Airports Taxi Transfers review: Inadequate service and refund

We used this company in the algarve - Faro to Alvor and back again. The pick-up was fine. Someone was there waiting for us and took us to the taxi, as scheduled.

However nobody showed up on our return trip. We rang a few numbers to enquire and we didn’t get a call back. When we rang back, they wouldn’t answer. In the end, we had to get a cab which cost over 100 euro and nearly missed our flight. Eventually, we got through to a lady who told us we would get a refund for the entire return trip plus 25% which would end up as more than our cab cost us - this was a lie! She relayed a story about la car issue - nobody thought to inform us of this and no other arrangements were made for us. We were standing around waiting for ages.

In the end, they only refunded us for the half of the trip that they didn’t show up for, despite photographic evidence of the taxi receipt - they basically told us tough, that’s what you’re getting. We were around 30 euro out of pocket and none of this was our fault.
