We purchased a set of bookcases from AFA Stores. The website detailed that the product was wood and hardwood veneers. It even speaks to the hand finish done to enhance the wood grain and the color "Toffee." When the product arrived the color was a very light brown, no where near what was shown on their site. In addition all of the trim, shelves and shown areas were a composite and NOT WOOD.
AFA Stores refuses to do anything about it and I wish I had done more research about this horrible company. The number of BBB Complaints alone is astounding. No one should order from this scam of a company!
Recommendation: NEVER Buy From This Company! You Will Regret It...
You didn’t just get shortchanged by AFA Stores — you got a completely different product than what was advertised. It's clear they’ve misrepresented their products, and their refusal to make things right only adds to the frustration.
