I have been in my home 2 years. I put in for a technician to come and check the opening of the HVAC system as it appeared to be stuck so I can change the filter. I waited 3x on 3 different days for a technician to come. No one came, no one called or apologized. The dates were July 6, 13 and 15th. My daughter has allergies and it is essential to change filters regularly.
Airtron warranty service
Airtron was out a month ago for routine summer tune-up under maintenance agreement. Two weeks later the system was blocked and fluid was going out of the auxiliary pipe. Past experience on calling Airtron has been less than ideal so I decided to have a plumber come out and clear the pipes. At about the same time the air handler fan kept turning on and off in sequence and never fully turning on. I took a video of the incident. Called Airtron to come out- after a service charge- the person they sent had no idea what was going on and spent about 10 minutes on the AC. His suggestion was to decrease the Aprilaire fresh controller to zero. Absolutely no help, nor did he have a clue regarding the programming of the Aprilaire. Told me to call an expert at Airtron. I thought that was supposed to be his job.
A/C excessive heat warning and warrantee
A/C has been broken since last Sun 6/18. The request to fix was placed Tues 6/20. An employee came out Thurs 6/22. Replaced fuse, but blew again. Said they needed a wire or contactor part and would get back to us the next day if in stock or had to order it. Could fix it in the next couple of days, if it was just wire but might be a bigger issue. We got no message from the whole weekend. We called Mon 6/26 and were told the part is back-ordered and no date can be provided for fixing this despite expressed concerns about excessive heat wave warning this Thurs, Fri, Sat of temperatures above 90 that feel like 105-115 and the danger to Third-Trimester pregnancy and potential of long term health effects of premature delivery. Called Wed 6/28 to ask if we could find another contractor or search for the part and not void the warranty but were told you have lots of customers without A/C during this excessive heat wave. How many of your customers are vulnerable populations without A/C during this excessive heat wave? Why do so many of your customers have issues?

Careless, unreliable company
What a careless and unreliable company! It has been a nightmare to deal with them. They installed a brand new system in my newly built house in 2021, but you can't imagine how poor the installation and the devices they used are. I have had to make 7 service calls in 2 years, including issues with the condenser fan motor, freon leaks (twice), and a power surge in the furnace. Their customer service is the worst part. They are experts at lying to you.
For example, I had an issue with my AC on Friday, June 9th, at 2 PM. They gave me the first available appointment on Saturday with a very wide window from 8 AM till 9 PM. They assured me they would call me 30-40 minutes before the technician arrived at my house. However, what actually happened is that the technician arrived at 6:50 PM when I wasn't at home. They called me at 7 PM, but I missed their call. The next day, they told me that they had tried to call me to let me know the technician was on his way, which was a complete lie. They kept lying by saying the technician would come on Sunday, but then they called and said they couldn't come and the soonest they could do was Wednesday. Nobody showed up, and they even hired a third-party company to answer the phones after hours, only to keep saying they don't have access to the system.
Furthermore, most of their technicians are not qualified at all. They will lie to you about the issue just to get the job done. I have only had one skilled and honest technician, who came after another technician because the same problem occurred the next day. Overall, I cannot recommend this company. Unfortunately, I didn't have the option to choose them as they were hired by the builder.

New build home purchase 2/27. Airtron was the HVAC provider with a two year warranty. The unit cooling is defective with over 24 service calls. Superiors, general managers, mfg rep. have been onsite as of July . Issue still persists with running excessively. The supervisor and general managers aren't returning phone calls or emails.

I am being forced to stay in a hotel tonight because these people are refusing to come out to look at the *** unit and fix it even though we fall under the emergency list for having an infant and elderly people in the home. We had a scheduled appointment today between 1-8 PM for them to come and look at the issues. This company's representative had the audacity to hang up the phone on me after I called this morning trying to inquire what to do with an emergency like we had overnight with the *** not working and airtron not having an emergency hotline. The woman had a lot of nerve telling me to pay for a technician to come out and service the *** unit even though I've only lived in this brand new build for two weeks.

