I gotta say, this company is a total letdown
I gotta say, this company is a total letdown. The tow truck dude was hella rude when he finally showed up to release our rides. We had been chillin' there for what felt like forever. It's straight up messed up that they only got one driver on deck after hours, especially when they gotta handle other police stuff too. And don't even get me started on their appointment-only policy. It's just plain ridiculous, man. Makes it a real struggle for us hardworking folks to get our wheels back.
I got some wrong info on how to retrieve my car from All City Towing
I got some wrong info on how to retrieve my car from All City Towing. I called them 4 times to make sure we had the right paperwork, even went and got it notarized. But when we got there, they changed the requirements. It felt like they only cared about wasting my time. They showed no sympathy after wasting my whole day for nothing. This could have been avoided if they had just one employee who cared even a little bit. I've heard others having the same problems with this company, like they purposely try to keep the car longer and rack up fees.
Rood. Unresponsiv
Rood. Unresponsiv. They kept sayin a driver will be there to open the gate but it took them 6 hours to come to the lot for me to get my vehicle. They lied and said they got a call from the police about an abandon vehicle, but I checked with all the local police departments and found out it wasnt true. After waitin 6 hours, I saw that my car got damaged on both sides by their driver.
I'm really happy and satisfied with the service from All City Towing
I'm really happy and satisfied with the service from All City Towing. Sadly, a pothole messed up a part of my tire's sidewall, which wasn't how I wanted to spend my Saturday afternoon. The driver arrived in under 20 minutes. He was super professional, friendly, and took good care of my car. He assisted in getting my car to the tire shop so I could continue with my weekend plans. Having a friendly person around can really change things when you're dealing with a frustrating situation. I'm glad I contacted All City Towing and would suggest them to my friends and family.
Terrible abuse of "power" by the employees
Terrible abuse of "power" by the employees. Rude and discriminatory treatment of customers who have the audacity to ask a question about their questionable charges and requirements. I was told I could not get an appointment with our verbal confirmation that I was doing what the employee demanded of me by way of copies of my registration which they had in their possession. Then, after I complied, I was told my proof wasn't sufficient again and told to wait outside in 90-degree weather as a punishment, so to speak, for not doing as I was told! I am absolutely going to file a civil lawsuit against this establishment moving forward.
If they had a choice for no stars, that would be my choice
If they had a choice for no stars, that would be my choice. If you get into a car wreck, try and make sure this place don't get called to tow your vehicle from the scene. Not only did someone total my car, I got injured but All City Towing wouldn't let me retrieve my toolbox from the vehicle. It wasn't bolted down, so I had to get my belongings out by myself because I was the only one allowed back there, even though I'm injured. The accident wasn't my fault, I didn't have any tickets or holds on my vehicle, like an impound. I simply got hit, got injured, and All City Towing treated me really badly when all I wanted was to get my toolbox and belongings.
This place is a complete joke!
This place is a complete joke! They're crooks! Our vehicle got towed FROM OUR PARKING SPOT AT HOME! Instead of checking if our car was parked in the right place, they towed it ILLEGALLY. Then we're here waiting for over 5 HOURS for someone to come to the yard and give us back our car, breaking ANOTHER LAW by keeping our property and not giving it back to us promptly. This company should be closed down! They're crooks and don't follow the law when it comes to towing properly or checking if a vehicle is in the right spot before towing it away. I already have a lawyer involved against this company, but PLEASE do your research and avoid dealing with these people if you can!
Hello, my name is John Doe, one of our fleet cars had been involved in an accident on March 31, 2022
Hello, my name is John Doe, one of our fleet cars had been involved in an accident on March 31, 2022. The Police Officer investigating the crash did a great job as they always do, thank you Phoenix PD. What impressed me the most was the professionalism the towing company showed. All-City Towing was excellent from their arrival on the scene to when we collected our belongings from their yard on April 7, 2022. I can't recall the driver's name, but thank you, sir! Mike was the employee who assisted me at the yard. He drove me in a golf cart, helped me unload our vehicle, and transported me back. A class act! Thank you, All-City Towing!

