premature sagging
I see many many complains about premature sagging of new Aireloom beds but once in a while i see a positive review. Why would someone who supposedly 'loves' their purchase think to go to a complaint site? I suspect these few entry's are from Aireloom trying to minimize their exposure.
To people posting their complaints CAN YOU PLEASE INDICATE WHICH AIRELOOM BED YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH! This will help everyone so much.
The staff at Aireloom, especially Peggy in "Customer Service' is horrible. She has worked at the firm WAY too long because no matter what time of day you call there, she is the biggest grouch i have even come across. She needs to retire or go work in the accounting dept where she is not exposed to consumers.

brand new sagging mattress
We just bought a brand new Aireloom Bamboo hybrid king mattress with all kinds of memory foam etc. It was around 2100.00. It started to get body impressions in the first 2 weeks. Now I have been sleeping on it for about 5 weeks. There is a big hill in between my husband and I. The impressions are now so deep when I try to sleep near the center of the bed, I am tilted at a 45 degree angle. Unbelievalble. What a major disapointment. This is not the first Aireloom bed I have ever owned, but it will be the last. The upside, is that the company I bought it from has a 100 day satisfaction guarantee, I will most definitely utilize that, to return this expensive piece of junk. The downside is, it will cost me 20% or $420 to exchange it. Lesson learned. I am writing this complaint to save anybody else out there, considering buying this bed the aggravation, and expense.

Worst bed ever! Aireloom Bamboo piece of crap! It has actually destroyed my life. As a writer, sleep is everything to me, and two months into purchasing this awful mattress from Sit and Sleep, it started to sag considerably. I couldn't get comfortable no matter what position I was in. And forget about having a partner share it with me, ugh! It sags so bad that it's impossible to sleep. I now sleep on the couch! DON'T BUY AN AIRELOOM MATTRESS! They will send a useless inspector out I I have so far had two) who will only measure indentations to 1 1/4, it's laughable actually. They are crooks! So is Sit and Sleep, to not stand by their product. I am so tired, so devastated, I now have horrible back issues and all I wanted was a trade, I was willing to take a far less expensive mattress in exchange but they wouldn't even do that. BUYER BEWARE!
I absolutely dislike Aireloom, after spending $3000+ on a King mattress, you would expect it to be more durable and better put together than the $200 twin mattress my daughter sleeps on. Also sad to learn that their warranty does NOT cover poor stitching that caused the rips along the bottom / side of mattress. After two years of use, we now have a Sealy, which we should have purchased then. I think Retailers are offered a bigger commission if they push Aireloom. I will never buy or recommend Aireloom (Kluft) to anyone!

We are aware of the issue you are having with your Calico mattress. We can appreciate your disappointment in the firmness of the mattress, and at the time of purchase you selected a firmness that turns out to be not what you needed. As the manufacturer, we provide a warranty that clearly states what is covered under our manufacturer's warranty.
The fact that upon inspection of your mattress it was found that you flipped the mattress over to the non-sleeping extra firm bottom clearly states your need for a firmer mattress than you selected.

My husband n I brought Aireloom Calico and adjustable base in late sept. from Sit' n Sleep. It delivered on oct.11th, but was not slept on until Oct.15th (traditional reason due to our first night of being married). I complained about my back pain that morning but my husband read the warranty n decided that we should try it fews more times. Oct.18th-21st we were on our honeymoon. I woke up without any back pain. After we returned my back pain persisted so he called the salerep. to inform him.
Nov.22nd inspection found 1 1/4 depth. He asked why we flip the bed we explain n he understood. Days later we receive a letter stated that impressions are within the tolerance of the manufacturing guideline, which is 1 1/2. From then on was hell for us.. Sit' n Sleep n Aireloom customer care were very rude n they blamed us for using the bed incorrectly. Therefore they voided our warranty. We had the bed for 2months n 3days, now my back n neck is killing me. I'm a hairstylist, now standing and washing my clients hair make it hard. Sit' n Sleep and Aireloom doesn't want to honor their warranty... I'll make sure I let all my Clients, friends, families, Yelp, FB and etc. know how they honor their warranty and how horrible customers service was.
btw, Aireloom 411, I will keep posting elsewhere and on facebook until something is done with my mattress.
We have having the same problem. We had another mattress from Miralux which did the same thing. We were approved to trade our bed at Sit and Sleep and was railroaded into Aireloom. And I say railroaded because Aireloom has a 1 1/2" indentation claus. They call that NORMAL.
Its not normal. We have had it two years and it should not collapse after 2 years. The collapse started early on like your situation but we knew we had to wait until it was bad to have an independent inspector come out to measure. He also thought it was excessive for 2 years. Its at 1". But I am going to recheck myself and call them back out.
If there is anything we can do together to get Aireloom or the stores we purchased them at give us our money back, I am with you.