I bought my home in July .The business, Airtron, works on behalf of Century Communities who built my home, to provide warranty service for the heating/AC unit Airtron install in my home prior to my new home purchase.The problem has existed for months. There is a toxic odor that comes out of the vents in my house instead of clean most of the time. I wear a face mask indoors much of the time, even when I sleep. Odor wakes me up at various times of the night. Lately, it has been almost constant, almost 24/7. It is difficult to breath and my nostrils begin to burn. So, I'm forced to open windows even though hot air comes in.No serious effort to resolve the problem, they only clean clean the coil: I paid to do my annual, but issue remains, they mostly talk. We have a service contract with Airtron for maintenance and repair. The unit was not cooling On 6/12, I called to service it. I was told our service contract plus the unit had a 10-year warranty, there would be no charge for parts or labor. On 06/13, the service technician indicated a hole in the coil. He couldn't locate it, but he filled the unit with coolant. After our inquiry he said that it would continue to work for another 1-3 weeks depending on the size of the hole. This was fixed once before by Airtron. Obviously, not properly. Shortly thereafter, we received a call from (SALESMAN) ***, Sr. He stated Lennox was out of the part. He then said it would cost $5,000 to fix but would give us a 10% discount and it would be $4,500. We want Airtron to fix our unit as stated at no cost. We have 3 children - twins who are 13 months, and one 6 year old - who are greatly impacted by the summer heat. We've upheld our part Airtron needs to uphold theirs.

My A/C unit went out on August 6
My A/C unit went out on August 6. Airtron placed a temp. motor in the A/C to keep our house cool while they ordered a new motor on the same day. On August 27th, I was scheduled to have the new motor installed. I called at 10am on August 27 at 10am to see when the service team would arrive. I was told by ***, I believe her name was, that the part was not in the warehouse. Airtron's team member told me she did not know what happened that it was confirmed the day prior that the part was there. She then said she will call to update me in the next day or so that the part would be there. I called on Sept 7, 2021 to follow dup and *** again told me to hold and once she got back on the phone she said the part would either arrive at the warehouse the morning of Sept. 8 or the afternoon of Sept 8, and that it would be installed Sept 8th in the morning or Sept 9th in the morning. It is now Sept 9, 2021 at 12:50pm and I have not gotten any calls from Airtron.

My AC had cooling problems on September 29. I called AIRTRON and by phone they offer me the HomeCare Plan. It sounds very convenient because they offered Annual system tune-*** safety checks, protection on parts and labor, discounts on new equipment. What they DON'T tell you is that their prices for the equipment are REALLY expensive, and that if you want to cancel the contract you will be charge with administrative fees ($150.00). The technician came to the home and told me that we need to buy a new unit (They did not tell me about repairs, but just showed the intention to sell a new AC unit). There wasn't a technician report, no documents about the visit, and no repairs or not tune-*** The same day another seller came and quoted for a new unit. The price was absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I just want to cancel the "Plan". I called the company, but they will charge for a visit just for selling a expensive unit, and for a cancelation fee that I was not informed about.

We called Airtron for a routine maintenance on our A/C unit and they sent a technician who went in our attic to clean out the drain line but she didn't reconnect the drain line properly and the result is a huge water leak and damage to our ceiling. We had them come out and then went on vacation for 2 weeks. When we got back, there was a huge bubble. My husband called Airtron back and they sent *** out who took pictures and admitted that they did it and he fixed the drain line. When my husband called and spoke to Michael the service manager, he was rude and his technician (the one who messed up) lied and said that damage was already there and now Airtron refuses to repair or pay for the damage their technician made. We just bought this home a year ago and had an inspection, we've had no issues in the ceiling and there was no damage before she came. That unit was put in not too long ago and we just had one of their technicians out for routine service about 6 months ago.

14 Aug 21, I contacted Airtron due to my home failing to cool. Temperatures remains between *** degrees. I've had several issues with my HVAC since it was installed by Airtron in Apr 2010. After countless service calls and 5 years of extremely high electric bills, in July , Airtron finally admitted to installing my damper system incorrectly. Nonetheless, the issue was resolved and my system began cooling as it should. Fast forward to Apr 2018, I made a service call to Airtron due to my home failing to cool. The technician tested my system and found the evaporator coil was leaking. Due to years of service calls and negligence on their part, the manager gave me a discount to replace the coil and charged me $1200. I was told the coil has a 10 year warranty. 16 Aug 21, a technician responded, troubleshot and found the coil leaking. I was informed that this part isn't under warranty. I've reached out to Airtron management for the past 8 hours with no response. My home is 90 degrees.

