Visited above mentioned doctor at 1050 pm on 23 dec. For viral fever. After diagnosing he prescribed medicines and advised that injection would be better option. When I agreed he said I need to wait 10-15 minutes as he wants to see next patient. Similarly for sick leave certificate also he said I will have to wait or he will leave it with reception and I can collect it next day morning. I left as I could not wait due to fever.
When I called next day morning I was told dr gas not left any certificate and was asked to call after 3 pm when he resumes his duty. I called in the evening and dr said he would prepare now and give to reception. Abd when I asked why my fever has not subsided for more than 24 hrs now he said he has a patient and asked me to see him. At around 9 pm today 24 dec I came to the hospital and sick leave certificate was still not prepared and I am veing asked to wait in normal queue for getting injection whereas he could just enter it on tbe system and nurse can give me injection.
My complaint is things that could have been completed on first visit was not done as dr wanted to see another patient. How come he left task half done and caused inconvinience and distress to me whereas my fever has nit subsided for more than 24 hrs now.
Your reply is highly appreciated and I have no choice but to raise this issue with haad and media as its an unprofessional treatment given to me.

I went to see Doctor Fatima Hussain in the Gynaecology Department. My previous Doctor Preety is no longer with the hospital, so I decided to try Dr. Fatima as I had visited her once when my doctor was out of town so I assumed she still had my records. Firstly I have been visiting Ahalia for maybe two years now and they did not have my records. Anyway I explained to Dr Fatima my problem, she took some tests and asked for a separate test for my urine sample. The vaginal swab that she did on me was very painful when she did it. She has no compassion as I would expect female doctor to have. She does not make you feel comfortable at all. She just inserted the instrument in me with no warning and asking me to relax. I expressed my pain by saying ouch and squealing but she kept talking to the nurse and paid no attention to me. When I would do any swab test with Dr. Preety i never felt any pain and she was thorough with the check. She would make me feel as relaxed as possible which I would expect any doctor especially a female Gynaecologist. She should no better. After she took a swab test, she did not even give me any prescription. I had to ask for it and she had gone away from the office and I had to wait for her to ask for a prescription. She did not explain anything to me. I came back two days later as I reacted to the anti biotic she prescribed me. She offered new medication I said ok. I requested for two days sick leave as I was unable to go to work because of the reaction. The doctor was unsympathetic and she told me for my diagnosis I don't need two days sick leave but she prescribed me medication and I never requested for a sick leave then. I am a very professional being and I never take unnecessary sick leave unless I really need it. I only came back to the hospital after I was unable to go to work because of the reaction I had to the medication. I needed an extra day to rest as I had not slept at all and still felt sick. I had to shout at the nurses because no one took me seriously. At first they told me that I had another sick leave with Dr. Fatima from over a year ago when I lasted visited her when I had abdominal pain due to some abnormal menstruation. I asked the nurses if it made sense that they cannot give me a sick leave simply because I took one last year so I only have two sick leaves in an entire lifetime with Ahalia? The nurse then said I should speak to the doctor and I had to wait again. I spent over four hours just for this sick leave when I should have been resting. I finally got to see the doctor again and Dr Fatima asked me to never to come back for another sick leave and that I don't look sick at all. She told me to come back again the next day for the second sick leave. They could not give me 2days on one paper I had to keep coming back and fourth when I was not feeling well when I should have been resting. She did not even show me my results for the tests they conducted the first time I visited her(two days ago). She did not explain what was wrong with me and even after getting side effects from the medication she gave me, she did not show any sympathy at all. I told her I was itching in my vaginal area which was being worsened by the anti biotic she gave me, I am already prone to getting yeast infections which is why always visit the Gynae in the first place because I suffer from the same condition and she did not prescribe anything for me. Now I paid money with no information about what is wrong with me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor my entire lifetime. Iv never felt soo belittled and uncared for as a patient. She did not care for me at all or anything that happened to me even if it was her own doing that I ended up in that situation. When Doctor Pretty was there I never experienced any of this despicable service, the worst ever! I have trusted Ahalia for more than a year if not two years and I have never faced this with any doctor. Now I will never go back to Ahalia and would never recommend anyone to visit her she is a horrible doctor with a horrible personality. I don't know if she treated me this way because I'm not her regular patient or because I'm black. But I would expect so much better from a professional doctor and a female Gynaecologist. I just a patient just as everyone else she has as her regular patients. I was not rude with her because of the respect I have for people, and my Elders. But this service from a Doctor is completely unacceptable! She is very rude and shows no emotion at all! Even the receptionist felt my pain and felt sorry for me and recommended me to a different doctor she considers as nice. No one should ever have to go through what she made me go through and right now I'm still sick still taking the same anti biotic hoping to get better without even knowing exactly what is wrong with me. My insurance company is paying for tests and I'm paying for medication and consultation and I don't even know the results because she did not bother to inform me. All she cared about was the sick leave and how much paperwork she has to write if she gave me two days sick leave instead of one day. If anything is to happen to me, I will hold her accountable for patient negligence! I hope that you will take my complaint seriously as no doctor should behave this way. ill treatment of doctor
It is the first time in my entire life that i have come across a Doctor (Dr. Premanandan Madathil) who is completely against medical ethics. This person is so arrogant that during the consultation he refused to divulge any information to me. In fact, until I went to the pharmacy I didn't know anything about my medical condition. He seems to be like a radio station, we can only listen to his stupid ideas and advises but cannot utter a single word on our health condition to him. Being an Engineer (IIT'ian) I strongly believe that this person should be given some medical treatment or therapy sessions on how to deal with patients.
To my utmost despair, when i asked for a medical leave, he responded as if I asked his life in return.
The moment I came out of his room a very kind Nurse was all ready with a Pen & a Complaint slip. (It was a very usual scene for them) I am surprised how this person has not come into the eyes of Ahalia Management and why there has been no action taken on him.
Finally, escaping all this charade, I went to another hospital & I am given complete Bed Rest for 2 Days with the approval of Heath Of Authority Abu Dhabi.
I really don't understand if Kerala is in surplus of Doctors that such Doc's are been recruited to UAE. This episode is a shame on Ahalia Management & I wouldn't recommend Dr. Premanandan Madathil even to my worst enemy.

