. I received honest professional service at a reasonable cost and in a timely fashion. The prior four companies answered the phone with "is this an emergency?" Allowing an up charge for emergency services. I was also dismayed that of the five companies I contacted four had answering services at 4:00-4:15PM when their websites advertised hours 8-5PM. Just a ploy to upcharge when through the answering service. Advanced Air, contacted via text and internet demonstrating their understanding of today's tech and service. They get it. I researched all the local HVAC installation and maintenance service companies, read countless customer testimonials and spoke to my neighbors on their experience with their HVAC company. Upon completing this extensive research, my wife and I made a decision that Advanced Air would be our new HVAC installer and maintenance provider. The installation of the new equipment went flawlessly and the system's performance has far exceeded our expectations. The continued operational success of our HVAC system is contributed to Advanced Air's highly trained service employees.
There is one Service Technician, Javier who truly excels in providing superior customer service. He has been one of our primary service technicians who performs both our Fall and Spring HVAC maintenance checks.
Javier recently completed our Fall maintenance check. In addition to conducting a full system check, he did so while fully complying with all the required COVID 19 safety precautions.
Javier has repeatedly demonstrated his vast knowledge and experience while maintaining our HVAC system and readily addresses any concerns or issues we have with the performance of our system.
He also offers helpful suggestions which recently lead to our decision to have a surge protector installed on our system to prevent damage in the event of a lightning strike or other type of power surge event. Javier's concern for the customer is genuine and he never pressures the purchase and installation of unnecessary items or services.
He does an exemplary on documenting all of his findings on Advanced Air's Maintenance Checklist which includes not only photographs of system's performance reading but clear and concise language that customers can easily understand.
Javier and the superb maintenance service he provides is certainly one of the reasons why we renew our annual maintenance agreement with Advanced Air.
I would highly recommend Advanced Air for anyone who is in need of HVAC maintenance support or the installation of a new HVAC system.

I ain't messing with this company no more
I ain't messing with this company no more. They keep trying to charge me for stuff they didn't even do. I don't want to deal with them again. I had them come out to check my AC and heating, and they said I had to sign up for a year or pay extra for a basic "evac and recharge." Next thing I know, they charged me for a renewal without even telling me.

I signed up for their yearly program for $198.00, which includes 2 maintenance service calls. They keep your credit card on file and charge a reduced service fee of $69.00 for members. The driver came but didn't go into the attic. Instead, he took pictures of my bedroom ceiling and gave me a quote of over $300.00 without even entering the attic. I asked him to leave since he was only there to charge for the service fee. I called the office to cancel the program since they did nothing. When I disputed and canceled the program, they credited me the membership charge of $69.00 and the total charge of $198.00 for joining the program. But since I canceled the service, they credited my credit card for the annual fee and the $69.00 fee and re-billed me as a non-member for $119.00 (all within 5 hours). I disputed the unauthorized charges with my credit card company.

AC coil replacement quote was $2,000 from Advanced Air. It's usually priced at $700. The tech said "you breathe Freon" inside your house. My AC unit (built 2016) was "on" all the time. I called Advanced Air since I have an AC maintenance plan with them. The tech diagnosed a coil leak and said it's dangerous because I breathe Freon inside my house. The coil needs to be replaced, but the Carrier unit had no warranty. The people who installed it failed to register the unit. So, no warranty and the price for the coil replacement is $2,000. I told him that the rationale and diagnostics are strange and that I will get a second opinion. I then called Florida Heat and Air who diagnosed the same problem, found out that the unit still is under warranty and that the replacement total will be ***. The sales practices from Advanced Air are unethical and potentially criminal since they are trying to intimidate a senior citizen into buying an overpriced service.

I get 2 maintenance visits per year, discounts on equipment, heating & cooling repairs, and other discounts. I had a maintenance visit on January 5th. The serviceman called me at 9:00am and told me he was on his way and would arrive in about 20 minutes. I asked him how long the maintenance visit would last and he said 5 HOURS! I told him I couldn't have him here for 5 hours as I had to leave at 11:30am. I have 3 air conditioning units and said that he could work on one and come back another time to work on the other two so it wouldn't take 5 HOURS. He said to call the office to check on that. I did call the office and talked with the Manager and told her that I couldn't do a 5 HOUR maintenance visit and that I wanted to break it up for 2 or 3 visits to do the maintenance in less than the 5 HOURS. She said she couldn't schedule the work that way. So I said to cancel my maintenance visits and refund me the $198.00 I have paid over the last year. She said she could only refund the December payment. I think it is outrageous that she wouldn't schedule my maintenance visit over 2 or 3 days to reduce the 5 HOUR visit. And that she won't refund the $198.00 that I paid her over the last year! That is why I am filing this complaint. I have paid $198.00 to Advanced Air & Refrigeration and RECEIVED NOTHING for it!