On August 25, local Police had my registered vehicle towed from my residence
On August 25, local Police had my registered vehicle towed from in front of my residence without cause. All City Towing, under contract with the city, impounded my truck, charging $38.50 daily for storage. This fee exceeds the city's legal cap of $15.00 per day. My truck is essential for my work. Attempts to negotiate with the storage yard manager were fruitless; they denied any installment plan and claimed exemption from the fee limit. On September 27, I wrote to All City, insisting on vehicle release at the legal rate. At their headquarters, the alleged General Manager dismissed me and refused my letter, directing me to their lawyer. I'm convinced All City is exploiting citizens through excessive fees for minor parking issues. I depend on my truck for employment. It's crucial to question how many others are exploited by such practices and why authorities allow this unbridled behavior.
I got my car towed after I found someone in my spot in my apartment complex and parked in another one
I got my car towed after I found someone in my spot in my apartment complex and parked in another one. Fine, that's my fault. What has happened afterwards is that the towing company personnel have been very rude and unprofessional. Their business model does not incentivize them to care about giving you your car back in a timely manner. When you get towed, you have no options except to just get your car from them. The longer they have your car, the more money they make. Why would they ever want to help you get your car back quickly? I went to try to pick my car up during an after hours time since they book by appointment and it was all full. On a Saturday afternoon, the company only has one person available responding to calls and giving people their cars back. Utterly ridiculous and bad planning on the part of the company. I witnessed the tow truck driver finally take a lady's information and payment, get called by dispatch to an accident scene, and drive away without giving the lady her car. That's got to be criminal. He said he'd give it back when he came back and who knows when that would be. One man handling an entire company's worth of work on a saturday, a day when most people have time to go get their cars. This company did not mind leaving 10+ people waiting in the heat in a 105+ degree day at their university drive location. That's inhumane and unprofessional. I ended up leaving and opting for an appointment. Tow truck drivers probably get a lot of crap from people and that makes them on the defensive most of the time, but they also start a lot of crap to people who just want their cars back and are not rude. I've witness this company do that in multiple instances.

On April 2, I paid $133 to get my vehicle out of the tow yard from All City Towing
On April 2, I paid $133 to get my vehicle out of the tow yard from All City Towing. I never got my key fob when I got my car. They told me they didn't get them but to call *** I called the police station and they finally got back to me, saying they don't have my keys but the tow company does and I would need to pay for it.
My car got towed from a handicap parking spot
My car got towed from a handicap parking spot. They said it was because it was a retail handicap parking spot. I had a handicap placard on the front review mirror. When I called, they couldn't tell me who or why they towed my car. I was towed illegally and want my $125 back. I have pictures of where my car was parked and also in their lot with the placard in it.
My truck got towed by this company and when I finally got it back, it was in really bad shape
My truck got towed by this company and when I finally got it back, it was in really bad shape. They yanked off my front bumper, smashed my tail light, and completely flattened my tires. The worst part is, they won't take responsibility or offer any assistance for the damages they clearly caused. I've been trying to reach Sirena, the manager of the claims department, but it seems impossible to get through. I'm really stuck and could really use some help with this situation.

I had to pay to get my vehicle back
I had to pay to get my vehicle back. I told the driver how to use the fancy steering lock in my car, but he didn't listen and broke my key in the ignition. I filed a claim for the damage with the company two days later (it's been almost a month now), and they said they would give me a decision within a week. Trying to contact the claims department has been really unpleasant, with them being rude, calling me names, and just acting really awful.
This tow yard has my car (which I need for work), and they have really strict rules for paperwork and won't work with my insurance company's
This tow yard has my car (which I need for work), and they have really strict rules for paperwork and won't work with my insurance company's towing service to get it to a repair shop. Because of this, I've been out of work while All City Towing has my car. I've already lost $1800 in wages and I'll keep losing $200 every day they keep my car.
This company towed my Lexus and I'm not even upset about the vehicle being towed
This company towed my Lexus and I'm not even upset about the vehicle being towed. I'm upset that they had the nerve to write on my windshield with some kind of marker that doesn't come off. I've tried cleaning my windshield many times in different ways. The only way to remove it is by scratching the windshield to get that orange marker off. I've been trying for days. It's not acceptable for you to write on my vehicle during the towing process. You're defacing property, and replacing a new windshield costs more than $1000.