He is still living in 1960s not in 2014 with his out rated ideas. He is so rude and never try to understand the actual feeling of the patients. I think he should live and work a 50 years ago with some old public health centers where only poor and uneducated people lives. really cant understand how M/s.Ahalia Hospital management is managing with that person. Its high time for the hospital management to make him aware that this is 2014 and not 1960s!

Ahalia hospital abu dhabi is the worst place to work in uae.
They offered 20000 dirhams per month salary to a doctor, when he came here he was forced to sign a labour contract in which salary was mentioned as 8000 dirhams.
They keep all employees' original certificates and passport and once they resigned or got terminated they will not give last months salary and end term benefits. As they hold original certificates poor employees sign all the papers to get them back.
If any employee wants to fight they will issue false complaints against them

criminal cheaters
Ahalia group is criminal cheaters. One of my friend was terminated giving a termination letter. After few hours that letter was taken back from her. Later she was not given any dues which included 2 months salary and gratuity. Instead they made it as if she left job without notice. Now they are asking 5000 dirhams from the poor employee to lift her ban from working elsewhere in uae.
They habitually give false complaints to the police and ministry of labour saying the employee has absconded. Labour ministry is currently investigating the situation and ahalia has already been blacklisted.
Right, in kerala dr gopal had all good doctors in the eye hospital like dr. kala, dr jayaram, dr saji, dr shaju ashokan, dr. anoop etc... all very talented eye surgeons... dr gopal started the same cheating strategy with the doctors there, not paying anything offered. all the above doctors resigned from ahalia eye hospital and joined vasan eye care who are professionals and million times better than dr gopal...
Now ahalia eye hospital has worst doctors and day by day poor people of kerala are losing their eyesight after going to ahalia... they are cheating poor keralites saying that the doctors they are asking for are on vacation and forcing them to get surgery done by the current incompetent surgeons there...

They are not giving salary on time and giving incentives after 6--7 months with ill defined %..
Multiple shifts duties with special preference to some employees while remaining are doing donkey work... they made 2 contracts.. One hospital mentioned 8.30hours while original labour contract includes 8 hours/day... not giving specific letters when you require for future growth.. They trap employees on less pay and then black mail for termination and ban...and many more.. They are cheaters..

It stated there that I will recieve the amount of aed, 4, 500 per month if duty is in homecare but there's a special note that aed 2000 which known as a special allowance will only be given if once duty is in homecare but if not only aed 2, 500.What do you think about this because I'm thinking aed 2, 500 isn't enough.Need advice if wise to go for it or not.Thanks.

Hello everybody, I agree with the complaint. Now a few months back Ahalia, got JCIA acediation with the effort of poor employees. After that the income increased, but poor employees were denied their usual annual increments. The purchases via store become the worst. Now purchasing the cheapest duplicate materials available in the market. Doctors are now worried to use those useless things on their patients in OP and also in the Operation Theatre. JCIA acrediation in the case of Ahalia came as a reduction in the previous standard, cheating JCIA also.I got this information from a doctor working in Ahalia for last 10 yrs.