Mr. Sykes, The correct email address is http://www.aireloom.comwarranty.html.
Mr. Sykes, Having read your bog, we clearly understand that you are unhappy with the mattress set you purchased from Haynes, and we are more than willing to work within the guidelines of our manufacturer's warranty to service your concerns.(See "Aireloom.com" select warranty tab for details). The warranty clearly states what is covered under the warranty and what is not. As with all new mattress sets you must expect some level of adjustment in comfort and firmness, which are a matter of preference. Comfort and firmness, is strictly subjective to each individual, and is not something that can be covered under the manufactures' warranty. Aireloom is proud of the fact that we use the finest of raw materials with uncompromising standards for quality, comfort and value. We know that Haynes associates normally encourage every customer to lay down as long as possible to identify which bed feels the best to them, in an effort to assist with the correct firmness selection. Once you have reviewed the warranty and if you feel your issue is outside of the guidelines for further information and assistance, you can contact us at QandA@Aireloom.com
I BOUGHT A RIP VAN WINKLE FROM HAYNES IN VA BEACH. IT WAS ADVERTISED AS A FIRM, WITH THE SIGN IN FRONT ON THE DISPLAY MODEL. WHEN IT ARRIVED, I CHECKED OUT THE TAG JUST TO BE SURE IT WAS TEH SAME MATTRESS. THE TAG SAID IT WAS A MEDIUM FIRM ALTHOUGH STILL A RIP VAN WINKLE. THE REGIONAL MANAGER ASSURED ME IT WAS THE SAME MATTRESS. I TRUSTED HIM, I TURSTED THAT AIRELOOM WAS A TOP NOTCH MATTRESS. AFTER 9 MONTHS, THE FIRM THAT WAS IN IT WAS SOFTENED UP, WITH A HILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE KING SIZE MATTRESS AND I WAS GOING TO HAVE PHYSICAL THERAPY. THIS MATTRESS IS CRAP. DON'T BUY ONE! HAYNES IS LACKING ALSO IN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARING ABOUT A CUSTOMER WHO HAS SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AT THEIR STORE.
Defective mattress and false advertising
Bought what was advertised as a FIRM mattress by Aireloom of Beverly Hills, a Rip Van Winkle in late Aug. 2009. Haynes furniture had a huge sign in front of the mattress, a queen size dislay model with box springs, saying it was FIRM. Laid on it for a couple of visits. Becuase o the history of having been used in the White House, I thought that it would be a great mattress and the warranty was longer than most any i had eard of as well as being a hand made mattress. Within year I was going for physical therapy for my back as it had become worse from sleeping on this FIRM mattress. Something has got to be done abou this mattress either by the store, Haynes, or Aireloom. $$2800 is a lot of money in this day and age. Stay away from Aireloom and Haynes. I hate to say it but read all the posts on here and the internet about these mattresses. BUYER BEWARE.

Makes our bodies ache
We purchased our bedroom furniture and in the process the salesman heard us talking about purchasing a temperpedic mattress. He tells us he has one that is better. I spent $3000.00 on the mattress and we got it all home. We decided on remodeling so we were unable to use the bed until about a month ago. It is brand new and I wish I had never heard of this company. We purchased from The Dump and I will never recommend an aireloom. Our bodies ache when we get out of bed. It is our fault to because if we had slept on it during the trial period or if I would have waited to purchase it we would have sent it back within the 30 days. We are now deciding to sleep back in our camper which is a horrible bed but does not make us hurt every morning.