A vehicle owned by Element was involved in an accident on 5/17
A vehicle owned by Element was involved in an accident on 5/17. The police towed the vehicle to All City Towing. We contacted All City Towing on 5/20 to claim the vehicle and to ask what was needed to get the vehicle released from their custody. We were advised of charges and were advised a copy of the title would be needed. We contacted DMV for a copy of the title as one was not available in our records. We then later found out that All City Towing filed for the title as an abandoned vehicle. This was not an abandoned vehicle, as we contacted All City Towing advising we were gonna move the vehicle from their location.
We got a message from our apartment complex boss that we gotta park in a special spot 'cause they're fixin' up the road in our usual parking
We got a message from our apartment complex boss that we gotta park in a special spot 'cause they're fixin' up the road in our usual parking spots. So, on August 18th, I went lookin' for a place to park my ride and left it in a spot that was okayed for the fixin', based on the map the apartment complex gave us. On August 19, we stepped outside only to see our ride was gone. We asked the apartment office and they said it got towed to another part of the parking lot for the fixin'. We double-checked the map and saw that we had actually parked in the right spot. So, All City Towing messed up and towed our ride by mistake. And to top it off, they messed up the ride while they were towin' it. I got the proof right here.
*** is taking people's cars without their consent using state statutes
is taking people's cars without their consent using state statutes. It is concerning that they impose a 15-day deadline to file paperwork, only to manipulate and fabricate documents under a revised statute that allows the inspection and tow company to file whenever they want. Consequently, the car accumulates exorbitant fees. I personally experienced a frustrating situation where I was put on hold with MVD while they attempted to contact the tow company. However, the employees would answer the phone, ask MVD to wait, and then pass the phone to another employee who would claim to transfer the call but ultimately disconnect it. When I tried calling back, none of them would answer, and they seemed to find the situation amusing. Additionally, the person in charge withheld my 30-day police release and refused to return it or provide a copy.
My daughter had an accident on September 21st, and All City Towing came to tow the vehicle
My daughter had an accident on September 21st, and All City Towing came to tow the vehicle. The next day, on 09/22, we went to the tow lot to clean out the vehicle and offered them the title. Surprisingly, the staff at All City Towing refused to accept the title, saying they didn't need it. This seemed odd to us, so my husband called them later to discuss the matter. Once again, they insisted that they didn't want the title.
Now, here's where things get complicated. I recently found out that I have been slapped with a $500 fine by the Arizona *** for vehicle abandonment. This fine has also caused a block on renewing the tags for my other vehicles until the issue is resolved. We reached out to the *** and they informed us that it's All City Towing's responsibility to resolve the issue. All they need is for All City Towing to confirm that they received the title, and the fine will be removed.
Desperate for a solution, we contacted All City Towing again on January 28th, 2022. To our dismay, they once again refused to accept the title and claimed that it wasn't their problem. They showed no willingness to provide any further assistance.
My daughter's car got towed on 10/2 by PHX PD and taken to the University location
My daughter's car got towed on 10/2 by PHX PD and taken to the University location. Inside the car, there were two brand new iPhones - a 13 Pro and an SE. She tried to retrieve the car on the same day, but they required the title and registration to be present in the vehicle. So, an employee named *** went into the car to get this information. However, since I (mom) am the one on the title, I had to be there to remove the car. This happened just 15 minutes before closing time on Saturday. They told us to come back when I'm present, warning us that after-hours fees would be charged.
Both of us went there on 10/3 and paid the extra "Sunday fees." The tow driver entered the car, drove it to the front of the lot, and then hooked it up to the tow truck to bring it out. As soon as we had access to the car, we searched for the phones, which were kept in the middle console area. To our dismay, they were nowhere to be found - they were gone! We called after hours and spoke with ***. She assured us that their drivers don't steal phones. She advised us to fill out a missing property form on 10/4 when they open. However, *** claimed that PD *** had taken the phones. We confirmed with the PD, and the arresting officer *** did not have or take the phones! It seems like our only option is to demand the return or replacement of our phones, which cost us $1400. It's clear that only their employees had access to the vehicle, making them the likely culprits - a bunch of thieves!