Ahalia hospital is constantly harassing the poor employees. They pay 400 — 1200 dirhams to graduate employees working in the op counters and if there is any loss or non payment by a patient, that amount will be deducted from their salary, poor employees ending up with no or little salary for the mistake of customers.
Recently there was one patient came to casualty and initial life saving treatment ordered by the doctor was given by a nurse and later on they found the patient didnt have insurance and he was unable to pay. The nurse had to pay the full amount from her salary. Ahalia hospital abudhabi has no ethics. They extract money from the poorest employees... Cheatingly yours is their moto.

Ahalia hospital asking to deposit money around aed 4000 to 5000 to get a job. After joining there is lot of politics inside, after two or three month they will start harassment and threatening staff, forcing to do other task and telling that you will lose your job etc...
So before joining please rethink, they need make money like anything...

I am extremely sorry to know what happened to dr dilip, since I had been one of his patients and I knew him as a very straight forward person. it is a very pathetic story when this happens to a dignified professional like a doctor. my nephew who was earlier working as a male nurse (I dont wish to name him) had also taled very bad experience with the management.
The name vaidyan sounds very fishy.

Mr. vaidyan is very true. before joining ahalia an employee must think not 1 or 2 times, but 100 times. the person behind this is dr. gopalan, the owner of ahalia hospital, a greedy man, who's first aim is to split employees. actually he is doing mail management for splitting. I am planning to start a blog against ahalia group. and also in kerala they started eye hospital. lot of ordinary people lost their vision after the surgery in ahalia. so beware.. I think all people will support me for fighting against ahalia...

Mr vaidhyan is dr gopal himself I doubt as nobody other than the management working there is happy with the conditions. if you do an opinion poll 99.9 % employees will be completely dissatisfied. because of the labour ban and other legal factors employees are waiting for their next visa period is due for renewal. some poor employees stay on because of lack of other options and financial committments.
Until 2 years ago it was not too bad to work here even though salary and incentives were delayed upto 7 — 8 months, but now the situation is worst and they just wanted to cheat and harass each and everyone and cut salary without any reason.

As mr vaidhyan said he doesnt know dr gopal, he cant be blamed. those who know dr gopal wouldnt have any doubt that he is such a cheater. if any employee working in ahalia come up with support to dr gopal (except admin staff) I will apologise.

He had such a long tenure with them and they (ahalia) seeem to be like a bunch of animals with no human values.

I am a regular patient of dr. dilip. he is a professional and wonderful personality. happy to learn that he had left ahalia. all the best to you doctor. ahalia is managed by a handful of criminals lead by neena and dr vibu etc. this neena's husband (rajan ram) had looted millions from ahalia few months back with her support. now she is the one harassing poor keralite employess. dr. vibu hails from a poor kerala village, after passing his mbbs got married to a distant relative of gopalan doctor. then landed in uae and once this lungi clad baffoon is now always found wearing designer suits.

If you are lucky that you have not joined ahalia yet, never ever join here.
If you have joined ahalia already you are very unlucky you will have to go through many legal and ministerial ways to get your dues, salary, certificates and passport when you end your job with them. my advice is keep all your pay slips, memos, bank statements, leave sanction letters and all communications with ahalia secure.
They will try to harm you in every possible way. if you are terminated or if have resigned you need to do certain things which we will advise you in this blog after few weeks.

The hospital violates every labour law in uae. when his rh sheikh zyed, founding father of uae died, all hospitals in abu dhabi shut down for one day as a mark of respect. this was the only hospital which ran their op. gopal has not cared for his family and such a person cannot be expected to take care of his employees. he cheats every body, and is a master of exploitation. if you get a job offer from ahalia be careful. it is a trap. dr gopal is the brain and others are remote controlled. dont blame dr vibu. gopals father was a vaidyan.
The eye hospital in kerala, is an eye wash to trick people for free cataract surgery (he collects in dollar from us based charities). one person died at ahalia palakkad eye hospital, after surgery following a heart problem. the reason no physician to screen for medical problems and nobody to manage the situation.