The techs are supposed to make sure they do everything and check the drains and back up drains to ensure this *** is running properly that I purchased through them. But on Tuesday, October 12, my downstairs bathroom ? flooded which allowed water underneath the stairs and it went to the garage. Because the drains had not been cleaned out. The technician found a dysfunctional compressor on a 6 year old new construction unit that had been maintained twice a year by airtron technicians. This unit was in exceptional working order as documented by airtron since installation. Note: airtron was the contractor who installed the unit at initial construction. IMMEDIATELY the technician recommended a COMPLETE SYSTEM CHANGOUT at a cost of $10,000! Note: Every other component of this system is in exceptional condition. Only after the homeowner demanded a quote to only replaced the non functional compressor was the homeowner quoted a price of $2000. This is a deceptive way to do business and is preying on unsuspecting homeowners. This constitutes a threat to the public welfare and unprofessional conduct. My name is undisclosed. I live at an unspecified address. The air condition unit at my home is not working and is currently under warranty. I have owned my townhouse for a year and a half approximately. There have been five separate occasions that six different technicians have been to my home to resolve my air condition problem. This has been an issue for over three weeks now. The technicians diagnosed a part that needed to be replaced to fix my air condition unit. On May 5th, I was told a technician would come out to double check the diagnosis. I was informed by a technician that the part will be ordered and will take approximately three to five days to arrive, as of May 9th. The number to call Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning has a voicemail box that is full. I have to try and call Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning multiple times almost daily to find out an estimated time of arrival for the part. I spoke to someone today on May 23, 2022, and was told that the person who was supposed to order the part apparently quit, therefore the part was not ordered. I still have not been given a time or confirmation of the part being ordered. I have an infant baby at my home that is suffering in the heat. It should be noted that I am a woman of color and I feel that I am being discriminated against due to my gender and race. This is because one of the technicians told me that my next-door neighbors, who happen to be Caucasian, had the same issue and it was fixed within the week of diagnosis.

We purchased a new home in 2015 and our AC was installed by Airtron and came with a 5 year Warranty. We started having problems with our AC not cooling in January . They came out on January 16 and noted that the AC was out of freon due to a leak however they were not able to locate a leak. They refilled the unit with freon and left. On January 29 we had to call them again due to our AC not cooling. A different technician responded and found the unit to be empty of freon again; he indicated that there must be a leak somewhere however he was not able to locate it. He replaced a schrader valve core and cap as well as recharged with freon again and left. On February 10 we called again due to our system not cooling. A different technician arrived (3rd technician to work on our system) and upon arrival the condenser was not running and the capacitor was shorted out. The capacitor was replaced however the system was still not running and was again out of freon. He found a leak at the capillary tube solder joint on the suction line and fixed it. The system was recharged and more freon was added again. On July 13 we called due to our system not cooling again. We were told a technician would be out to us prior to 10 PM. Around 11 PM I called and waited on hold for 45 minutes for someone to tell me that nobody had been dispatched to our home and that we would be on the list for the 14th. On July 14 a technician arrived (different from any previous time) and found the unit to be low on freon again. The air handler was checked for leaks and many were found and we were told that a coil was leaking. Technician also noted that there may be a leak in the wall somewhere which could also be causing freon to leak out. Initially they tried to quote us over $3000 to replace the coil as they said our warranty was up however after pushing them further they found that our warranty was still valid through August. They were to order a replacement coil and repair the issue. He refilled our unit with freon and indicated that if we had issues it would be due to the freon having leaked out and we would need to call for someone to respond and reload the freon. The unit never cooled the house off. On July 15th, the drip pan was overflowing and the emergency drip line was dripping outside. My husband vacuumed the water out and flushed it out however the temperature inside our house continued to rise and it never cooled off. We were contacted this morning about the coil being installed on the 16th however our home is still very hot. We called and asked them to come refill the unit with freon due to the rising temperature however were told that they could not promise someone would be out today to do that despite knowing we have an infant in our home. We have had now 4 different technicians in our home and all say there is a leak somewhere however our unit continues to leak freon resulting in our system not cooling properly. My worry is that our warranty is up next month and I fear that Airtron is biding their time and putting bandaid solutions on the issue rather than replacing the unit entirely while it is still under warranty. Their work has not been effective and after August each service call will have to come out of my own pocket even though we have been having the same recurring issue go on since January.
