I have purchased an Aireloom Mattress at Mattress City in Pasadena, CA in October2010. Ever since purchasing I have had problems with it, tried returning it at the dealer but they are just too busy to deceive customers and do not want to take responsiblity. They asked me to approach the manufacturer as it was a defective mattress. The manufacturers E.S.Kluft & Co sent their inspector to check on several occasions and they say its normal and do not want to exchange or return my money. I have paid $ 1, 695.00 for it and within a month since purchasing my Back is all messed up. Several trips to the Chiropractor does not help either and the doctor also thinks its my Mattress is no good.
After spending $1, 695 for the original mattress and several trips to the Chiropractor and having sleepless nights practically every night, I decided to file a complaint against the Company, there are better ways to make money and playing with someone's health is absolutely ridiculous.
I am attaching photos showing how the mattress is curved when slept on...this is from last year and the Mattress is in worse shape as of now
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Hello,
We have having the same problem. We had another mattress from Miralux which did the same thing. We were approved to trade our bed at Sit and Sleep and was railroaded into Aireloom. And I say railroaded because Aireloom has a 1 1/2" indentation claus. They call that NORMAL.
Its not normal. We have had it two years and it should not collapse after 2 years. The collapse started early on like your situation but we knew we had to wait until it was bad to have an independent inspector come out to measure. He also thought it was excessive for 2 years. Its at 1". But I am going to recheck myself and call them back out.
If there is anything we can do together to get Aireloom or the stores we purchased them at give us our money back, I am with you.
We understand that you are unhappy with the mattress set you purchased and are more than willing to work within the guidelines of the manufacturer's warranty to service your concerns. Upon your approval we can make arrangements to have your mattress re-inspected for any manufacture defects. If the mattress is found to be defective it will be replaced. However, please know that our warranty covers only structural failure in the product. (To see our warranty go to http://www.Aireloom.com, click on warranty)
If you would like us to proceed with a re-inspection please call our customer service department.
Mr. Shah,
We appreciate your time and thoughts and do take them seriously. As the manufacturer, we provide a warranty to protect your rights as a consumer and clearly state what is covered so there are no surprises.
Per your request we have had three inspections of your mattress, at our sole expense, in order to attempt to address your concerns. Our inspectors are 3rd party industry inspection companies that are paid the same inspection fee regardless of the outcome. The fact is the mattress is not defective, but instead clearly a comfort issue. If the bed were found to be defective under the manufacturers' warranty we would have taken steps to repair or replace it already immediately.
We can appreciate your disappointment in the firmness of the mattress, and fact that at the time of purchase you selected a firmness that turned out not to be what you needed. Comfort and firmness are subjective to each individual, and is not something that can be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. (To see our warranty go to http://www.Aireloom.com, click on warranty)
Again we sincerely regret the manufacturer's warranty does not extend to the problems you are experiencing . However, in order to have satisfied customers we would be more than willing to adjust the firmness for you. Please call our customer service department if you would like to proceed..
Awful mattress. The worst I ever slept on. I received mine less than two weeks ago and I already feel like I am sinking. Bloomingdales says I should just sleep on it for another 2 months and endure 2 more months of back pain before they will come out and inspect it. DON"T BUY!
We bought a queen size bed about 2 1/2 - 3 yrs ago, from a company that said all you need todo is turn it once a week for six months ... and we did ! during that time the bed was already breaking down and getting so bad that i havent slept in that bed for about a year and have been sleeping in a chair since... have been going back to the company for the past 5 months and NO responce from them and the company... we also had a ten yr warrenty on it.. and was told by the lady who sold it to us, that if there was any problems just to come back and we would get the ball rolling for a new one... and it still has not happened...! so people out there dont buy a bed from this company, "aireloom" sincerely... mrs. bad back