The uae authorities are really blind and such fools to allow this man gopal, a noted abortionist (made money from abortions, which is illegal there) to run this hospital, who has insulted even the father of their nation. he has a wife in india who he has not divorced but lives in uae with a srilankan female (adultery). again abu dhabi authorities are blind. gives none of the public holidays declared by the uae authorities to his employees. it is high time this man who is a disgrace to the labour laws and insults the country be deported with a permenent ban. both his children committed suicide and case must be reopened to investigate his role for instigating them to commit suicide. most of his former good doctors has left and with him the more service you put up, it reflects your incompetence!. only sycophants, can survive there and some people from his community.

One recent story is that one employee died during his employment in ahalia hospital. later when his family came to collect his belongings dr gopal didnt give last month's salary saying that there was no notice period (before his death!) and hence hospital will take 1 month salary as compensation.
Is he a human being?... he should be slashed 1000 times before the authorities deport him home.

Health authority cancelled dr gopal's licence way back in eighties as he was caught by police doing illegal abortions and adultery.
He has done so many illegal activities in his hospital.
If you are a patient admitted in ahalia hospital, please check whether you are getting the injections you have purchased. dr gopal has brought many cheap antibiotic injections from india to use in the in patient wards. if you purchase an injection worth 100 dirhams, they will take it and send it back to their pharmacy and give you another cheap injection brought from india which poor patients admitted there never understand. you tell them to take injection you purchased in front of you and give it straightaway. dont allow the nurses to go to treatment room to change it.

The comment posted by kkshaji is absolutely correct. if any one wants to know about the owner of ahalia group (dr. gopal), please read kk shaji's comment. you will get a good picture about him. dr. gopal, his actual name is v.s. gopalan. he is only an ordinary mbbs dr. he made money from abortion. the story narrated by mr. shaji is absolutely true. dr. gopalan is not doctor now. he was caught around 18 years back my uae authorities. he is a wolf who put sheep's jacket.

If you are joining ahalia hospital for any job, be prepared to be cheated. They will ask you to sign a labour contract which will show one third of the salary they offered to you and from then they will start cheating you. When you dont get salary or incentives if you want to leave, they will give false case against you leading on to police arrest and life ban.
They recently terminated a poor nurse and immediately after giving termination they took that letter back and now they are not giving any money which was due and are going to pose ban on her. As they cheated her taking back the termination letter she cannot complaint to labour court. They are not prepared to give even 2000 dirhams to her as her last salary which she didnt receive. They are shameless cheaters. Be careful.

Right, in kerala dr gopal had all good doctors in the eye hospital like dr. kala, dr jayaram, dr saji, dr shaju ashokan, dr. anoop etc... all very talented eye surgeons... dr gopal started the same cheating strategy with the doctors there, not paying anything offered. all the above doctors resigned from ahalia eye hospital and joined vasan eye care who are professionals and million times better than dr gopal...
Now ahalia eye hospital has worst doctors and day by day poor people of kerala are losing their eyesight after going to ahalia... they are cheating poor keralites saying that the doctors they are asking for are on vacation and forcing them to get surgery done by the current incompetent surgeons there...

Think 10 times before you get employed with Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi. They can endanger your career and life if you question about delay in getting the salary or perks they offered to you.
They have given false information to police/ labour court saying that one doctor has absconded while he is still working here which can result in police arrest and deportation.
Atleast ask 2--3 employees working here before joining here for your safety
Absolutely right, delay in salary upto 1month, delay in incetives/perks 7 — 8 months, you will only get usually 20 — 30 % of what you are offered
If you resign you will not get any salary outstanding and they will file false case against you...

Hi. this is regarding the complaint towards the doctor in ahaliya hospital. doctor name is beena abdulla who is a gynaecologist. she doesnt even have the minimum courtesy towards the patient. my wife attended the doctor regarding the gynic problem. doctor is so busy only in her appointments to complete it fast regardless the pain the patient is facing. she just asked her orally the problem and did not even bother to check her what the problem is about. worte the medicine with out out even knowing what she is writing for what and even explaining to the patient for what is the medicine is for. she is only inetersted in making the money from the insurance companies. very disgusting, if these kind of doctors serving the people then on what basis the patient is secure in their hands. I decided finally to send my wife back to home country and take care of the things. government being so supportive in this country for expats should raid and see what these doctors do and behave with patients.

Mr.Vaidyan is very true. Before joining ahalia an employee must think not 1 or 2 times, but 100 times. The person behind this is Dr.Gopalan, the owner of Ahalia hospital, a greedy man, who's first aim is to split employees. Actually he is doing mail management for splitting. I am planning to start a blog against ahalia group. And also in kerala they started eye hospital. Lot of ordinary people lost their vision after the surgery in ahalia. So beware.. I think all people will support me for fighting against ahalia...