My car got towed by All City Towing on Thursday 12/19
My car got towed by All City Towing on Thursday 12/19. I went to retrieve some items from my vehicle and noticed damage to the front. The attendant who drove me to my car immediately pointed out the damage. He mentioned he didn't tow my car but drove it to the yard because I had left the keys. There were 4 different impacts: one on the hood, two on the front bumper with holes, and a damaged grill. Upon retrieving my car on Monday, I informed the staff, and was told the manager would be notified. Receiving no update, I contacted the manager after work. She showed me a paper where the damage was noted but without photos, time, or date. I argued this wasn't sufficient evidence. She promised to file a complaint. Later, I was informed they wouldn't take responsibility for the damage. My new vehicle still has a significant loan balance, and all I seek is for them to repair the towing-related damage and accept liability. The damage has affected the auto start/stop feature, and I need my car restored to its pre-tow condition.
I guess you could say this is like price gouging
I guess you could say this is like price gouging. My car got towed, and I don't have a problem with the tow charge itself. What bothers me is the shady stuff they do and how they take advantage of COVID-19 concerns. It was a Saturday night when my car disappeared. On Sunday, I called the tow company and they said I could get my car back if I had my registration. Like any normal person, I keep my registration in my glove box. I asked if I could get my stuff from the car or if they could grab my registration for me. I had my driver's license and insurance card with my car number on it (plus I had the keys). They said no because of COVID-19. They wouldn't let their attendants go into the cars, and they wouldn't let people into the lot even with supervision. So I tried calling the non-emergency police number, but since it was after 3:00, the operator wouldn't connect me that day. The next day, I went to pick up my car, and they gave me the same excuse. So I called the police, and they came to help me. I got my car. Here's the kicker: THE ATTENDANT DROVE MY CAR OUT OF THE LOT. So the whole thing about not letting them enter the car was just an excuse. I don't think I should be charged for the second day because they're clearly using COVID to make people leave their cars there longer and charge them more. Also, the lady working there told me I had to get new registration papers. That's nonsense. I shouldn't have to pay for new papers when there's a perfectly good one in the car. I'm glad I had the guts to involve the police, but I shouldn't have had to waste their time. ALSO: They charged me for 3 days even though my car was towed at 10:00 PM on the first day. That shouldn't count as a whole day.
The lady on the phone told me I could get my car at 6am
The lady on the phone told me I could get my car at 6am. I arrived at 6am and was told I had to wait for 1hr to 1hr 30min to get my car. Then they made excuses for the negligent employee and said it's Sunday. If they were closed on Sunday, the person on the phone should have mentioned it, and I could have gotten my car on Monday. But no, they didn't say anything about that. Then I spoke to a driver outside and asked for help, but he refused. After waiting for 20min with no update, I tried calling again, but they couldn't reach any drivers. I always heard stories about bad tow companies, and now I've seen it with my own eyes. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. The employees are uneducated and unhelpful, and there's a complete lack of employees as well. The owner of this company should be held accountable for allowing such a mess. A company representative told me to be here at 6, and now my time is being wasted. I called again after 15min for confirmation, but still nothing. It's unacceptable that I was lied to over the phone, and now I have to sit in this dirty parking lot waiting for a technician when an employee knew I would be here. I know no company is perfect, but how can you set the bar so low in all aspects of business? I hope you take this complaint seriously and improve. I saw the same truck driver drive back without a vehicle. I've been here for an hour now. The person on the phone said someone is on their way. After waiting for 1.5hr, a technician finally arrived. I found out they only accept *** and Mastercard. *** and Discover are big institutions, so it doesn't make sense that a company of this size wouldn't accept those cards. I finally got my car. I'm mostly frustrated that an employee would lie over the phone. I would like a full refund for the misinformation I was given and for having to spend an extra 1.5hr waiting for my vehicle. The technician also didn't give me a paper receipt. Please send one.
