Allegiant Air My trip

I saved up enough money to fly to see my son before he goes out of the country. I am 78 and fixed income and also deaf. I have flown with my hearing assist dog on 4 or 5 airlines with no problem. I filled out the dot form and then called to make sure that she was approved and had a ID number. They told me all was good, and she had her ID number. I went to the airport yesterday for my flight. I carry my small dog in a secure sling on my chest. They took my bags and then I showed the lady my form and my ID number for my dog. She put it in and it was rejected. I guess I forgot to put in her description. Which I always do. But, they told me the form was fine and issued a id number for her. I called the dot and they said if you have a id number you should be able to fly. The lady said no I could not take her. I could buy her a place for $50.00. I hated that but said I had no choice because I needed to get to see my son. It is very hard to sometimes work with people when you are deaf but I always try. I paid the fee then the lady said I had to put her in a carrier since she could not fly as a assist dog. Of course I did not have a carrier since I always fly with the sling. So I ask if they had a carrier I could rent, or whatever. They do not. Soooo. I could not fly. My son is leaving on the 15 th of January and my never get to see him. I feel that since they looked over my forms and approved and issued a Id and did not let me know about the one part that they should refund my money or more important give me a voucher to fly before he leaves. I have tried and tried to phone them and put on hold with music for two hours and still did not get through. I can only use a phone with captions or people have to email me or text me. My email is [protected]@spectrum.net. I was so happy with the price and how close it was to my home. But not sure now.

Allegiant Air Plane left without us.

The plane left w/o us. The plane was still on the ground when we arrived. Another person also was late. My sister has health issues. The shuttle buses were so slow. We checked in and our luggage went w/o us. My sister medication was also sent ahead. We are not frequent flyers and maybe a little slow on the draw. We went to other airlines to try and get back home. Several places said they had others that had complained about Allegiants plane leaving w/o them. They could have let us on that plane! It was a while before that plane left. It cost us 1.200 to get us both back home with American Airlines. This was not a trip for pleasure but to see our 91 year old father. Our return flight was Oct. 29 at 3PM. I probably will have to fly out again soon and it would be nice to have a credit on a ticket.

Desired outcome: At least a refund placed on a ticket to go back out to California

Allegiant Air Canceled Flight Fees D-

I made reservations in Oct. 2022 to fly in Feb. 2023. I had to cancel my plans a week later (still Oct. 2022), which was in plenty of time to receive a refund. The total cost of the round trip $220. Allegiant gave me a voucher for $126.50. This is unacceptable. I will accept a refund on my credit card, minus a reasonable fee but 45% of the flight? Unacceptable.

Allegiant Air Cancellation policy

I have learned the hard way on how Allegiant Air stays in Business. I purchased a round trip ticket and needed to cancel it. Instead of a warning or a opertunity to select different option, one close ck and the flight is immediately cancelled. You get no opportunity to reverse your choice or pursue other options. THEN you take approximately half the ticket price for this for your troubles. The other half you also steal because it is a credit towards another flight. I guess it works better for you to steal everything because you then require the credit to be used in one year. If you cared, you would actually at least give back the credit voucher money but this legal way of stealing keeps your airline flying.

Desired outcome: I gave you real money. I do not want a damn credit voucher with restrictions. I also think the fees are ridiculous in the amount you keep. You business tactics are horrible.

Allegiant Air Allegiant air

I purchased two tickets for $280 at 9:16 pm the next day a situation arose in my life that caused me to have to cancel. I got home from work at 5:00 pm to cancel. It would only show that I would receive a voucher. I was not aware of the full refund if canceled within 24hrs. I called 2 weeks later waited on hold for 45 min. I explained that the time from when I purchased tickets to the next day when I tried to request refund was 21 hrs. She asked if I had proof and why I waited 2 weeks to call. I explained that I was not aware of full refund if within 24hrs. and that is my error I understand. But now hear me out on this. This is what allegiant does….. they have it set up so if you cancel online within 24hrs it will not offer a cash refund. It will still try to give you a voucher. They have it like that so that if you were not aware of the 24 hr cancellation policy and went to cancel you’ll see the message that details your refund in form of voucher. This is so that people will think that’s all they can get and won’t take the time to call and wait on hold for up to 2 hrs. This is intentional and deceptive. If it wasn’t then you should be able, within 24hrs , to get online request cancellation, and if it’s within 24 hrs you should not see anything offering a voucher whatsoever. It should show a full refund when you request a cancellation. But it won’t it will always give you the voucher refund notice even when you cancel within 24 hrs. This is criminal in a way. If not immoral and a crude business practice. Anyone can buy it ticket and see for yourself. Try canceling within 24hrs online you will always get offered one thing, a voucher, with no mention of the full cash refund that someone would be entitled to according to their own policy

Desired outcome: I want a full refund for their deceptive practices and not at anytime within 24 hrs can,you see anything that says your getting a full refund. YOU WILL ALWAYS GET THIS MESSAGE EVEN WHEN YOU CANCEL WITHIN 24 hrs