I also hate my AIRELOOM super fetherbed...
I also wish I never saw some dumb ad about how superior they are...
I am now walking around with a really bad back...
How in the world can I get a replacement/refund/company rep to call me?
Aireloom appreciates any constructive comments regarding our brand. We are proud of our product and stand by it 100 percent. Mattresses come in many different levels of comfort and firmness. Comfort and firmness are subjective to each individual, and is not something that can be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. (to see our warranty go to http://www.aireloom.comwarranty.html. Click on he warranty tab. As with all new mattress sets you must expect some level of adjustment. After all those years on your old bed, you may need some time to get used to the "feel" of the new set. Based on what you have written it appears, you may have purchased a mattress firmer than you need, which is not covered under the warranty and not a factory defect. In an effort to help, we suggest the following...Try to place a soft pad over the mattress under you sheets..which may help the mattress cradle you more. Aireloom is proud of the fact that we use the finest of raw materials and precision craftsmanship. As the manufacturer, we provide a warranty to protect your rights as a consumer and it clearly states what is covered. If materials and workmanship are not up to standard we will honor the warranty without question. QandA@aireloom.com
We have the same problem with an Airloom mattress bought at The Dump. It did not last 3 years and has a very soft spot in the middle which Airloom claims to be "Normal body impressions (Normal upholstery layer settling)". Nice to know now. Here is the letter of denial for a warranty claim...
January 18, 2017

Collapsing mattress top
Purchased an Aireloom Model A1666-1070 mattress in January of 2008. We are the original owners and were told it came with a good warranty. Now less than 3 years later the mattress top is collapsing, with 3-4 inch valleys and has bocome quite uncomfortable. The company we purchased from has gone out of business and Aireloom refuses to do anything as we cannot produce the original receipt.
For heavens sake the bed has the manufacture date of October 2007. We are the original owner, but any bed only three years old should not be collapsing, even if we were not the original owner. I looked at their website about a year after our purchase and they were apologizing for bad production and materials, so I know they have problems with complaints.
I am a specialist physician treating back pain patients and know the value of a good mattress. When we bought it, it was very comfortable and I recommended it to many patients. I no longer do that and feel that this business should stand by the product since it is so relatively new. As they do not do this, I want the story known so that others will avoid this company.

Lump in the middle
I purchased an Aireloom Mattress 4 years ago. Within a year, a large lump developed in the center of the mattress. Over time, I have tried beating it down, but to no avail. I finally contacted Aireloom (it is under warranty.) They sent a mattress inspector out, who did agree there was a problem. Aireloom wants me to pay over $280 in shipping, and they will sew on a new pillowtop. I believe the shipping charges are exhorbitant. Additionally, while the mattress is away getting fixed (an admission of poor quality), I and my wife do not have a mattress to sleep on. If Aireloom was the quality company it claims to be, it would either ship a replacement mattress, or ship a loaner until the original comes back. DO NOT BUY AN AIRELOOM- THE WARRANTY FINE PRINT MAY BE LEGAL, BUT IT IS RIDICULOUS AND IF YOU BUY A KING YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE WARRANTY.
The location I purchased this mattress at is Sleep City in Santa Rosa. When I explained the situation, they asked if I had purchased a king size, I said yes, and they said that the lump or compression happens all of the time with kings. WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THAT WHEN I WAS PLUNKING DOWN $2600? Sleep City no longer carries Aireloom, and obviously they are not helping me out. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SLEEP CITY, if you do, you are on your own if you need warranty help. They could offer a loaner as well--no luck. Both have lost a future customer...

Warranty
We just bought a new mattress, and carted the 6 month old Aireloom to the back yard. The sagging was unbelievable after just 3 months and no warranty was found that applied after 30 days. Back aches were awful on this mattress.
Purchased this horrible bed from Sit and Sleep in February 2009 for $1, 800. We wish we had done some research into customer reviews (complaints) of these mattresses, but alas did not conduct any research and had never heard of Aireloom until that unfortunate day in February. Don't know if Sit and Sleep would have helped out with our complaints, seeing as we didn't give them a chance.
I weigh in at 170 lbs at 5'-11" tall, and when laying on my back sunk so low at the waistline that my stomach was almost level with the edge of the bed (which seems to have a different material than the rest of the bed). The first 4 inches or so from the mattress edge did provide an excellent ledge for side sleeping and an escape from the pit of pain and discomfort.
Our salesman told us this type of mattress is used in the White House. Hey it must be the best right? Suckers...
We're counting on our new Stearns and Foster, firm mattress, to be our savior from the last 6 months of torture. I'm going to cut the top off the Aireloom and use it as a bed for my dog.

