Dealership
Hi There,
We bought a Amaron battery from a Amaron dealership in Bhogpur, Jalandhar with date of sale mentiones for 08/02/21. Today 06/02/23 my battery wasn’t working and the dealer where we purchased the battery PAUL TRACTORS BHOGPUR straight away refused to replace it which is totally unacceptable and loosing customer faith in buying anymore Amaron batteries. Battery clearly shows 48 months written warranty on it.
Desired outcome: Replacement and action to be taken for falsifying and misleading the customer.

Battery down for not using the car within 32 days of buying- very poor customer service
I bought new Amaron battery as replacement for my Toyota Etios petrol car on 30/1/2016. As I didn't drive the car for 5 days due to pain in my right foot, the battery went down. Since I was to go to the Doctor for detail examination after little recovery, I found out that the battery is down. On contacting the toll free number given on the warranty card, I was given another tel. No. to contact telling that since it is not an emergency, it may take up to 48 hrs to attend. I was given a complaint No. 163241. I asked contact No.of a senior official so that I could emphasize the emergency for immediate attention, but it was refused. Anyway, on contacting the given Tel No., I was told that he will callback within 5 minutes. I got the call back after 1 hour 25 minutes, saying that my complaint will be attended to next day. On querying, It was confirmed that it may take up to 48 hrs to attend to my complaint. Looking at my emergency for immediate medical attention, I asked him not to come as I can get the work done by local mechanics on priority by paying his charges, but I am now determined to create awareness amongst public and friends through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc to think many times before buying AMARON batteries. Thanks for the poor customer service.--- Dr Vinod Chandra

So guys when next time you see AMaron Battery adv on TV...think again...I had a full insured under 18 months warranty on the car battery that I bought.
But the truth is, if you call them to complain their representatives will try to push the case till the time your battery is older than 18 months and then they will not exchange it.
Complaints...wht complaints?
Ignore them- that's their motto, ...last long life long ----will only be your hassel and trouble.
I reside in Gurgaon & I have a Amaron car battery which I bought on 2nd Aug 2008. In January 20010, I started facing problems with the battery.
Initially I thought it could be a starter problem and had the car self tested and check by Qutab Automobiles in Gurgaon. After spending 1500/-, the mechanic told me that the problem is with the battery as one of the cells in the battery is dead.
On Jan 11th 2010, I called up your 24hour helpline number. In turn they promised to send someone over to have a look at the battery. Meanwhile I also got my car checked from Apra Automobiles, as I had purchased the battery from them. Apara Automobile also confirmed that the battery had to be replaced.
On the 12th Jan, a person came to look at the battery. He took the battery saying that after checking, if there is a fault, he would immediately replace the battery. He returned next day saying there is nothing wrong with the battery. He only got the battery re-charged, and at this stage the battery was only 15 months old and should have been replaced.
I told the representative that he probably intends to delay my case so till it is 18 months so that I am not eligible for a complete exchange.
Every day since then I have faced problem with this battery. I have had this battery recharged almost every week to keep running.
Recently I visited the Amaron Authorized dealer in Gurgaon. The owner, along with the mechanics, had a look at the battery and this time finally they agreed that there is a fault in the battery. And as I had predicted, now they say that this is the 19th month of the warranty and they can’t do anything about it.
I would like to bring to your notice that the initial complain was made when the battery was 15 month old. I still have the complaint number. Would like to also ask why was the battery not checked properly and why was there no exchange when the company policy states that a customer is entitled for an exchange. Is this a company practice to discourage customers till the time their warranty period expires?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