Allegiant Air Purchased tickets no boarding

Hat boarding tickets for 26 September was printed out by employee was the incorrect boarding pass among getting on board was towed needed different passes and to go to customer service upon standing in line at customer service to get correct tickets agent says she is not able to print the tickets after talking to agent and wanting to speak to a manager 30 minutes went by and was told by manager it was too late was not able to board the plane due to their error still have my pay for tickets and have confirmation recorded documented of me being at the airport

When we got to our seats my wife sat down and told the attendant that there was blood 🩸 on the wall and all the way down the side. We waited 5 minutes and no one came back. I started taking pictures and Laura Ann (picture #2) “immediately” asked “sir why are you taking pictures?” She asked a second time “Sir I need too ok ask you for what reason are you taking pictures?” After the 3rd time I responded! “You may ask but it does not require me to answer that!” Being very polite

She immediately tried to “intimidate” me with “this is my airline and my job! How would you like me to kick you off this flight!” “I can do that!” “So what’s it gonna be?”….

I didn’t say anything! But how in the hell am I going to be kicked off a flight for her lack of checking the aircraft between flights.. as well as just taking pictures of blood on her plane..

she was rude, disgruntle, looking for a fight one passenger told me and I feel she was “racist” on top of that.. I need a call, as I’m thinking of Talking to an Attourney about the situation… WE HAVE A RETURN FLIGHT NEXT THURSDAY… SHE IS A TERRIBLE REPRESENTATIVE FOR YOUR AIRLINES…. I NEED A CALL [protected] … do not want to fly with employees you higher like this…

Allegiant Air Flight 2083

I was booked on flight 2083 on Saturday August 13th, 2022. The flight was scheduled for departure 8:26 however the flight was delayed by more than two hours. Finally, the plane boarded and one of the last passengers approached the woman in the seat in front of me (7D) and began hassling 7D that she was in her seat. The only open seat in row 7 was (7F). As it turned out she was wrong her seat was 7 C which was occupied by a man sleeping. After much scuffling the man moved to seat 7 F. As soon as she sat down, she started making unwelcomed conversation with the couple sitting next to her. Then she turned to me across the aisle and asked me if I could see the moon out the window as I was in seat 8D I told her no. She could not accept my answer and as there were two vacant seats next to me, she wanted to move to the window seat. Then she got up and stood beside me and kept running her mouth at me and I kept shouting back "Leave me alone" finally she went back to her seat. Did it end there, no. She finally got the flight attendants to come to me and had the couple sitting next to her move into the two vacant seats next to me so she could see the moon. Did it end there, NO. For the duration of the flight, she sat sidesaddle and glared at me and when she got no response from me, she turned on her music and at first for everyone to hear and then put her ear buds in her phone and she proceeded to dance in her seat. Bouncing in her seat flailing her arms and periodically sitting sidesaddle glaring at me. Note she never did look at the moon. I chose not to make a scene by keeping silent and kept me eyes closed when she stared at me. I should also say here that she was under the influence which I smelled when she approached me at my seat. When the order for drinks came around she ordered two Jack Daniels but she did not have the money to pay so the order was voided. In closing I would like to be compensated fot the abuse I endured on your Airline.

Allegiant Air Flight Cancellation

Flight 2323 From Orlando Sanford Airport to McAllen Miller Airport on 3/18/2022 was abruptly cancelled without reason. We were not given any alternate dates for that day to return home. The confirmation number for the travel date BNRLN9.

I have sent an email about this on their website have tried to call [protected] and get no answer or busy signal. On June 23,2022 i sent and email to customer relations and have received no response.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of $2,614.50

Allegiant Air Carryon bag

On July 31 on flight from west palm beach to Cincinnati the stewardess would not allow me to put my overhead bag in the bin over my seat 2D even though it was empty. I was probably the fifth passenger to board. I had to use bin three then when the passengers in row 3 boarded they got to use bin two. This may not seem like a big deal but I paid for these up front seats so I would not have to go behind me to get my carry on. I have priority boarding as well. There was NOTHING IN BIN WHEN I BOARDED. I should have had priority for the bin over my seat especially if it was Empty. I’m almost 70 and had to reach and block the isle to get my bag. Ridiculous. I fly many times a year but am

About done with Allegiant.

Allegiant Air Sick passenger

July 18/22 flight 513 from Las Vegas to Bellingham I was in seat 12 F and a man in 12 D was so sick the flight attendant got him a sick bag even before the doors to the aircraft were closed. he should never have been on the flight you should have better screening for people that are sick. a day and a half later I have Covid. Allegiant Air Incredible selfishness

Flight confirmation number bs4lyq. I bought my mother and father a plane ticket to come see me in Arizona. After I ordered it my mother got I’ll and I went to cancle my mother and fathers ticket and out of $284 dollars of the funds I spent I was given a voucher for $56 I cannot believe that anyone can justify stealing $150 from someone who’s mother has fallen I’ll. I have no hope for humanity any longer everyone today is dishonest and takers and Allegiant air is no different. I am not a rich man I work hard and for someone to take my hard earned money cause they can makes me sick to

My very core. If I ever own an airline company I will make damn sure people can get full refunds for there hard earned money. I will never ever fly with Allegiant ever again and I will continue to let everyone I love and know to do the same as well. Your a horrible entity.