I purchased this brand new mattress from Blvd Home and I’ve been in pain ever since. They only have a 30 day sleep warranty and we purchased it on 04/20/2022. There is a large bump in the middle and we need something more firm. The SKU #6042531 and it was delivered on 04/23/2022.
We bought our king size Aireloom mattress from RC Willey about 4 years ago. It was the most we have ever spent on a mattress. The first three years it was amazing. Then me and my husband’s backs starting hurting really bad. Even with flipping the mattress regularly there is already a depression/sagging on both sides with a hump in the middle. At first I was in denial it could be the mattress making my back hurt. Then I slept in our guest room to test the theory for a couple nights. Every night I woke up feeling great from the other cheaper mattress! I’m frustrated to see all the bad reviews online. Not only from similar poor quality of the mattress but even more about how Aireloom has no concern for their customers and don’t try to make the situation right. Hopefully posting a review of my experience will help someone else not make the same mistake I did. Don’t buy an Aireloom mattress unless you are ok with replacing it after only a couple of years!
I purchased a California king Aireloom set from a upscale furniture store. It was when the old owners had owned Aireloom. It was never very comfortable, but we just kept it as it was a huge investment. We finally put a mattress topper on it and it really helped. The mattress has indentations and the box spring the wood slats have cracked. It had a 25 year full replacement on these. However the new owners would not take over the warranty's so we paid a lot of money for nothing. Will never do that again, hopefully.
We purchased our aireloom Hathaway Luxtop king for 4876.99 on 4/19/2014, a year later it started to sag and lose support, I made a claim with mattress warehouse and am still waiting for resolution. Ours sags about 1-2 inches in various spots without any weight on it. and has little to no support.
I don't know who you bought your Aireloom from but, I bought mine (a CA King) in 1977 (smile) with a 25 year guarantee. I still sleep on it because it has arrows on it to direct you in which way to turn it. I am so sorry that some of you had to give such a poor report. I consider it the best mattress that I have ever slept on and I am considering buying a new one soon. I have had people to visit and I give them my bed, They rave over my bed. I hope that you all dis-satisfied customers got the real deal. I notice that some of you spell the name as "Airloom"? Well mine spell "Aireloom". Maybe yours are counterfeits?
I spent almost $3, 000 on Aireloom Cimarron Luxe Top 4 years ago. I loved this mattress the first 3 yrs but this last yr my back started hurting at night and I noticed my butt was sinking in the bed. There is no sagging visible, so the mattress is not covered under warranty. I should have listened to the negative reviews before I purchased this mattress. I can't believe I wasted $3.000. I will never purchase a spring mattress again. Don't waste your money on a Airloom mattress.
Just purchased a vitagenic Aireloom plush from Macy's .
It was very comfortable while lying on it in the store. But after 2 weeks sags way down as
I lay down & lower back is sore went last night to Macy's to pick out another bed
A Simmons Beauty rest luxury firm .I have to pay a restocking fee & delivery fee
Oh well lesson learned .
We purchased the Aireloom Queen Anne which had a ridiculous asking price of $6, 000 but they sold it to us for $3, 000. we experienced sagging from the beginning. Mancini Sleepwear sells this as their top of the line mattress, hand made. ie it is the Cadillac of the Mattress market.. if came with a 20 year warranty at the time. So, i put in a claim to Aireloom. they send out what they call an independent inspection person. He spends a lot of time at your home. He warned me when he arrived that he had turned down a number of mattress that day. bottom line is he agreed with me that this mattress had failed and should be replaced. within a couple of days i got a form letter from the warranty department at Aireloom turning it down. i was shocked. i called the department and found the person who ran this department very rude. she would not listen to my story and would not return my phone calls. i strongly believe that you should avoid Aireloom at all costs..they fail quickly.

We bought a $3, 000 Aireloom Vitagenic Hand Tufted Luxury Plush Cal King mattress from Macys in 2012 that began to settle at both my bottom and my husband's bottom area within TWO MONTHS! We weigh between 160 to 185 pounds each. It sank so bad it created a "trough" with a hump in the middle of the bed and became unbearable. However, the mattress would rise back up afterwards and did not sink on its own to the warranty specific depth of 1.5 inches. We paid Macy's $500 to return and restock that mattress and used the mattress return credit to purchase a Beautyrest Black Kameryn Plush, which ended with a bulging side and a popping spring within TWO Years and was covered by the Simmons warranty. Now in 2015, I am reluctant to buy a new mattress having been disappointed in both manufacturers' workmanship. I sat on the newest Aireloom Vitagenic Classic foam mattress prices on sale for $2200 and the coils squeaked and the Macy's salesman could hear it too but couldn't explain the issue!
Purchased an Aireloom mattress 3 years ago for nearly $2000. I agree that you can find complaints on most mattresses, but I strongly recommend you do not buy an Aireloom. The mattress is sagging terribly and both me and my wife have sore backs. Warranty will not be honored by Aireloom (Kluft Company) or RC Willey. Worst purchase I have made in a long time!
