New vehicle pricing
The Monroney Sticker had a bottom line price of 41,186 for a Toyota Tacoma.
I had a trade in on a 2020 infinity Q60 with 19,600 miles which I already had a cash offer for 32,500 and 31,872 respectively.
My offer was for 32,500 trade in and 40,186 for the Truck, The salesman (nice guy) had me sign the offer written on a piece of paper. The counteroffer came back with a difference of $879, my counter with that was - we split the difference: I come up 440, they come down 439- Again I was asked to sign the counter offer.
Pretty clear. It was verbally accepted by the dealership. Went into financing there and signed the paperwork, I was rushing to reach an appointment (bad excuse). Immediately at home I noticed it was wrong and called the sale guy. He called and I went back to hopefully gather the signed documents (at their urging) and discuss. I was told the sales manager said nothing he could do I signed and left with the truck, also was told that the signed negotiation papers were gone - shredded! They would have shown what this final deal negotiated outcome was. Verbally the salesman remembered the key numbers shown here but the was no evidence.
Bottom Line on the signed sales documents:
The trade in on my car was now much lower (30,782) with a Tacoma price of 40,499 for a net difference of $1,591 unfavorable to me!
Part of this was a $595 charge for Toyota link NOT ON THE MONRONEY LABEL!
Something changed after the negotiated agreement and the documents in finance.
Desired outcome: -Honor the 32500 trade in value Less the 440 "meet in the middle" agreement. -Maintain records of signed counteroffers for some period.I will EAT the $595.00 making the difference to $996.00.
I was interested in a car noted on the internet
I was interested in a car noted on the internet. The price was clearly stated. When I got to the facility to talk about the car, I was told there was an additional $995 added to the price noted on the internet. They told me this was for an anti-theft device installed on the vehicle. When I asked why this was included in the price, I received what in my mind was a ludicrous answer. I was told that not all the cars being sold had this device, and if they added it to any of the internet priced cars, it would automatically show up on ALL the internet cars. But they must price each car indivually, so it seems they could/SHOULD add this additional charge when they figure out a price to go on the internet.
I wanted to let you know of a very bad experience I had with Brandon P. I wanted to lead with the fact I have been a faithful customer for about 20 years. I have bought, financed and serviced my cars with you. I was looking to upgrade my vehicle and looked at your inventory. I did not see what I wanted, so I looked at other dealerships. I found what I wanted in Indiana. I did not like the logistics of driving two hours to purchase a vehicle and then having to service it there as well, so I contacted your internet team starting with Rachael R. I explained the situation. I had found a car at another dealership, got to an agreed price, was wondering if you could get the car for me and honor that price. I was told that would not be an issue. I was passed off to Kelley as Rachael was working from home that day. I came in to get my *** looked at for a trade in. I came armed with a KBB dealer trade in. I was severely low balled on the trade in. To add some more info, my vehicle is in great condition and has about 30,000 to 50,000 fewer miles on it than a comparable vehicle would have. I said I would not take less than $9,000. I know you guys would sell this vehicle for about $13,700 or more (I looked it up and did my research). Kelley kept going back to Brandon and would not even let me hold the offer sheet. I was in to service my vehicle anyway, so while I was other there I asked to have them give me a copy of the offer sheet so I can make an informed decision, which they refused. It took me two days to finally get it with the increased offer of $9,000 for the trade. Again, this should not be that hard. I have bought vehicles through you the internet route. I can see now why now they wouldn't give it to as the figures were wrong. I had sent the emails with the specifics for the vehicle to them to review, including the final price on the vehicle. Brandon had, of course, increased the cost by $2,500. I don't know if it was intentional or if he is not good at math, but this did seem to make him mad because my dealings with him after that were terrible. He send me nothing but terrible, rude emails. He basically said I had to accept the higher amount and he pulled the trade offer. He kept saying where is the other trade offer for $9,000? Which makes no sense as I didn't go to another dealer for a trade offer. I came to your dealership. Either he is confusing me with someone else, or he doesn't know what he is doing. Is this how you do business or how your employees are supposed to treat customers? I already told him I would be contacting you, Toyota Corporate and filing a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. I could go on for pages about this and send you copies of his emails, but I am so fumed right now. I just wanted you to know as this is a guy that is making me no longer want to patronize Toyota.

I purchased a BMW from Performance Toyota on 6/12
I purchased a BMW from Performance Toyota on 6/12. The vehicle did not have a warranty; however, the dealership did an inspection of the vehicle prior to my purchase and claimed that everything was in good working order. I took the car to a BMW dealership for some recall work, and they identified 2 significant oil leaks (one from the oil pan, and one from the oil filter housing) that, according to their expert opinion have been there for quite some time. These items were not called out not the report from Performance, and had they been, I would not have purchased the vehicle. Also, I purchased the car 1 month ago and still do not have my title. The County Clerk confirmed that Performance has not even begun the title process, so I will not have my title before the temp tags expire. See video from BMW:

I found a 2017 Toyota **** online
I found a 2017 Toyota *** online. The price was on their web site . When I went there to look at it I decided to buy it on 9/1 . They said all their vehicles have *** on them that it was extra. It should of been in the price on the internet. I ask them to reduce the price of the car by 500.00 dollars. The salesman ask his manager and came back with a answer yes.The saleman said they took off the 500.00 off of the *** price. On my contract it saids 575 for the ***. They also advertised a picture of the suv they were selling with a cargo cover. I found out that the price of the *** was 595.00 so I went in there to talk to them about the problems on 10/15. The Sale Manager said that the 595 was a promotion that just started. I ask her to show me proof but she blew me off and send the sales man to talk to me. They wouldn't show me the new promotion when I asked her. When advertising on the internet they should include everything. They lied to me about the 500.00 that they didn't take off of the price. I want my 500.00 dollars back. I spend 22,000 for the suv in cash. I work hard for my money and will not be cheated. That why I don't like to buy cars from Dealer even not all Dealer are bad. Performance Toyota you are going to let 500 Dollars give you a bad reputation.