Allegiant Air Couldn't contact Allegiant to cancel my flight

I tried to cancel my Allegiant flight 1565, scheduled to leave on June 10, 2022 out of Punta Gorda, Florida and arrive in Portsmouth International at Pease Airport and flight 1599 scheduled to bring me back to Punta Gorda on June 13. I started calling on June 8th, 9th, and 10th. I made MANY attempts to call [protected] and had a busy signal every time (except for once, which said there was a 2 hour wait). I was never able to speak to anyone. All I received were two emails responding to my emails telling me to call [protected] (which was never available). I would either like a refund or a voucher. Most of all, I would like to speak to a human being at Allegiant so this can be taken care of.

Allegiant Air Customer service contact

I recently booked a flight, June12,2022, Myrtle Beach SC to Allentown PA for Monday June 13, 2022 to meet up with family for a get together. An unexpected problem arose and plans had to be cancelled. I went online to cancel my flight and the site wouldn't allow me this option, it said I would have to call and speak directly to a customer service representative, not a problem I thought. I called a number of times only to get a busy signal. Finally after numerous attempts I got through only to be informed that there was a 2 hour wait time due to a unusual amount of calls. I patiently waited on hold for the "next available operator" for at least an hour before driving to the airport, while on hold, and spoke with the ticket kiosk attendant, who had told me they are unable to cancel tickets only issue them. While still on hold I drove home and waited for someone to speak to for another hour and a half. My total waiting time was 3hours and 39 minutes. Very unacceptable. At this point my flight time was only three hours away so I ended the call. All of the others who took a different airline were able to cancel they're flights immediately, online instantly no problem. I was stuck with my ticket and had no choice but to take the flight and do the trip solo. I will in the consider other optional airlines in the future if this is the kind of customer care I should expect. If you have any solutions to this problem, I would surely, like to here them.

Allegiant Air Refund promised and never received on canceled flight.

I am filing this on be half of my 84 year old neighbor. She booked a flight to Florida and back, and due to circumstances beyond her control she had to cancel. She does not have internet so I am taking care of all of this for her. I phoned Allegiant January 4, 2022 and spoke to Yolanda. The flight was canceled and I was told she would receive a refund, as a 1 time curtesy, due to her age. I was also told that I would receive an email verifying this. I never received an email and my neighbor never received her refund. I have called countless times since then and always get a busy signal or told the wait time is greater than 2 hours (not true). I waited on hold 1 time for 3 hours and 5 minutes and never spoke to anyone. I have also emailed 3 times. I just want what was promised to her.

Allegiant Air Customer service non-existent | manage travel, live chat, email, phone

The "Manage Travel" Portal on the Allegiant website is down and has been for some time. This is the only way a person can manually change dates or cancel their flight.

The other methods of getting in contact with Allegiant are also impossible.

For example, I sent an email through the "Email Us" option on the Contact Us page (Customer.[protected]@egain.allegiantair.com) over a week ago and have yet to get a response other than the initial automated response, which also tells me to access the Manage Travel Portal.

The "Live Chat" is not accessible -- this is a broken link on the web page.

The Phone Support [protected]) has "wait times of over 2 hours". This is if you can even get in the queue. I called over 15 times and received a "busy" dial tone. When I finally did get in the line yesterday, I spent 6+ hours of my day on hold. The first call lasted 3 hours, 44 minutes on hold only to be FINALLY answered by an agent and then hung up on. A second call 2 minutes later and I was back in the queue for 3 hours 17 minutes and hung up on again.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. As a traveler, I have no options at this time to cancel/change my flight. I will be forced to be a "no-show" and lose all of my $$ paid towards my flight -- this isn't fair or good business.

Desired outcome: I would like to talk with someone to cancel my flight so that I can use the Travel Funds at a later time.

Allegiant Air Discrimination against disability

Todays flight on 5/22/33 at 9:30pm going from richmond, va to nashville, tn we have experienced discrimination against disability. On the website it says nothing about having a foot boot excluding you from being able to sit in the exit row. We paid an up charge to sit with extra leg room. Once on the flight the rudest flight attendant named ana told us we could not sit in the exit row due to my “bum foot” I politely explained the situation and she pretty much said too bad. And told us to move to a row that had people in it. She did not help us move our bags and told us to “figure out a refund once we land” which is impossible to do tonight since everything is closed. I am so upset with their customer service and discrimination. If you are disabled I highly recommend you stay away.
