In short, do not trust the fact that so many of these Alamo complaints are marked as "resolved." I put in a complaint regarding Alamo on July 24, 2023. On July 29, Alamo asked for more information via email. I complied. By August 7 I received the following email from the Complaints Board:
"As we have not received a response from you after the company's response to your complaint, we are assuming that the complaint is no longer relevant, or you're no longer interested in it. We regret to inform you that the complaint has now been marked as 'resolved'."
I clearly missed a step somewhere along the process. How was I to inform the Complaints Board that I sent Alamo the requested information and haven't received a resolution?
As of this date, I still do not have a resolution to this issue with Alamo. I have inquired twice with the company to find out the status of the complaint. Each time, I get a response that says we're working on it.
Bottom line, Alamo knows if they drag out the process, the Complaints Board will automatically show the issue is resolved to the customers satisfaction.
Desired outcome: Alamo refunds the money I paid for damage.
